There are increasing reports that women in Iran are egging the men on to continue to resist the ruling party and their questionable handling of the election. During protests this weekend, a young woman was murdered just for watching from a supposedly safe distance away. I just watched the video, and I was so moved by it and the desperation of these people that I have posted a link here. It is graphic, and you will have to sign in to youtube to get it, but I could not let those people fight so hard for what we take for granted without passing it on. If anyone is offended, I apologize in advance.

i think what's happening over in Iran is very telling. Just like 30 years ago when the people rose up agains their shah and the clerics took over in that revolution, it seems that with a new generation taking its place in society, the "old ways" no longer suit them.

if its the same video /murder i was watching about on CNN last night, then NO WONDER I can't access the vid from work. it was a very shocking, upsetting thing and even the news anchors on CNN seemed shaken by it.

women are becoming bolder over there, you see them being more vocal about the situation on tv, showing more of their faces and actively involved in these protests. and I PERSONALLY feel that is an amazing development but I wonder with so many archaic and even BARBARIC mindsets toward women that are endorsed by religion over there...what will happen if these protests are brutally silenced? the "Supreme Leader" will not go quietly. Not only does he and his clerics have their official police force but many militia cells dedicated to them across the region.
