** Howling winds screamed throughout the cavern making a chill run up Foxfire's spine. She knew Morgan was coming. Being violently thrown backwards by a fierce new wind power Spellbinder possessed, Blaze tumbled down to the ground roughly. Her body immediately ached and throbbed with pain. Dust splattering everywhere from the commotion. Peering up, Blaze saw Alexis and Erika being targeted, it made sense after all. Wincing to get up when one of the demons came barreling through her, clothes lining her to the ground. **

"Argh!"

** She felt another wave of pain hit through her body. Coughing from the lack of air now, she yanked her magnum from the hidden form of her boot. Lifting up the metallic gun, Blaze pulled the trigger, allowing the silver magnesium bullet lunged into the air. It immediately sunk into the demon's right eye, making an exit wound out, leaving the demon to collapse on the ground in a heap. Blowing the smoke from her gun, she got up to see Morgan continuing her attack. Luckily however Ororo came in the nick of time, teleporting them to higher ground, to safety. Tucking the gun neatly by the rim of her pants, she folded her arms across her chest overhearing Ororo's comment. **

"What are we supposed to do Ororo? I can't just stand by and WAIT, Morgan is my sister! If you two are going, I am as well. I have a higher stake in this like the both of you."

:: Cameron could only lower his head and deeply sigh at what was going on in front of him. The whole thing was so unlike Erika, but yet again. At least she was doing something. As the group was Teleported to higher ground he heard Blaze go all melodramatic and he had to take a stand ::

"Blaze! For once, cut the dramatics! The thing down there is no longer your sister! If you couldn't tell, she has shed her demonic form! There is no humanity left in her, and if you think your bond in blood is going to protect you, then you are stupid. Stay up here! I don't want anyone else to get hurt!"

:: It was weird being in this situation because it was usually Cameron who was acting out of control and trying everything he could to get the group in even more trouble. A few months ago, Prophet himself would have ran after Spellbinder, but he was learning through experience and what he saw in his vision was more than enough to let him know that he would have to tread lightly in this caper, if he wanted to survive it afterwards. ::

"Now ALL of you! Cool your egos for one second and let the women who have brought us here and kept us alive throughout this journey step forward! We owe it to them for once to keep our mouths out of this!"

:: The Statement shocked even Cameron. He wasn't used to doing the big monologue statements of concern and protection. That was usually Alison's job and it was something he always hated hearing. But these people would die if they didn't listen to Ororo and Karen and just when they were this close to being united, it wasn't worth the risk ::

::through all of this....this scene out of HELL....the group failed to notice something...GUARDIAN had DISAPPEARED! she was noo where to be found and she hadnt said a word. Where she was...was anyone's guess but now....at this point where it seemed all hope was lost....her dissappearence would not help anyone to feel better about this situation.::

::would she return...did she just give up and abandon the group at the last minute?::

::the group was now left to themselves....as Karen and Ororo stood together...and waited. their backs facing the group...they could be seen..taking each other's hand in support and standing united..as the wave of evil came rumbling through the cave toward them::

:: Cameron was the first to notice Alison missing as just when he was talking about the Three Women standing forward, he noticed that Alison was not among them. He felt petrified. Was she hurt? Did the Demons get to her? Was she lost under fallen debris? His mind was racing ::

"Wait a minute?! Where is Alison? What if she is hurt? We need to find her! Somebody does! Ororo! Karen! Do you know where she is? If not one of us needs to get back down there and find her!"

:: Turning back around to the group, everyone could tell that he was worried. He couldn't even mind scan for her, her PSI Screen would not allow him to detect the Time Mage. He felt helpless and was getting a tad bit angry ::

"Well! Where the Hell is She?"

catch the light

::prophet's anquished querry would fall on deaf ears as the plateau and all the area around and above it began to take on a dream state appearence....a myst rises and gives way to a thick fog that hangs firmly all around them...making vision more than a foot in front of them impossible::

Ororo: stand fast Karen......we must not waiver now in our resolve to restore Morgan to herself. The rest of her team have done all they were meant to do and any further infererence from them...would make it worse. Shockwave's foolish power play escalated Morgan's actions to a frenzy berserker level that I had hoped she would not reach.

