I happened to come across this on YouTube when I was looking up something from the Tyra Banks talk show. I cannot BELIEVE these people, and once you see this bullshit, you'll understand why. The first four links is the entire Tyra Banks show with Shirley Phelps (basically one of the main ring leaders in this). The second two are from Bill O'Riley and another news program. And the last is a short trailer for a flim documentry made on these people.

These people are 'preaching' that all of America is going to hell. That they were rejoicing over Hurricane Katrina, 9/11, the Tsunami. Not to mention wanting to CRASH the funerals of the dead little Amish girls, claiming those little girls were whores and would be going to hell. I'm telling you what, it's people like THIS that gives Americans a bad name. That turns people off religion. That starts violence and crimes. It's absolutely sickening...I'm just floored.
 
Unfortunately, that type of hate and ignorance is not new in this country. The refreshing part is that society has finally frowned as much as they have on the situation. But the sad part is, if you're black, female, or gay, you have a LOT of haters in this country. Many more haters than many of us would care to believe.

Never forget, the people running the country were young adults when the civil rights movement was in full swing. Many of them lived in segregation and were taught racist, sexist, and anti-semitic and anti-gay biases. That type of childhood teaching dies hard.
 
That makes me physically nauseous... and 'Thank God For Dead Soldiers?'.... that just makes me really sad. Those dead soldiers paid the ultimate price, providing the blanket of freedom that those self-righteous miscreants snuggle up and sleep in every night.

I couldn't even watch all those clips, they make me sick. FUCK Shirley Phelps. Fuck everyone of her nine goddamned kids, sitting there smiling. If I saw that woman on the street I'd hit her so hard her face would cave in. Thank god for that, you ungrateful bitch.

On the other hand.... at least there are people like us, who can see that kind of behaviour and stand back and denounce it. People like us, who can teach our kids just the opposite... teach love and understanding and compassion. People who hold these values close to our hearts, and through our example... eventually, we can turn the tide of rascism and sexism and hatred in this country. Maybe through OUR children we can better this country, and foster the kind of society with tolerance... the ind we long to be a part of. Hopefully we'll see that change in our lifetime.... those people need to know that what they are doing is not okay.
 
the fanatical behavior of these people is INSANE! i tell you one thing, if I was in the room with that woman or any of those people, i'd be going to JAIL. I'd be throwing some chairs AND some elbows into people's mouths.

sometimes I feel the best way to deal with people like THAT is to SHUT THEM UP either with a fist in their mouth or a foot up their ass. i mean..how DARE these people!? everytime i see shit like that..it makes my blood boil.

the shit they "preach" is so far the OPPOSITE of that God is about (and even I as a non christian who grew up in a pentacostal church can understand that)
 
These people are CRAZY! Ah!!!! They are like backwoods hicks who look imbred.. I mean I can say that since God Hates Me lol.. I mean, it is ENRAGING to see, it is enraging to deal with, but the whole thing is that is what they are going after.. a REACTION. Granted, she is an extremist, but there are many others with the same kind of views towards at least SOME kind of different person in this world... she just happens to have a microphone and media attention, what is REALLY sick is that this women has been given a voice. That she now has a medium to preach what she believes to be the word of god and if everbody would just tune her out or choose not to interview her because everyone that does ends up going extremely postal and there is just 20 minutes of them yelling at each other.. You can blame the women but not without blaming the media that broadcasts her out there because you know there are some idiots watching her talk on their rabbit ears tv in louisianna or some other ass backwards state that will think she is amazing and breed their own hatred for generations. The media is powerful but when we are using it to show things like paris hilton eating a hamburger, mary kate's weight or this insane religious zealot then we have to go back under the microscope..

I think I was honestly more disturbed by how many videos there were. I mean I guess it is interesting to hear her point of view, but I feel it's just as bad to put this kind of thing on television to begin with.

Jesus, gay youth and straight youth have enough to deal with, what with the President actually taking a stand and making a point to want to add that gay people are of LESS value in this country than straight people with the whole gay marriage ammendment to him wanting to deploy 20,000 more people to this war, but please let's give that woman her fifteen minutes of fame? Ridiculous, I think that is what insites me the most.
