The Priest: << suddenly looking pale and ghostly. his voice now a low, gurling drag as his eulogy takes a BIZARRE turn...>>

I know how Arielle feels....the sheeted dead do squeak and tremble in the streets...the blood of the witches runs and casts a red carpet for the demon of fear to come forward. I wish i could tell you this is what I was supposed to be saying...but like you...i too...have...bad...DREAMSSSS

<< Spellbinder, Harbinger and Shadow Weaver began to show signs of distress as they along with the non super powered witches sense the presence of BARBAS. >>

<< flashes of Arielle's death..every bone and flesh slicing detail and her screams was being FORCED upon the witches. Those who were THERE were becoming sick with grief and despair. Those who had only heard that Arielle had DIED were now seeing the TRUTH behind the rumours.>>

<< the family of Arielle was included as well.>>

Barbas: Spellbinder! Harbinger! Shadow Weaver! you FAILED! Arielle is with ME NOW! and now that I know what hurts...what you collectively FEAR, I wont even HAVE to go after YOU directly when i can pick off these witches...you can't protect them ...CAN YOU!

<< the witches of the coven APPEAR to look ghostly...like corpses...with wounds on their faces, necks and eyes. an ILLUSION.>>

<< for the others[ Delilah, Blaze, Haleigh, Zach, Mike and Nicolas], Barbas was using this as a way to get to THEM. Torment THEM by forcing them to watch their witches be tormented, while the SUPER POWERED witches crumbled with grief and guilt over Arielle and the FEAR that the others were now in danger because of their failure!>>

Barbas: You were GLAD that Arielle died, Haleigh. Is THIS what you had in mind?

<< the coffin begins to tremble and shake as the winds rise! some of the HUMANS among them begin to panic.>>

at that moment

<< the unknown cloaked figure, a few feet away, had remained quiet and motionless. it was unclear who the figure was or even if the figure was a man or woman. Nicolas' scans could only confirm that the figure was THERE and in synch with this reality...which meant it wasnt Ororo, Verna, Athena etc. but as the turmoil began...the figure DASHES behind the large memorial statue, seemingly disappearing for the moment.>>

<< arielle's coffin OPENS...and her multilated body sits up...like a stiff, wooden mannequin. Karen gasps with shock and grief ..as do members of Arielle's family.>>

:: Alison knew Delilah misunderstood her. She wasn't saying that she felt like Nicolas should get a FREE PASS. She was simply saying that he had saved her LIFE in the nightmare and that had it not been for him...SHE might be in a coffin along side Arielle.::

:: It was one of the moments where he HAD done his job WELL and reminded her WHY he should stay, but that in NO WAY changed anything ELSE.::

:: as Haleigh arrived with ZACH, she starred at Zach for a moment or two, before blinking her colbalt blue eyes. If he was back, then it would be for Haleigh to deal with him. Like Morgan, she lightly regarded him...and trusted his loyalty. Sharon emerged, finding her own creative, stylish way of addressing the problem of her now entirely SILVER "wardrobe".::

love those high heels

:: the seer couldnt help but observe.::

:: on the way to the cemetary, Alison looked out of a window, and kept seeing Cameron's refracted image instead of her own. He looked very sad, and very HURT physically.::

:: the seer remained silent but the look on her face said it all. No matter how many times she shut her eyes and looked again after opening them, there he was.::

I'll save you...or perish myself!

:: she thought silently.::

:: walking beside Morgan. the both moved as silent sentrys behind Karen, just like they had done with ALEXIS 2 years ago at the funeral of her brother.::

:: at the burial site, Karen was seated with those who were seated and Alison stood with Delilah while Morgan and Mike stood behind Karen. ::

:: as the wind blew in consistent gusts...some of Alison's blue/black hair...specifically the newly aquired WHITE STREAK began to flow forward. as she tucked it back , she too caught site of the cloaked figure by the memorial statue. Delilah and Nicolas had noticed too. ::

:: Alison knew who it was and if Nicolas thought for a moment, he'd know too. the needed SOMEONE there...just in case...what happened NEXT.::

:: Morgan and Alison BOTH began to show signs of distress...as did Karen and the young witches. something was terribly wrong.::

Not here...

