[irritated] "Do you think you can handle seeing this matter to its conclusion, or is it a bad idea for me to leave this in your hands? DON'T disappoint me again."

After a couple of apologetic yes ma'ams, Clara waved her hand at them dismissively and she and Johnny finally left. She was sure that Claudia was long since aboard her flight to Italy and so Clara had missed even the opportunity to call Claudia before she left. As the door to her sleek black Lamborghini was opened for her, Clara searched her purse for her phone, so that she could at least send her sister a text apologizing for having to bail on the farewell at the last minute. It wasn't there, and she couldn't remember having it since she left home. She frowned.

"Hey John, did you get any messages from Claudia? I think I must've left my phone at the house."

Johnny: "No. I thought it was strange that I didn't hear it ring this whole time."

Clara felt an inexplicable unease…. How could she have left without her phone? It was such an absent-minded thing to do, and what if Claudia had needed to reach her?

Johnny: "I'm sure if anything dire came up, she'd call me when she didn't reach you."

"Yes…"

She acknowledged, though the feeling didn't fade. They drove home in companionable silence. When they got there, Jonny volunteered to get the kitchen staff working on lunch and Clara nodded, going immediately for her master suite, intent on getting her phone and checking it for messages. Her heels clicked across the marble floors in a hurried gait that was borderline jog. When she reached her phone, she was NOT relieved as she hoped she might be. Claudia's cryptic message about being TRAPPED inside LAX only worsened Clara's gloom and doom. Clara sat down on the edge of her bed and quickly, frantically texted back.

What reports?? What happened?? What do you mean you're TRAPPED?!?

escape from LAX

[ as they rushed out of the hall and Nicolas closed it up behind them, the group stood together, looking out to the dark, badly damaged terminal with zombies lurking about.]

Flight Attendant: Oh my god! how...how are we going to escape?

Silver Swan: Don't worry...they're slow enough, we can evade most of them and for those that we cant, WE will deal with them. You just stay inside of our circle and move with the pace of the group.

[ she turns and looks at the young woman who was doing her best to remain brave and composed but was CLEARLY frazzled.]

Don't worry...Nothing will happen to you.

Alycia: Will? looks like you'll get some target practice in.

:: she smiled a bit as she tried to encourage him::

Will: we've been here before....havent we?

Alycia: and we've survived! just as we will now. we're ready to move when you are...

:: addressing Sharon and the rest of the Six. ::

Sharon: the escape is not too far ahead! [ pointing in the direction of the glass doors and the lights outside.] we have to run for it. its the only way! we'll pass the jet wreckage and there's a slope to get down, but we can make it.

Senator Ron Davis: are you INSANE!? those THINGS are out there! we cant..

[ Sharon was AWARE that THIS man REPLACED her in the New York Senate seat. But he was everything she was opposed to. corporate. greed. corrupt and anti mutant/meta human. he would have undone EVERYTHING she worked so hard for....he would have SPIT on her legacy if he could.]

Silver Swan: SHUT UP! SHUT YOUR MOUTH or I will THROW you TO the Zombies...DO YOU UNDERSTAND!?

[ Alycia placed a hand on Sharon's armour covered shoulder. SHE despised the Senator too. he WAS corrupt and all of this WAS his fault in more than a little way, but MURDERING him like THIS wouldnt be the answer. STILL, to SILENCE him was enough of a good effect from Sharon's sharp and harsh threat. He'd already been warned by Claudia before and he'd been nothing but obonxious and rude this entire time.]

Alright....[ exhaling]

let's move at a quick pace, stay together keep the innocents inside the circle and everyone else BLOCK and REPELL.

[With Haleigh bringing up the rear, that was guarantee that no one would be lost or left behind. With Sharon and Nicolas leading, the FRONT would be like a battering ram. With Delilah, Persephone and Prophet flanking the innocents, the protection would be strong.]

okay everyone.....1....2....3!

[ Alycia holds on to the little girl's hand and smiles at her as Sharon motions for the group to make their move and they begin to RUN.]

LAX terminal

:: The SIGHT of the Six, although a slightly different roster than she remembered, had not completely set in on Alycia. If not for the pressing situation in front of them, SHE and the Six might have been able to regard each other more. As it was, she showed some warmth and smiled at them as some of them directly greeted her. there would be time for "family talk" (both good and bad) later.::

:: for NOW the task of escaping with their lives was at hand and as they prepared to run for their lives. Ron Davis opened his mouth and was met with a SAVAGE response by Sharon. There'd be no way he could proove she said that to him and Alycia smirked with quiet satsifaction. The fact that the present senator was speaking to his now super powered predecessor made for obvious tension between them, that and the well known facts about his dealings with WilPharma. ::

:: She and Will shared a quiet word and memories. Thankfull that theire past experiences allowed them to be able to cope with this better than the poor flight attendant and child in their midst.::

:: it was time to run and Alycia was ready to see this child to safety. she looked down at the girl.::

Alright honey, we're going now. Don't let go of my hand no matter what!

