The Citadle: Realm of secrets and pain

Cause I'm a mother f*cking PIMP! ;)

**As Blaze slept in her realm of unconsciousness, her body prepared itself through its omega healing factor. Just as it had done months ago with her grueling battle in Valiant and her nemesis Black! He was the one who "slain" her bringing her to this death trap. As the hours passed, Blaze's dreams altered as did her mind. Just as the last of her nightmares faded, Blaze's senses stirred within her dream state. Opening her eyes slowly, she moved her irises around the room, which at first everything was blurry. Blinking her eyes a bit to focus she noticed she was no longer in the chair. Flashbacks provided Intel from her previous engagement in the gene splicer. But what exactly happened? Fox was going to find out and then get the hell out of here! **

**Sitting up slowly, her mind shook causing Blaze to feel dizzy and nauseous. Gently she touched her temples while taking deep slow breaths. Her energy was feeling rejuvenated and even slightly more energized. She cringed at the loud obnoxious sound of a raging bell sounding over the building she was contained in. Noticing an equipment table, Blaze used it to aide her balance, by climbing to her feet. When she stood, she gasped with horror at the bodies sprawled out over the floor. Some were dead while others seemed to be transforming into zombies. She knew how to kill these monsters provided her knowledge from the Umbrella Corporation. Fire could hold them off but Foxfire was unsure if she could use them just yet, especially in this type of sealed shut atmosphere. All fire required oxygen even the smallest of amounts. Noticing she was still dressed in the doctors uniform from her earlier encounter trying to escape. Her first thought was defense, a gun or some sort of weapon! If all these scientists were killed she wondered if her father and Adam were alive too. **

"Here we go again!"

**Her demeanor changed into a cool and collected individual with proper training. She couldn't afford to be an emotional train wreck. But if she was going to escape, she needed a better plan of escape, this place was enormous. Walking slowly towards one of the lab tables, she picked up a scalpel for defense. It would have to do for now until she received some sort of gun. Most viruses had no affect over Blaze, which is why she never got sick. She was almost in a way, the female version of Wolverine. **

"I don't know whatcha heard about me...but ya can't get a fucking dollar outta me!"

**Usually Blaze listened to music when she fought. She had her own soundtrack but obviously that wouldn't happen. Instead she'd need to go with the flow and she'd do just like that with the help of 50 cent. Cracking her knuckles loudly she walked down the hall to explore this maze**

<< electricity sparked and flared from the now destroyed Gene Splicer...a massive pile of metal and tech in the middle of the immense bio systems lab. There were scorch marks on the floor and walls...as the lights flickered and seemed to shake......and there was also patches of an eerie red/violet substance...scattered at random throughout the floor and walls ...almost as high up as the ceiling...this was the TechnoOrganic Virus....which had infected the two lab assistants and left them inert....seemingly dead and they looked...like odd fiber optic corpses>>

<< it was deadly silent.....and Foxfire could see that the control room...high above near the ceiling was now completely dark. no sound..no visual of activity....where were Adam and Christopher?>>

<< after a few moments of regaining herself and her wits....Foxfire found that she could move. her powers were still in flux....and though her body was weak from all of the extreme genetic manipulation and experimentation...she was afor the most part in tact.....she had to find protective clothing...for this virus, if it made contact with her, could STILL pose a threat to her...even if the last two attempts to infect her had not taken. She needed to get to a computer....and learn the status of this floor...for she knew that the Bio Hazards were kept near by in a containment room...but with the power surge and failure....it would be foolish to go wandering off without some kind of knowledge>>

<< there was a small room just outside of the entrance to the testing area of the bio systems lab.....its door was shut...with scorch marks and a splatter of blood on it. but the "supply" symbol on the room suggested their might be a suit and possibly weapons and medical supplies...she had to get in there and see.....and quickly....for her enhanced hearing discerned the breathing of another life form...as well as foot steps>>

**Blaze suddenly stopped to rub the sleep from her eyes. Her hands delicately massaged along her eye lids when she listened to her surroundings. In doing so she heard faint foot steps and some breathing. Spinning around she got into a deadly fighting stance, her eyes moving from side to side, scanning. But she saw nothing, but rather then chance it, she needed to find information and fast! Remembering the operating tool she carried, she placed it inside her messy bun for a quick grab. The knife fitted nicely through her messy locks for the time being. Continuing her pace, she studied various signs she saw, making a check list as her own sort of "map" of the building. **

