What Universe Would You Create?

if i wasnt playing "The Six", or a Marvel comic reader, I might be able to answer this but I cant right now because I've talked about this (or played it out sort of in the game) many times already LOL! but that's just me.
 
ideally i think i would create something similar but slightly alternate to the real world. I find my biggest issue with comics is in a world with Reed Richards, Tony Stark and a million different spell caster society doesn't alter a little bit is just too fantastic. If there's not massive geopolitical upheaval after the first alien invasion somethings up. Besides writing completely different worlds is really difficult.
 
At the link I posted above someone suggest making Bruce Wayne the son of poor parents in an AU, or have Superman be sent to Earth to conquer it - would you change the stories of any of your fav characters in that way?

the most interesting idea i've had so far is basically 28 days later means Warren Ellis' Newuniverse and Freakangels. Zombie plague comes in starts like any generic end times movie but then a few at a time people start surviving infection and gaining abilities. I think something that hasn't really been done or i haven't seen it yet, super/posthuman stories always define their characters through what they mean for humanity not posthumanity themselves. With human civilization gone there's no society but their own to define them. It kind of grew from this quote by Grant Morrison on how superheroes never really grow up and there's really no standards for an actually mature superhero. They save they day by punching and kicking one another and might makes right but as "adults" we know thats not how the world works. They should be purer more refine to a/the "true" human condition but we never really see that and the thought just appealed to me both as a sociologist and comic geek.
