The Hellfire Club was an idea that I had so that the leaders of the MoE and the cream of the crop of the MoE would have a place to kick back and be truly decadent without having to stress about the younger and less experienced players being shocked into senselessness. XS is great and I enjoy posting there but I am always having to re-read my posts to make sure that they are not going to be taken the wrong way, and I am sure that all of you have had to do the same at one time or another. Being a comic fan(atic), I had thought of basing it loosely on the Hellfire Club that Marvel created (that has a basis in r/l). The Forum/Thread will be by invitation only and be invisible unless someone has been granted membership. At least that is what we are hoping will be able to be accomplished, lol. For those who aren't as obsessed with the XMen as Farrah and I are, its an exclusive club where the power brokers can meet and engage in anything their hearts desire. Marvels input on it, that I shamelessly stole, I admit, is that within the club, there is an Inner Circle who rule, manipulate, wreak havoc, etc. The Inner Circle is based upon Chess Pieces, From King down to Rook and divided by colors either Black or White. My take on the matter is that there will be two courts, each consisting of a King, Queen, Bishop, Knight and Rook. The Leader of the White Court is the White Queen, the leader of the Black Court is the Black King. Each would choose his or her own court members based on what they feel the person would bring to the overall experience. Farrah will be taking the position of the White Queen and I will be taking that of the Black King. (Yes I know you are surprised by this, lol.) I have asked and Ti and Riana have gratiously accepted the position of the Black Queen and Black Bishop respectively. Farrah will be choosing or has already chosen her court. She and I have been talking and offering suggestions as to who we feel would fit the positions and whom the positions would fit. For those people beyond the Inner Court we would offer membership into the club but its in my mind that before an invitation is sent, that a majority of both Courts should agree on the person being chosen. The only rule that will hold fast while in the Club is that no one may be killed or maimed permanently. Since it is exclusive, I dont feel that we should be telling everyone about it because frankly I dont think any of us want hundreds of pm's begging for invitations or inclusion. This is for the leadership and the outstanding roleplayers who are above the common cut. Each of you leaders have shown the qualities that we are looking for in the Club, but can you be truly decadent enough to fit in? Anyone think of any questions that I might not have answered?
Intercoven Quest
The Intercoven Quest will be starting after Eye of Fire is finished. While I would like to get things started, I realize my own limits and running two in depth quests would drive me completely out of my mind and I dont think we need a return of Darkaris anytime soon, lol.
My Working Title for it is Infinity Quest and will be taking the questers across time and space in search of certain objects. I will be dovetailing part of it into the happenings in Inferno and shame on you if you haven't been reading that! The covens will be gathering the objects seperately at first then will be copeting against each other and finally working together. For anyone who is a comic fanatic like I am, there will be guest stars galore as well as fabulous travel to exotic locations including Asgard and Olympus. Atlantis may make an appearance and I have a special place that the MoE will be visiting. (Be Afraid! Be Very Afraid!) Rewards will be given out for the successful completion of the quest as they will be in Eye, including level appropriate talismans and gil.
