This is so ridiculous! The Canadian government wants to control our activity with our own products that we bought with our own money?! No freakin' way! :eviltongue:

yeah, i just heard about this law, seems like every government is trying to pass some draconian copyright law. It's starting to get disturbing how they're hoping to regulate digital media not to mention signing the ACTA treaty which is just left of totalitarian

It's scary tand more so when people comes up with these "bright" ideas, they must know how much it will impair and what kind of real consequences these laws will have.

wow! one of the provisions in DMCA could have REALLY damaging impact on ppl who pursue their education online! that's CRAZY & for what purpose?

& lets not forget what this is really about...on a deeper level these overreaching pieces of legislation are about controlling the one frontier of information flow the govt thus far has NOT been able to- the internet. they want to stem the flow of information & reach the one area of free speech & expression they've not been able to thus far- the internet.

these pieces of legislation will bring canada & the u.s. into the same arena as CHINA & other oppressive countries overseas!
