Adrian paid no heed to the others around him; he concentrated on the figures showed on the screen, analyzing with computer-like efficiency the encounter, the variables involved, and of course, the strategims of the monster, though the movements were too brief for any remote disection. Immersed in this display, Adrian momentarily forgot he was surrounded by superpowered women who had the means of not only revealing him, but ending him.
As a flash of light flooded the immediate area, Adrian's eyes widened. It took him only a moment to realize he had been found out, and before he could prepare himself, mystic chains flew forth and bound him to his location. He should have known his location would be betrayed sooner or later due to some earthly element outside of his control -- in this case, sound. Focusing on Alison as she walked toward him, Adrian's otherwordly gaze looked through her.
To the group, this man was a stark contrast to the sex-personified Adrian of before. Other than mundane differences such as his eye color, he had visibly changed. There was no cockiness in his stance; his eyes were unassuming. He was the antithesis of the passion and heat that had embodied the previous Adrian, and it now showed through his words.
"Alison," he said, smoothly ignoring her catty comments, "I am not here to sabotage anything. I am as much as aware of the dangerous situation we're in as you, and like you, I want this abomination dealt with."
His gaze swept from Alison to Morgan. "Though this super soldier may be impervious to numerous elements, it still has a soul, and I happen to know something about.. the other world, which will no doubt prove useful in combating him."
Adrian gently passed through the mystical chains as his body turned into a purely etheral matter. As soon as he had escaped them, Adrian solidifed, his beautiful green eyes now regarding Alison once more.
"It is time to put aside old hatreds. I have a feeling that we have only scratched the surface of what has transpired, and you will need any and all resources at your disposal. I only want to help, Alison," he said. Though this man had committed atrocities that would make Satan blush, it was apparent that this Adrian had spoken truth. His words were measured, crisp, and to the point. The creature drew ever nearer above them, and this was no time for petty bickering and reminiscing.