:: At Sharon's command, they began, running together. it was a SCAREY jaunt even for Alycia, who was experienced and now an adopted Amazon. These Zombies were but ONE expression of the horrors of corporate maleficence. There was something MORE here than just this. In fact, THIS would soon be merely a foot note in the bigger picture that was forming, one that even she had no idea would force her back toward the Six again.::

:: they ran together. the flight attendant was along side Alycia, who held the little girl's hand. Will over shadowed them. the six kept them inside their circle and the sound of laser blasts, high powered weaponry, lightning bolts and other power signatures could be heard as the fended off zombies and bulled their way through.::

goddess please let us GET OUT OF HERE!

:: the run was dangerous and deadly and there were no guarantees even WITH the Six present. ::

Nicolas was almost ready to kill the new Senator HIMSELF he was so whiny and full of shit. When Alycia checked him, he turned to see what would happen to find Alycia calming her. He almost wish she hadn't. Maybe Sharon could get her rocks off killing THAT loser instead of taking life's ups and downs out on her teammates.

He turned back to the child as they prepared to run the gauntlet.

Hey, sweetheart. I'll bet all this excitement has even a big girl like you so sleepy I'll bet you won't even make it past this...

Nicolas snaps his fingers as she falls asleep peacefully.

sentence. NOW let's go. She doesn't need to see this.

He nods to Sharon as they start out, tapping his cane as it turns into several short one-foot spears. As they proceed, he takes out much of his side with TK-targeted shots to the head with those spikes as they hover in front of the demigod, menacingly looking for a target to hit. As he proceeds, he sends a thought to Haleigh.

Hang in there honey. I KNOW that you are not well. Is there anything I can get you that will help? Perhaps epinephrine or a steriod of some sort?

Claudia: Keep it together, Davidoff. You look a little pale.

Haleigh scowled at her at she passed. Claudia was far too perceptive for her own good. Worse than that, she had a big fat mouth, which Haleigh was clenching a fist in preparation to SILENCE if Claudia decided to say anything else… but Claudia just sashayed on by, and Haleigh wait a few seconds as everyone took their positions and started to move. The rescued were surrounded by the Six and under their protection, but right now, Haleigh didn't feel very worthy of the task. She couldn't stop herself from noticing that the only thing that stood between her and the child now was a bunch of humans. Nicolas was up front and even though Ava, Cameron, and Delilah were near by but not aware of her turmoil; they would only be able to REACT to a situation and even once they did… it would likely be too late. Haleigh let herself lag behind a few extra paces. The idea that she might snap and not only attack the child, but that she would have to fight her own family to defend the abominable act was keeping her head above the proverbial flood. She could not, WOULD not allow that to happen. They were almost out of here. She could make it. Now if only the child would STOP looking back at Haleigh with those wide, alarmed, accusing eyes!

They came upon a T intersection, one end of which was blocked by a distant zombie horde. They quickly chose the other direction, even though it meant they'd have to pass through the open terminal. Nicolas put the kid to sleep and they prepared to make a run for it. Haleigh manifested a Walther p22 with a suppressor attached to keep the noise down. The distraction of fighting off zombies was EXACTLY what she needed right now.

Nicolas: Hang in there honey. I KNOW that you are not well. Is there anything I can get you that will help? Perhaps epinephrine or a steroid of some sort?

A fresh wave of mortification washed over Haleigh. She softly shook her head as she shot down a nearing zombie, trying NOT to imagine that was what she was slowly turning into.

No… I'm reluctant to introduce ANY stimulant without knowing precisely what effect it'll have. It might makes things WORSE. I think I have it under control. [thinking more to herself] I… I won't hurt her.

:: They made their way, together with the new roster of the Six for the first time with Alycia Barnett and others in tow no less down the long and dark hall before realizing they were going to have to run for their lives to get out of this place. ::

"Great... just great..."

:: Everyone was preparing and before long they were entering their gauntlet at a great speed. The zombies appeared to be slow moving for now but Cameron didn't want to take any chances. His pupils dilated as he fried the electrical impulses in the brains of a cluster of zombies ahead of them who would about to be in their way as he watched them flop to the ground. ::

:: Cameron looked over at Haleigh and Nicolas. Something was going on between them. He couldn't probe Nicolas without him knowing and to be honest, Haleigh's brain didn't necessarily function like others. It was a little more intricate, almost like a computer, it would take much needed concentration off of the task at hand and he needed to focus, but he could discern that it was about the little girl. He shot a mental message to Delilah. ::

"Trelaven.. sorry to stifle your concentration, but something's going on with Haleigh and Nicolas.. it involves the little girl. I'm not saying anything bad but keep a look out with me okay?"

:: He turned his concentration back to making sure that everyone was okay, but keeping a little bit of focus on Haleigh and Nicolas, ready to seize the now sleeping girl if anything went crazy::

Delilah didn’t pay much attention to who was there, not enough at least to be bothered by the Senator or Claudia Zacchara. They were here to rescue the survivors, and the less talking and more moving they did, the better for all of them. So she kept her mouth shut, took up her position alongside the survivors, and kept a vigilant eye out. Alycia and Will might have shared a moment about being there before, but fact of the matter was, this was becoming a matter of course for all of the Six, and it hardly posed a challenge.

As it became apparent how they were going to have to get out of there, she “heard” Cameron in her head:

Prophet said:
Trelaven.. sorry to stifle your concentration, but something's going on with Haleigh and Nicolas.. it involves the little girl. I'm not saying anything bad but keep a look out with me okay?

Delilah’s eyes slid to the sleeping girl, then to Haleigh and finally Nicolas. Other than Haleigh looking a little…frazzled…she didn’t notice anything untoward. Instinctively, she took a step closer to the girl before looking at Cameron.

Cameron…can you tell…she’s not like US is she?

She was trying to think what could be going on between those three that would have them acting secretively.

As the group made their way through the hall, Claudia stayed in the middle of the group surrounded by the six. If they wanted to risk their lives to save her, who was she to object? Sharon announced zombies were behind them and they had to make their way through the terminal. Wrinkling her nose, the entire area smelled like jet fuel. It was overpowering to say the least.

Feeling her phone vibrate in her pocket, Claudia quickly retreived already knowing it was Clara.

What reports?? What happened?? What do you mean you're TRAPPED?!?

Apparently she HADN'T heard the reports. But before she could text her sister back, the zombies that were in the terminal spotted the group. Tucking her phone back into her pocket, Claudia lifted her gun and took out two near by zombies with a single gunshot wound to each of their heads. Agan, she wasn't about to expose herself in front of the senator when her family was already under suspion for being involved in organized crime.

Only four rounds left. Ugh....she'd REALLY hate asking Davidoff for help. Taking out another zombie, now she was down to three.

"Shit."

Claudia muttered to herself. Getting frustrated.

"Why are you all staring at each other?! Can we hurry it up!"

Unaware of the mental secrets and conversations going on between half the six team members, Claudia just wanted to get the hell out of the terminal and fast. The last thing she was prepared to do today was fight off flesh eating zombies.

Walking through the terminal, Ava kept her eyes glued on the various zombies to her left. There were about six of them. One of a little girl not much older than the one Alycia had rescued.

"Creepy.."

Ava said softly, not wanting to draw attention to the group. But as luck would have it, all the zombies in the terminal took notice of them. The six zombies to Ava's left began to run toward them. Lifting her hand, she created a gale force gust of wind that picked all 6 zombies up and hurled them through the terminal windows and about 30 feet out into one of the runways.

"Clear on the left."

Claudia began to pick off a couple zombies via gun, while Nicolas took some out using his TK.

Claudia: "Can we hurry it up!"

"Feel free to go on ahead Claudia! I'm sure no one here will miss you."

Giving her a smile, Claudia returned the gesture with a hateful glare.

Claudia: "Like I would give any of you the satisfaction."

Rolling her eyes, Ava could barely stand Claudia after meeting her twice. How the six LIVED with her for a month was remarkable. How they didn't KILL her was even MORE remarkable.

Quickly turning toward the door they had just exited out of, Ava could hear numerous fits pounding on it, and very loud groaning. The zombies that were in the hallway behind them finally caught up.

"I hate to say it, but Claudia's right....we need to hurry up!"

Haleigh noticed as Cameron starting paying a little bit more attention to her and Nicolas, then suddenly out of the corner of her eye, Haleigh saw Delilah's gaze travel from the kid, to Haleigh herself, and then on to Nicolas. Delilah crept a bit closer to the child, and Haleigh, feeling gross, let a few more paces between her and the group grow, until she was a good 10 to 12 feet behind them. No one said ANYTHING, so it was anyone's guess what they were thinking. Did they recognize the predatory glint in Haleigh's surreptitious glances at the child? Did they know know what was going on, or just catch the tense vibe and were starting to take precautions?

