We all know that the media in America today is corporate owned and most of the "news" is spun before it hits the public's eye, we've also seen how so many COMMENTATORS (like that blowhard, racist gas bag Bill O'riely on Fox) are some how considered EXPERTS and "reliable news anchors"...but which "news channel" is the absolute worst?

cast your vote and sound off on this question.
 
I hate to say it, but I become very suspicious of people who willingly CHOOSE Fox News as their source of information. I cant believe ANYONE thinks that channel delievers a "fair and unbiased" account of whats going on in america or the world. American media nowadays is crap as a whole...i actually watch BBC for my news OR i go online and read Associated Press.

Fox news has got to be the worst...i mean they let a man like Bill O'Rielly who, let's face it, is closeted racist, bigoted and really not an expert on ANYTHING but SPIN be the face of their channel.
 
Most people that watch Fox news watch it for exactly the reason we don't. They prefer the "slant" Fox gives the news. Lets face it Fox is the channel for old white conservative republican males and the few women that think Mann . . .er Ann Colter is a positive "female" role model who like their thinking done for them.

I love how every single person who voted in this thread, voted for Fox News! I completely agree. They have the most biased opinion out there. I worked at a gas for a bit a little after highschool and that was the channel the gas station HAD to play all the time. I had never really watched it before but needless to say for the next few months every night I would come home from work EXTREMELY pissed off haha!
 
The pundits on Fox News Channel l are both inflamatory and irresponsible. its only a matter of time before someone gets hurt or killed behind their racist, provocative comments and then they hold their hands up and say "hey dont blame us". its SO OBVIOUS that lunatics like Bill O'rielly and Glenn Beck on that channel are racist blowhards. I was at a hotel here that had that channel on ALL its 42 inch flatsreens in the lobby, i got so fed up with the crap i was hearing from Glen Beck that i asked the staff if we could please change the channel. the guy at the front desk was like "i couldnt agree more!" it was really only the OLD people who thought that was a legitamate news channel.
 
I don't live in the States, and I very rarely view these news channels, and I'm still going with FOX! :p
 
As Bill Maher would say: Not all Republicans are racists, but if you find a racist, odds are that they're a Republican (and they watch Fox News).

well we still have our lone, steadfast conservative & republican (since not all conservatives are necessarily republican), ARCHON. He must not have seen this thread yet though LOL!

Unlike Zorcrow, Archon actually is a good debater and we do need differences of opinion, because that's what keeps discussion going :nod:
