<<On Earth it has only been hours since The Six left for A.I.M in the arctic circle. But the team had been gone for TWO WEEKS..spending the time recouperating in Limbo. They now returned to earth , to NYC and Illustra. Having contacted Alycia and Senator Sharon Kelly to deliver the good news about the destruction of NERVOUS, the team were all refreshed and renewed and a general sense of hope and ambition could be felt among them all as they returned to their individual lives with renewed spirit. Morgan even allowed Haleigh and Cameron to move back into Illustra and re settle on the residential floors they originally resided in at the top , private section of Illustra..ALL of the Six lived on the private residential floors at the high end of the sky scrapper>>

<< it was friday evening, and on the top floor of Illustra in the luxe penthouse apartment of Spellbinder, the voice of Celine Dion filled the air from the state of the art sound system. specifically, "The Christmas Song (Chestnuts roasting on an open fire)". Morgan herself was busy getting ready for a night of hob knobbing, high fashion and dancing at one of the premier clubs in NYC's elite club circuit. it had been too long since this supermodel strutted her stuff and flaunted her trademark legs along with the rest of her statuesque body while tripping the light fantastic. a striking list of celebrities would be there as well as other powerfull figures who maintained relevance in the youthfull scene. and for once...Morgan would be able to leave the mantle of Spellbinder here at Illustra....or so she hoped.>>

<< as she prepared herself and selected a stunning ensemble, other members of the six were on various floors of the private residential area of Illustra tending to their business. no doubt all of them had heard about tonights stylish party at Club XS and with the networking opportunities and other possibilities that loomed large...many of them would most likely avail themselves to this event as well>>

** Sage green eyes peered at the picture mounted across the dark crimson wall. Surveying every outline of that platinum double highlighted hair. Blinking long luxurious eyelashes, she cocked her head to the side. Turning around, her lingering shadow danced off the somewhat lite apartment complex above Broadway. Bare feet paddled across the hard wood flooring of her training room. Anger and rage rolled its ugly head in her dark demented soul. **

"Morgan Victoria!"

** Her full glossy lips parting to speak the name with contempt and hatred. Spinning around on the ball of her heel, she reached for a three pronged sai and viciously threw it at the blown up picture. The metallic sais whizzed with accuracy and precision. A loud thud echoed off the wall to alert its impact. Protruding out of the picture of Morgan's forehead was that same weapon Jasmine had just thrown. Narrowing her eyes, she folded her long and lean arms to tighten the pitch black turtle neck that covered her amble C chest. Stepping forward like a graceful cat, her dark jeans rubbed together as she stood in front of the picture. **

"I will have my vengeance!"

** Tucking a fallen piece of jet black hair behind her ear. Reaching up with her free right hand, she pulled the black hair tie from her hair, causing it to swish and layer around her shoulders. Shaking her head, thick jet steams flew around her head elegantly. Turning her neck to the side, she eyed the balcony of her apartment. Curving her lips upward to smile, she crossed the floor of her small apartment. Turning the brass handles she opened the door to be greeted by a small cold gust of air. Inhaling the pure sweet air, she stood outside now. **

"What are you up to my dear..."

** Turning she reached up to the siding of the apartment and expertly flipped up onto the roof. Her athletic body curving inward towards her stomach. Her hair blew lightly in the wind but she brushed it back enough to secure a sleek bun. Her bare feet rubbed against the small pebbles above the roof. Hidden in the corner was a MF2 Sniper Riffle with set. Pulling the black cover from it, she tossed it to the side. Scooping up the sniper riffle, she crouched down. Bracing the gun on a twenty -- five degree angle. She was motioning it towards Illustra. Shutting her left eye as she peered down her short scope, her right index finger moved around to the trigger. Licking her lips slowly, her red scope was a sophisticated weapon, it could blast through walls, see in night, and override certain electrical devices. She smiled more when Morgan came into focus. **

"Hello Barbie."

** She whispered under her breath, which blew small traces of ice. Jasmine didn't even feel the cold, in fact she enjoyed the colder temperatures. She stared at the statuesque woman with a stoic look now. Focusing the riffle, she pushed a small rectangular button on the side with her left thumb and index finger. A small clip sound was heard as she zoomed in on her target. The small red dots were directly around Morgan's forehead as she moved in her penthouse. Pretending to push the trigger, Frost chuckled under her breath, it was more of a cackle though. Pulling away, she stood up. Her apartment was several blocks away but with such powerful technology and her perfect vision, anything was possible. But, Frost knew it would be too cheap to attempt to assassinate Morgan Victoria. She wanted to battle her one on one. In a sadistic way she admired her fury but she also was disgusted by the former model. Returning the black cape over her weaponry, its outline disappeared enabling it invisible to the common eye. Walking to the edge, she reached down to the side and slowly her eyes bent forward, something out of a gymnastic show. With a whirling sound, she was planted on the marble balcony. **

** Once inside, the smell of incense intoxicated the mutant's senses, almost calming her shady demeanor. Locking the balcony and pulling the thick black drapes, she glanced at the picture again. **

"Soon."