:: Ororo brings forth the orb that she used to intimidate spellbinder with back in Limbo::

we have this. Morgan's brightest, most powerful piece of her soul. preserved thanks to one of the first spells i taught her. This is our most harrowing campaign yet...and we may not survive...but we HAVE to try.

This isnt about out powering her. We just have to use this space around us long enough to set her up for me to throw the orb at her and allow it to its work.

Let us pray that we have the power to hold her at bay long enough....

::Ororo directed Karen to take her position. She was a tactician when she lead the X-men years ago and it showed time and again...including now..as she too hid from view::

** Overhearing Prophet's new accusations sense a fresh wave of anger through Blaze. Bolting to her feet, she looked about ready to rip his throat out. Clenching her fists together, she had to forcefully bit her tongue. Trying to calm her tone, she explained herself in a more collected manner. Another surprising step for Foxfire from having an explosive temper. **

"Cameron...its sweet your looking out for me, it means a lot to me. However I prefer action and helping to help get my sister back than just sit up here. I have a higher level of energy than most besides Alexis. I would hope you..of all people would understand what its like to lose a sister....and for the record my dear, I'm never dramatic. I happen to be passionate about my beliefs, so please...don't accuse me of a hypothesis you believe, because its not true."

** Turning her back to Cameron, Blaze walked away a few feet to isolate herself. No one seemed to understand only perhaps those close to Morgan. Prophet was close to getting fried up like KFC chicken, but Blaze knew she needed him as did the group. And he did offer somewhat strength and support to her. However, with her temper and adrenaline rushing, it wasn't the brightest idea to hit buttons on the mutant. Resting her back against the wall, she watched Ororo and Karen prepare for their task at hand. Secretly, she wished she could help, she wasn't used to sitting around and waiting. **

** Prophet's worried done woke her attention. Looking around for Guardian, Blaze frowned. She was so caught up in the battle she hadn't paid attention like how she usually would. But she knew Alison somewhat and usually when she disappeared, it was her own doing. Glancing over to Prophet, Blaze raised a brow. **

"Being dramatic or just worried? Looks like you've lost a sister as well....we're two peas in a pod Cameron."

<<Spellbinder bursts onto the scene...as thunder violently cracks and booms in the air....and chimes linger>>

<< completely covered in armour and now possessing a more demonic ,yet still feminine stature, Spellbinder's glowing red eyes glare from the eye slit of the face plate of the armour....as she looks around slowly ...her soul sword flaming silver with its mystic energies flaring....she looks like a terrifying serial killer stalking her prey....as she looks around the plateau that over looks the city from high above. the Six are VISUALLY shieled by Ororo's fog....but one sound...one word ....and its over>>

I know you're all in here. You cannot hide from me. I will find you and destroy ALL of you. NO ONE is going to stand in the way of my goal of destroying the city. Prophet...YOU will share the fate of your sister ERIKA!!!

<< thunder rolls in the air.....which is thick with cold evil>>

<<her armour gleams and sparkles..but there are some scorch marks in several places... reminders of the fire fight she had with Shockwave>>

** Foxfire stopped when she overhead her sister's threatening comments. Her tone was so unholy and brutal, Blaze could FEEL the emotion, the rage from within. All the tiny hairs on her body stood on edge, for once in her life, Blaze was terrified of her sister...even though this being wasn't her "sister" but a host of somesort to rage and vengeance. **

