So...how do we celebrate? DO we celebrate? Here's what we do: I drive away with you and you think of something we can do next that would be really cool.

:: Cass was feeling pretty full when she got in the car. But she was not sleepy. She was energized, her entire body was buzzing. She glanced sideways at Mike and then turned to the window, allowing herself a secret smile. SHE had an idea of how they could celebrate...but she wasn't sure what HE thought and she wasn't about to use her power on him. She wasn't sure how to bring it up either. ::

"Um...we could go back to the hotel...?"

I'm game if you are.

:: It was so weird. Cass knew that she and Mike weren't meant to be, but she couldn't help but be drawn to him. She didn't know if he wanted to get married and have kids and she certainly couldn't get married OR have kids. She glanced at him out of the cormer of her eye. She was in quite a predicament but she wasn't sure if she even wanted out of it. ::

"Um...we could go back to the hotel...?"

He had heard that before and seen the look in her eyes before. He drove more quickly to the hotel, silently, trying his best to allow the chemistry between them to simmer until he got to the elevator and stepped in with her.

He pulled her to him gently and kissed her deeply, lifting her off the ground as he did so. He pulled away for a second and spoke.

No need for me to beat around the bush. I would love...

<kiss>

to take you back to my room...

<kiss>

and celebrate a night gone perfectly in a manner that could not possibly be any better.

<long kiss>

So far the answer seems to be 'yes'. Let me know whenever it is 'no' and I will stop. Otherwise, enjoy your evening with me Cassandra.

As the door opens, Mike carries Cass the few steps to his room, opens the door, and lays her gently on the bed. Barring objections, it was shaping up to be a long and beautiful night...

The Pathenon - Mike's Suite

:: Cass looked up at Mike from the bed. He stood looking at her. She moved up towards the headboard and leaned back on the pillows. She looked around her. ::

*teasingly*: "It’s kind of lonely over here…"

:: Mike grinned at her and nodded. ::

Mike: "Yeah?"

"Yeah,"

:: He stood still, and crossed his arms, with a smirk on his face. ::

Mike: *teasingly*: "What do you think we should do about that?"

:: Cass grinned, and, with a spark in her eyes, she answered. ::

*teasingly*: "The safe word is 'pineapples'."

:: She was half-joking. She didn’t want to hurt him, after all. She giggled as Mike jumped on the bed beside her. ::

Mike: *smirking* "Getting cocky, are we now?"

"Just thinking of your safety."

:: Mike’s face softened. It was sweet of her to worry about him, but he was pretty confident he could handle her. After all, if he could handle a WAR, he could certainly handle one petite vampire, right? He leaned in and kissed her on the lips. ::

Mike: "I'll be fine."

:: As he moved on top of her, still kissing her and deepening the kiss, he turned out the lights on the bedside table. ::

Illustra - 107th Floor

"Something is needling me: we've completely glossed over the strange circumstances that brought Mina to us. Your visitors brought it back to the forefront of my mind, I guess. I think this is something we need to get to the bottom of - even before we go to Nervous if possible."

Mina nodded slowly. She had seen enough strange occurrences that she wasn't exactly troubled by it...but it was unusual.

"Yes. I myself find this very odd. As I said before - I was asleep in my hotel room in Athens. I dreamt of a beautiful woman with flowing robes and long shimmering white hair. She reached out to me and when I took her hand, I found myself here."

She indicated Delilah's apartment.

"I have not completed a thorough inventory as of yet, but any one of the magickal objects in this residence may have been triggered opening a portal. But the dream itself was unique."

"You know, the person who claims they have NO secrets always has the most secrets to hide. Just sayin'."

She taunted slightly, knowing this kid wasn't an open book like he claimed to be. But she neither needed to pry nor feed his ego, so Ana pushed herself off the couch and padded over to the kitchen.

"Anyone else want a beer?"

I don't know about Bond, James Bond man-of-mystery here, but I will take as many as you feel like carrying...kinda getting hungry again.

Rich grabs another sandwich from the setup and munches away. He was not drained but old habits died hard. The fact that he NEVER gained a pound unless he willed it made it easy to get his grub on all the time. As Ana came back with a small bucket of beer to set on the table, he grabbed one, saluted her in thanks, drank it all, and looked at her as he asked a question.

Hey Ana. What is the most you have ever charged up? Could you charge say...a car? Or a large part of an building?
