LOL! Did you want it for the girl on girl action it contains? One of my friends, Joe, wanted to rent it because he LOVES Alyssa and heard about the love scene.

I watched a second of it the other night on television when that guy was going down on her and it was so BAD!! She was moaning when he touched her leg, LMAO! :D And then the phone rang or whatever. It just humored me how bad her acting was just to shoot a sex scene. I imagine the other scenes were bad. :worry: ;)

Nah, I'm actually one of the rare few who isn't turned-on by girl on girl action. My basic premise being "I'd rather play the game than sit on the sidelines and watch".

It was on HBO about five years back and I didn't even know it was Alyssa Milano until probably half an hour in. lol

Still, that movie was better than Blindfold: Acts of Obsession in which Shannen Doherty proves once again that not even in softcore porn is there a place for her in the entertainment industry. ;) :D

Looks wise..i say shannen had a better body than Alyssa...especially in seasons 1 an 2. look at the way her clothes (all black ensembles, tight fighting and some leather) fit her. they were running NECK AND NECK for the "best rack" category...someone on original CB even said that (and got in trouble LOL). Alyssa was probably at her best (looks wise) in season 3.....but she sure aint going nothing going on NOW. :worry:

but of course i still base my pick on talent and movies ...in which Shannen Alyssa beat. and MAT..you are such a frickin pervert....LOL you and your "soft core" (and im sure HARD CORE) Porn flicks :p
 
Alyssa had that trashy appeal which is why I liked Shannon better look wise and acting. Shannon had this bad girl appeal BUT she knew how to dress too. Remember that tube top Phoebe had on, she looked like she layed around in butter to slip it on. ;) :igitt:

I always thought SD was more attractive, the eyes and the raven hair, I especially liked her in 90210 after she changed her brunette color to black and she cut it. :angel:

I actually agree with you guys in the body part. Shannen has a killer body and totally out beats Alyssa in that. Although I did think Alyssa looked her best in season 3 with her atheltic look. (now she's just skinny as hell).

But I face wise Alyssa is cuter to me. And shut the hell up Farrah! LOL. Alyssa is far from what turns me on. Try Julian! (Not on Charmed...I wasn't attracted to him on Charmed for some reason) :D:D:D Omg did you see him on Nip/Tuck this past week. Holy god. LOL
 
As someone who has seen both of the ladies in question naked I'm going to have to say Alyssa totally beats Shannen. Furthermore, though Alyssa is not exactly the most intriguing of personalities she is not well known for being a bitch, unlike Shannen who is pretty much hated by everyone who works with her. So Alyssa is better.

but on the serious tip...Shannen has been labeled a bitch by some...but at the same time Aaron spelling, Brian Austin Green, Gabrielle Cateris, and most especially Holly marie Combs have ALL defended her and stated (very similarly) that her commitment to her work and her tenacity is often mistaken for bitchiness. personally i dont see a problem with that. alot of people in ego have easily bruised egos and someone like Shannen wouldnt coddle them...and there are FAR WORSE "bitch" actresses in hollywood.

Alyssa is just about as exciting to watch as grass grow.

Well, that depends on your definition of bitch. If by bitch you mean a strong-willed woman who doesn't easily compromise her integrity, than by all means it's a good thing.

But when it's someone who is being unnecessarily unreasonable and unkind to those she interacts with, well...what a bitch! :D

And, of course, there is the 3rd bitch. A person who, though they may try not to succumb to another's obvious power over them, are nonetheless hopelessly left to placate their master as they are their master's bitch. ie Zorcrow being yours. <nods sagely>

Seriously though, both women have great bodies but most men seem to adore Alyssa more where as most women enjoy Shannon better....well some. I think Alyssa is more curvy in places than Shannon.

Attitude can be a sexy quality, its been known Shannon is an Aries, which are explosive for tempers. If anything I still think Alyssa provoked Shannon and then pleaded innocent by wrapping Aaron Spelling around her own finger. Holly even stood up for Shannon during that time period.

Look at Farrah...she's been labeled a bitch but she's proud of it. There's nothing wrong with being independent and unafraid to argue their point or even bitchfight it out lol. So many people feel this is a bad quality but its not. It just means, "I don't take shit." :D

Which is why I prefer Shannon as well, not only is she a better actress (Which has been said continously throughout the thread), but although Alyssa may appeal to some (and myself) in some cases in the looks department, it's the way she throws her sex appeal around that throws me off. It's as if she has to try and make up for the lack of talent by wearing anything and everything that she can squeeze herself into. (Which has to be almost everything now, considering how skinny she is). Really, it's time to stop shopping in the kiddies department and go take some acting classes.

Alyssa looked good in season three, when she wasn't extra thin like she is now, but now her body doesn't look as good to me, and although I haven't seen Shannon in a while - I still prefer her to Alyssa. No matter what ya'll say :whistle:.

Not to say Alyssa is a horrible actress, just in everything I've seen her in (Which is sadly limited to Charmed, which I haven't bothered to watch this season or most of the last), she hasn't been up to par with what I've seen of Shannon's acting ability. At least in my opinion :shrug: .

Shannen may be labeled a bitch, but Alyssa Milano is labeled in a tramp, almost every single movie she has ever done after Who's the Boss portrays her as a stripper, trollop or something worse, so BOTH of the girls have a label and personally I would rather be called a bitch rather than a slut lol.

Looking at their body of work, Shannen is up there with Heather Locklear in terms of respect... Aaron always creates the better roles for her.. Brenda had EVERYONE talking on 90210 and Prue was the strongest and most powerful woman character on the show. She gets roles that demand respect and women who are no holds barred, where as Alyssa Milano I feel gets cast because she is eye candy...

Ok I am a Shannen Doherty fan, so imo she is both the best actress and Prue is better than Phoebe.

Shannen has been in many brilliant films, and deserves recognition for them.

The Rendering - A really good thriller that got you sat on the edge of your seat.

Gone in the night - One of her best movies, her character Cyndi was great and I think she played the mother very well.

Sleeping with the devil - Her character Rebecca was good, the storyline was moving and she was just great as usual :)

Mallrats - Very funny :D She played René so well and had me laughing a lot.

I have seen more but I am just repeating myself so it's rather pointless, with Alyssa I have only seen her in Charmed and well I think I will leave it at that.

I hope to see Shannen in some new things soon :)
 
Just looking at these two its hard for me to favor either in terms of acting as I have not been particularly impressed by them. Alyssa is far better looking, and although she does carry aparty girl reputation I think she is far better liked than Shannen, who is labeled a real bitch. And I don't mean strong woman, I mean hard to deal with. I know she has defenders, but most of them are the powerful Hollywood types that she would trample costars and one-time friends to get next to anyway. I mean really, who is going to piss off Aaron Spelling?
I the end, neither of them arevery noteworthy actors, Alyssa is pretty (Shannen is not) and seems ti get along better with people.