Claudia: Why are you all staring at each other?! Can we hurry it up!

It was a welcome distraction, something Haleigh was QUITE CERTAIN no one had EVER thought about Claudia before.

"Aww, what's the matter Claudia, don't you trust us to protect you from the yucky scary monsters?"

She teased with an evil smirk. She quickly realized the reason Claudia was getting so antsy; Claudia was down to three rounds of ammunition and was clearly trying not to use her powers in front of the audience they were dragging along. Haleigh briefly considered allowing Claudia to run out, but then decided that Claudia would likely just play 'helpless', and then they'd have one less person that was actively helping them, which was not strategically sound.

"Claudia, heads up."

She begrudgingly tossed Claudia a full magazine of ammo, and then backhanded the face right off a zombie that popped up from behind a large piece of plane debris.

escape from L.A.X.

<< they run the gauntlet with Silver Swan and Rampage unflinchingly bulling the path for them, Persephone and MorningStar using their long range strikes to keep the middle of the group safe. The stewardess ran, with Will & Claudia using their weapons with sharp accuracy, picking off closer zombies. Prophet and Black Widow brought up the rear keeping any straggling zombies from catching up with them. Alycia moves with speed, carrying the sleeping child tightly held.>>

<< there were a few SCAREY moments but the group kept it together until the end when the Senator broke from the protection of the group, thinking he could make better time on his own. His knee gives out and he falls, being closed in on by zombies. He is grudgingly saved by Haleigh and roughly ushered back toward the group as they make their last final dash out of the glass doors of the terminal, where upon Sharon broadcasts their status as SURVIVORS with her sonic enhanced voice to the waiting army of military and special tactics squad.>>

<< they were greeted and quickly scuttled aaway from the danger while the army and marine forces STORMED the terminal, prepared to fight and slay. flashes of gun fire could be heard.>>

<< meanwhile the six and their rescued innocents stood there, with the senator berating them until finally, Alycia walks up to him and PUNCHES HIM in the face with such force that the overweight senator is knocked to the ground. those who watched her punch him got a brief glimpse of her feminum bracelets on her wrists. she was now stronger than a human, having been trained in the ways of amazons and developed her physical skills to a point at or beyond peak human.>>

<< Alycia and the Six were escorted to Commander Miller's post and in the midst of the confusion, Claudia had made herself scarce, escsaping sight unseen now that she was out of the terminal and unnoticed.>>

<< and now, for more moments of reunion and debriefing....the Six, Alycia, Will and Commander Miller were all in the command tent.>>

They had made it out, easily from the Six's point of view. Delilah couldn't help but be a little disappointed. There was no grand battle, no big show of muscle. She didn't know why she was jonesing for a fight so badly, but the adrenaline was still pumping through her veins as they moved past the SWAT teams already moving into the terminal.

The Senator began running his mouth, and Delilah rolled her eyes so much that she almost missed ALYCIA of all people punching him square in the jaw. That was aggressive even for Alycia's ballbusting persona.

Delilah whistled. "Holy shit..."

Before she could really get over the shock enough to comment, they were ushered into the command tent where Commander Miller awaited. Her mind went automatically to "cop mode".

"We know where the plane was coming from? Any leads on how the infection got exposed?"

Everyone was safe (even the suddenly absent Claudia Zacchara, who Delilah really thought was better off dead) and they could finally exhale. And then it hit her - Alycia was back.

She looked at her longtime ally and former attorney. So much had changed since the days when they had first met.

"Alycia - it's so good to see you. I'm so glad you're safe - welcome back!"

Delilah moved to hug her old friend...

Johnny: "Good thing you're sitting down. There's something you need to see."

He passed her his iPhone. The latest reports from CNN filled her in on the catastrophe unfolding at the airport. Bioterrorism, plane crashes, zombies, there was no good news to be had, it was bad all around. Clara's heart was in her throat, horrorstruck.

"John, have the Mercedes brought around immediately."

Her Lamborghini was only a two seater. Also, in addition to being less conspicuous, the Mercedes was the 'Guard' model, specifically engineered to be bulletproof and blast rated, and it was the darkest window-tinted vehicle they owned. Privacy AND security. It was the reason that Foreign Ambassadors and Political figures rode around in the Mercedes Guard.

Johnny: "You want to go INTO that mess? It's a press CIRCUS, Clara. You won't be able to do anything."

"Johnny, If I have to manifest a BLACK HOLE big enough to completely SWALLOW the entirety of LAX, so help me, I WILL do WHATEVER it takes to get Claudia home safely. She's all the family I have now."

She shot back, a bit harshly. She was in no mood to be talked out of it.