** It rolled off her tongue easily, a bit of an Italian accent evident from her upbringing. Walking to the closet, she opened it. It was lined with hanging business suits dedicated with the most brilliant designers. In the background was the eclectic music of Enigma's "I love you, I'll kill you" playing. Picking out a pin stripped black and white suit, she would see about getting a job at the infamous Illustra. Looking up to the mirror, her cold and calculating reflection starring back at her. She noted her green eyes, her blue contact lenses would be a must on this trip. Jasmine's apartment was rather empty. Just a Queen bed, a nightstand, a bathroom, and a small television set. Simplicity was a must with her. **

** A little later and Jasmine was dressed and ready to go. Snapping her fossil watch on she picked out a black leather jacket to cover her business suit. She hardly needed it but if she wanted to wear this "human" facade she had to. Her thoughts lingered to Blaze but she pushed them away. Emotions were messy and she detested them. Jingling keys were placed in a small flat purse that was worn over her left shoulder. Locking her door, she closed it good -- bye for now. Bewitching blue eyes stared at the people outside as she walked to Illustra. Some of them looking her up and down, but Jasmine paid no attention. **

"Yo baby! Can I get some fries with that shake!"

** A medium sized black man with clothing of a hoodlum came bouncing up. His awful bad breath caused Jasmine to flinch. He circled around her with a nod, "girl you look good enough to eat!" He grinned up, his teeth full of gold caps. He almost resembled the rapper, Little John. He kept tormenting Jasmine when she reached inside her purse. "You got something for me baby?" She kept her cool, mentally memorizing his height and approximately weight. "I certainly do." Jasmine pulled out a ten dollar bill and dropped it to the ground. He reached down to pick it up and she cupped her hands over her mouth. A light blue aura formed and immediately a splash of ice formed to strike the man with dreads in the back of the skull. The tiny icicles formed and imbedded immediately as he collapsed onto the dirty side walk. The ice melted, leaving no evidence of her ice weapon. Turning around, she smirked again. **

"Men, so easy to manipulate."

::Madonna's "Shanti Ashtangi", from the Ray of light album played its relaxing, ethereal melody throughout Alison Marble's apartment. the deep beating bass, the dreamy electronica and Madonna's bewitching vocals provided a most appropriate vibe for one of the most mysterious members of the team. for although she had showed a softer, surprisingly HUMAN side of herself in the weeks following NERVOUS, her past...her motivations...and many other aspects of who she is were still unknown to most if not all of the Six..no one..not even Cameron could penetrate her psi screen and her power as a pre-cog gave her a distinct over the team when it came to perception and tactical savvy.::

::tonight would be most interesting when it came to just how Alison Marble would appear in public. Often regarded simply as a mysterious socialite with ties to the fashion industry and a dear friend of Morgan...Alison's "involvement" with Illustra was just as much of a mystery to the public as her past was to the Six. She had shown just how bold and daring she could be at the gala several months ago when she appeared in a daring black leather versace dress that would wouldve made Lil Kim blush. She also showed just how alluring and sexy she could be as she arrived on the arm of Diddy and spent most of the evening enjoying his company very closely.::

::what would she do tonight? how would she look and act? that would all have to unfold as SHE saw fit...and that was what made this "Guardian" so mysterious...even after nearly a YEAR of being with her team mates and going through so much with them::

:: she moved through her sprawling apartment...preparing to dress and style herself for tonights fun on the town.....and even as Illustra was already under the eye of a vengefull predator only a few blocks away, Alison moved about her business, thinking only of herself and THE MOMENT at hand.::

The World turns smoothly as if nothing has happened. New York City is as alive as always and the Holiday spirit fills the air with an excitement that is contagious. The Irony is not lost on Haleigh Davidoff, who stands, melancholy, before a white marble wall emblazoned with silver stars. The memorial is not unlike the CIA's Memorial wall, but this one is located in Clandestine Intelligence and immortilizes those who have worked for CI and died in service. Above the stars is the engraving as follows: In honor of those Agents who died in the line of duty

A Book, resting on a podium on display in front of the wall, is open to a new entry. The entry is a short biography on Blaze Fielding, star number 23 on the wall. Haleigh kneels and lays a dozen white roses at the base of the monument. Her voice is low and cracked and she doesnt know if Blaze can hear her, but must say something anyway, her head bowed down, her countenance stricken with pain.

"I'm so sorry it had to be you, Ace. It should have been me... and everyone in the Six, including myself, knows it. I was so headstrong... [shaking her head] I should have listened to you... and the guilt is more than I can bear." She paused, taking a deep breath and continuing on a more positive note. "Your sister and I reached a compromise... we have finally accomplished what you fought for, died for. Your death was not... will never be in vain, Blaze... and you will never be forgotten."

Haleigh is silent for minutes on end, immobile breifly before rubbing her eyes and standing once more. She turns to leave, though she's gotten no work at all done today. She rode the elevator to the top floor and waited in the sky lounge for her helicopter to arrive. She had spent all day in her office, zoning out. Even work had not released her from her distracted daze... In earth time, she'd only been alive a couple weeks... and most of it had been a blur, rushing to either stabilize her new company or save Alexis from her aunt... and then there was the AIM caper, which had taken them all away. Haleigh'd hardly had time to think about how different things were, now without Blaze. It mightn't be so hard if she could pick up the phone and call Cameron, have lunch with him again, talking and venting and laughing like they used to. He used to be a pillar of support for her, and now that she needed him more than ever their relationship was in utter disrepair... they'd hardly spoken while in Limbo... Haleigh wanted to clear things up with Alison before confronting him... and since Haleigh and Alison's paths never crossed during their time in Limbo, Haleigh had kind of avoided direct interaction with him, and instead sulked around distracting herself with the beauty of the Garden and Ororo's castle.

