<<following the hard won victory over Black and the destruction of his dark energy dome. Ororo and Karen risk their lives to force back Spellbinder's deadly destructive shriving spell on Illustra...they BARELY succeed as Spellbinder abruptly haults her assault. Erika, Guardian and Prophet grew a bit closer...and along with Shockwave and Foxfire...the remainder of the Six marshall their forces once more...and prepare to entire Spellbinder's twisted domain....ground zero of the Inferno....the empire state building>>

<< escaping the now broken tower of Illustra....as the group arrives outside, the badly battered building comes crashing down....the agony of broken metal grinding and snapping contrasts with the sounds of human screams whispering in the wind...as the night sky blankets the beseiged city under the haunting light of a full blood red moon>>

<< the ground shakes...and after the chaos settles and the cloud of dust and debris drifts past the group of the six....they see now the remains of Morgan's rampage and her attempt to destroy them all. they have to realize that she will not hesitate to try again when they reach her at the top of the empire state building>>

:: Reaching ground level of Illustra, Alexis followed the others out into the war land that was once known as New York City. Shifting her dull blue eyes around, a look of sadness could be seen on Alexis face--the same sadness seen when New York was destroyed the first time. This was Alexis' home, has been for years. And she hated to see it in such disarray. Moving her eyes from side to side as she looked toward the now rumbling ground...what the hell was going on? But soon, the answer to her question was apparent. Hearing the horrible sounds of beams breaking, the meta human turned around only to see Illustra, topple to the ground. Squinting her eyes to keep the dry dust from coating her moist orbs, she couldn't believe Morgan had destroyed her own pride and joy....The whole scene alone looked like an exact replica of the 9/11 attacks--only this time the terrorist was their own teammate. Taking a deep breath in, Alexis turned away from the rubble and took a moment to take a deep breath before proceeding to make her way toward the Empire State Building. ::

"What exactly are we going to do when we get there....knock on the door and hope she doesn't blow our heads off? Morgan is unstable, obviously. We can't just show up without a plan."

** Opening her pale green eyes, Foxfire was utterly exhausted from the usage of her massive power source. Climbing to her feet while small wounds automatically healed. A fierce intimidating glare was clearly visible from her normally beautiful eyes. Dusting herself off, the mutant seemed upset but remained quiet. A heavy sigh sneaking out from her lips. **

** The others in the room came into view with Blaze glancing at each of them. Her passionate eyes stopped directly on Karen. Fox's demeanor resembled anger and hatred but for a mother like Karen, she would be able to tell behind Blaze's facade. Looking away, she gathered any small amount of energy she possessed exactly when Ororo exited them out and out of the building. **

** Once outside, Blaze saw the shadows mingling together as the building known to most as Illustra toppled. Fox showed no emotional signs, she waved the dust and debris away quickly. Blinking her eyes, she turned to glance upon the blood red moon. How ironic, its said if the moon is "red" its the end of the world. It already was. Turning away, she followed the others towards the Empire State building. Quietly thinking to herself. **

So Morgan is this what you so richly desired? Destruction and carnage including your own building. I remember when your enemies labeled you a monster, I never believed them...until today and this night.

** Fox knew her sister wouldn't acknowledge her, it was more of a personal rant than anything. She was still in shock...adjusting to this new Morgan. She hoped in the end, she would get her sister back. Blaze seemed to be in a deep thinking mood while the others discussed the situation. Closing her eyes for a moment, a stern focus enveloped her. Blaze needed time to calm down, she was still on that euphoria from her power source. Opening her eyes, she peered up at the ESB. Soon, she would be reunited with Morgan but it wouldn't exactly be the Brady Bunch reunion. **

::Guardian watches as the tower comes down....its an agonizing sound of stone, metal and hard work being destroyed...not to mention an object lesson of how far Morgan would go to destroy those whom she apparently hates::

::Alison knows the worst is yet to come....and what SHE will have to do. She never imagined herself being in this position...reaching out to her siblings again after more than a decade of making sure they couldnt find her. but even a Seer knows that the strands of fate intertwine at the most unexpected hour::

::Having heard Prophets words...Alison looked upon him with a cooler, less hostile glare than in times past. for all of his insufferable, infuriating ways, he was still a human being....and more importantly her brother....perhaps there wouldnt be so much harm in giving him a little space....and allowing for time to know him AFTER this hell was sent back to its rightfull realm::

Morgan is too busy to care about where we ARE at this moment. She believes she has broken the group's spirit....having gained the hard won victory against Ororo and Karen during their tremendous firefight. She is preparing to seal the fate of the city and the country.