****

The silver Mercedes slides up near the main entrance to the terminal. There's barricades everywhere and Marines posted every twenty feet or so to keep the press and the picketers back. Clara stays off to the side, where she has a direct line of sight to the glass doors of the terminal. There's a large command tent set up nearby. It's the only sign of activity on that side of the barricade.

Clara's mind is racing. She hasn't yet heard back from her sister and is SICK with worry. What if she's too late? Seconds pass like hours. She won't be able to slip past the guards unnoticed. She'll have to create a diversion.

The glass doors burst open, a group spilling out quickly. Many of the people are recognizable. The Six. Of COURSE they're involved in this disaster. They brought the LAST bout of zombies to the Zacchara's laps. Was that ALYCIA BARNETT with them?? Just when Clara thought they were no more surprises [and no hope left for her sister] she saw that Claudia was among them! Clara nearly fainted with relief. She quickly texted her sister again.

<< In the Benz to your left. Time to make a sly getaway. >>

The Six and Alycia were being escorted to the command tent. The other nameless survivors were being cared for by emergency medical teams. There was just enough activity for Claudia to slip away and climb into the Mercedes, which discreetly rolled away, unnoticed.

out of harms way... for now.

Together they worked like clockwork, with Haleigh and Cameron awkwardly bringing up the rear, picking of straggling zombies that attempted to catch up with them and it was in these moments that Cameron recognized The Six's true brilliance. Admist their own personal dramas, agendas, vendettas even, they were able to work together, a true testament of what they had all been through together.

The only scary part was when the Senator foolishly tried to make a run for it. Cameron probed his mind to find that the man thought he could make it out of here faster alone.

"Oh what fools these mortals be..."

He sighed as he decided whether or not to let the man run to his own death. Thankfully Haleigh interjected and captured him with moments to spare as they made their way out of the terminal, Sharon broadcasting their arrival as survivors as they were greeted and taken away from the danger as Cameron watched the armed forces storm the terminal, knowing that some would not make it out alive. But that wasn't their concern. Now, they just had to make sure the others were okay.

Everyone seemed to be doing well and Claudia had made her great escape a little earlier, which was probably best for everyone. There was a small bit of silence that was halted the moment Alycia walked right up to the Senator, knocking him dead off of his feet. Cameron got a quick glance of some shiny new jewelry Alycia had on her wrists and his mind quickly scanned through his own thoughts and memories, trying to pick out an impression of just what they were. Whatever they were, Cameron had never heard or seen them, and they were definitely something not of the everyday world. But there was time for that earlier.

"Is everyone okay?"

Cameron rifled through a part of the command tent, using his abilities to know where first aid kits and the such were as he began gathering a few supplies such as ice packs and burn gels. It was odd not having a team healer on demand as before. He walked up to Will and handed him an ice pack and slowly made his way to Alycia. He waited until Delilah had finished hugging her.

"You need an ice pack for that hand? Nice shot, by the way..."

This part was a breeze. Nic and Sharon simply destroyed all in their path. He was happy to do this as it would make the work to be done by the military even easier.

They mowed through, with the others picking off stragglers and those foolish enough to accidentally flank them. Nic was moving, scanning, and killing when he suddenly stopped and smiled, his mind releasing a thought even as the portly man moved away from the group.

Dumb ass.

Haleigh picked up on it and was moving to get him before anyone could react, definitely before anyone would have. As the zombies tried to close in she snatched up the politician and killed his aggressors, returning him roughly to the group.

They finally made it outside where Claudia began to sneak away with purpose. Nicolas immediately noticed the car off to one side and nodded. It was definitely for the best.

He then heard a very annoying voice chime in. The Senator, bitching about the situation to them. He looked around. This guy was likely going to get himself killed. Nicolas was preparing to address him roughly when Alycia did them a favor by knocking him out cold. The speed and strength of her movement was noteworthy, but the thing that REALLY stuck out to him was the composition of the large bracelets she wore. Impossibly dense yet lightweight, certainly not anything found on the Periodic Table. It appeared that someone had a keepsake from their time with the Amazons.

Nicolas stood silently as the team met with the authorities and as some members of the team attempted to reconnect with Alycia. He was happy to see her, but he wondered: was this the Alycia they remembered? Considering the issues they'd had with Sharon's return (and were still having), he was understandably a bit standoffish and wary, especially after his reception when he mentally told her they were coming to help her.