the Helicopter arrived and transported Haleigh back to Illustra in a matter of minutes. Haleigh had moved from her palatial estate in the East Hamptons and taken up residence in Illustra once more. Being a part of the group, which now had a feeling of camaraderie, was, to her, worth the sacrifice. She didn't put the home up for sale, however... she decided to keep it as a vacation spot or safe house, whichever she might need. She exited the Executive elevator once she reached her floor, which was quite soon since she was coming from the helipad on the roof and she lived on one of the top floors. She let herself into her presidential flat, tossing the keys on the table by the door and hanging her coat up. She had an hour or so before the party at XS. She hadnt planned on going... but she needed to get out and cut loose... drink a little bit... Haleigh paused by the sliding glass door, looking out past her balcony at the city lights. A particular laser light off in the distance caught her eye, a small red dot almost directly ahead. She stared at it... it seemed too low to be an aircraft nav light or a tower position light... and it appeared to come directly from an apartment complex... but even as Haleigh began to focus on it, it disappeared before she could lock onto the source, and as a result she couldnt exactly determine its source. She shook it off and left the window, unaware it was a firearm sight that had targeted Morgan, a couple floors above. She instead began to get dressed for a night on the town, brushing her curiousity off. Probably somebody's appliance power light or something... I DO have bionic sight, after all. I think I've grown to be paranoid schitzophrenic. Who could really blame me, though, with how many people have tried to kill me?? Haleigh chuckled softly to herself, shaking her head. Maybe she imagined it.

:: Alexis was in a mental debate on whether she wanted to go to this party at Club XS tonight that has been the talk of the town. Even though she had found the relaxation she needed in Ororo's garden; felt somewhat whole again, Alexis had yet to step foot outside of Illustra in her true form, to face the public. It sickened her that even now, tabloids still spoke about the Gala that happened almost a 3 weeks earlier. Each rumor growing into outright lies. Inhaling a deep breath in through her nose, Alexis stood from her couch and began to make her way down her hall and into her bedroom. Dressed in plum silk pajama pants and a black long sleeved top, the meta human proceeded to head to her walk in closet, flipping on the light switch as she entered. ::

"You got to snap out of this funk, Lex."

:: She whispered to herself as she began to scan the various designer outfits that hung in her massively huge closet. It was a wonder how anyone could single out one outfit from thousands...but Alexis normally expressed herself through her clothing, therefore wearing exactly how she was feeling at the moment. Letting out a heavy sigh, Alexis took a step forward toward a row of nothing but dresses. Pushing each dress aside to get a better look at the next, her eyes fell upon a dress that just seemed to click with her mood. Standing on her tippy toes, she grabbed the black hanger removing the dress from it's resting position. Casually pulling back the fabric to get a better look at the tag, Alexis' brows rose with delight. ::

"Dolce; nice."

:: Dolce always seemed to boost her mood; funny how she always seemed to pick out that designer absentmindedly when in one of her funks. Stepping out from her closet, she tossed the dress onto her bed as she made her way past it. Disappearing into her bathroom, Alexis began to get ready for this evening. She had no idea how it was going to go down--hopefully better then her Gala Event....That’s all she needed, more dead relatives wanting a family reunion. ::

** After a few hours had passed, Jasmine met with a few members of Illustra who looked over her resume. It was an impressive one and they would set up an interview in the following days for the secretary position. The wintery mutant could get an exclusive look at these people, especially that Morgan Victoria. While there, her observance proved such an asset, overhearing talk of a social gathering of the club, XS. Her sisters! A wicked grin plastered over her face as she stood up, buttoning up her blazer. "Thank you Ms. Fielding?" Jasmine smiled, "my cousin...Blaze worked here." The woman nodded, making a note how similar the two looked. Peering down at her watch, Frost had to go. Picking up her jacket, she slipped out the front end of the entrance. **

** Guess who was going to buy, club XS? One guess, kids. That's right, Ms. Jasmine Klein. And she was one of the richest people around, if not one of the ruthless. Making the extra walk, she stopped by the club. Its expensive taste was remarkable but nonetheless, it would be bought out, starting tonight! "Excuse me miss, may I help you?" Jasmine peered up at the muscular bold man who appeared to be a Vin Diesel knockoff. "You sure can, I want to see Mr. Barker." She went to side step when he stood over her, dwarfing her. "You'll need an appointment." Frost turned towards him, "well I'm making an appointment now, I have personal business.." He frowned but glanced at the closed door, "wait here.." Jasmine flashed a model smile, "okay.." When he left, she tapped her watch and inside was a tiny dart inside with a special liquid gel to knock someone unconscious. Plucking it she slide it up the sleeve of her jacket. Folding her hands in front of her, she waited. The sound of heavy footsteps echoed in the hallway to signal the bodyguard. "I'm sorry, he ca.." With a dazzling flick of the wrist, Jasmine flung the dart to the man's jugular. Immediately he collapsed. Pretending to care, she crouched down to pull the dart out, slipping it into her pocket. "This man needs assistance." Several people running over as Frosty stepped over him. **

** Her leather ankle boots clicking loudly onto the black marble flooring until she reached Mr. Barkers office. Opening it, he looked up from his desk. "Who are you?!" He demanded with a firm tone. Kicking the door behind her shut. She snapped her fingers and a small chunk of ice surrounded the knob to freeze the spring and the small nails. "Why, I'm owner of this club! Blaze Fielding was my sister and its mine now." He frowned and shook his head, "she doesn't have a sister, just a half sibling, Morgan." Snapping her fingers together a block of ice about an inch wide formed around Mr. Barkers mouth, freezing it shut. "Don't speak of the bitch's name! A new sheriff is in town." She walked around to kick his chair back with the back of her black heel, knocking him backwards. "Your being bought out my dear." Unbuttoning her jacket, she flipped out a small Motorola. "I will wire the money immediately." Yanking him up by the tie, she pulled him close to her face. **