**Quickening her steps now to several wipe strides, came to the exit of the lab room. Its automatic door was locked shut. "Damn!" She cursed seeing she was trapped inside this room. But her stubbornness wouldn't allow this, she looked for a keycard mechanism. She saw one with a grin. Fox's smile faded, obviously the power was off so the card would be no use. She'd need to hot-wire it like that of a car, something she did in her rebellion days as a street racer. Standing back from the device, Blaze whirled her right leg around quickly, striking the small panel off the device. Now, the wires were revealed in blues and blacks. Walking up to the device, her eyes concentrated onto it. Squinting her eyes slightly, she saw the two wires she needed to counter the locked doors. With her quick thinking, Blaze was able to open the automatic doors. Several mini sparks shot out from the wires as the sound of a loud hissing was heard, "bingo!" **

**Moving through the doors, Blaze again came to notice a sign that read "Supply" next to the exit. Her nose picked up traces of blood mixed with fire, obviously from the carnage that Adam and Christopher had created. Her left palm surrounded the door knob, turning it and then opening it. She shoved the door open first to check for possible "threats" that could force her into danger. When she saw none she walked inside, locking the door behind her. **

"Talk about a shit hole!"

**She sneezed at parts of dust adored the shelves where various weapons and tools were kept. Sniffling away until she spotted an all white suit, it reminded Blaze of a space suit. Its bulky form with a round helmet made it look ridiculous than an item of clothing she'd wear. However, because of the power failure she couldn't go wandering without her own protection. She couldn't chance her healing factor, after all her fire power was in a flux as well. Pulling the suit down off the rack, Blaze fell down at the added weight of it, it had to be fifty pounds. Although it was a small weight, Blaze wasn't used to anything other than her own from the endless tests she suffered. "Jesus!" She shoved the suit off her in an agitated manner until she calmed herself. Getting to her feet, she pulled the bulky suit up, "looks like something out of Starwars." Putting on the suit on until she placed the suit on, "Lukeeeeeeeeee, I'm your father!" Blaze chuckled at her dry humor, it calmed her for now. "I never thought I'd say this but where is Donna Karen when ya need her, better yet where is Morgan!" Blaze's thick white boots thumped against the door every step she took. "So much for the stealth mood." **

**She walked over to the dusty black shelf she saw earlier. She reached up to a plasma gun with her thick gloved hand. Picking up the gun she stopped to pose with it in a Charlie's Angel's pose, "Good morning Charlie." (LOL, sorry I'm too hyper, forgive me.) Blaze began serious again, searching for maybe a computer. Now that she was geared and ready she required a format about the containment level. Walking over to a closet, she opened it and out flew a picture, which smashed to the ground. Within the picture she saw Alexis and her father Adam. Picking up the frame, Blaze examined this, "not bad, so Adam is a daddy then. Bloody bastard!" She grit her teeth behind the mask. Placing the frame on a nearby desk she continued to look around the room until she found something of interest**

<< outside the supply room...coming down the hall leading to the turn into the test area of the bio systems lab...was one of the escaped bio hazards...a twisted creature...that had once been a human male. it was now a horrid, dark creature...with glowing yellow eyes...and a constant gurgling/hissing sound seemed to eminate from it>>

<< the creature lumbered into the room.....blood dripping from its hands.....as it stopped...and looked around....it KNEW someone was here...but couldnt immediately spot the "prey">>

<< after many experimentations to graft various animal dna into its genetic structure, this creature now had the agility of a jack rabbit..able to leap many feet in the blink of an eye...as well as possessing the ability to lock onto its prey like an alligator with death grip.....its darkened , scaley skin was also the result of the experimentation.......it was truly a horrific sight>>

<< it drew closer to the door where Foxfire was on the other side of.......>>

**But Foxfire's own natural sanity took a dip when her rapport with Morgan occurred. She felt distressed and anxious when she shut her eyes, knocking herself back into the wall as images of the Penthouse engulfed her mind. Shutting her eyes, she was able to see Morgan soundly sleeping until she saw a red beam mark target her skull**

"MORGAN!!"

**However, a mysterious armored woman suddenly charged into the room, firing some sort of device at the large robot, a sentinel! She remembered them from her days in Valiant, Goosebumps peeled away and under her skin. The image faded when an attractive blonde (Haleigh) pulled Morgan out of the room. Opening her eyes, she caught herself breathing heavily that her half -- sister was in dire distress. Blaze had no way to find her or even break out of this prison! As she became coherent now of her current surroundings her sense of smell indicated a horrible stench of garbage. Wrinkling her nose up at the deathly smell, she knew it was some sort of creation. Moving quickly with her own agility, she pulled out the scalpel from her messy pun she stole earlier. Clutching it tightly in her hands with the plasma gun in her left hand. Foxfire resembled a warrior ready for war. But damn the blasted suit, it was bloody hot! Blaze's body was beginning to become a bucket of sweat. Her index finger ran over her all white suit until she hit a red button, which hummed until turning a green shade. Cool ventilation air filled her suit, lowering her warm temperature. **

** She knew the creature on the other side of the door was dangerous but she wasn't aware of how dangerous. She noticed a small medium sized office desk nestled in the rear corner with files upon it. Walking over to it, she saw a file that read "Test Subjects," opening it up she noticed various notes and pictures upon it. She stopped at a young looking girl with deep brown eyes, Eva Valentine. Blaze gasped at the name, Valentine! She wondered if her sister was her old partner, Jill. Shaking the thought she passed by various folders, nothing on the creatures. Groaning at trivial information there was! **

**Spinning around she heard the creature moving closer, her eyes noticed a fire extinguisher! "Hmmmm." She said softly, perhaps a little "chill" would do him some good. Putting the knife inside her bun once more. She grabbed a hold of the white belt the suit contained, tying it around the gun. Once she did this, she placed the loop over her chest improvising as a strap holding onto her body. Grabbing onto the slightly heavy base of the fire extinguisher, she grabbed the nozzle, lifting it up towards the door. She was ready to pump him face first with the thick snow what frost. She knew it could break though the door with its strength. She had to wait, a fly caught in a spider's web. Blaze awaited for it to find HER, not the other way around. **

<< there was lots of commotion outside...the creature was clearly agitated..and was smashing things out of its way...as it lumbered across the room toward the door.......it stopped just a few steps away.....and on the other side...Foxfire could see from the small crack between the door and the floor..that the shadow of the creature was close...she could hear its gurgling breathing....and sense its extreme hostility....it was in a very predatory mood>>

<< even as she was quiet and still....the creature seemed to know SOMETHING was behind the door..as it drew closer....and growled with annoynace.....blood dripping from its hands could be heard hitting the floor ever so slightly...as it began to pound on the door........harder and harder with each pound.....making indentations into the door.....>>

**Blaze's timid reaction was changing into annoyance with this beast who was POUNDING on her door! Narrowing her eyes once more, a trademark of Foxfire's, one of the many. Cracking her neck from side to side, she was losing patience with the ugly mother fucker now! So she decided to meet him on the other side, taking a step back to give herself some space from him. **

"Bring it on bitch!"

**Her voice was low and cold this time. She wanted to get the hell out of here ASAP! With one lightning strike, she kicked the doorknob off its hinges from her adrenaline, which flew behind her landing with a clanking sound. Kicking the door forward, it moved off its hinges in seconds, and if the creature was there it'd be toppled upon. Pulling the trigger of the extinguisher, she watched as blasts of frozen ice sparkled everywhere outside of the hallway. Taking a step over the door, rising in height until she stepped off of it. Her eyes scanned around for the creature, inviting him to come and play**

"Here Kitty Kitty...."

**She taunted, not in the mood to wait for ages, she wanted to do this while she was young. She automatically zoomed her vision at the ceiling. Trained to check this area for any Licker's of the sort, hideous creatures who could walk along the ceilings and walls. Blaze had no idea what she was dealing with. Blasting more inches of the snowy material around her as she spun in a 360 circle. Backing herself up against the wall, her stubborn attitude wanted to tackle this thing once and for all. Psychology it would bother her if she just ran instead of trying to wound or kill it. The air resembled the smell of dead corpses, probably the scientists or maybe the virus? Blaze didn't plan on figuring it out, her high emotion was strung high. Her number one plan of attack, KILL any and all who attempt to get in her way. Her ears listened for that God awful vibration of breathing the creature attempted. Her plasma gun hung tightly across her chest while her knife was held between her loose messy bun. Foxfire resembled that of a soldier, she even wore an old battle scar just below her bottom lip, sitting right on her chin. It was small but notable to the observant eye. When Blaze heard nothing, she turned and began to sprint down the hallway. But this was difficult due to the heavy suit she wore to protect herself from the virus that had spread throughout the building. **

**Blaze continued her pace when out of no where she noticed a scientist stumbling towards her. He had various marks over his long white doctors coat. Blaze knew he was infected and she'd have none of it. Raising her plasma gun, targeting his skull, she fired. Gore and guts plastered the wall, running past the fallen body, her boots stepping in the freshly painted blood. She nearly had slipped but was able to control her balance instead due to her gymnastic skill. Turning the corner she noticed several more "people" moaning and stumbling. Blaze unleashed more ammo upon all of them, even IF they were still slightly human. All were causalities here and she wasn't planning on being the hero. She was gonna save her ass and fuck everyone else. If they happened to work here, that was their fault and not hers. She stopped when she saw two hallways, unsure of which way to go**

"Damn! And I swear if I even see Morgan I'm gonna burn all her designer clothing! haha, yeah and then she'd send me to Hades in a stepping disk."

**Blaze smirked at the thought of it all though. She knew Morgan was a Fashion Queen, practically buying out every top notch designer there was. She spun around at the snarling behind her. She expected to see the creature who had greeted her earlier but instead she came face to face with another scientist. This one struggled to bite Blaze who lifted her gun and fired when she was tackled to the floor. **

"Argh!"

**Her body throbbed with pain but she was concerned with who the hell tackled her. Glancing up she saw another damn zombie. Sighing she got up, releasing her gun allowing it to lay against her chest. Putting her fists up she jumped into the air, executing a split kick. Striking both demons back onto the floor. Running towards them, she slide onto the ground using her momentum to perform a "baseball slide" kick to their jawline. Rolling away before they could even touch her as she jumped to her feet. Motioning for them to come forth she threw a nasty jab to the second one and then adding an uppercut into the mix. The first struggled to get up when Blaze moved into a powerful handstand. She remained there for mere seconds until she pounded her boots into the zombies nose. Landing forward onto her feet, she crouched glancing sideways**

"You two kids see an ugly bitch around here? Loves banging on walls and all that jazz?"

**Blaze studied each one, clearly knowing they wouldn't be able to talk. Her smile grew into a devilish smile, pulling out the sharp but small scalpel she flicked it at the first zombie. It easily sunk into its forehead, killing it. **

"WOOOO!"

**Blaze dipped her body down to the ground, performing her own special victory dance. Even if her mind was warped she needed to keep herself company before she went insane from isolation. Foxfire had to talk to herself or these things by attempting the most immature -- ridiculous things. Becoming serious she blasted the second with her gun. Walking over to the fallen zombie, she yanked out her knife. Wiping the blood on its clothes when she put the knife back into her hair. She headed down the hallway looking for a way out and for that nasty little creature from earlier**

<< she dispatched her two "friends" quickly...thanks to her hyper reflexes and combat skills. the large creature from earlier....was no where to be found at the moment...no sign of when or if it would turn up again>>

<< Foxfire now found herself facing a long corridor....the concealed lighting flickered...and random sparks sprayed from the seemingly frictionless walls as the fiberoptics had now been ruptured.....a siren could be heard in the air...faintly as it was eminating from above this floor......and far down the corridor...she could see an express elevator....this would clearly get her closer to the TOP of the citadle.. where most likely more computers, information and weapons would be held....the power dampening chip was still under the skin of the back of her hand...she needed a to find a way to deactivate it and gain her powers back....but for now....she needed to move, for where there were two zombies..MANY more were bound to follow. the containment field in the "bio hazard" lab had been destroyed and MANY creatures were now on the loose throughout the citadle....Foxfire felt an odd sort of calm in the midst of all this though. She could FEEL that her sister was moving toward rescuing her......AND that she had reinforcements.....she knew that come what may..spellbinder and her allies would be here....it was just a matter of time>>

<< she heard the faint gurgling of zombies off behind her....she knew that more were coming...she had to get off this floor and up to where more information and resources would be....not to mention fresher air.....she was starting to get SICK of being down in these over equipped catacombs of the citadle>>

** Blaze's fiery temper soothed into a tranquil calm almost after a violent hurricane on the ocean now was washed into a dead calm. Her eyes noted the lack of lighting in the corridor for this sector. Even as it flickered from the chaos, she still flinched just a tad. Her body working harder from the strenuous activity she suffered earlier from Adam and her father. Blaze was unsure why she felt calm but she happily accepted it. The fatigue and stress she had felt before was eased immensely. She even felt more conscious and alert to anything. Now she was able to move forward down this maze. **

** Walking down the long empty hallway, the sound of heavy boots tapped along the white floors, sprayed and washed with streaks of blood. It was then that Blaze held her breath again but began to struggle. Her hands immediately reached for the helmet of her suit. But her conscious forbid it. Deep down Fox knew the idea was a bad one. Instead she spotted an express elevator. Wasting no more time, she took off in a light jog this time. Moving easily towards the elevator, she pressed the button. **

"Let's hope this is our ticket."

** Bits of fog covered the glass section of the helmet. Grinding her jaw at this, she moved to wipe it away with her gloved hand. She froze when she heard some unnatural sounds close by. Her throat tensed up, she DARED not to turn around. Almost afraid to see what she might see. The elevator opened and Blaze jumped inside, hitting the button. She now faced the corridor, seeing several zombies. She hoped the doors would move a little faster now. It seemed as though they were moving in slow motion. Raising her plasma gun for protection, she wasn't planning on wasting anymore ammo. The doors closed in front of her eyes tightly as the elevator startled her balance while it soured upwards. Blaze stumbled back into the wooden wall, reaching for one of the stainless steel beams they used for railings. Her hands began to sweat inside this suit. Grabbing the glove, Blaze took it off only to notice some sort of device imbedded her skin. Her left fingernails ran over it slowly, curious to what this was. Her brows furrowed when an idea struck her. **

"This could be why my powers are in a strut."

** Her mind spun with activity until a light ring alerted her to the sudden stop. The elevator was at its destination. Putting her glove back on, she watched as the elevator doors opened. Fox held her breath, last time she was in an elevator she was recaptured. She only could hope this time was a charm. **

<< the elevator sluggishly began its ascent up the shaft...a haunting whistling could be heard all around....the lighting was still faint..flickering...and it was impossible to tell how many floors it had traveled thus far....but suddenly the elevator cable began to shake..causing the elevator to jerk and stutter...before the clamps locked it in mid ascent....between floors>>

<< the lights flickered off...it was pitch black inside......but the cable still shook...obviously there was some extra weight on it......weight of another creature.>>

<< as Foxfire regained her balance from the sudden stop...she could see from the grated ceiling above...a large grotesque creature...it looked as though it was completely skinned..its hands and feet freakishly large with large claws...but its head indicated that it had once been human.....it slid down the cable with speed and crashed right into the elevator with Foxfire....landing on all fours...before IMMEDIATELY lunging at the young mutant...and attacking her...its fangs dripping with an acidic saliva>>

** Blaze remained quiet, tuning into the various sounds around her. She gasped for a moment while she had images of Spellbinder and her comrades with her. Sighing heavily she knew they were close. Their bond enabled them to share such a powerful gift. Distracted by an image of her half sister coming to rescue her, Blaze jerked forward from the added weight on the elevator. The image faded right exactly when a hideous beast smashed into her, knocking her backwards. While it was right on top of her for a split second, its fangs dripped directly onto her helmet of the suit, immediately melting the glass away. Crying out in pain as the acid met her cheek bone, burning a bit of the skin. She immediately threw off the helmet as she searched for the creature. **

** Blaze got up quickly with little time to bare. Noting its size and grotesque look, "you're one ugly mother fucker!" She couldn't maneuver in such cramped space at this elevator but Blaze would need to be cunning. Just then the creature lunged at her again but this time Blaze was ready. Using her flexibility she quickly ran to the side of the boxed elevator jumping onto it as she stretched her boot out to kick the beast in its face. Landing onto her feet, she knew her plasma gun was out of the question. Such a powerful blast could kill the creature AND herself, it would be suicide. Peering at her gloved hand, she remembered her chip on the back of her hand. Her mutant powers would work perfectly but she had no inkling how to activate them. **

**Blaze's mind buzzed with strategy's on how to exit this thing. She glanced up at the grated ceiling, "of course!" Jumping up, she locked her fingers through the grates while pulling her upper body up in a 'chin up' maneuver before striking the creature in the face with her heavy boots. Swinging her pelvis upward kicking the grate off its hinges until she climbed up where the creature had been. She looked up as her heart began to increase its pace, her adrenaline soaring to new heights now. She reached for the black thick cable wire as she began to climb up, she needed to move up and AWAY from that thing!

<< the elevator handnt got that far....she was at least out of the sub basement levels..and as she deftly defended herself against the savage creature in close quaters and then scrambled up to the top of the elevator car...she could read on the interior of the doors that she was between the main basement and 9th floor of the citadle........there were 10 floors of the citadle...a "basement" and then "subbasements" where the REAL evil took place>>

<< she could burn a hole through one of these doors of the shaft and climb out on to that floor...and gain ground from the creature....as well as find a computer to gain information on how to deactivate that power dampening chip under the skin of her hand>>

<< the Creature was only slightly dazed by the physical assaults of Foxfire...but that was all the time the fast, agile mutant needed...and as soon as it recovered...it roared with annoyance....spraying acid all around the elevator cart......before smashing its way through the doors....it was now on the floor beneath her...so she needed to take the 9th floor and fast..........there was no telling how smart or how soon the creature would try to come back for her>>

<< once on the ninth floor...she would find her way to the "command center"....the same place she was when the FAKE Spellbinder had "rescued" her the last time she attempted to escape>>

** For once in her life, Blaze began to feel helpless without her fire powers. But luckily she still had some of her senses and her combat skills. She moved fast with every ounce of energy she contained. Memorizing the print on the interior doors, she knew there had to be one more level to go. However with the beast hot on her trail, she'd have to take the closest level to her, level nine. Her ears listened while she climbed, pulling her body higher up the cable wire. Goosebumps surged over her body at its ravaging roar, she knew he was provoked now. Locking her ankles around the tight cable rope she swung her body towards the sector that read, ' 9th' this was her ticket to some computers and even locating Spellbinder and her friends via camera's the building contained. But would they work? She wasn't sure even if they were on surge protectors. Swinging back and forth in mid air she heaved her delicate body towards the closed elevator shaft, barely catching her footing. She landed in the small alcove holding on but her gloves were making that difficult. Fox needed a form sitting suit and not this gigantic panda suit she wore. Pulling herself up she eased her body along the silver base. Spreading her legs at the corners of the alcove to prevent herself from calling. **

"All right, we need to unlock this piece of shit but how?"

** She was out of any sophisticated technology to unlock the steel double doors. Her scalpel, its adamantium blade could perhaps cut into the wall. Reaching for the small knife she placed it between the elevator doors, struggling to push them open. Although Adamantium was the strongest metal, this method probably wouldn't work. She had to be a step ahead than this. Running her index finger and thumb over her chin to think. The clock was ticking before the beast found her. Placing her ear to the cold metal doors, she listened for any sort of device or ticking. Elevators were timed together to provide smooth rides. And obviously since it had abruptly stopped perhaps their was a beeping sound which she could target outside of the elevator. Blaze was correct, a faint beeping device was heard just to the left of the doors on the wall. Pulling her head away, she began to strike the knife into the wall, chiseling out blocks from her path. But this process was slow, something faster was needed. Putting the knife away she backed herself up on an angle and fired the plasma gun on a direct ankle that it was fly towards the wall and not harm Blaze. Squeezing the trigger, a bright blast of plasma soared through the air, blasting the wall away and debris which bounced back towards Blaze. Raising her arms above her unprotected head to shelter herself when a large chunk of wall struck Blaze right in the right shoulder, almost knocking her off the edge. Her cry of pain echoed around her, causing pain to her eardrums. Silence was now filling such an empty void. Blaze grabbed onto the left side of the alcove while she slowly recovered. Her healing factor would heal the nasty bruise that was beginning to form along her shoulder blade. She had been lucky not to be hit in the left shoulder blade, for she was left handed and it would affect her handling of things. Regaining her bearings, Blaze side stepped along the small base floor of the alcove to see scorched wires their, she grabbed a fistful and snapped them. The elevator door opened quickly allowing Blaze passage. **

** Blaze took a slow step inside, raising her gun with her left hand while her right shoulder blade recovered. A dull aching throbbed in her bone and over the main muscle. Noticing a sign that read 'Command Center' Blaze moved along this corridor. Moving faster with her long quick strides she passed by various rooms when she stopped. Most buildings contained a map or layout of the building. Rounding the corner her piercing green eyes searched for a map this time. And she found one framed on the wall, colored in red lettering. Running her index finger over her location until she spotted the 'Lab Tech. Room.' She knew there was a computer in that room. Walking down the hall until she turned left at the T intersection, moving into a room. This door was open and no blood or any bodies were seen. Locking the door behind her and dragging the desk across the marble floor to block the door until she could have time to search. Moving to the side of the room near one of the stained glass windows, she sat down next to the computer. Perhaps she would find the answers she sought. **

<< Spellbinder steps forth from the disc as it snaps shut....leaving her alone in a cold, dark area...with no visible markings or indications as to where she was.....but somehow....it seemed familiar to her>>

<<Foxfire had safely secured herself in one of the Lab Tech rooms....the computer and power in this room seemed fully operational ...no bodies or blood or any sign of the techno organic virus either. the chronometer of the computer was stuck on the time when the initial backlash and meltdown of the citadle's power took place>>

<< Foxfire could now breathe a bit or relief. nearby the main counsel was a smaller screen which broad cast alternating views of camera's that still surveyed the higher levels of the Citadle>>

<< she found more information on Spellbinder and Shockwave....protocalls on their capture and possible extermination if attempts at capture prooved too damaging and costly. there were action photos of both women...along with a picture of Guardian...whose dark features and sparkling cobalt blue eyes seemed to "bewitch" Foxfire as she looked at them. She looked like a woman of power...a woman in control, just like Morgan.....but Foxfire had never met her before. She'd only met MorningStar, Morgan's long time aquaintence from years ago.....she wondered if MorningStar were one of the group she saw with Spellbinder.>>