She has magickal detection as one of her basic powers, she will sense any sudden arrival of strike so we need to make our way on foot to the Empire state building. Karen, Ororo and I can get us up to the top from the OUTSIDE of the building.

The top of the empire state building

<< high above the new realm of hell, in the now demonic, gothic empire state building's summit. Spellbinder moves about her business on the plateau of power...silver mystic flames cascade along the perimeter of the plateau.....as a sparkling myst slowly swirls around......the glowing eyes and gleaming grins of demons can be seen in the shadows far back within the covered areas of the plateau.>>

<< as thunder rumbles through the air and within the billowing clouds, Morgan's high heels click along the ancient stone floors>>

all is nearly ready..the stage is set. the alter is primed and facing the north....where the barrier between earth and limbo is at its weakest. dark magick over runs the city and the world of mortals is near its end as demons have taken over this city and begin their march outward!

in an act that will destroy the hearts and souls of any of the six who have survived as well as satisfy my demand for vengeance....i shall bridge the gap with the blood of Cameron King....NOT his present day self...but that of the child...who is filled with innocence. my sleeping spell has kept him locked in a deep slumber, blissfully unaware of the grim fate that awaits him.

<< turning on her heel as she sweeps her cape behind her....Spellbinder points to the shadows behind her and far back>>

bring the child forward......and place him on the alter!! my magicks bind his physical body to my will....preventing any possible movement..even when he is awakended![/i

<<two large, horned, winged demons with impressive physiques quickly come forward....with a very young boy who is slumbering. he is wrapped in a blanket and carried in the arms of one of the demons as they quickly move past their mistress and place him on the alter>>

BLACK should be returning any moment...Alison's TRUE FREEZE rended him totally inert...turning him into a statue. I didnt bother to revive him....why should I when he couldnt even DESTROY that group of interfering insects!!

<< smaller demons giggled and laughed....as Spellbinder ridiculed Black, the alpha demon of Limbo>>

but no matter, they were badly hurt...and Illustra was destroyed, not even Karen and Ororo could stop my plan from carrying ahead.

<< as Morgan manifests her darkhold and a crystaline dagger with unholy inscriptions on the blade, she makes her way toward the alter to begin the incantation. thunder blasts through the air as black lightning begins to flashe and radiate in the skies all around town....a sign that there is increased activity at ground zero of the Inferno>>

a problem

<< dusting off her elegant black flying suit....her cape flows a bit from the forced all from the fallen tower....she looks upon the grim scenery with a heavy heart. knowing that she and ororo nearly DIED trying to stop Spellbinder from destroying the building and The Six....she realizes how far gone her daughter must be.....blaming Cameron and Haleigh wouldnt fix things now. She felt in her heart that the power of a mother's love would be what made the difference at an hour most dire. she didnt realize how RIGHT she would be.>>

<< leaving the fallen wreckage of Illustra and the relatively QUIET surrouning area walking along with the group, she nods as they set up a tenative plan on getting to the top of the empire state building...knowing that once up there....even the best laid plan could go awry with the way Morgan might escalate her actions. Karen turns as she feels a tug on her cape, turning ..she gasps with shock as she sees what is responsible>>

a female mannequinn from Bloomingdales department store: Bodies for us....flesh is life!

<< the mannequin walks with an odd, stiff gate...as it quickly lumbers toward Karen...attempting to switch places with her....taking her body and placing her soul into the mannequin's body>>

GET BACK!!

<< a halo of golden energy forms around Karen's hand as she forcibly slaps the head of the manequinn with her right hand...before firing a force bolt with her left hand at the chest of the mannequin....causing its head to spin...as it catches on fire and staggers back...falling to the ground.. its legs and arms still moving!>>

a MANEQUINN!?

<< soon....ALL of the Six found themselves surrounded by Manequinns of various sizes and gender....closing in on them en masse and all chanting>>

Manequinns: Bodies for us!......flesh is life!

