Watchout ACTA is coming

I read about this! I'm surprised there's not more media coverage on it! It's obvious that these overreaching measures being pushed by lawmakers are REALLY focused on stemming the flow of INFORMATION. the net & social media in particular has changed the way word gets out & things that happen, especially dirty deeds of govt @ all levels is no longer so easily suppressed over overlooked.

ppl don't like that, hence these measures. & its in insult to anyone w/ reasonable intelligent to think measures like SOPA or ACTA are really about "protection".
 
The reason that this haven't been much media coverage is b/c they have been pushing it as some kind of "trade agreement" (don't remember the correct word)

It almost looks like the one's who are oushing these kinds of laws/agreements etc, are doing so sneaky they know how, so fewer people will notice.
It's like their wet dream is to pass these kinds of laws in absolute silence, not one of these so called agreements and what the consequneces will be, sit right with me.
 
they're attacking the one area that has been seemingly off-limits. the internet helps ppl overcome all kinds of barriers for communication, commerce etc.
 
Yeah, and for some people a good way to let their voice be heard, it's sad that alot of countries are censoring certain sites, and even worse that others again is actively trying to censor almost the entire web :(
