In Marvel Universe there have been alot of major events & crossovers through the decades: Dark Phoenix Saga, Days of Future Past, Inferno, Onslaught, Disassembled, House of M/Decimation, Civil War, World War Hulk, Necrosha, 2nd Coming, Seige, AvX & more in between (I know i've missed some but you get the idea) . In many of these cases, it was ONE person who caused massive destruction or brought about wide reaching changes & most of these individuals have turned out to be earthbound characters.

There are some who have a legacy of terror & destruction after one event, so much so that ppl even fear those simply RELATED to them (Dark Phoenix). Some characters power definitions alone suggest they are a danger, even though they are benevolent (Hope). OTHERS are extreme in their causes & willing to be martryed for them (Cyclops). Others STILL have a history of mental instability coupled w/ powers that were never clearly defined & ultimately prooved to be deadly (Scarlet Witch) & then there are those who were obviously dangerous to begin with & have become even MORE dangerous as time passed (Hulk).

Who would you say is the biggest threat in MU & why?

Scarlet Witch. Her ability to tap chaos magic makes her incalculably powerful since chaos is a basic part of the universe on par with life and death. That combined with her mental health issues makes her more dangerous than any of the others in my opinion.

and if you look back over the past now nearly 10 yrs...most of the major & tragic events in the main marvel books can ALL be traced back to Diassembled, House of M & Decimate, all caused by Scarlet Witch. Those events' epicenter was in the Avengers book, but quickly encompassed the X-men, Spiderman and other large sections of MU and many events that followed, including Civil War, Dark Reign, Necrosha, etc are all ripple effects of those 3 main events.

So i guess you're right on that

I loved Dark Phoenix but thinking about it you always can go with Thanos cause everyone in the Marvel U from gods, to advance aliens to superhumans collectively crap themselves when Thanos shows his mug