:: she protested. But then Barbas struck. the worst was when the coffin opened...and Arielle sat up...like a demented wooden marionette!::

STOP IT!

:: she thrusts BOTH hands out ala' Piper Halliwell and subjects EVERYONE but the Six to temporal stasis, to SPARE them any further emotional and mental assault.::

She's DEAD! Let her BE!

Barbas: but Alison, sweetie...I'm just getting STARTED! Besides! I just wanted HALEIGH to see that she'd gotten her wish! She WANTED the girl dead you know.

<< Morgan had bowed her head...placing her hand on her forehead even as her other hand was on her mother's shoulder trying to comfort her. the wave of grief...and the memories of what she saw in the apothecary were starting to get to her again. >>

<<as the reanimated body turned its head to look at Karen...and hold its hand out...the bones in the neck could be heard cracking. Karen exclaimed with grief and as Harbinger froze all the humans and the coven in place, Morgan boldly stepped forward and in front of her mother BLOCKING the view of the corpse from her mother.>>

Not today Barbas.

You're WEAK...we KNOW IT! you can't get to us like you did last night...so you're hurting these HUMANS, YOU BASTARD!

You were a WASTE OF SPACE in Hecate's time...and she let you know! That's why you hated her so much! but instead of being real like any DECENT RUN OF THE MILL villain, you attacked a mother and child! [ Demeter and Persephone] and you drew Hecate's WRATH! You nearly had her...but we ALL know what happened..that's why you went after my mother...and my grammie stopped you then...and I'm here to stop you NOW!

Only a COWARD attacks when people are burying their dead! Your PATHETIC...not unlike most MEN.

<< Morgan knew exactly what she was doing.>>

Come and GET US...if you CAN!

<< Alison told her that Barbas could not come FULL FORCE into the physical realm. he needed the lingering FEAR of others to provide him with that link.>>

Grammie is gone...but she made SURE you'd have to WAIT until I came of age before you might try something...so TRY IT NOW!

COME AND GET ME!

<< the thunder rumbles and chimes sound off as Spellbinder lifts her hands.>>

Barbas: Just like Hecate...ALWAYS butting in where you don't belong. I always did have a thing...for the bewitching HARLOTS in your blood line, SPELLBINDER! Hecate, << several other ancestors through the centuries are mentioned...>>, Verna, Karen and now YOU!

So strong....so powerfull...so driven by the extremes of love and hate....just like Hecate! you ARE her avatar...you ARE the ultimate in her blood line of this time...

<< the winds, dusts and leaves around them coalesce into a demonic apparation that bares down on Spellbinder.>>

Barbas: << in his true, unpolished, crazed demonic voice>> AND YOU'RE GONNA DIE JUST LIKE YOUR GRAMMIE! BUT NOT BEFORE I PICK MY TEETH WITH YOUR MOTHER'S BLEACHED BONES!

<< Spellbinder gasps as her hair blows back in the howling winds and the darkened skies...but she does not shrink back as the LARGE apparition looms and confronts her.>>

I'll DIE FIRST. You won't have her...or ANYONE ELSE HERE! DO YOU HEAR ME!

<< her eldritch armour manifests over her right shoulder, arm and hand...as her SOUL SWORD leaps into her grasp...without her calling it. Barbas was CLOSE...but he COULDNT come through. Morgan KEPT that thought in her mind as she DARED him.>>

Nicolas couldn't scan the woman, but he didn't need to once he though about it. He nodded at the figure and then returned his attention to the funeral just as all HELL broke loose. Barbas ttok over the funeral, magnifying the fears of the witches as he tried to strike at them and feed off their fear, Morgan and Alison defied him, and he finally thought of a way to help them. He stood quickly, confronting the apparition in front of Morgan.