<< The group also noted that they were now hemmed in an ALLEY way...with large buildings all around them....the faces on the buildings grinning with wicked delight as the army of maneqinns>>

"Okay these things just upped the creep factor majorly..."

:: Shaking her head, Alexis watched as the one closest to her continued to hobble in her direction. Waving her hand in a circular motion, an ora of energy surrounded the manequinn stopping it dead in it's tracks. The manequinn continued to bump into the ora of energy, trying desperatly to reach Alexis until, with one last wave of her fingers, the ora began to glow a brilliant white and imploded. The energy absorbed into the stuffed "creature" and after a few seconds, Alexis manipulated the energy to explode violently within it, and soon the manequinn was nothing but fluff blowing in the wind. ::

"What next, dancing telephone poles?"

** A quick cackle escaped Foxfire's lips at the sight of the mannequin's surrounding each of them. She found it humorous in a sick deluded way. **

"It humors me!"

** Blaze continued to laugh raising her hand to conjure a blast of lava but sadly found that option to no avail. "Damn." She said softly, stepping back a foot to gain some extra footage. Her fire power was exhausted, the mutant would have to rely on her other powers and skills until her power was recharged. A sinister grin caught her attention which was mirrored off the buildings around them. **

"This is...." **kicks a mannequin in the jaw roughly** "so....fucked up!"

** Out of the whole group, Fox had such a morbid sense of humor. Winking playfully at one of the buildings until striking the other mannequin in the "stomach." Reaching for her beaded karma bracelet, Blaze roughly yanked it from her wrist, pulling it off. The bracelet was secretly a weapon...disguised as a piece of jewelry. Folding out the beads, the necklace extended into a metallic noose. Somersaulting over the piece of mannequin, she quickly positioned the weapon around its throat, tugging until its head popped off. **

"Heads are gonna roll now..." (LOL! Sorry, A hyper moment. )

** Either Blaze was having too much fun or she was psychotic, probably a little bit of both. Her lips smoothed over into a serious look. Sliding her elbow into the nearest one, making it stumble back into the second one. Reaching forward, Blaze gripped onto its arm accidentally ripping it from the body. Holding up the arm, Blaze raised a brow, "whoops." The arm wrapped its fingertips around Blaze's throat, strangling her. Stretching her hand down to the front end of her jeans, she pulled out her sais. In one drastic attempt, Blaze cut the blade across the mannequin's "wrist," making the "arm" drop to the ground. The hand scampered over the pavement with Blaze gasping for air, "did..." ** Gasps** " I mention, this is fucked up?" Tossing her sais down to pin the hand down to the pavement, "stay there Thing!" She ordered walking over to stomp her boot down onto it. The tip of her hidden blade driving into the piece of alive plastic and wood until it stopped moving. **

" This is like Resident Evil Meets Mannequin."

:: As they made their way outside of Illustra just in time to watch it crumble to the ground, Cameron had his sister in tow as she seemed to be recovering much faster now that her magicks were up and running again. She was definitely a trooper. The calmness was soon interrupted when a horde of Mannequins began to walk at the the group much like Night of the Living Dead. Things just weren't going to calm down. Especially when walking and talking models of real people began to try and take their flesh. Prophet sighed ::

"You have got to be kidding me..."

:: A few male mannequins began to make their way towards Cameron, dressed in outfits from places like Gucci and Versace as well as one that he could tell was from some lesser store like Macy's or JC Penny. He laughed as he turned towards them ::

"Well at least two out of the three of you have good taste!"

:: Prophet looked at the debris of Illustra as he began to concentrate on some of the metal supports that were now piled into debris. Suddenly the mass of debris and dust began to shake as Cameron telekinetically pulled two large jagged metal pieces from the rubble as they flew directly into the head and stomach of the first Mannequin seemingly enveloped in a swirling electric blue energy and straight into the next two before pinning them neatly on one of the alley walls that they were now surrounded in. He didn't know if he could actually kill them since they had no vital organs but it would at least pin them down and away from Cameron ::

"Back to the Racks for All of You!"

< Erika now found herself in front of the now toppled Illustra. It was almost symbolic. Like Illustra was a representation of Morgan Victoria, who was now the deadly and violent Spellbinder. She was slowly feeling better as she could feel her healing magicks course throughout her body. As the living dolls began to swarm her and chanting about wanting her skin, Erika had to let out a deep sigh and roll her eyes. >

"Mannequins? Of course? What else would possibly want to attack us? Not demons, not mutants, but walking and talking Mannequins!"