"Your bolding, near overweight, and you cheat on your wife. A man like you deserves nothing! But because I'm feeling rather well, I'll buy your share out." Shoving him backwards, she stomped her heel on the guy's chest, pinning him there. "Ahhh, cell phones suck!" She finally reached her father, "daddy...I'm buying club XS, would you wire the money to Mr. Barkers account, its.." She threw the phone at him. Poor Mr. Barker was a chubby looking man with that old comb over style with business suits and yellow teeth. His body shook with bright when Blaze snapped her fingers as the ice melted from his lips, enabling him to speak. Grabbing her cell, she shut it closed. "good boy!" Yanking his tie forward, he was jerked forward from the chair, falling at her boots. "Now, take your little vacation and go! You've just been fired!" He got up when she grabbed both sides of his skull, "BUT, humans always talk! So I can't let you go.." Running the side of her palm down his face, her eyes grew a bright aqua shade due to the contact lenses. "did I tell you about the brain freeze?" She cackled as his face began to get blue but his head was losing blood due to the fact it was frozen. Veins started to pop out, especially the blue ones. His nose bleeding heavily as she used her mind to freeze more. "Sucks huh?" Her hand printed across his face while she eyed her watch, "drop dead already!" Suddenly he collapsed down, dead. **

"Finally! Christ." She returned to the desk when she placed a small ear bud in her ear, connecting her to her comrade. "Bring in house cleaning, I made a mess." In the blink of an eye, several members walked in and grabbed Mr. Barker and blinked out. "Gotta love that Haleigh, chick for her services..." Returning to the computer, she typed away to crack his password, mainly she was a hacker. Deleting his old files, she correctly the lead title of owner: Jasmine...Fielding." Pushing herself off the desk, she opened the window to allow cool air to flood the room. Turning, she opened the door to see several concerned staff, "Mr. Barker has quit...I'm the new owner. He has informed me of his departure. First thing on the agenda...a raise to all staff by 50%." The staff cheered and clapped. She nodded, "yes...out with the old and in with the new.." Eyeing her watch, she noted the time, "Your all doing fabulous but if you'll excuse me I've got to change." She smiled and slipped out. Nobody seemed to care about Mr. Barker, money talked and with Jasmine it spoke fluently **

Haleigh was among the first on the scene. The Papparazzi was already set up and the silver Rolls Royce Phantom got everyone's attention. It was a flashy luxury car that meant both money AND high society class. Haleigh had chosen it on a whim because she'd liked the 'extra features'.... It was her Batmobile. ;) She slid out of the driver's seat and closed the door, greeting the flash photography with a pearly, knowing smile. She didn't squint, despite the bright lights, as she paused and made incremental turns for a couple of smiling candids. A valet approached her and offered to park her car, his eyes betraying a gleam of excitement. Haleigh smiled, a wicked tease of a smirk, and handed the boy a fifty dollar bill as she shook her head.

"I have a personal driver, but thank you."

She said, brushing past, leaving him puzzled as the car drove away. The windows were tinted too darkly too see that there was no driver at the wheel as it sped off. Haleigh worked the red carpet with confidence and poise. She knew she looked stunning, her blonde hair elegantly updone and modeling the sweeping thigh length white dress she'd selected for the night. It was halter top style and backless and she stopped at the entrance to throw a mischeivoud glance back at the cameras, the customary over-the-shoulder picture. the bouncer stood in her path, ahead of the velvet rope that cordoned off the entrance to the swanky hotspot dance club. He raised a clipboard and gave her an inquisitory look. As soon as she gave him her name he moved aside, unclipping the rope and allowing her to pass without even glancing at his clipboard.

Bouncer:"Welcome to Club XS, Ms. Davidoff. Your usual table is ready and waiting, and if there's anything we can do for you, don't hesitate to ask a server. Enjoy your night."

Haleigh nodded with graceful acceptance and slipped past him, glad she'd called on the way to insure she was still on the VIP list. At least some things hadn't changed. As she sashayed across the dance floor to the table she usually occupied, a couple of catcalls sounded over the music. Haleigh glanced over to her left, a playful 'only in your dreams' look at the group of rowdy and overly eager college boys from which the sounds orignated. Haleigh figured they knew the new owner or something, to be allowed in to such a prestigious party, for she knew tonight XS had been closed to the general public to allow for the comfort of its more distinguished clients. Haleigh figured the male attention was par for the course tonight, for she'd not exactly dressed conservatively. While she maintained class with what she wore and was gauranteed to be out-skanked, the way her cleavage-teasing snow white dress clung loosely to her figure and the flutter of the hem over her thighs as she passed was... tantalizing, to say the least. Haleigh cased the place, pleased to see no structural or decorative changes had been made. There were a couple of other groups of people mingling about, mainly b-list actors in town for the event and hoping to network. Haleigh was attended to by a male server nearly as soon as she settled in the round booth, and she politely ordered a Long Island Iced Tea. Those always had a nice kick for her and she needed to unwind, so something effective was the way to go tonight.