** Holding her breath, Blaze didn't DARE breath. Her eyes moved onto Ororo and Karen. It now fit together like a puzzle, they were protecting the Six. Morgan would target them first. Prophet and Erika were at the top of the list, that was a no brainer. Morgan had always disrespected them. She wasn't sure what to do now. Both, Karen and Ororo had their backs to the group, so Foxfire couldn't read them. Biting down on her lower lip nervously, Blaze's palms started to sweat. She could hear the own racing rhythm of her heartbeat. She felt like a fly trapped in a spiders web and now that Alpha spider came to collect. **

** Even the air around them got colder and harder to breath, like they were sitting on the moon. Each of the Six unleashed something deadly, they opened....pandoria's box. And now, they had to suffer for the consequences. **

:: Alexis remained kneeling on the ground after Ororo had healed her...taking time to rest her body, she allowed her eyes to roam around the general area, looking from one person to another. Everyone was on edge, especially now that Morgan had gone completely mad. Mainly because of Shock's attack....Taking a breath in, Alexis closed her eyes for a brief moment. The sounds of Cameron's anguish about Alison dissapearing, and Blaze's resistance to yell at Cameron faded away. The minutes passed like hours...which in the end was benifitial because when Alexis reopened her eyes, she felt recharged. Noticing the dense fog that had surrounded The Six, she pushed herself up and stood...now looking towards Ororo and Karen. She could still somewhat make out their figures through the fog....but those were the only figures she could make out. She couldn't see Blaze or Cameron. Everything around here was an eerie white. About to call out to Cameron and Blaze, Alexis bit her tongue hearing Spellbinder's roaring voice. Holding her breath, another figure appeared by Ororo and Karen...that of Spellbinder. Keeping quiet, she knew Ororo and Karen were masking the others from Spellbinder, because ultimately, they would be the ones to restore her....Alexis didn't make a single move---a scratch, a scuffle, anything, would draw Morgan's attention to her location. The meta human just waited...::

:: Prophet could only slightly roll his eyes at Heather. Alison missing was completely missing. Alison also hadn't kidnapped the baby form of Cameron King to use to gap the bridge between a demonic dimension and Earth and caused mass chaos in New York City, responsible for the deaths of thousands of people. Alison had just simply gone missing. And besides, Alison was still human as it was now extremely clear that Morgan was not. ::

"What it's like to lose a sister Blaze? I Have my memory back you know? I have lost one if you couldn't tell. Her name is Alison? You know the sister who used to denounce everything I stood for? And what about Erika the one who kept hidden from me more more than 20 years?! So if you want to play the SISTER card Foxfire.. I believe I win that round!"

:: He was still extremely worried about both of his sisters. Erika was looking extremely weak and meager after her battle with the Soul Sword. No. That wasn't the word. She looked as if she was going to die. Erika was pretty much out for the count. Cameron had to do something if he even wanted to try to keep his sister alive. Cameron knelt down and held his sister's hand. His efforts were thwarted when he heard the less than friendly voice of everyone's favorite resident psychopath, Morgan Victoria, calling Cameron out specifically. Normally he would have brought her right to the group, but this time he was going to play it smart, making himself seem invisible, as if he didn't exist. He held on tight to his sister's hand ::

** Ignoring the thought of burning Prophet to a crisp, she turned to see the group becoming more invisible within the cover of the fog. It was for the best in more ways than just one. Prophet's comment unnerved her but she did her best to subdue her temper. He wasn't worth it...he was just worried about his sisters. So instead, Blaze let it go, a choice she normally wouldn't easily give up. **

** With the added fog, visibility became much harder. This could either be a blessing or the worst downfall made by Ororo. A wave of anxiety hit Blaze immediately but it wasn't from herself. Inhaling the various scents of ash, smoke, dust, dirt, and perfume, Fox locked the scent onto Shockwave. Shutting her eyes, Blaze's eyes clouded over to a dull metallic dint, allowing her to see the body heat of those around her. Locating Shockwave, Blaze flamed behind her. A smirk ran over her lips when she ran her hand over Shockwave's mouth, covering it and pulling her back into Blaze. **

