No the acting and story are all wonderful, it just that the characters (and i guess they people they are all based on) are massive unforgivable assholes
 
just watch Don Jon, nice little movie. I think Scarlett Johansson's character could have gotten a little more development but for what it was it was nice

The hints that good people have good sex and bad people have freak sex was a message I found a bit awkward but I get what they were going for

Just finished Puella Magi Madoka Magica: The Rebellion Story (aka the movie sequel to the series), only this franchise could take a story about what happens when you force your happiness on others and turn it into a cosmic horror story. I'm waiting for the next one.
 
Captain America - The Winter Soldier was the perfect comic book movie and I recommend it to everyone
 
Maleficent

oh my goddess this was a beautiful film! It had subtle references to Disney's original animated version but it told a story that I don't think most people (myself included) were expecting to see when it came to Maleficent!

Angelina Jolie reminded me that yes, she CAN act! LOL :haha: & the young girl who played Aurora was truly adorable! King Stephan was such an unlikeable asshole. He was a terrible husband
he didn't even go to his queen as she lay on her death bed in her final hours
, father & most of all, he prooved that he was a terrible friend [ to maleficent in their early years] & overall human being.

I highly recommend this film. It will not shatter your memories of the original disney animated version, but it will tell the story in a sleek, dark, yet sympathetic way & yes, Maleficent's magickal power was AMAZING :D

Agree 100%. I absolutely LOVED this movie!
So watched Maleficent that was really nice dramatic movie, i enjoyed it greatly

then I watched How to Train Your Dragon 2, which i will admit made me cry a little
 
Watched X-men Days of Future Past and while it was good the subbing of Rachel Grey with Kitty Pryde makes zero sense since Kitty's powers don't include time travel . . .

Other than that gaping plot whole nice movie, and i loved the after credit sequence.

Apocalypse is coming!

well there's no accounting for taste here, is it? :p & next time, use the SPOILER TAG for the "after the credits" stuff just in case ;)
So because I hate myself i Watched Transformers 4 (Age of Extinction) which was without a doubt one of the worst movie I have ever seen.

I really can’t get over one scene in which creepy (20 year old) boyfriend pulls the statuary rape law loophole out of his wallet so its ok for him to date the (17 year old) female lead

Why?

What was the point of that?

Was that a gag from the writer’s room?

Why couldn’t they both be of age?

It is really bothering me on a fundamental level

besides the usual bad acting, disaster porn, bad plot and Marky Mark playing a scientist
 
Just watched "Neighbors" last night with Seth Rogen, Rose Byrne and Zac Efron...and I gotta say I thought it was hilarious and enjoyable. Rose is SO frickin' cute in this movie and there are a ton of hot shirtless dudes in it...win win for me! LOL