You will not have anyone else here, monster. Illusion, BEGONE!

Nicolas' axe formed from his cane in his hand and he held it in front of him. A blinding light shone as his own mental power worked with Morgan's own enchantments to try to shatter Barbas fear hold on the others. Nicolas bought into Morgan's plan to goad the demon out.

I have taken your measure 3 times on your turf, demon. Come on over, let us renew our acquaintance. Because I will no longer exist before you harm my family any more.

For Mike, this was a very personal gathering. He suported Karen at every turn and was comforted by her appreciation and her love for him as they shared grief for this woman. He rode, speaking only as Karen needed, until they arrived at the car and he opene dthedoor. letting her out. He gave her space as needed to congregate with her fellow witches, falling nearly back into a security role as his gut told him that there was NO WAY Barbas was going to let this go peacefully. He saw the figure far off, but her perfume told him who it was. Funny about these special women. They could disappear in a blink of an eye, but you could just sniff, and they would never know how you found them out.

His gut feeling was right, and as he stood to Karen's other shoulder comforting her Barbas made his entrance. Alison, Morgan, and then Nicolas acted in everyone's defense as he lifted Karen fron her seat gently to a standing position so she would not be a stationary target. He reached behind him into the back of his duster and pulled out his "special" shotgun even as he protectively ushered Karen behind him, placing himself between her and Barbas. He said nothing. With his weapon level and looking like it meant business, nothing needed to be said.

Catching the eye row of Delilah after greeting Zach, Blaze could tell what the blonde was thinking. Smirking, Blaze wouldn't remark to her friend. It wasn't Blaze's fault that D was too uptight sometimes or rarely made a move on a guy. Out of the whole group Delilah was a lot more refined and somewhat reserved in her methods. But even so Blaze would continue to call her a friend despite everything they had been through even if Delilah didn't.

Once inside the limo Blaze grinned over at Morgan seeing her primping. It was very Morganesque, something she hadn't seen in awhile. Morgan needed to get her game back after everything that happened.

Arriving at the cemetery, Blaze climbed out and walked quietly with Delilah. Blaze detested funerals and hospitals, they always had an air of death to them. Making death final once and for all.

Bowing her head once the eulogy began but immediately Blaze looked up. Something seemed wrong here as the priest's voice took on a bizarre almost creepy tone. Looking around to notice a cloaked figure standing off to the side. In seconds, Barbas made himself known and he attempted to frighten everyone with the dead corpse of Arielle and the other members of the corpse.

Clutching both fists tightly igniting them in fire preparing to attack or defend when need be. The rustle of wind and other debris swiveled around the dreary grave site revealing a demonic apparition that was baring down on Spellbinder. Sighing under her breath, Blaze looked over her wardrobe not wanting to ruin it but she also needed more maneuverability. Pointing her index finger at the side of her designer dress causing a ripple of fire to crawl down her dress to create a burned slit allowing her more freedom to fight.

Mike would move protectively behind Karen and Nicolas attempted to help Morgan. With two witches protected Blaze moved to stand on the other side of Alison with Delilah next to the witch.

Blaze's mind would reach out to Morgan, Morgan, don't forget the spell Verna recited to protect Karen in the basement of the Manor. Reminding Morgan before things would get any worse. Everyone had been frozen a side from the Six.

Delilah was snapped to attention when the service began to go horribly, horribly wrong. Barbas! Only that royal douchebag would attack them here and now. He desecrated Arielle’s grave, her service, her memory…

And then Morgan was there, baiting him, fighting him – so much like her old self. Delilah almost was glad. All of Morgan’s pain and heartache seemed to slip away as she targeted the demon of fear. And you knew it was bad when the soul sword appeared…

Thankfully, Alison had cut off the events from the rest of the mourners. Delilah took a few steps away from her side, eyes alert and watching for some sign of the man himself.

And then the Six stood together, for the first time in forever it seemed.

frenzy at the funeral

<< as Spellbinder stands fast, she experiences a few lashings from high speed flowing debris that came from the apparition consisting of dust, leaves, wind, dirt and small branches.>>

<< the haunting howling and moaning in the stormy winds around them echoes but thanks to Harbinger, no one else outside the Six will experience or even be AWARE of this.>>

<< Rampage's axe flashes , emitting a bright white light that expands.>>

one last favor

[ the cloaked figure emerges, now along side the group, and removes her hood and reveals herself to be ISIS. she sees Spellbinder STRUGGLING.]

You helped me when we were held captive by Set, Spellbinder...and in ancient times, Hecate and Isis were aquainted...even FRIENDS. Magick knows no boundaries such as region or race.

Your task is to fight Barbas. It's not just your lives who depend on it. Barbas could vex entire societies as he did in times past and cause problems for MORE than just witches. His undying obsession of REVENGE against Hecate and her blood line is what keeps him attached by the thinnest of threads to this plane of reality!

the least I can do to tip the scales between you and I and REPAY you for how you helped me is this...

[ her own hair now blowing in the wind as well as her cape, she is revealed to be wearing her garb as the BLACK QUEEN of the hellfire club. complete with spiked chocker around her neck.]

[ lifting her gloved hands into the air...golden halos form , sparkling and expanding.]

Fearfull wind that blows!
That which forms from a captive heart
No longer will you dwell!
DEATH takes you with this spell

[ the apparition ROARS! Barbas knows that Isis is beyond his reach. Dominique is one of the FEW who IS beyond Barbas' reache.]

[ explosions manifest all around the giant face of the apparition as Isis' spell begins to hammer it with ancient egyptian magick before finally a sparkling, golden wind SWEEPS across the horizon and encircles the form...tearing at it like her own explosive sand cloud would and sweeping it away with such force as it explodes.]

I will remain...from a distance to ensure the area around you does not change for the duration of this funeral...but the rest...is up to YOU and your team.

Mostly, no one seemed to mind Zach was there. Blaze fawned over him a bit and he played off the attention with a gracious smile, agreeing that he would do his best in regards to Haleigh and that going out for drinks sounded like fun. The other women were polite but played it more neutral, as they had with him before. Neither Nicolas nor Mike lunged for him… which was a good sign. Haleigh had mentioned talking to them… and it must've worked. Mike stayed silent and Nicolas even gave him a nod, which he returned politely.

And then Sharon joined the group… and Zach caught a wave of resentment and anger that made him more than a little uncomfortable… but after a few seconds, hearing the way Sharon reacted to Nicolas, Zach relaxed, realizing that her feelings weren't directed AT him. At any rate… he decided NOT to press his luck by saying anything, even though he couldn't help but notice that resurrection looked good on her. ;)

It was a quiet ride to the cemetery… and the service started normal enough. Of course…. With this crowd… things rarely remained normal for very long and sure enough… the funeral took a bizarre turn for the worst. Grief, despair, and a paralyzing fear spread throughout most of the funeral's human and non-superpowered guests. Zach began to counteract it as best he could and moved from his position until he was off to the side of the scene. He began beckoning everyone who WASN'T the Six to calmly evacuate the area and get them out of the way so that Haleigh and the others could do their thing… but Harbinger FROZE everyone, nullifying his efforts. That works too. He thought. Any other time he might've smiled, but right now things were grim. Zach moved back into the group… everyone was taking their place, and several of them acted in protection of Karen, who was visibly distraught. Zach approached her, gently reaching out to her, focusing on stabilizing her emotions and calming her down.

"Miss Victoria? Are you alright?"

Zach's reintroduction went well…. Noneventful…. Haleigh couldn't have asked for it to go any better. Nicolas and Mike were politely silent, Blaze was playful, and as Haleigh had expected, everyone else was fine with it. Even Sharon took it in stride. Sharon offered to tell Claudia that she was the one who wrecked her apartment the other night… but Haleigh smiled and lightly shrugged.

"Eh… you can if you'd like… but I've done some… damage of my own so… [wink] it makes no difference to me."

Onto the funeral… too bad it couldn't be uninterrupted. Haleigh noticed a cloaked figure keeping her distance… she didn't get the instinct that this person was a threat… but found it strange she couldn't pin down the DNA signature. She kept an eye on the figure… just in case.

Barbas inflicted himself on the funeral and its guests. The six, well seasoned by now with Barbas all fell into place against him, a finally united front. Everyone knew what to do. Morgan, Alison, and Nicolas took their stand and verbally challenged him. The rest remained silent.

Barbas: "You were GLAD that Arielle died, Haleigh. Is THIS what you had in mind?"

The coffin shakes and then opens, and the badly mutilated body of Arielle sits up stiffly. Haleigh gently shakes her head and activates the mechanical system that lowers the casket down into the grave, out of sight.

"Baiting me is not going to work this time, Barbas. We're ON TO your tired, weakass game and you don't SCARE us anymore."

The cloaked figure came forth and revealed herself… it was Dominique… apparently here to help… but not for long. She said a spell and then told them that she was going to keep her distance and let THEM handle the rest.

[deadpan] "Thanks for stopping by."

restoring peace

<< as Firebird communited with Spellbinder via their sisterly bond, the sorceress clutched her soul sword and was prepared to strike out at the apparition in front of her.>>

Barbas: Fools. WHERE EVER there is fear...there I am. For every "breakthrough" your limited minds may have in coping with ONE fear...I can probe DEEPER to find another. you'll see.... one battle...does NOT win a WAR!

<< his final threat was cut off as Isis' magick destroys the apparition. The Black Queen coldly tells Spellbinder that this is her way of repaying the witch for HER help during their time in captivity during the SET caper. Nicolas, Morgan, Alison and Sharon all understand Dominique's reluctance to be much warmer with them, but Haleigh was a bit less charitable. Still, the hybrid had to acknowledge that Harbinger striking a TRUCE with the White Queen between the Six and the Sisterhood WAS a sound move for the time being...with both sides benefiting.>>

<< Isis promised to make sure the environment around them would remain unchanged...but she would not be able to account for the gray skies and windy weather.>>

<< after a few moments, Arsenal making sure Karen was okay and Morgan healing herself of minor cuts and scrapes she received from the flying debris, Harbinger informed Nicolas that once she released her temporal stasis hold on those around her, his AXE would use Morgan's enchantment to dispell all linger fear...for the moment...from the Humans and the coven. He had to time the use of the axe with her releasing the temporal stasis and Haleigh would have to close the coffin and return it to its original position after Sharon volunteered to return Arielle's body to its proper position.>>

<< after everyone did their part, they returned to their last positions BEFORE the waking nightmare began and with Harbinger's cue...she and Nicolas finished the part of the plan.>>

the cemetary

<< Spellbinder was startled by Isis' touch, but the fellow sorceress and avatar asured her that she meant no harm, that she was here to HELP. Spellbinder nodded and Isis used her own magick to repel the menace in front of them.>>

<< the fact that Dominique was seemingly BEYOND Barbas' reach made Morgan a little envious, but the woman HAD endured more than any on the Six could have imagined. her story was both tragic and epic and that she had SURVIVED her worst fears, not once...but TWICE was something Morgan couldnt deny.>>

Isis...thank you.

<< she looked at the Black Queen as the woman began to move away from the group and promised that she'd keep the envrionment stable so that the funeral and burial could be completed.>>

<< Firebird checked on her as she healed herself and Harbinger and Nicolas restored everyone with Nicolas quickly removing the first impressions from Barbas' attack from the minds of those he could.>>

I'm okay...

<< her breathing was now regulated.>>

I'm okay now.

What about the others?

<< looking behind her, everyone seemed okay. she placed her hand on her mother's arm.>>

Mom...you alright?

the cemetary

<< Karen was nauseated and beyond weary at this point. It wasnt really FEAR anymore...it was just hurtfull. But she knew Barbas needed her to off balance emotionally, for even after the feeling passed, she, like Morgan a few days earlier, would be plagued by suspiscion, fear and doubt.>>

<< Arsenal moved her behind him as her daughter, Harbinger and Nicolas squared off against Barbas' manifestation. Everyone remained as calm as they could, with Haleigh deftly avoiding the bait Barbas laid out for her.>>

<< as the unearthly apparition swirled, flowed and loomed large over and in front of Morgan, felt the cold, life draining touch of Barbas as his presence flowed across her like an evil wind. she saw her skin looking so PALE even as Arsenal stood ready to defend her at all costs. Karen felt herself growing FAINT at this moment, which was JUST what Barbas needed. for her to PASS OUT so he could get her in the dream zone. >>

Barbas: that's IT Karen....come closer...closer to MY side of reality. But i should warn you...I won't be gentle with it at ALL...

<< her eyes said it all...she was AFRAID...she could feel Barbas whispering in her ear...as if he were RIGHT BEHIND HER...but THEN...a gentle touch...>>

Zach: Miss Victoria??

<< it was faint at first...but as she flinched from the touch, she realized it was just a hand, not a monster.>>

Zach: Miss Victoria? are you alright?

<< Karen could hardly compose herself to talk. It was just like that night she crumbled in Morgan's apartment while Haleigh watched in disbelief and quiet dismay But Zach had a special gift of his own. One that may not have been as DEMONSTRATIVE as some of the others among them, but no less essential in a time like THIS.>>

<< but with his touch, and his care , he used his power to HELP her stabilize her emotions. Her heart beat regulated, as did her breathing. She no longer felt FAINT!>>

Zachary....

<< she said quietly as closed her eyes...and thought of Grammie.>>

Grammie: Don't be afraid, little one. Don't DOUBT yourself so. Trust in your family...trust in YOURSELF. Love casts out FEAR!

<< Karen was still fearing she would not be as dynamic as Grammie was in protecting her daughter or herself against Barbas. that had always BEEN her fear and it was that realization of that fear during Set that transformed her into Shadow Weaver.>>

<< Grammie said this was a natural progression, but Athena and Hecate BOTH remarked that it happened SOONER than expected for Karen. NOW that she was here...and had demonstrated a greater grasp and command of dark magick, Barbas was OBVIOUSLY interested in killing her and taking her essence to make him stronger. Arielle was a tasty appetizer...Karen would be apart of the MAIN COURSE.>>

<< As Zach helped her to CALM...she was able to THINK clearly again. Karen reached inside herself...and soon her own power began to manifest itself a sparkling golden shards of magick flowed around her. she reached for the CALM and PEACE and with Zach's help...she found it.. the fear was now checked!>>

<< Isis destroyed the manifestation in front of them and stated this was her way of tipping the scales to Morgan. Karen found Dominique to be an honorable woman, even if she was apart of the Sisterhood, she appreciated the woman's help and it was proof that somethings would foster a bridge between witches from both sides of the concept of "good and evil".>>

<< everyone carefully returned the envrionment themselves to normal as they could and as Morgan checked on her mother, Karen nodded slowly.>>

I'm fine...thanks in large part to this young man's actions. << smiling gently to Zach>>

I just thought....well...I shouldnt have thought Barbas would have any DECENCY about him.

We're going to have to take him at his measure...the PROPER way...and soon.

<< and with that, she returned to her seat...as did everyone else to their original spot.>>

Just as he realized, Dominique was here. She stepped forward and painfully banished Barbas for the time being, then explained that she was repaying a debt. Nicolas looked at her, nodding. He spoke to her through their bond.

Thanks Dominique. For everything. Take care.

Nicolas minimized Barbas effect in time with Alison's temporal magics and quickly converted his axe back to a cane as Mike shouldered his weapon. They nodded to one another and Nicolas returned to his place, taking a moment to meet Zach's gaze before seating himself.

Thanks for helping her.

He nodded then stood fast, in case Barbas was not yet done...

Blaze was surprised to see Isis had been there all along. Out of all the people she thought was under that cloak Isis wasn't one of them. But the Sorceress had impeccable timing. Even reminding Morgan that they were now equal. Another reason why Alison's truce proved a solid area.

Checking on Morgan and Alison now, making sure everyone was okay. Everything was put back together and everyone took their seats once more like nothing ever happened.

Karen avenged they would meet Barbas on his own turf and soon. Nodding to her having seen Zach help Karen. Everyone was shaken but now everyone was on their game and prepared for his funeral to end.

onward

<< as everyone attempted to settle before Alison released the others from temporal stasis and Nicolas' axe despelled the grip of fear on them, Karen returned to her seat looking rather grim. Zach had been instrumental in helping her but Barbas had touched her one TOO MANY times now. She was reaching a place that Grammie had come to years eariler after watching Barbas prey on many of Karen's young friends in the neighborhood.>>

<< the six remain silent as the priest tenderly eulogizes Arielle and offers up a final prayer and blessing. as the service concludes everyone takes the time to great the family and offer final words of condolences and support. Arielle's status as a witch and member of a coven was known to her family...who seemed to have been very supportive Arielle's endeavors. They do not know the person TRULY responsible for her brutal murder.>>

<< as the gathering dispersed....Karen, Alison and Morgan joined the coven. Dominique kept watch from a distance but the rest of the Six were asked to move away, to allow the witches time to handle their ritual for a fallen witch.>>

<< the rest of the group walked together toward their black escalade stretch. Morgan informed them that she'd be teleporting herself, her mother and Alison home after they were finished.>>

<< it was not quite afternoon yet and already the day had become less than pleasant...but there was more to come. The Zaccharas were still alive and well and apart of the problem for more than one member of the six.>>

<< as the escalade carried the passengers back to Melrose Place, the skies were flowing...still gray and still billowing in the wind but the wind seemed to have an almost ANXIOUS feel to it. there would be MUCH MORE to occurr today AND tonight.>>

<< Sharon remained agitated...with Nicolas, with the everything going on, with CLAUDIA. But she wasnt the ONLY ONE with a now deep running PERSONAL dislike of the Zaccharas and Claudia was now no longer the sole object of disdain.>>

<< Zach picked a hell of a time to return as Haleigh's companion and he would be in for one hell of a reaquainting.>>

Shuffling through stacks of paperwork, Claudia glanced over at the digital clock displayed on her desk telephone and rolled her eyes. Where the HELL was Morgan? Even primadonna diva models never expected their agents to tolerate being an hour late.

"Talia!"

Claudia's secritary appeared by her open office door.

Talia: Yes Miss Zacchara?

"Call Morgan AGAIN. This is getting fucking ridiculous already."

Talia: I called her five times and left messages every time Miss Zacchara...

"Call. Her. Again."

Shaking her head, Claudia tossed the MAC paperwork she was shuffling through onto her desk.

"Nevermind, I'LL do it."

Talia quickly nodded and left, knowing she should have just complied with what Claudia asked of her. Snatching the phone off it's base, Claws dialed Morgan's number and put the phone up to her ear. With no sleep, Barbas taunting her at every turn, and a high profile model that refuses to pick up the damn phone, Claudia was at her boiling point.

Unaware that Morgan was at a funeral, Claudia shut her eyes--feeling her temper begin to flare up--as she heard Morgan's voice message pick up.