** Nodding to Alexis, Blaze pulled her hand away. Motioning with her hands to signal both Prophet and Erika were nearby. Releasing Shockwave from her, Blaze's unique eyes stared straight ahead, watching the scene before her. She saw how Morgan looked in her battle armor and noting the soul sword. She was beautiful yet frightening all in one twist. Wrapping her arm protectively around Alexis' waist without realizing it. Blaze prepared for the final showdown, and she knew Ororo and Karen would risk their lives for them. **

** Foxfire sensed the air change again, the stiffness of a mighty storm about to ravage the safety of their domain. There was about to be a fight. **

:: Alexis felt a hand slip over her mouth as she was pulled back. A muffled gasp could be heard as her eyes widdened....She couldn't see who it was, it could of been one of Spellbinder's minions, or something else. But as she was released, she turned to see Foxfire standing behind her. Slapping Foxfire's upper arm, a pissed off expression could be seen on the meta human's face. As she mouthed the words "What are you doing?!" Alexis rolled her eyes before diverting her attention to the direction Foxfire was pointing to. Realizing she was indicating that Cameron and Erika were over there, she simply nodded before looking back at Spellbinder, Ororo, and Karen. The fog seemed to grow more dense, as the woman soon became nothing more then shadows in the distance. Staying quiet...the situation was growing even more intense. Foxfire obviously felt the same was as she soon slipped her arm around Lexi's waist, holding tightly onto it. Looking to Blaze, she just let it go---there was no point in fighting about their sexuality now, especially when a fight was brewing. Looking back towards the three woman, all they could do was wait. ::

<< Spellbinder whipped her head around..her glowing red eyes shining through the fog..she heard the voice and the commotion.....but there was no way to tell her facial expression because of the face plate.....she began moving in the direction of the noise....holding her sword out a bit...as she searched>>

I know you're here. come out...come out where ever you areeeee

<<stepping on the skull of a dead human being...crushing it under her foot as she laughs softly. Karen and Ororo were no longer in sight..they had taken their positions strategic....as Spellbinder moved cautiously through the dense fog>>

<< as she drew nearer to the group, the din of the flames from the sword could be heard.........>>

Prophet....the same bloodline that links you to your sister..gives you access to her magickal signature even if it is on a minimal level...and that is why i just have to say........TAG YOURE IT!

<< raising the soul sword high....as she brings it crashing down...intending to split cameron in TWO....the thunder BANGS so loud it seems that the plateau shakes to the core as cold air begins to blue the fog back.....the fog does not dissipate quickly at all...as it is almost "stubborn".....but nevertheless Morgan has found her prey>>

:: Cameron had forgotten that ever since he had been embraced into the Magickal Lineage of the King Family that he was now linked to a magickal signature whether he liked to believe it or not. His psychic sense was tingling with anticipation and a feeling of dread. Though the fog did not dissipate, Cameron was able to feel the rush of air towards his body as he fell to the ground and rolled to the left, missing the blade of the Soul Sword. Though he was sure that Spellbinder was acting extremely fast and in charge, Prophet was augmenting his power of premonition that was allowing him to somewhat sense attacks before they hit him (Think Phoebe on Charmed). He had been found ::

"Jesus Christ, Morgan! How many alternate versions of me are you planning to kill?"

:: He knew he couldn't fight the Sorceress. He would lose. She was no longer human and she would not fall prey to his telepathic and not likely his telekinetic abilities. It would simply be a battle of him dodging her. He then had an idea. Cameron quickly whispered to Blaze ::

"I am about to do something that might tingle a little bit but I am going to need some ammunition.."