< Focusing now on the horde of Blonde Bimbettes walking almost in a zombie like way towards her she began to hone in on the water molecules in the air. She began to make it extremely cold, until she felt it was actually sub zero. She drew the freezing water Molecules into her hand as now sitting on top of her palm was a seemingly cloud of bright blue haze as she winked at them mockingly. >

"You doped out broads need to take a chill pill.. There is no way I am letting my skin be worn by a blonde! This woman is ALL Brunette!"

< She blew the cloud of water molecules out at the mannequins which in turn heated them up and caused them to expand as the cloud grew as it swept past the mannequins encasing them in an icy tomb, locking them in the exact stance they were before freezing (Think Prue in Pardon My Past). Jetting forward she jumped high in the air and extended her left foot executing a powerful front kick to the center of the ice which shattered it everywhere, sending shards of Ice into other mannequins and to some Members of the Six as well. >

::Ororo too found herself faced with the onslaught of enchanted mannequins....as some came lumbering toward her with arms outstretched::

Mannequins: Bodies for us!!! Flesh is life!

::Ororo looked round::

Ororo: the alley hems us in! and there seems to be an ARMY of these mannequins closing in!

:: shielding her own deep seeding FEAR of enclosed spaces and standing tall and moving with grace, Ororo's white goddess dress and blue robe flows as winds rise. Loud erruptions of thunder are heard as She BLASTS two of the closest reaching mannequins with pure white lightning....their bodies blowing apart at their connective joins and falling to the ground::

Ororo: RISE winds...and divert our enemy from their PATH!!

:: stretching her arms out and forward...as her hands strike a pose and green halos around them....and a horizontal funnel of air whips into view....furiously turning the mannequins every which way and blowing them back as if they were helpless bowling pins::

::their haunting, whispering chant seems washed away by the winds for the moment....as Ororo steps forward.::

let us leave this place.........before...

:: a sickening CRACK is heard..as a hockey stick SMACKS Ororo in the side of the head with SUCH FORCE...and a large shadow can be seen looming over her::

good work everyone....lets get out of here....before....

:: of them all, only Guardian seemed to escape the attention of the mannequins. she was off to the side of the group...but before she could act, Ororo swept away the ENTIRE army with a powerful vortex of wind. a reminded that while the woman was older than everyone here, her experience and power were FAR from lacking..but even so, the Mannequins were not quite finished with them yet. as a LARGER male mannequin SMACKED Ororo HARD in the side of her head with a hockey stick::

ORORO!!!!!

::she stopped in her tracks...as the sound of parts snapping together could be heard...and the whisper of haunting voices could be heard as well....shadows seemed to lengthen as the mannequins returned....many of them now MIXED AND MATCHED in their parts....discombobulated in all sorts of ways like they had been deliberately put together this way on the assembly line...while NEW mannequins arrived. some wearing roller skates and weilding hockey equipment, while others came weilding hunting and armory....they seemed to move FASTER and more coordinated....some surrounded Ororo ....as they attempted to steal her body and take her soul::

:: With a look of focused determination Guardian rushed forward... using her own considering gymnastic ability to dodge and evade the mannequins BLINKING out of the immediate grasp of a lunging "foot ball" garbed mannequin....and reappearing behind him...as she blew him up. his body would NOT be destroyed...merely "seperated"....as the parts fell to the ground::

:: Guardian reached Ororo...and bent down....craddling her.::

curses! a GASH..that mannequin NAILED her with such force!

::they began close in on Guardian...and she thrust her hand out..manifesting a HEFTY dome shield around herself and Ororo....the shield effortlessly deflected any of the physical strikes and passes of the mannequins.....::

Mannequins: Bodies for us!!!!......Flesh is Life!!

Bodies for us!!!!!............FLESH IS LIFE!!

Ororo's hurt...and Guardian is surrounded! these Mannequins are just putting themselves back together....and now there are OTHERS!

<<the eerie sound of the mannequins "voices" filled the air once again...like an unholy whisper in the wind>>

<< Karen gritted her teeth with shock as she glared at the mis matched mannquins and the arrival of the "themed" mannequins...as a psycho therapist..AND a sorceress she had seen some whacked out, terrifying images via her patients and personal adventures....but something about all of this...the longer they remained..the more terrifying it became. it was one of the most unexpected, unthinkable scenarios>>

we cant let them hem us in! we have to hit them as HARD as we can!!