** Cold and calculating eyes probed throughout the packed club of XS. She was there and no doubt she noticed Haleigh's entrance but this was not the Haleigh she knew for the look was different, so Jasmine figured the elegant blonde was a super star. The room was after all packed with them. Jasmine herself wore a long white gown designed by Prada. It contoured her hour glass figure perfectly and it complimented her model like looks. The dress itself shimmered with black lace that came just a little above the ankle and wrapped around the neck line like that of a halter, no open back. A plunging neckline revealed "amble cleavage" that was playful yet tasteful. Keeping the center of the dress in place was a round gold ring that added style and grace. Sandal pumps were worn and diamond earrings that dangled down to her shoulders were nice accessories. And lastly Ms. Klein's hair was styled into an updo. **

** Standing in off to the side of the club, she spoke with various club officials with how well the party was going. Even though she just purchased it or rather killed for it, it was definitely worth it. A chilled glass of champagne was held in her left hand as her gold bracelets shinned in the lighting from above. She flashed a brilliant smile to hide her disgust. She was quietly scanning the crowd for her, where was she? Most likely she would show up fashionable late, that's so typical of a Victoria. Blinking her eye, she cursed under her breath, making sure it was not audible. Her contact lens was dying up, she would have to take them out. Excusing herself from the others she headed for the bathroom when she accidentally bumped into Haleigh. Stopping, she spun around quickly on those pumps, "I'm so sorry." She reached out to touch her on the shoulder. How she detested this friendly act, but she had to be polite. **

** Reaching up, she moved her contact lens back over the iris as she blinked to moisten them. And it didn't help Frost's power dried these up but luckily she could control water. Small tears rolled down her cheeks as she wiped them away. "Much better." Her eyes focused on Haleigh and a small crease formed on her forehead, "have we.." She paused to scan her memory banks, "you remind me of someone, I could have sworn we have met." Tilting her head to the side. Besides the same height and weight as Blaze, Jasmine wore the same perfume, Cool Water, as her younger sister. She was pretty sure her cover was protected. "Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Jasmine...Fielding." She outstretched her hand as she stood on the right side of her heel. "And you are?" She perked a curious brow at such a young looking woman. Jasmine wasn't even sure if this girl was twenty-one but if she was on the list, she was in. "I'm owner of this club." Her voice straight and to the point but with tidbits of an accent. Same exact tone as Blaze though, that calm and soothing tone. In ways she was a mirror of some personality features of Foxfire. Facing her hand, palm up it was ice cold, like something out of Antarctica. Taking a small sip of her champagne, her eyes stirred back onto Haleigh, awaiting a reply. She didn't even know she was talking to Black Widow, the woman who supplied her family everything, including that fancy little watch she wore. Tonight would be memorable. **

Haleigh had ordered her THIRD drink before leaving her secluded table for the restroom. The party was alive now, several a-listers were beginning to show up. Despite the fact that Haleigh had business [and pleasure] relationships with many of these people, only Ewan Mcgregor had approached her, and he was looking for a hookup... Haleigh danced with him, to 50 Cent's "A Lil Bit", a nicely paced song that the two made the most of, dancing provacatively and beginning to stir up the club atmosphere enough to get a busy dance floor. Haleigh laughed politely at his jokes and complimented his english accent, but declined allowing him to buy her a drink. He didnt recognize her because her new face was so radically different than her original one, but they'd slept together before... in fact, many times after they met at a photoshoot... and the sex was GOOD... it was just that Haleigh had Zach now... and he was one she wanted to keep. She excused herself to 'freshen up', feeling a little tipsy anyway. It didnt help that she hadn't eaten since breakfast.... she was beginning to feel her body catalyze the alcohol.

She heard someone shriek loudly and turned to look out of instinct, it was just someone happy to see another and as Haleigh rolled her eyes and turned back around she ran abruptly into Frost. The woman apologized but Haleigh didnt bother speaking, and as the woman reached out to be friendly Hales rolled her shoulder back to avoid being touched. She had no idea why people in clubs were SO touchy feely with complete strangers. the light in the club shifted and illuminated the area breifly, giving Haleigh a quick look at the woman's face as she fixed her contact. Haleigh gasped and stepped quickly back once, her heart LITERALLY missing a couple beats. Her eyes widened and then she recovered, shaking the image away. Blaze was gone... she must have been imagining it. But then the woman spoke, and gave her name, and Haleigh listened closely to the accent. She stared in the darkness, her eyes adapting instantly. She ALSO felt like they'd met before... and not because she'd been reminded of Blaze... but because she felt like she seen her somewhere... not that theyd met directly, neccessarily, but that she'd been in the background of a business meeting at someone's house. It must have been someone big, for Haleigh to make a house call... but she could distinctly remember italian imported furniture. She tried harder to remember... but the vodka made things fuzzy and Haleigh resigned after a few moments. Had she been suited up, she would have immediately been able to identify her as Frost... thanks to DNA matching and having scanned all those files from Nervous... and with the identification, she would have known the woman's TRUE name.... as for now... Haleigh just felt something was.... off.

At the same time... Jasmine's uncanny resemblance to Blaze and the last name she gave staggered Haleigh... she was torn between not quite trusting what the woman was telling her and WANTING to trust her. She made the first mistake she had in a long time... she went with her heart, and exposed herself to a dangerous situation without thinking it through.

"Are you sure??" She laughed shortly and shook her head, trying again. "I mean, i know thats a ridiculous question, are you sure that's your name... but I feel like I've met you before too... and I feel like your name should be something else. Wait... you're the owner?? Thats strange."

Haleigh furrowed her brow but took the woman's hand and shook it, immediately recognizing her own handiwork... now she knew they MUST have met somehow... or else she was tied closely with a good business partner... for there were SOME gadgets that werent for sale to jsut ANYONE... and this woman was wearing one of them. Haleigh noticed immediately how COLD the woman's hand was... and knew Frost would definitely notice how warm her hand was in return... for Haleigh's body temp was always above 110 degrees. Haleigh felt a moment of reservation, but alcohol made her slightly careless and she continued anyways.