:: Alycia looked at the Senator with such CONTEMPT. Had he followed through with the agreed meeting time and place... well, nothing to do about that NOW. She was mildly satisfied with decking him inspite of it being caught on camera and now press fodder.::

:: Emergency services took the survivors away for emergency care and help and Alycia said a tender goodbye to the little girl she had rescued. For the time being, she forgot about Claudia and all of the problems THAT little reunion had posed and soon she and the six, along with Will, were being lead to Commander Miller's tent.::

:: Alycia stood in a very standoffish pose, with her arms crossed at her chest and her feminum bracelets forming an "X" across her chest as she closed her eyes. clearly she was distressed. It wasnt JUST what was going on here...it was CLAUDIA and what she said. Alycia didnt need THAT or any other aspects of her past getting in the way of her goal in the PRESENT!::

:: Angela and Will allowed themselves to show some real human emotion as they approached their former commanding officer. These two had been her trusted right hand man and woman, they were the best and now they BOTH were doing well in their lives after Force Works. Will owed his life to Alycia as she called upon Morgan to help him escape termination by the government and Angela had survived Arklay Forest and rose in the ranks, now helming a spin off of Force Works.::

Commander Miller: Alycia...it's so good to see you again. I thought....we thought you were ....

Will: Dead...

:: Alycia opened her hazel eyes::

No...not yet.

::squeezing the hands of Angela and Will, she looked at them both.::

It seems that you've both done well for yourselves. I'm glad for you.

:: her response was NOTHING like what they expected. she wouldnt address just where she'd been or what happened to her or how she came to be HERE and Delilah thankfully interrupted.::

:: Alycia noticeably moved to the background. Almost as if she was not interested in this part of things at all. She wanted to leave. ALONE.::

Commander Miller: :: a little bewildered by the one dimensional response from her former commanding officer and confident::

....um....yes!

:: moving back to the center of the room to the command console.::

We wont have all of the details about this jet until the black box is retrieved. the military and some of my soldiers have now stormed the terminal since you extracted the last survivors. the advantage they...we have is that some of us have dealt with this before. they are appropriately armed and armoured. wilpharma has arrived, with vials of VACCINES for this virus but I refuse to let them use this on MY men.

:: there WERE several WilPharma trucks outside...much to the alarm/delight of the press and ANGER of Terra Save protestors, including Alycia.::

What we do know is that this is one of now SEVERAL specific BIO TERROR events across the globe. Its the first on United States soil.

Terra Save has been protesting across the globe as WilPharma began a controversial testing program to see if their vaccine could REVERSE the effects of the T-VIRUS!

:: that was something none of the Six had heard until the sudden coverage of the inevitable confrontation between Terra Save and WilPharma at LAX!::

There have been reports...IMAGES

:: she brings forth files:

of their "results".

MOST test subjects...children...women... die and the ZOMBIES who are tested are turned into CRIMSON HEADS, the SUPER form of the Zombie. the FDA, Bless 'em, would NOT allow this to happen here so WilPharma has done this overseas.

:: Alycia keeps silent, using her training and new found level of mental discipline by the Amazons to effectively MUTE her thoughts and make them like quicksilver, HARDER for Nicolas or Cameron to read her thoughts. Its an excellent defense but not infallible in every case. BEST when used among a room of unprotected minds because then there are more thoughts to filter. She does not admit that SHE is a member of TERRA SAVE. Or that She has vital information.::

::Commander Miller: Terra Save has alleged that WilPharma is KIDNAPPING unsuspecting victims for these tests, but the governments in the countries where this is happening are not cooperating with the UN or Amnesty International. These countries are war torn and have no interest in cooperating with us. All they care about is violence and profit...we can't PROOVE anything and without that PROOF, no one can take action!

:: Terra Save WAS a relatively new development. Even Haleigh didnt have an extensive file on them but the group was BORN out of survivors of past mystech tragedies dating as far back as the 1960's. Widows, Widowers, Orphans, people who worked in various mystech strongholds both known and unknown that had been wounded and lost their lively hoods, people who had survived the meltdown of the citadle...etc. everything up to the present! the had a STRONG web like network across the globe and people used their experiences and knowledge as well as money and other individual talents, connections to create a very impressive, largely HUMAN resistence against Mystech, its ghost and its apparent successor WILPHARMA. Alycia, whose father had died because of Mystech had an extensive history with them that connected her to Sharon and the Six as well.::

Terra Save...while GROUND BREAKING in its efforts to spread awareness, help rescue and protect victims of Mystech and now WilPharma, are not a recognized entity and thus, we can't OFFICIALLY acknowledge or rely on their information. But .... :: looking at Will:: OFF THE RECORD? we KNOW what's going on here. Will and I fought alongside Alycia against these things in Arklay Forest and we know Alycia had us to keep the press and local law enforcement away from the forest so that YOU could do what you needed to do INSIDE Arklay Mansion. Its apparent now though, that you may NOT have destroyed the last samples of the T or G virus.