<< spinning around...and spreading her cape along with her spin....at her command...and a spell, the CAPE itself began to decapitate several oncoming mannequins with the speed and force of a sycthe....slicing their heads right off. Karen didnt miss a beat as she kept fighting her way forward...toward Guardian and Ororo...as she side stepped and evaded a few of the smaller mannequins. she gestured...as a chime sounded off as five gold sparkling spheres appeared at several points around her body....as she smirked...the spheres changed shape and began large double edged mystic force daggers.... the daggers spun around...emitting a sparkling effect. Karen began to point, directing them with each gesture....she sends the daggers flying in five directions.....they charge madly for MULTIPLE targets. SMASHING through the mid sections of the mannequins and upward through the torsos and OUT of the heads of mannequins...causing th heads and upper bodies to explode ...the parts falling to the ground...the daggers continue charging , following their mistress' command. One of Karen's specialties, it seemed, was CONJURATION and there was no limit to what she could do with that. it was QUITE USEFULL at this moment::

** Bounding forward, Foxfire raced towards the skating mannequins. She had to help the others protect Guardian and Ororo. Moving through the eerie glow of the moon, Blaze dropped down on the ground striking her boot into a passing mannequin's knee, making him crash to the ground, dropping its hockey stick. Jumping to her feet, Foxfire easily scooped up the hockey stick. **

** With one power swing she smacked the stick down against the mannequins helmet, just enough to daze it adding the stick down to strike against its wind pipe. Back flipping away, Foxfire stole his skates, replacing her boots with the skates. Spinning around, she pushed herself forward. Foxfire's own stamina and agility were useful in this situation. **

"Coming through!"

** She barreled through the more armored thugs, swinging her hockey stick around. Unknown to most, Blaze was a sports fanatic, especially hockey. Double checking on Guardian and Ororo, Foxfire skating close to them but not near the dome Guardian created. Skating around them, she brutally knocked down several mannequins. Spotting more skating mannequins, Blaze grinned. Moving much more faster she lashed her feet forward to drop kick two of the mannequins, knocking them down. Crashing to the ground, Blaze listened behind her, another armored thug was coming. Laying straight on her back, she launched her legs over her head resembling a yoga position. Launching the thug forward from her skates, tossing him away from her. Pushing to her feet, Blaze struck another one in the knee. **

"What's the deal here people?"

::Ororo felt a PAINFULL wave of near unconsciousness envelope her as she fell to the ground. everything began to blur and sounds began to merge into one blaring buzz.....soon...she heard the clear, cold tone of Guardian. After a few terrifying moments of being stunned she found herself being held Guardian and inside one of the woman's powerful force domes of protection.::

:: Ororo frowned with pain as she regained her bearings::

thank you child. apparently my time away from earth and out of traditional combat scenarios with my X-men has caused me to become less "battle ready" than my younger days.

::as Guardian defended against the relentless mannequins, Ororo healed her own wounds...regained her full composure. indeed, her time on earth was long ago and everyone could be tripped up at least now and again...but at least now the group was functioning more like a team. even Karen was now able to display her power free of the lingering resentment she felt toward Cameron::

::Blaze and Karen bulled their way through the enchanted mannequins and made their way to the force dome shield fighting off on coming attacks...while Erika and Cameron brought up the rear::

we cannot afford to remain here long. we must force these things back and make a mad dash away from here to continue on our path to the empire state building::

:: Seeing the mannequins regenerate into disfigured window displays, Alexis' eyes widened. They were relentless non living bastards weren't they. But this wasn't the end of this more then interesting battle....now THEMED mannequins made their presents. ::

"Okay....HEY!! You! Uhm...maternity Barbie...come and get me! Common!"

:: Waving her hands in the air, Alexis' face was pretty priceless with her "what the fuck am I even saying" look that took form on her facial features. Waving her hands, she gained the mannequin's attention that was obviously decked out in maternity wear and also sporting the large tummy. The mannequin turned toward Alexis, along with a whole gaggle of other mannequins. About twenty mannequins began to walk toward Alexis' location, which was actually what she was hoping for. You gain the attention of one, you gain the attention of all the rest. As they began to hobble toward her, the meta human began to "act" scared, hoping to coax on the mannequins to keep on coming. Backing peddling toward the large brick wall that was behind her, the mannequins closed in. ::

"Oh no...what ever will I do.."