:: Prophet pushed himself into her mind as he began scanning through her mental signatures, her mental abilities, and all memories of her powers. He was looking for the trigger of her mutation. If he could channel that into him it would allow them to share the mutation and as long as the link was open, he could "share" Blaze's power with her. Scanning through, he found the trigger which was rage and the mental process that she went through to attain her power. He locked onto it and linked it with his own. Prophet was now sharing Blaze's power with her. It was very invasive and something that he would almost never do as sometimes the remains of the psi signature stayed in the body for days. He apologized to Blaze ::

"Sorry, Blaze.. but I got to get through this.. for OUR sisters..."

:: Since the Fog was extremely dense and thick, Cameron projected two astral projections out of himself as they solidified in different areas around Morgan. Though they were mere astral forms, they would carry the same magickal signature and Morgan would not be able to easily discern which was the real Cameron. One of his forms talked as Prophet used his powers from Blaze to propel himself into the air much like a rocket and to another location that was different than before. ::

"Okay Morgan.. you want to play.. you have to find me first.. thanks for evening the playing field, by the way!"

:: Holding her breath....Morgan was on the prowl. Watching her shadowy figure make it's way deeper into the fog, she actually passed very closely to both herself and Blaze...but didn't realize they were there. Letting out a very soft sigh of relief, Alexis listened carefully to Morgan's voice--watching her shadow head towards Cameron. Her tone was so evil, like she never had a soul to begin with. Keeping quiet...Alexis continued to listen. Morgan's stiletto healed boots clicked very slowly--almost as if she was teasing Cameron. But soon....all bets were off. As Morgan spoke, Alexis realized that she had found Cameron. ::

:: Her eyes widdened anticipating the blow from the sword into Cameron's flesh...but all she heard was the hard metal hit the concrete ground. Staying still, she wasn't going to compromise hers and Blaze's position...she just waited and listened. Hearing the commotion...she only hoped Cameron was able to hold Morgan off while Karen and Ororo continued their plan to take Morgan down. ::

** Blaze continued to protectively shield Shockwave from any sort of movement. However once Spellbinder targeted Prophet, Foxfire knew she had to do something. Without much notice, Blaze felt her body tingle with odd sensations. Blinking her eyes, she felt rather out of body. Gripping more firmly onto Shockwave for balance, Blaze slowly leaned into her shoulder resting her chin there. Shaking her head from what Prophet was doing, she knew it was for the best and therefore didn't object. But she did repeat what the mutant said to herself out loud. **

"Sorry, Blaze.. but I got to get through this.. for OUR sisters..."

** Foxfire had to help Prophet besides giving him a boost. Turning to Shockwave, she nodded to her. Flaming away from the Meta Human. Blaze walked out of the fog towards the armored Spellbinder, calling her out. **

"MORGAN! Don't waste your time with Parfait! Play with MEEEEEEEEE!!"

** Her eyes brightening into a dark red tint much like her sisters. Inviting her into a battle with herself. **

"I know you won't turn down a challenge and I haven't forgotten about that sucker punch. Dad did always like me BETTER! You didn't have the guts....show it to me NOW!!"

<< the sword smashed the ground it hit....leaving scorch marks and flickering flame in its wake....as Spellbinder immediately swung the sword side ways...LOPPING OFF one of the heads of the clones/imposters of Prophet>>

You cannot escape me, worm. I shall have your head as my center piece....when i dine on your SOUL

<< the fog began to wane....as an eerie chime played in the air...the skies were now black. it was night time once more...and the red moon hung low. the plateau over looked an enchanted NYC skyline that was ancient looking, stone, demonic....and the lights that once eminated from office windows were now glowing eyes of demonic faces on the building...all smiling in anticipation>>

<< the perimeter of the platform itself now came to life with a glowing , cascading trial of silver mystic flame..that licked inward toward anyone who came too close to its borders...>>

<<Spellbinder wasted no time....now seeing ALL of the "camerons">>

you forget boy...that i have a spell that allows me to SUPERCEED your mental defenses..and control YOUR BODY with magick and YOU cannot stop yourself from obeying my every whim.

