<< In the last hours of the previous evening, a curiously exciteable Morgan and a suspicious Blaze go to check on Delilah. Morgan, for the moment, does not inform Delilah of Persephone's visit or warning. She's AGONIZING over the fact that Bishop, as seen by Harbinger, MUST be told...she must BREAK her promise to Delilah. Blaze, sensing that her sister is in turmoil, decided she would confront Morgan privately at the office tommorow, away from prying eyes and ears. For now though, the sisters make sure Delilah is okay and Morgan scolds Delilah for trying to "do too much" before they help her to bed for the evening and make sure all is well.>>

<< The sisters, after leaving apartment 1, were summoned over to apartment 3, where a brief discussion about the warning from Harbinger and Persephone was had. Morgan with held the information about Delilah and thankfully, no one could pry it from her mind, due to her psi screen...but her emotions were ALL OVER the place. Blaze kept eyeing Morgan, which in turn, was noticed by Nicolas. She was hiding something. But for the moment, Spellbinder, Firebird, Rampage, Shadow Weaver, Arsenal and Silver Swan were at least in agreement that everyone needed to stay as close together and connected as possible. To that end, Silver Swan would take up guest residence in one of the empty units of MP, THIS would be a good thing for Cass, who was still struggling, but deep down, she knew Sharon was right. If she couldnt trust "everyone"...she could start with ONE person.>>

<< Back in NYC, Cameron picked up where he had left off with Dominique, who was now in ball busting mode, but behind her flashing aqua blue eyes, there was something else...INTRIGUE. Before the end of round 2, Cameron interrupted Dominique's tyrade with a full on kiss on the mouth, which was promptly returned with a SLAP across his face and yet, Dominique did not order him out of her dressing room. Instead, she INVITED HIM to her executive presidential suite for a drink and a more...calm discussion about whether or not she would continue to perform at the parthenon once it was in his hands again. From that, "OTHER THINGS" were now shaping up to unfold between them, as Dominique saw a new Cameron King before her, one that she found more than intriguing, she found him APPEALING.>>

<< The night falls, the skies and stars on both coasts turn and soon, MORNING comes.>>

<< Sharon summons Cass EARLY from her apartment for a special surprise, an early morning FLIGHT over L.A. as only Silver Swan could provide. After that, came the first hand-to-hand combat training session at the warehouse owned by Nicolas King, outfitted with super cutting edge technology from Black Widow and Cassadine Industries to serve as a "Danger Room" and holo-environment simulator for training purposes. The first training session did not go very well for Cass, who was NO MATCH for Sharon in physical combat. Though left on the ground humiliated, Sharon did not HURT Cass, though she stressed to Cass that an ENEMY would do WORSE than hurt her. She pulls Cass up and they begin again.>>

<<The day continues to pass- Karen and Michael are visiting with Delilah for lunch. Karen has brought several special hand made elixirs using ingredients she purchased from Bell, Book & Candle, along with several items for the baby that she knitted herself. Grammie (a.k.a Verna), Karen's grandmother , Morgan's great-grandmother and one-time ally to the Six during the Barbas caper, had taught Karen to knit as a child and it was a skill she carried with her. In this day and age, the giving of homemade, hand made gifts seemed to be a lost art, but for Delilah, whom Karen had long regarded as a surrogate daughter, it couldnt be a more fitting way to express joy and support.>>

<< Delilah was a bit fussy in the midst of her happiness at the visit and gifts, but Karen, being a mother herself, understood, as did Michael. >>

<< Afternoon passes into early evening. Morgan has closed down Spectra Couture's business operations a bit early to give herself, Blaze and Nicolas time to prepare to go to NYC for tonight's big event. All the models from the House of Spectra appearing in this evening's show were already at the Parthenon getting prepped.>>

<< Morgan moved about the office, she'd been rather jumpy and curiously unfocused and absent minded all day! Blaze had been watching her and enough was enough. The fire elemental shut the doors to Morgan's office suite to confront her sister. Nicolas had showed up JUST as Blaze shut the doors. She didn't see him, but he caught a FLEETING glimpse of her and she looked concerned. From the thoughts he picked up from her, he decided to be discreet and wait outside the doors office suite while the sisters talked BUT, like Cameron the night before, he was NOT above listening at the door ;) >>