:: It was like "Dawn of the Dead: Mannequin Edition"...a scared woman, backed up against a wall, with twenty...uhm...mannequins surrounding her, ready to to fight one another to gain the victims soul. It was so poetic. As the mannequins were in arms length of Alexis, finally, the meta human unleashed her attack. A wave of energy left Alexis' body (think Jessica Alba in Fantastic Four) and crashed into the 20 mannequins surrounding her. The store displays went souring through the air, toward the opposite buildings wall, until finally, they all crashed into the wall. Quickly lifting her hand, the wave of energy soon formed into a web, now BINDING the 20 mannequins about twenty feet in the air, against the brick wall. Looking over at Guardian, Ororo, and Karen, Alexis kept her hand raise in the direction of the web of energy making sure it wouldn't fluctuate or faulty. The mannequins were going nuts, as the desperately tried to figure out a way to escape their bindings....::

:: Shouting to Guardian, Ororo, and Karen over the commotion. ::

"I think I cleared enough of a path for us to leave!"

** The Six was successful as a newly formed team, a word they all now understood. It was a priceless moment, including Alexis' comical fighting style. Blaze on the other hand skated around the ground with a new sense of fire within her eyes, which meant her fire power was slowly recovering. Shockwave's brilliant move of power was astonishing to watch for the fire starter, but what Alexis hadn't noticed was a larger male mannequin covered in hunting gear closing in on her. **

** Stopping short on the skates, Fox spun the hockey stick around to swat a male mannequin in hunting gear. Knocking the crossbow from his hands. A loud thud met the ground with Foxfire catching the crossbow in mere seconds. Pointing the weapon at him, she fired a whizzing arrow at its skull, knocking it off and pinning it into the animated building. Raising the crossbow, Foxfire glanced over to Shockwave with a wink. **

"I said I had your ass....just in more than one fashion."

** Resting the crossbow on her shoulder, Blaze's lips morphed into a cocky smirk. She knew how stubborn and pig headed Shockwave was. Enjoying her victory, Blaze hadn't noticed the fallen mannequin just a foot from her, the same hunter from earlier who was trying to attack Alexis. In one lightning strike, the Mannequin drove the small hunter's knife into the back of Foxfire's knee. Crying out with a more animalist roar from anger and pain, Foxfire collapsed down onto the ground. Turning her attention to the mannequin she felt her adrenaline soar. The rush of blood trickling out of her knee mixing with the impaled blade. With all her might, Foxfire physically punched the mannequin in the head, knocking it off again. "Argh!" She shook her hand, it felt like she connected with concrete. Some flesh slightly cut resembling a small scrape. **

** Turning her attention to the imbedded knife, she slowly began to pull it out. Biting down on her lower lip. Removing the knife, she gasped for air. Her eyes studying her wound around her knee. Pressing her fingertips down against it, mumbling words under her breath. Pivoting her weight on the hockey stick, Blaze got to her feet again. **

"That's what I get for watching Alexis' ass....and a nice one it is....anyone who throws in a comment can blow me."

** Inches of flesh were forming together in seconds. Blaze grinned at her knee cap, "I love this power." She turned to follow Karen now that Shockwave had cleared a path. She enjoyed teasing Alexis, the mutant knew it wasn't wanted but it was still pleasurable for Fox. Besides she enjoyed a challenge especially Alexis...but whatever Blaze wanted...she got. It was a matter of time before she would claim the Metahuman, just not now but soon. ;) **

:: Alexis watched Blaze help her out, but her smart ass comments about watching her ass bit BLAZE in the ass as the mannequin stabbed her behind the knee cap. Alexis couldn't help but smirk at Blaze's faulty moment. Obviously if Blaze was in more danger, she would help out, but a simply stab wound wouldn't take out Blaze that easily. Soon enough, the mannequin that attacked Blaze was yesterday's news and her wound had healed instantly. ::

"Well maybe if you weren't watching my ass, the mannequin wouldn't of stabbed you. But hey, what do I know?"