"I'm Haleigh Davidoff... I am-- [quietly]was... very close with the former owner. I don't recall her mentioning you. EVER."

the bitchy belle of the ball

<< putting the finishing touches on herself, Morgan was now fierce, glamorous and ready to hit the town, her peers and the tabloids with a powerfull "one-two" punch that only SHE could be famous for>>

stepping out of the express elevator to a quiet, crystaline lobby on the ground floor of Illustra, Morgan was provocative as ever this evening wearing a Black, leather, Gucci-plunging halter mini dress w/a sparkling pure white diamond "double G" ornament topping off the outfit with sexyBlack, leather Gucci four inch spiked heeled knee boots w/ solid sparkling white diamond buckles. It was the perfect mix of exquisite leather and diamond bling while at the same time exposing MUCH of Morgan's celebrated cleavage and trademark FLAWLESS long legs. Her hair was pulled back into an upward pony tail which was full bodied and crimped out giving her a trendy club look. her eyemake up was smokey and fierce giving her a far darker and alluring countenance in contrast to her sparkling icy violet eyes...the woman looked like a sexy , dark erotic valkyrie...and would be quite a shocking sight for the other members of the Six as well>>

<< primping for a moment before a black super stretch cadillac escalade w/ golden lights and accents rolled up to the circular drive of Illustra's front...Morgan turned to see her date...a beautiful man by the name of Boris Kodjoe who was dressed in a in a black Kenneth cole shirt which was strategically unbuttoned to reveal his adonis chest along with masculine cut Kenneth cole black leather pants and matching black Kenneth Cole loafers w/diamond buckles and black socks. his smile gleamed with devilsh delight as he awaited the arrival of his bewitching date for the evening at the hottest ticket in town. Diddy stepped out as well...dapper and sexy in Sean Jean Leather ensemble consisting of a straight lined cut jacket and leather pants that allowed a teasing view of his own built chest.. he winked at Morgan>>

Gentleman.....so glad you could join us tonight!

<< strutting up to the beautiful model/actor, Morgan pressed up against him and they exchanged a friendly, flirty, yet passionate kiss as he examined her provocative dress and she his rock hard abs. after they disengaged, Morgan gave Diddy a kiss as well..a friendly kiss on the mouth. It was clear that Morgan and Alison were quite friendly and connected to Diddy and Boris and many other powerfull, beautiful celebrities.>>

<< in an icy voice>> Alison will be along any moment boys. Madonna and Alycia will be arriving together since they were in the area and our VIP lounge is already reserved.

<<the super model, rap mogul and actor all waited for Alison Marble to arrive so that they could be on their way so they could steal the scene at the red carpet with their friends, Madonna and Alycia Barnett.>>

and they make the scene!

::"BLINKING" into view on the ground floor behind a wall away from the front...Alison appeared. She was wearing a CELINE- odessa black mini dress w/floral applique and sheer accent. she stepped forward, bare legged, wearing Envious black, open toe stilletto heels w/skinny belt accent and canary yellow diamond buckles the spiked heels were simple and didnt take away from the sleek, sexy outfit that Alison was wearing with titillating effect. Her blue/black hair is sleek and bone straight, just above the shoulders and parted down the middle in a bouncy chinese bob. She looked for all the world like a sultry bird of prey and once again she would shock members of the Six and paparazzi alike in an outfit that was so OUT of character for her.::

:: she quickly made her way out to the main area of the Lobby..spotting Morgan, Boris Kodjoe and Diddy::

::her voice was less commanding, softer with a lilt:: Morgan, you look FABULOUS! ::the two women hugged as the men nodded with agreement ::

Boris. ::Alison greeted him with a hug and a kiss::

Diddy!!!! :: they seemed to be rather fond of each other as he hugged her tight and close...his hands moving down further on her back as they kissed::

:: as they all admired each other's good looks and cutting edge style. they got into the limo and with the sipping of Cristal champagne and friendly, flirty conversation the group was whisked across town to XS...pulling up right to the red Carpet...and JUST IN TIME as the crowd was already growing WILD with the arrival of Madonna looking ever so sexy in Jean Paul Gaultier and Alycia Barnett!!! who was also OUT of character in a Calvin Klein black mini dress with silver heeled stillettos and her hand slicked back in a glossed do.::

::flash bulbs began to go off faster and the din of their shutters filled the air as fans and paparazzi screamed for attention and poses::

:: Morgan, Alison, Madonna and Alycia all greeted each other on the red carpet and exchanged hugs and kisses..much to the delight of the crowd...and as they made their way, Diddy and Boris joined the women flanking either side of the foursome. finally stopping at a photo wall, the powerfull group of celebs struck poses for the camera...including a pose where Madonna is kissed on either cheek by Morgan and Alison while Diddy and Boris replicate that move on Alycia!::

:: the buzz from the outside reaches the INSIDE as word gets around about who is arriving and chatter starts to grow as people move towards the doors::

:: the women and their men have MADE THE SCENE::

:: Alexis’ sleek black limo slowly pulled to a stop in front of the red carpet extending up to Club XS. Looking out the tinted windows to the paparazzi perking up, she knew if she went out as herself, she would be hounded left and right. Lifting her chin–a trademark made popular by her aunt–Alexis stayed in the car for a few moments, brushing back her side swept blonde bangs from her eyes. Turning to her limo driver, she saw his eyes scanning her through the review mirror. Nodding to him giving him the cue to go ahead and open the doors for her, the driver nodded back and opened the driver side door stepping out. Clearing her throat, her sapphire hues watched as Dennis (who happened to be her father Adam’s limo driver many years ago), make his way around to her door. As he leaned down, pulling the handle, the paparazzi perked up anticipating who it might be emerging from the limo. Right as Dennis pulled open the door, the faint reminisce of white lights could be seen illuminating the inside of the dark vehicle. Dipping her head down, Alexis placed one foot onto the solid pavement and stood finally revealing "herself". Smirking very subtly as the photographers sighed with disappointment at the unknown beauty, Alexis sashayed down the red carpet to the entrance of Club XS. Noticing the bouncer looking to her with a questionable expression on his face, well damn, Alexis didn’t think this through quite well. ::

"Why hello there..."

