As they prepared to leave, Nicolas saw Sharon enter, apparently ready to help now. He was happy inside for THAT at least, but he was very angry with her.
He felt betrayed that she would promise him she would try to be peaceful, then rode with HIM to the drill only to act as if the training meant nothing and she could disrupt it at will. the idea that he was unwilling to stand there for it was a BETRAYAL?! If she was so insecure that he had to bobblehead shake in agreement at whatever she did in order to be around her, then he would do without. And he would tell her about herself when the time came. She was certainly too OLD to act that way. He couldn't do it and dammit, neither could she.
He went silently with them to the staging area, emerging to meet the pretty young lady that took care of the aftermath of Arklay. She was now the head officer and that bode well for them as she did not regard them as the ENEMY. He nodded respectfully to Commander Miller as she re-introduced herself and laid out the scenario. He agreed with the idea and as she mentioned survivors, he scanned the area, mapping an route to them and scanning their conditions. As he did that, he heard a voice that matched what he scanned. Alycia Barnette?
No need to exclaim her name...that was covered by 3 people no less. He smiled as the Commander returned to Sharon the Golden Desert Eagles Alycia once wielded. Now was time for planning and Haleigh was in high hear even as Ava placed a chill in the air, enough to make the zombies a bit more sluggish in their movements. He spoke once, to Haleigh.
The building no longer has entrances or exits save the one we will use. The door to the trapped people's enclosure is reinforced and I can be there at the hatch opening it into the building unnoticed in 3 seconds.