<< she held her armoured hand outward....as a dark violet halo formed around it>>

the real cameron will STEP FORWARD and stand still!

<< she seized hold of Cameron just as Belasco had done with Shadowcat when he made her surrender her weapons...before transforming her>>

<<turning slightly...and seeing blaze, Morgan continued to control Cameron and compell him to come forward.>>

STAY BACK child....or you will suffer the consequences!

"Great.."

:: Alexis heard Blaze calling for Morgan...trying to divert her attention away from Cameron to herself. And she was lecturing HER on putting her life on the line? Shaking her head...Alexis had to do it--otherwise Blaze was as good as dead. Morgan wasn't going to spare her sister, and deep down Blaze knew that. Lifting her hand up, Alexis locked onto Blaze's energy signal. Each person had a different, unique signal that made them different from everyone else. Running towards Blaze, Alexis leaped into the air and tackled Blaze to the ground. Rolling to a stop, Alexis was ontop of Blaze and forcefully grabed ahold of her face. Little lines began to form on Foxfire's face, traveling into Alexis' skin. She was sucking Fox's life energy....::

"I'm sorry.."

:: Shockwave whispered as her eyes turned a stark white. Keeping her hands placed firmly on Foxfire's face...Alexis waited until Blaze was weak enough to the point where she couldn't get up, but completely concious and aware of everything that was going on. Climbing off of Blaze, Alexis' eyes flashed the same blood red color that Foxfire's were those few minutes ago. Turning to Spellbinder, the fog hid her body...but she could "feel" where the sorceress was. Stopping, she kept quiet. ::

:: As the fog CONVENIENTLEY faded away just as he had set forward a plan of action he now found himself at the whim of Spellbinder who was commanding his real form to come forward. He raised every mental shield that he could to try and stop the mental command from coming from fruition but he slowly began to step forward. But Morgan knew very well that Cameron was an arrogant asshole and he was not just going to bow down to her. He instantly connected with his other astral forms as they now acted as one and as Cameron stepped forward, so did the rest of his astral forms. He winked at the Sorceress ::

"Birds of a Feather flock together, dearest Morgan! If you want to kill me so bad why don't you just use the infant form of me you have cooped up at the top of this thing. Lord knows your FATHER wouldn't have trouble doing something and now that I look at you, you are becoming more and more like him every day. Seriously, what would your Mother think? Is your quest for revenge so great as to MURDER a child and his counterpart?"

:: Prophet knew that Morgan would be enraged by this but he also was not sure as to how she would react to this because she had shed her human form. She didn't have humanity, but she still had the most basic of emotions, for if not, she would not be able to feel rage, she wouldn't feel as much hatred for Cameron as she did now. Demon or Not, Cameron ALWAYS had a way of getting to people, especially Morgan. If he could take her attention off of the others and keep it solely on himself, the others would have a chance to battle her down or keep her at Bay. In a defensive move he threw his fists up mimicing a middle block as waves of flame crept up from the floor right underneath the Sorceress and caught on her hair, the only tangible thing that was shown on her body. He figured that her armor would be protected against temperatures so he had to play on what he could figure out ::

OOC: I HAD to post this here But brandon Brandon in the cave when Spell changed forms, i noted that she LOST her hair in the process as well. Spell doesnt have any "hair" she is completely covered im armour including her face and head dress...and only her silver horns that come out from the headdress...but no hair...no face....just her glowing red eyes. Sorry if there was a lack of clarity
-------------------

BIC: << black lightning bolts struck down at Cameron from all sides....intending to startle more than actually HIT him as Spellbinder continued to hold sway over him.>>

BE SILENT! do not utter another word Cameron King. you will not use your powers any more. dismiss ALL your astral forms and KNEEL BEFORE ME!

<< she ignored his remarks as she continued to control him with her mind control spell.>>

<<time was growing short for cameron's life. that much was plain to see. But where were Karen and Ororo!?>>