<< she found a supply closet as well...filled with tools, small machines for healing and diagnostics as well as surgical tools ..and in another closest..she found some clothing :a black body contouring suit to wear along with a black slightly transluscent armoured breast plate, boots, arms and a psycho cannon>>

Haleigh caught her bag easily with her left hand as Eva tossed it to her... she thanked her as Alexis began to descend the shaft on her own. as she offered help... Haleigh didn't respond... except to wink and blow her a sarcastic kiss before squeezing her track with her right hand and sliding down the cables with surprising speed. Her feet hit the bottom a few seconds after Alexis... she picked up a green glowstick.... and looked around.... of course it was dark and grim feeling.... Haleigh reached up and unzipped the top of her suit slightly... to allow herself more room to breathe as she unhooked herself from the track.

"You know Alexis... I find it odd that you don't get along well with Alison and Morgan.... you're all equally as insufferably pompous."

She stopped and became serious though, as Alexis gave her a heads up to company.... she pulled out a small flashlight and clicked it on.... sweeping the imediate area. "WHERE is it, exactly?" She asked softly, pulling out a handgun.

« Pulleys and Ropes were not exactly Cameron's things as he watched the others make their way down the shaft and into darkness, save for the glowstick. He decided to try something that he had never done before as he jumped down into the hole, plunging at a great speed. He began to manipulate the telekinetic field around him, allowing him to somewhat grab hold of himself. Combined with his levitation powers, he soon found himself safely on the ground and along with the others. »

"Well, that was fun.."

« As he heard Alexis begin to talk of "company" he completely tensed up just as Haleigh pulled out her gun. Even with the glowstick the place was abnormally dark and seemed to be thick with despair. Whatever this company was he could definitely tell it didn't want to hold hangs and sing Michael Rode the Boat Ashore. Cameron charged the energy gloves on his hand as they began to emit a light from the bottom which was much like that of a black light, giving the group slightly more light as they waited for whatever it was to attack. »

"Come out, Come out wherever you are..."

Control Room

** Blaze relaxed for a split second, she was safe for now. Running her left hand through her messy locks, she saw a mirror hanging onto the wall. She gasped at how dreadful she looked, especially her eyes. It was almost as death was peering into her soul. Her natural green irises were harder and colder, rage and revenge filled them. Not having the courage to see herself this way, Blaze moved away from the mirror. A small scar written across her cheekbone from the acid attack earlier. It's stinging sensation was now just a dull ache but she ignored it. Massaging her forehead to calm the migraine she was suffering as her eyes scanned this room. She noticed several surveillance camera's portioned at different angles of the room. In one split second she saw movement, standing up from the computer chair quickly. She walked over to the large screen's to take a better view. **

"Looks like the Princess will be saved after all."

** The camera turned to view a haunting green shade for nightvision in the darker areas of the hanger bay at the Citadle. Just then did the sound system's blast frightful cries of pain. And suddenly the camera zoomed in on SPELLBINDER! Blaze's green eyes sparkled with hope as she watched her sister battle passionately. She found herself staring at the battle scene, it was amazing to watch her half -- sister. A sense of strong pride filled her soul to see her powerful sister tackle such nightmarish creatures. **

"That's my sister! Kill each and every one of them Morg!"

** She knew it was only a matter of time until Morgan found her. She knew how stubborn and passionate she could be when her mind was made up. Turning around she walked over to a small lab station that contained photo's of Spellbinder and Alexis. She began to read through the basic powers and abilities. **

Morgan Victoria aka Spellbinder, magickal detection, imitation, binding/ensnaring, mystical flame control, body transformation, astral projection, stepping disks.

Alexis Chander-Quartermaine aka Shockwave, Plasma balls or streams, energy balls, controlling electricity, controlling energy to the molecular level, stealing others energy through touch or absorption, and many other tricks.

Alison Marble aka Guardian, Unknown!

** Blaze read through the small power briefings the three of them shared but she found herself studying Alison's picture. Her eyes were haunting and alluring to Foxfire. She resembled a woman of power and prestige, it was no wonder why she was associated with Spellbinder. **

**Putting down the files, she moved to one of the closets angled at the side of the room. Opening this up she found various tools and what appeared to be a small operating microscope. Walking over to the small black lab table she took a seat and peered into the microscope, inside the lens was a chip. The SAME chip which was located on Blaze's right hand, her power chip! Throwing off her gloves she glanced down at her hand. It was indeed the same copy that was located under this machine. On the side of the machine read, 'Genetic stimulator.' Taking away the chip, Blaze placed her small cold hand underneath the tray. On this machine were two black buttons. Shutting her left eye to peer inside the microscope, she closed her left palm around this machine, pressing the button. A small stabbing pain struck her palm as she bit onto her bottom lip. Pulling her hand away, she saw the chip fall off. A fire began to ignite within her soul initializing her eyes to flame over this time. **

"Guess whose back!"