:: Smiling to the stone faced large man, Alexis narrowed her eyes slightly noticing he wasn’t budging. Letting out a soft grunt, well, desperate times call for desperate measurers. Folding her arms along her chest as the bouncer burned a hole into her forehead, Alexis subtly snapped her fingers as the club lights, inside and out began to flicker. The bouncer and paparazzi began to look around in confusion, until finally, the entire club went pitch black. A frenzy of chattering began to erupt, questioning what could possibly be going on. Slipping past the bouncer casually, Alexis opened the door to the darken club, snapping her fingers once more as the lights and blaring music that was once thumping within the crowded club immediately came out, revealing the questionable looks on the guests faces. Stepping forward, Alexis was in her true form now. Dressed in a sleek black designer jumpsuit, it wasn’t something Alexis would typically wear. Fully prepared to come dressed to impress with a Dolce dress, she decided to go with something a little different; something that people wouldn’t normally picture her in. Walking across the club floor, her black open toed heals clicked softly against the marble flooring; the sound completely overtaken by chatter and loud music. Lifting her slender finger to her should length blonde hair, Alexis brushed it away from her face, looking around the packed club to see if any of the other members had arrived yet. Noticing Alison and Morgan dressed...well, dressed in outfits she would of never pictured them in, the meta human’s brow raised ever so slightly as an amused smirk danced along her lips. They were both full of tricks these days; especially Alison of all people. Pushing her way past some obnoxious people, Alexis made her way up to both woman, giving them a small smile. ::

"Well, well, well..don’t you two look sharp."

:: Her tone was playful, Alison and Morgan obviously noting her shock. Looking to their guests around them, she nodded casually as she played with the black silk scarf that was wrapped around her neck. Glancing around the club through smoky black eyes, her blue orbs popped just as much as Alison’s did as the neon lights randomly danced along the main floor. She hadn’t been here since Blaze had died, and from the looks of it, business seemed to be doing well. It was somewhat strange, yet in a way, somewhat ratifying knowing that the group was taking steps forward. Herself included...well, somewhat. ;) ::

[ Delilah walked aimlessly around the apartment, touching a piece of furniture now and then absentmindedly. Everything about the place said one thing: Blaze.

When Morgan has suggested that Delilah move into Blaze's old penthouse at Illustra, she had been honored. But now, with memories of her old team mate and friend flooding back to her, she wasn't so sure it was a good idea.

Morgan had had someone bring her things from her old apartment: a sunny if small walkup in Alphabet City. She looked at the few boxes and suitcases that now sat in a corner. Her clothes would hardly fill a quarter of ONE of the massive closets in the apartment. Delilah Trelaven, unlike her high-powered friends, was not wealthy. She led a simple life - by no means wanting for any necessities - but she was not used to this style of living. Anything material she wanted she had to work hard for.

She sat down on the crimson leather sofa. And now she was supposed to be getting ready for a night out with the others at Blaze's old club. She looked at Morgan and Alison like family, but she would be lying if she said she didn't feel at least a tad uncomfortable and out of place at some of the situations she found herself at with them. They were Valentino and she was...well she didn't even know what she was. The tomboy in Blaze would have understood...

And then she had an idea. She got up and went to the bedroom. She flung open the door to the massive walk in closet. She flipped through outfit after outfit - Blaze had been smaller than Delilah - but she finally found something that suited her. She would never be as glamourous as the others, but at least now she would look like she belonged.

She dressed quickly in the short textured skirt and revealing top combination. It had a hard edged metallic look but was comfortable enough, matching Delilah's personality. After spending a few seconds trying to decide whether she could fit her badge in someplace, she decided against it, picking up a small bag off a shelf full of them and slipped it inside. As she slid on a fur-lined full length coat, she laughed to herself. Wasn't it she herself who laughed at the women she saw on the street who refused to dress for the weather?

Taking the elevator downstairs and getting into the driver's seat of her awaiting silver Lexus SC, she drove herself to XS. Tentatively handing the keys to the valet - she never did like handing her car keys to complete strangers - Delilah entered the club. Giving her name at the door and checking her coat, she took a deep breath and joined the party. ]

<< another photo op came as Alexis caught up with Morgan and Alison and their group of power players. as Morgan motioned for Alexis to turn around and face a group of paid professional photographers who were capturing the nights events.>>

<< Alexis stood with Morgan, Alison, Madonna, Diddy and Boris and as they took photos, Morgan smiled a bit as she looked upon Alexis>>

<< in an icy voice>> well thanks! I'm liking this outfit YOU have on too! << running her hands over the scarf that wrapped around Alexis slender figure>> this is VERY chic!

its been so long....and I figured the best thing to do would be to host this event HERE at XS. To honor Blaze's memory and hard work as well as allow for some much needed networking and a chance for us to let our hair down. its gonna be a hot time on the cold town tonight.