"Morgan? Claudia. I'm not sure if you're aware from the last FIVE message that were left on your phone, but you're an HOUR late to our meeting. So unless you get your skinny ass here in the next half hour, i'll make sure you become the face of a geriatric diaper campagin."

Slamming the phone down, Claudia sighed out; cupping her hands around her face. This was going to be a VERY long day....

Hotel Roosevelt

Clara and Johnny lay together, contentedly trying to stay awake together… they'd been able to thwart sleep all night, but it was progressively getting harder, especially with the soothing way Johnny had taken to running his fingertips across Clara's skin.

It was time to get up… get moving, they'd been bathed in the dim, gray light of the day for quite a few hours now… it was surely near noon… but it was difficult to abandon the engrossing awe of their consummation. Neither of them wanted to pull back from the other… but sleep was acting like an anchor pulling them down into the black abyss of dreamworld… where Barbas was undoubtedly waiting.

"Mmmm… I wish I could stay like this forever… but we should probably go back to the apartment and get a few things to make this hotel stay less… inconvenient."

Johnny: [sighing, running his fingers through her hair] "Me too… but I suppose you're right."

They delayed a few more minutes… then finally got up and dressed. Claudia had already left to go to Affinity. Clara and Johnny went back to Melrose, where Clara rounded up a few essentials [for both her and her sister]. She didn't know how long she and Claudia were going to be staying at the Roosevelt… but she couldn't imagine coming back to Melrose knowing they were being watched by the sociopathic Black Widow and her certifiably unstable friends.

Johnny: "I'll go get some things from my place… and be right back."

Clara nodded. "Alright. I'll meet you in the courtyard, I think we should take your bike and the Lamborghini out of the Melrose garage… I wouldn't put it past Haleigh… OR Sharon… to vandalize perfectly good vehicles."

Johnny: [nodding in grim agreement] "Good idea."

He disappeared and Clara went back to the task at hand. Unfortunately... she didn't know the full extent of the situation... or that it wasn't JUST Haleigh and Sharon she had to be concerned about.

on the way back to MP

<< as the witches finished their final moments of the heartfelt ritual for a fallen witch, they disengaged and took a few moments to commune.>>

<< Morgan, Karen and Alison hugged the survivors of Arielle's coven and promised them that this wasnt the last time they'd see them...and advised them all to take special care tonight. to avoid things that they were afraid of and to stay together.>>

<< as the women dispersed, Morgan, Karen and Alison walked together, slowly...reaching Dominique, the women shared a silent moment where the EYES said it all. they were greatfull to Dominique for her assistance, they appreciated her empathy and compassion to the situation as a fellow witch...even if they were not on the "same side".>>

<< Dominique silently nodded and took her leave and then there were three.>>

<< walking together, the winds blew and the tired women all finally looked among one another.>>

Well...ill take us home via stepping disc...

<< she opened her purse and saw her phone was blowing up with alerts!>>"

5 messages!?

<< she touching the screen of her sleek phone, Morgan listened to one message after the other from Talia...from AFFINITY!>>

Oh bloody....

I forgot about the meeting!

<< after everything had happened...one couldnt blame her and THEN came Claudia's voice mail...and Morgan's opened with a silent gasp of disbelief...>>

Oh...no...she DI-IDNT!

<< Morgan bellowed as her icy violet eyes GLEAMED with indignation!>>

WHO does she think she's TALKING TO!?

Karen: What? Who is it honey?

Alison: who ELSE? a woman with the charm of a cobra and grace of an ELEPHANT on it's period...Claudia SUCKARA

<< Morgan exclaimed with a short laugh in her exhale as she immediately dialed Claudia back.>>

I'll just be a moment. I need to call Claudia and inform her of something....

I'll show HER.

<< the phone rings...and Morgan waits. If Claudia thought she could go hard, Morgan would SHOW her the meaning of that phrase and THEN some. >>
