Saw The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo last night.
Decent movie, good performances by Daniel Craig and Rooney Mara.

The speech of the movie kinda bugged me, it was english but with a swedish accent, especially when it came to names, if they are doing with english speech why not properly? It felt a little off with the accent thing.

Still good movie, maybe not for the faint hearted.

Just got back from seeing The Iron Lady & it was AMAZING! Meryl Streep is truly one of our finest living actresses & she portrayed one of the powerful, controversial women in recent history w/ skill & precision that only she could! I highly recommend this film. It was (I thought) a very unbiased account of Magaret Thatcher & really give a look into the story behind the infamous "Iron Lady."

Went out w/ an acquaintance to see "Joyful Noise" sunday night. Dolly Parton & Queen Latifah both did an excellent job w/ their characters & their vocals were were in top form! Some of the plot points were thin & didnt quite seem to fit in but overall the movie was cute & had a few laughs in it.

Saw Snatch today (again) and still this is one of the best movies i have ever seen, i always laugh when i see this movie, and it always deliver :D

Finally a decent movie quality of The Descendants came online [suck it SOPA lol] so I was able to watch it last night. It was an okay movie. I don't really see why there's all this Oscar buzz around it and George Clooney quite frankly, but it wasn't horrible. However I wouldn't watch it again.

I just got back from a double 3D feature of Underworld Awakening and Beauty and Beast - both awesome, 3D only a bonus for BATB though :)

saw Chronicle nothing special but still a good enough movie. Though the trailer gave away the "Twist" and it borrowed heavily from anime so the plot was pretty transparent

Persephone
Persephone
Agreed. The three guys goofing around was entertaining and funny, then it just went down hill from there.
Finally saw Trainspotting, i liked it, good performance by Ewan Mcgregor, very decent performance by Robert Carlyle, portraying a violent sociopath.

Act of Valor - Absolutely awesome movie and highly recommend it for anyone who loves action or military based movies. It not only has the action aspect, but it just leaves you sort of speechless that actual people are out there doing what they portrayed so perfectly in this movie right now. Not only that, but really makes you think about the unknown dangers that comes to being an American post 9/11. Really epic movie.

Watched Girl with the Dragon Tattoo which was so good i read all three books and enjoyed them too, but they all make me want to avoid Sweden lol

That's what we generally do here in norway as well.
Watched Safe house on saturday, decent movie, but kinda saw it coming (the plot etc)

Watched Platoon on sunday (not recommended to watch when hungover, made me sad :()

The Hunger Games - Stayed really true to the book with only a few minor changes that didn't really effect the story at all. I loved it and thought it was fantastic! I definitely recommend it. :)

Watched Hunger Games myself and same opinion. Enjoyed it lots of fun and it stayed true to the books, can't wait for Catching Fire and Mockingjay

Yeah, it's really not bad. They cut away from a lot of the death scenes, mainly because I think it's kids being killed by kids and that's taboo. So I think you're mom will be fine.

I think the last movie I watched was Inception. It was okay I guess.

I think I'll go watch Kick Ass now since it's been sitting in my bedroom window for weeks. :p

I watched Crazy, Stupid Love last night. It wasn't at all what I expected and I really enjoyed it. Steve Carrell normally bugs the hell out of me but surprisingly good. Ryan Gosling certain has come a long way since I first saw him in Murder By Numbers.

Bridesmaids

I'd give it a 6 out of 10. Quite funny but could have been funnier and a little less depressing but all in all ok. Although I'll not be watching it again.
