The Game is afoot, Watson!
Ikaris is delighted that he has both Sati and Hex involved in the Game. It should be quite amusing to watch them in action and the stakes were well worth paying to the winner. Leaving the two of them to carry out whatever plans they might have, he wanders through the club until he nearly literally runs into Riana. He snarls in anger, his eyes shift to obsidian and the nearby shadows begin to grow menacingly. Visably struggling to regain his composure, it is several very long moments before he can bring himself to speak. Where Darkchilde might speak in icy tones, Ikaris' voice gains a hollow sounding vibrato to it. Its a measure of the Dominion's control that he simply doesn't strike out at her magickally.
"Riana. I am rather surprised that you dared to show your face after betraying us. Not that you lack courage, I will grant you that, but you had to know the problems that your presence would cause. No matter what else might have changed about you, its nice to see that you retain a certain....disregard for other's feelings and think only of yourself."
Ikaris smiles as he lets the words sink in, each one chosen with care to cut the deepest. Even as he is speaking, his fingers are weaving sigils at his side. When his spell is complete, no one would be able to hear what they would have to say to each other nor would they be able to telepathically intrude.
"I caught the look on Rayden's face. What happened? Did you betray him as well? You must have, nothing else would be likely to devastate him like that. I would be surprised if he ever manages to recover. Bravo, darling, bravo!"
Laughter escapes his lips but the humor never manages to make it to his eyes. They remain as cold and cruel as Riana has ever seen them.
