Upgrade Maybe Next Week

There is an upgrade to vbulletin which I am going to try to do next week, just so everyone knows.


I'm also looking into splitting our server account into two so that we are allowed twice as many connections to the database at once, and hopefully that will decrease down time. I just have to be able to do it when I'm at home and can more easily move the databases from one server to another.

4 years? I've been moderating Buffy Boards since summer 2001! lol

oh I know youve been owning/running boards for a while, i was just talking about SG. I think Dan and I started this in 2004. our board and the boards you have been handling have out lasted even CB.

I've also started the process of moving Buffy-Boards to its own hosting account. *Hopefully* that will keep the other boards from going down like they have been. *fingers crossed*

BB is now on it's own, so hopefully we won't have those little bouts of down time anymore. I'm going to do the upgrade, but I'll try to wait for a time when no one is on. It took probably less than 5 minutes for me to do it on AD.
