Where do i begin?!

How is his MURDERER walking free right now?

Florida has a "stand your ground" law which means a person doesnt have the obligation to try to flee to safety but instead can use deadly force to defend themselves then & there...only...HE was the one STALKING this young man! The young man was on the phone w/ a friend moments before his death telling her that he was being followed by a "strange man."

George Zimmerman is a racist who had law enforcement fantasies. He was a neighborhood watch captain (but was not on the national neighborhood watch registry) who seemed to forget that neighborhood watch has no more power than any other citizen. they have NO police powers. He went against the direction of the 911 dispatcher by following this young man, who was simply returning to his father's house.

George Zimmerman belongs UNDER the jail & the fact that local law enforcement has mishandled this case so badly @ this point really speaks volumes.

what are your thoughts on this?

I signed the petition at change.org. I invite you to do the same.

The boy died less than 100 feet from his back door because someone decided he 'did not belong' in his own community. It breaks my heart.

im truly saddened by this as well. :( i will sign it now. it already has well over 500k signatures!
Update: The DA has sent it to Grand Jury and the FBI and Justice Department are both investigating now.

Also, six previous 911 tapes have been released concerning this guy. In four of them he reports people who seem to 'not belong'. They are ALL BLACK.
 
This was immensely fucked up and i think the best quote i heard so far on it is (paraphrased) "In this country the crime of being black still outweighs the crime of killing a black man"

according to to stats from the U.S. justice dept. & a hate crimes watch group from the Southern Poverty Law Center- over 72% of hate crimes are committed by white [males] while 70% of the VICTIMS are blacks. W/ gays & muslims coming in a distant 2nd.

So....Frank Taafe defends the killer's actions w/ "he was frustrated [w/ 'all the robberies' that had occurred...mostly by black males] & not gonna take it anymore" & THAT is an acceptable "EXCUSE" to MURDER a 140 lb, 17 yr. old, UNARMED teenager less than 100 yards from his own home!?

wow. like i said before...racists never think they're racist. they'll excuse, defend & deflect ALL DAY LONG.

the more i hread/hear about this, the more my heart breaks & the more i feel like ppl are SCUM.

are we EVER gonna wake up & see racism for the ugly, DEADLY thing that it is?