<< she winked as a chime sounded off in the air. unaware of what unpleasant and SHOCKING news would come to her in the person of Jasmine Klein who was somewhere in the building...already sinking her icy hooks into Haleigh.>>

<< for now, as the flash bulbs popped, the champaing flowed, the music pulsed and the beautiful people danced and mingled...this moment was Morgan's and she intended to enjoy herself to the fullest.

[ Delilah decided to get a drink to relax herself before looking for Morgan and the others. Walking up to the bar, she ordered a whisky. The barman started to give her Bushmill's, but she knew from many an after-work drink with Irish cops that Bushmill's was "Orange whisky", and instead asked for Powers.

She held the rocks glass in her hand and sipped the drink slowly, as she leant with her back to the bar and looked around the room, searching for a familiar face. ]

:: as another moment to flash and floss passes, Alison greets Alexis and she too appreciates the soft, elegant, yet glamorous outfit the metahuman is wearing::

:: Alison makes her way past her date, Diddy who definately doesnt pass up the chance to cop a feel on her ass as she walks back toward the bar...and once there, she runs into Delilah!::

Delilah!! ::touching the woman's shoulder:: Hey girl! look at you all dolled up in this fabulous high fashion!

:: sliding into a seat next to her Alison orders hennesey for Diddy and a pina colada for herself::

are you going to join Morgan and the rest of us in our VIP lounge? you know we want you there.

::Alison smiled...and her face seemed so alive with allure and dark delight...it had been a while since EITHER woman had a reason to smile::

[ Delilah smiled genuinely - relieved to find a friendly face. ]

"Alison! You look fabulous! I was just getting a drink before I set out to find you all."

[ Surveying the scene once again, she then turned towards Alison. ]

"Everything's back to normal now, it seems."

::Alison couldnt help but smile. she'd drawn so many reactions for her dress...and Alexis and Delilah were the first of the group to see her in it. She couldnt wait to see the reaction from Haleigh and even her brother, who was mortified by her LAST eye popping Versace dress at the Gala a few months back.::

:: looking out over the crowd on the main floor and feeling the beat of the music flow through the air::

yes, Morgan's sister had a most excellent club and I'm GLAD that Morgan has revived it in the name of her Sister. She's planning on making a speech tonight in her sister's honor so its good that we all could be here.

:: she winked at Delilah, knowing that she would appreciate the tribute as much as everyone else in the group for she too had a past history with Blaze back in the day of Valiant.::

grab your drink and come with me. We'll be in a suit on one of the upper floors with Morgan, Madonna, Diddy, Boris Kodjoe and Alycia.

:: she helped lead Delilah through the crowd, to meet up with Morgan. Madonna had already gone up to the lounge suite...but Diddy and Boris were on hand with Morgan...and as Delilah and Alison drew near...the two men eyed Delilah with intrigue::

[ Delilah followed Alison, feeling the pulse of the music. As they reached the group, she hugged Morgan hello. ]

"Ooh I love your boots Morg!"

** As Jasmine awaited a reply she noted how the blonde backed away when she touched her. Good, both detested touchy -- feelly none sense. Clearing her voice, she turned to overhear the crowds reaction and running photographers. It meant one thing! The big bad bitch and her cohorts had arrived. This caused Jas to actually smile but it was more wicked than genuine. Haleigh's question rang in her ears as she drew them back onto Black Widow. "I'm more than sure, I was born that name.." It was just a shame it really was not hers until years later. Immediately bells rang inside Frost's mind, so this little blonde bombshell was clever but who was she really? She patiently waited, her blue eyes intensely locked. She was secretly trying to figure out who this girl was. If she was a threat to her cover, Jasmine would have to terminate her. Pushing the thought away, her cold hands began to sweat, which was highly unlikely. Releasing the shake, she felt an enormous heatwave rock her body like lightning. Blinking her long eyelashes, she steadied herself by leaning on the other leg. Running her perspiring hand along the crisp champagne glass to soothe it. Taking another sip she choked on the bubbling liquid, Haleigh Davidoff. Coughing quickly as the other liquid maneuvered through her lungs. Tears rolling down her cheeks as she gasped for air. **

** Recovering her moment of weakness she smiled, "I was never really a champagne person." Her body dropping in temperature again but already her forehead was soaked. Deciding to let her hair down, Jasmine reached up from the pin and released a set of full jet black hair. Falling to her shoulders, she did not comment on the girls name. Who was this childish wench? "Its lovely to meet you Haleigh...I'm the cousin of Blaze Fielding. I was left in her will to take over this place. That's probably why you have not heard of me." She winked. **

"I heard your infamous for that company of yours...I have someone you'd love to meet. Follow me."

** Slipping past a few officials, Jasmine lead Haleigh to the back office. She had a plan to test this little girl. Thoughts rambling through her mind, but none of it was revealed through those icy irises. It would be in Jasmine's favor that Haleigh was slightly intoxicated. Once they entered into the office, Jasmine froze the door knob again. **

** And in a blur of movements she reached out with her right hand and grasped Haleigh by the throat. Her eyes flashing with annoyance as she clenched her jaw. "Haleigh Davidoff you are NOT! I know exactly what she looks like! So, why do I feel like YOU are not her?! I will give you a minute to explain yourself and if I feel you are not her, you die." Releasing Haleigh's throat, Frost backed away. Folding her arms across her chest, "but since we're playing whose who, I'm not who I say I am. My name is Jasmine Klein but as the last name of Fielding fits..." She stopped to remove her contact lenses to reveal fiery sage green eyes that were Blaze's. "Blaze Fielding was my identical twin." The picture would be getting very clear to Haleigh now. "We were separated at birth."