WilPharma is the most likely suspect, Terra Save has been tracking them across the United States and the Globe and someone with ties to Mystech MUST be behind their sudden reassurgance and expansion.

That's why after we retrieve the black box from the jet inside the terminal and escape, we're going to unleash sweeping steralization to deal with the remaining bio hazards the terminal. I'm not risking any of my men's lives unnecessarily.

There's nothing more I can give you on the record or that you can do here...But you CAN find a way to contact Terra Save and see what they have to offer. We have to clean up here and be ready in case something else happens somewhere else. YOU can do what you do best...and try to find the source of this.

Thank you for your help...and good luck.

:: and with that, Commander Miller asked them to leave, sight unseen. Will would stay behind with her. A farewell between Angela, Will and Alycia leaves Angela and Will wondering if all that Alycia's been through has changed her so deeply but thats a question that will have to wait for an answer till another time.::

::Outside and behind the tent, Delilah and Cameron offer a more personal acknowledgement to Alycia, expressing their happiness to see them. Alycia looks down, and then up.::

Alycia: ...I didnt expect you to be here. But truth be told, Nothing that's happened so far today...was what I expected or wanted. Thank you for helping me to escape. I've got to leave now. I can't be seen here.

:: Cameron asked if she needed an ice pack for her hand.::

No, its okay. I knew how to hold my hand just so when I hit that bloated blowhard.

I just need to get away from here.

:: she sounded like she was irritated, like something she had her heart set on had not at all gone the way she wanted.::

[ Sharon quickly counted and everyone that they started out with was present. no one had been lost! a small victory in the face of a looming nightmare.]

[ After Alycia decks the loud mouth senator, Sharon quickly slaps the intrusive lens of a camera from some tabloidy news mangazine away from her. The last thing she needed was some stupid story about her and Senator Ron Davis, who had something in common in the form of the New York Senate Seat.]

[ Inside the Command Tent, Sharon watched with concern as Alycia coldly regarded Will and Angela. She seemed to exhibit a MAJOR disconnect from the important aspects of past. The woman noticeably blended into the background as Angela offered more information about the attack, Wil Pharma and its nemesis TERRA SAVE.]

[ It was made clear that their involvement HERE was done. It had all been off the record anyway. Sharon had Delilah use her power over light to SCRAMLE cameras that had been fixed on them, while Cameron had telepathically altered the perception of the Six to make them appear like someone else to the naked eyes/minds when they emerged from the terminal. After thanking them for rescuing the survivors, Angela asked them to leave and let HER deal with the rest here and it was clear the woman and those under her command were prepared to do so.]

Good luck, Angela!

[ The Six now had at least ONE possible lead, to contact someone from TERRA SAVE and find out more about what was going on with this bio terror event and if MYSTECH was behind WILPHARMA. ]

Well...we've started with less...

[ she said in a low tone as a few of them turned to ALycia to welcome their friend home. Alycia remained guarded.]

[Sharon's demeanor with Alycia or even Angela was MUCH more understanding than it had been just hours earlier with Haleigh, Delilah and Nicolas.]

Alycia...its alright now. You're among friends.

[ she drew closer to her best friend.]

Alycia: It's NOT that, Sharon. It's just...

It's just that that I need to go...NOW!

Sharon: Well, you can come back to Melrose Place with us....I...

Alycia: I have accomodation. I'm staying at the Roosevelt hotel. We can talk then, okay? Excuse me.

[ and with that, Alycia DEPARTS, heading away from the group. Where she was going or how she'd get there was anyone's guess but just as the woman had suddenly appeared at the airport, she seemed capable of getting where she had to go on her own without asking them for help. Sharon stood there, looking a bit surprised as Alycia had just abruptly left her.]

Something's wrong with her. Something's WEIGHING heavily on her. I heard her heart beat...and her breathing. She's upset.

[Sharon looked down at her armoured hand. ALycia had slipped her a card with her room number. Not entirely sure this was an invitation for the ENTIRE group, Sharon casually closed her hand into a fist. Of course some among them could easily locate Alycia at the Roosevelt but Sharon believed their history and respect for the woman would keep them from NEEDLESSLY prying. There WERE many unanswered questions, but they could be answered soon enough. ]

Well, there's nothing more we can do here and perhaps Alycia will be in better spirits once she's back at her hotel room. We should leave as well. If we're going to find out more about what's going on...we need to do it without prying eyes around us.

Luckily for them Commander Miller had a good head on her shoulders as well as a past history with Alycia (and by extension, the Six). She didn’t try and hide intel from them, as many a government official would have. She gave them the key to uncovering the truth about this situation: TerraSave. But how to make contact with them, now that was another story altogether.