:: Alexis simply rolled her eyes before she lifted them toward the energy web that was still holding strong. Some of the mannequins gave up and were just sitting in the web. Others weren't as willing to give up. Either way, the mannequins were stuck in a rut. Alexis' hand, was still help upright toward the web, keeping it's power level strong. Looking towards Ororo, Karen, and Guardian, then shifting her eyes to Erika and Cameron, she awaited the group to take this opportunity to leave this ally way. ::

<< her cape flowed as she continued to direct her magickal manifestations against her foes. as Karen sliced and diced many of the mannequins with her vicious mystic force daggers, their "body parts" kept finding ways connect with other parts...head on top of hands...one set of legs connected to another. clearly the enchantment gave the mannequins something to make to make up for their obviously lack of PHYSICAL threat>>

<<finally, as Foxfire, Shockwave and herself managed to clear the area around the force dome, Shockwave cleverly manifested an energy web to capture and hold the majority of the mannequins at bay>>

a sound move, Alexis. the mannequins have no real physical strength... its their sheer force of numbers and ability to put themselves back together that make them such a threat...not to mention their ability to switch bodies and souls with humans. What about Erika and Cameron? did they make it over to THIS side of the web??

<< Karen's hiked up the hem of the skirt on her flying suit as she smashed her high heel down with such force on a head of a mannequin that had fallen near her feet after the battle....it was still chanting until she crushed it under her heel. as she let her skirt down...and adjusted her cape, she over heard the banter between Alexis and Blaze....smirking to herself>>

<<thinking>>: my my...such youthfull whims those two have. they must provide much needed relief on this team....given the many strong personality types that are present. I can see why Morgan might enjoy keeping company with them

** Glaring at Shockwave fiercely, Blaze folded her arms over her chest. The Meta human was right...she usually was...but hey...looking didn't hurt at all, although in this instance it did. Shockwave was a distraction for the mutant, maybe it was the battle suit she wore or those wintery blue eyes. Looking away, Foxfire cursed herself for allowing to get caught up, leaving herself vulnerable. What was coming over her? Shaking her head, she placed more weight on her injured leg, which by now was healing faster. Brushing a few strands of hair from her eyes. **

"Are you two all right?"

** She asked, switching the topic to Karen and Alison, who were still protected in the dome. She noticed Ororo was more alert than before as Guardian nurtured her. Tapping her index finger nervously against the rim of the hockey stick, she was anxious about confronting Morgan. Blaze's emotions were mixing and combining making it complex for the others to tell how she felt. **

** The Mutant was still brooding over her foolishness. Biting down on her thumb nail, Foxfire was becoming more on edge but why? The realization hit Foxfire like a tractor trailer, all these events were a direct result from the others and herself. Her mind replaying the memory of herself and Morgan arguing over Kelly King, the awful things Blaze had said. Dropping her head in shame, Blaze felt guilty. Guilty because she helped contribute to this destruction by pushing Morgan over the edge. **

** But she couldn't lose it, she had to face this...especially Morgan. Looking up at the Empire State building, Blaze immediately tensed. Clenching the hockey stick tightly. She suddenly felt like a horrible sister...leaving Morgan ALONE when she needed her the most. Blinking her blurry eyes, Blaze turned around to focus her attention on the destruction of Illustra. It finally sunk in....she couldn't pretend to be cool or laid back about this. **

"Its gone...and I was a part of this.."

** A sharp pain twisted through her heart. The agony of provoking such a power being and living long enough to witness the chaos sent Foxfire diving into regret. Time wasn't on her side either. She sensed Cameron and Alexis felt the same way but for Blaze it was worse, Morgan was her half sister. Blaze still found it hard to rely on others but she was getting used to it. Taking a small reprieve while the others talked, Blaze mustered up the courage and strength she had left. She was hiding how she felt through sarcastic comments, its who the free spirit was but those within the group could tell and even feel her pain. Karen would be going through the worst pain however, because she was a mother seeing her child in rage. **

"I want my sister back...the old Morgan I love and respect. But before we go inside....thank you all for making it this far....each of you has saved my ass...and it means a lot that you risk your life now for Morgan...to win her back especially when she hasn't been the easiest person to deal with. Cameron...you have changed within the last 48 hours...I've noticed you in a different light...one that's positive, I'm glad you came."

** Blaze usually said how she felt and this time seemed appropriate.
