The War Room
Ava sauntered over to him and before he could do anything about it, slammed his face into the table then threw him to the ground. He laughed as he spit the blood out of his mouth.
“Hey, babe, I like it rough too...”
She clearly felt the need to show how big and bad she was. He so did not have time for this shit.
He looked up at her darkly, then stood up, sneering as he wiped at the blood trickling into his mouth with the back of his hand. And then he got in her face.
“Do it. Come on, let’s see those balls of yours. Show me how tough you really are.”
He turned back to the table, and righted his chair roughly before sitting back down. He leaned back on the chair, crossing his arms.
“Oh, there’s no saving me – I promise you that sweets.”
He watched as Haleigh played her POV of the altercation in the park for Ava and CJ.
Even though he knew she wasn’t asking him, he didn’t care and gave his two cents.
“The faerie seemed to control…the magick stuff…with the flute. And she kept talking to Alexia about Ororo…and Alexia seemed to think the faerie was her friend. Also, the shield we saw Alexia use - the one that knocked us back - it looked like it was made out of the same stuff as what was around her when she was born.”
He couldn't look at Delilah while he said the last part, but he could feel her eyes boring holes into his skull.

Ava said:"There's a reason why men like you were CASTRATED in my time. You're disgusting. You think they [Haleigh and Delilah] can stop me from killing you? I would do this world a favor by ending your arrogant, self-righteous life right now."

Ava said:"I know this is about Alexia, and that's your only damn saving grace."

Haleigh said:”Do either of you recognize ANYTHING from that encounter? The Faerie, the carousel, the ship, the music?"