**Opening her hands she created a fireball which hovered in her palm. Getting up off the chair she moved to the second closet to see a more form sitting black suit. Snapping her fingers, her body engulfed with flames to melt away the ugly baggy suit. Her flames vanished as she walked over to the black suit. Placing this on she was now wearing a black body contouring suit to wear along with a black slightly translucent armored breast plate, boots, arms and a psycho cannon. **

** The camera's angle again pinpointing Prophet, Tempest, and Black Widow but there was no angle or location for Guardian. Blaze frowned at this, where could the bewitching beauty be? Foxfire wasn't going to stick around and find out. Spinning around her boots clicked against the flooring with her speeded pace, she walked with a cocky strut, Foxfire was back! **

"Its about to get very hot in here!"

** She smirked walking down the hallway with her psycho cannon strapped over her shoulder. She was just itching to use her powers this time and not some powerful weapon. Her body began to engulf itself on fire, which the suit sustained due to its rubber insulation. Her flaming body resembled the human torch as her eyes glew a mysterious yellow. Melting down various walls from her extreme body temperature. She was ready to be reunited with Spellbinder! **

Dark Tunnel

*Eva followed Alexis down as they both landed on top of the elevator. She looked up to make sure the other two were fine coming down, then looked around as Alexis waved the glowstick in a circle. She moved the flames into a ring and positioned them around both her wrists by the time the other two arrived on top of the elevator, noises sounding off around them could be heard. She looked over at Alexis and nodded her head before glancing over at Haleigh with her gun out, ready to start yet another argument with the group. She'd never learn.*

"Good luck trying to aim on top of an elevator hun."

*She winked at Haleigh and peered down at the broken down elevator doors only a few feet below them. Whatever it was coming at them was down there, and they weren't going to have much luck killing it first if they had no room. Eva took a small jump and spirled through the air like a top as she glided through the crack in the doors, landing on her feet in a crouch, lifting her arms up around her still down low to the ground. She couldn't see whatever it was yet, but the noise was definently louder. As she stood up carefully, she made a careful, slow 360 turn, looking around her as blood dripped off the ceilings, the ground beneathe her slightly damp and scorched from a previous battle. Rabbit had to have been here. Looking up ahead of her, she saw a few extra muscle pieces, a body organ or two, anything that wasn't already blasted to dust. There had been a fight, but where there were some bodies, there had to be more on the way. She stayed put, waiting for Alexis to come through before they continued moving on. She closed her eyes and quieted her mind and body as she paid extra attention to her surroundings, listening for the slightest movement possible before letting memories of the citadle pass before her, searching for the tunnel and it's ways down.*

:: Seeing Haleigh, Eva, and Cameron finally reach the top of the elevator, Alexis rolled her eyes at Haleigh and her stupid remark. Does this woman ever learn? If it wasn't for her and Cameron, Guardian would of never left in the first place, and they probably would of been in the citadle by now. Letting out a small sigh, she watched as Eva descended from the elevator shaft into the floor below. Stepping to the edge of the elevator, she tossed her green glow stick next to where Eva had landed, and turned to look at Haleigh before jumping down. ::

"FYI, I loath Morgan and Alison....and you can think whatever you want about me. But I'm here for a job, not to butt heads with you. Okay?"

:: Turning back around, her tone was not bitchy, nor insulting. It was just informative. Frankly, Haleigh was getting on her last nerve with her stupid insults and lack of professionalism in this situation. But she didn't want to fight, not in a time like this. So she let her catty comment slide instead of rebutting back. Finally Alexis surveyed the landing area below, and finally stepped forward, dropping from the top of the elevator to the ground below, landing in a similar position Eva did. Picking up her glow stick, she stood and looked around. Spellbinder was most defiantly here. Seeing the scorch marks, blood stains, and bodily organs didn't effect Alexis one bit, actually it was the complete opposite. It made Alexis happy, because Spellbinder killed a bunch of the infected creatures, so it leaves them with one less thing to overcome. Stepping forward, Alexis began to walk. ::

"Spellbinder was here...good we're on the right track."

:: Speaking to only Eva, she continued to walk with the brunette woman, as they awaited for Cameron and Haleigh. ::