Well...we've started with less...

It was nice for Sharon to suddenly decide she was part of the team.

Delilah destroyed the high-tech and prevalent video surveillance from the airport, and Cameron had taken care of onlookers, so their presence was protected at least for now. The Commander “invited” them to leave quickly and quietly, and Delilah had no problem complying. She stepped forward before she went, extending her hand.

“It was nice working with you, Angela. You seem to have everything running smoothely – that was a nice change of pace for us. [She smiled broadly.] If you ever need anything, please don’t hesitate to call.”

Alycia left abruptly. Something was wrong and Delilah wasn’t sure that it was just a discomfort at being back the way Sharon had felt when she returned to them. This was different, more. But there was nothing they could do at this point other than let her go – for now. She didn’t hide where she was staying, so that was something. They knew where to find her if they needed to. And she knew where to find them as well.

“Hopefully she’s just upset over the days events – that would be understandable. But I agree, Sharon, there’s something…”

She didn’t know how to complete the sentence.

“Shall we all meet back at Melrose Place to come up with a game plan?”

Cameron watched in awe as Alycia was reunited with her former teammates. As he watched, his mind was fluxed with trauma of events that these three endured, things that weighed very heavy on their hearts, so much so that his vision seemed to transpose past with the present, seeing almost holographic images of the people they were during Arklay Mansion and the people they were now, down to the clothes. So much had changed for them, but they all seemed to be doing rather well.
Most noticably different to Cameron was Alycia herself. Though she came off as a cold person, Alycia usually gave off one hell of a psychic impression, to the point that he could almost feel her before she entered the room. She was a force. He didn't doubt that she wasn't that strong a force anymore, but there was something different about her. She was hiding something. She was guarding her thoughts.

A reformed Cameron would never probe Alycia's mind, but Cameron was normally consciously alerted in changes of thought patterns to those he knew on a personal level. Once he identified how they think, when that changed, he knew, as he had spent time telepathically connecting with Alycia when she was kidnapped by Rick Riley, something that seemed like decades ago. He noticed this change as Commander Miller was explaining the current situation on Terra Save and WilPharma, and that's when it clicked. She was connected to them somehow, either WilPharma or Terra Save, and based on this new Alycia he was seeing before him, he didn't know which one. Maybe she had an ace up her sleeve? She definitely knew something they didn't and obviously didn't want to give up the information, and for the moment, Cameron let that go. He had learned a long time ago that Alycia Barnett was going to do what she needed to do in order to survive, and that she was a gallant and trustful woman, and so he did just that for that time being. He trusted her.

Alycia: No, it's okay. I knew how to hold my hand just so when I hit that bloated blowhard.

Sharon: Well, we've started with less...

"Ain't that the truth..."

Sharon tried to calm Alycia down but she seemed to grow increasingly umcomfortable and awkward. Maybe she wasn't ready for a reunion just yet, because based on her body language, she did not want to be next to anyone in or connected to The Six... and then she left.

Sharon: Something's wrong with her. Something's WEIGHING heavily on her her. I heard her heart beat.. and her breathing. She's upset.

Cameron nodded.

Delilah: "Shall we all meet back at Melrose Place to come up with a game plan?"

That sounded like a great idea. He was sweaty, dirty, and felt like the stench of death was seeping out his skin. He wanted a shower and a few moments to gather his ideas about what was going on with Alycia.

"Sounds good to me."

The rescue mission was finally complete. Everyone made their way to the front of the airport terminal just as a swat team of marines stormed in. A little late, but whatever. Maybe they could pick off some stragglers. Everyone headed over to rendezvous with Commander Miller, however despite the fact that they had just saved the senators ass from being zombie food, he decided to STILL berate the team. Lifting her finely shaped eyebrows as Alycia clocked him in the face with enough force to send him flying to the ground, Ava couldn't help but crack a smile.

Meeting up with Commander Miller, Ava folded her arms across her chest casually, listening to everyone converse about what happened, how it happened, and who caused it. Shifting her eyes from one person to another, it was in that moment that she noticed one "rescuee" was gone. Claudia Zacchara. Maybe a zombie snagged her....nah, the six weren't THAT lucky.

The meeting some came to a conclusion with the six knowing a little bit more about what happened than when they came into the mess. Alycia departed quickly and Ava's eyes followed her until she disappeared from view. Something was up with her....but frankly, it was none of her buisness. She and Alycia were never close, plus she had others on the team to worry about what was wrong with her.

Delilah: "Shall we all meet back at Melrose Place to come up with a game plan?"

Cameron: "Sounds good to me."

With a nod.

"Yes...we should leave soon before the media manages to film us."