<<WHILE...>>------------------------------------
<< NYC, the Parthenon.>>
<< Cameron King and Dominique Deveraux have their formal meeting in the office of his revamped company, Zenith. The chemistry that began crackling between them last night was now on the way to become a full fledged FIRE. But even in the midst of all of that, Dominique's mind was churning...she had another HEADACHE and it was so bad that even Nicolas could sense her PAIN through their familial bond. >>

<< Cameron had reached out to Alison EARLIER this morning, bypassing any conventional method and instead using his psychic rapport with her via their sibling bond. Even in psychic communication, she SOUNDED less than her usual strong self and that worried him, but she would not hear of him fussing over her and instead, informed him that both she and ava would be in attendance at the parthenon this evening. it wasn't just a matter of wanting to support him or see the six together under this roof once again...they HAD to be there for other specific reasons.>>

<< All of the witches would show NOTICEABLE suffering today in various ways, as the hours before the dawn of the Blue Moon passed. Even as tonight's big event approached, an even BIGGER threat was looming over the horizon, worse, though most of them were aware that Circe was coming for them...they still didn't know just how or WHEN. Harbinger couldn't SEE that far, due to her magick already declining.>>

<< They had no choice but to go forward and we will watch them...>>

Spectra- Morgan's office

It had been a very busy day, but Blaze preferred it that way. Always dressed for success, the auburn haired beauty functioned as fluently in the business world as she did in the social scene. That was another key difference between her and her mainstream counterpart.

She handled her tasks smoothly and methodically in a way that would do even Alison proud. After handling the contracts that had been over-nighted by Cameron King, having Morgan's legal counsel go over them and make sure everything was in order, She brought them to Morgan to sign.

Per Morgan's request, Blaze sent the office staff home early and called Sally Spectra to make sure she, along with the House of Spectra models were settled and satisfied with their accomodations at the Parthenon. That left only her and Morgan. Just the way she wanted it because now it was time for the TRUTH to be told.

She looks around the spacious, cutting edge office, surveying it with her apple green eyes to make sure everyone has left before finally turning on her high heel and opening the doors to Morgan's office suite.

"Morg, I have the contracts and everything is in order. You can sign them and I'll release the transfer of funds to Zenith."

She turns for a moment and closes the double doors, just as NICOLAS appeared in front of them. She didn't see him so it looked like she'd just slammed the door in his face. Normally the fire elemental would not be rude, but right now, she needed this time with her sister.

Setting the documents on Morgan's desk, she walks over to the well stocked bar and fixes herself a an Absolut Anti-Freeze on the rocks (melon liquer, absolute vodka, 7-up and ice cubes). Nobody could make...OR ENJOY a drink or two better than Blaze ;)

"Morg, we need to talk. I know something's wrong. You've been off balance ever since you finally emerged from your apartment last night. When we were at Delilah's you were practically shaking and then when we were at Mike's you were hiding something."

"There's more to what Ava said to you...about Circe, isn't there?"

"What is it?"

Blaze asked directly as she locked onto her sister's violet eyes with her own apple green eyes and seated herself in one of the chairs facing Morgan's wrap around desk, crossing her legs at the knee and taking a drink.

"And don't try to hide anything from me Morgan. I know when you're lying."

Morgan...HER Morgan from her native timeline, used to do the same thing. Hide things and try to take everything on to herself. But Blaze would have to practically badger her to open up and when she did, everytime, Morgan found she felt better and often got the support she NEEDED to figure things out or solve problems. This Morgan was no different. Strong, prideful and ultimately convinced she had to do EVERYTHING herself. But Blaze would only allow her to go so far with this. And now they were at that line. There was no avoiding the discussion.

Spectra- Executive suite

<< Morgan had been moving through the day, but she was having a hard time. She was easily exciteable, jumpy and, at times, easily distracted and unfocused.>>

<< But despite her difficulties, she maintained her sense of style! She wore a black Donna Karan off shoulder blazer and pieced pencil skirt which showed off her bare, smooth, flawless legs, which were themselves supported by matching black donna karan high heels. Her hair was pulled back into a sleek, glossed bun.>>

<< She hadn't eaten all day. She was never known for her appetite but when her anxiety was high, she would often "forget" to eat. Things that normally wouldnt bother her, were now unsettling her left and right. But she got through the day. THis evening was important and everything on her end that she could control was in place.>>

<< It was just too bad that she couldnt control OTHER THINGS, like time threads...specifically the one involving Delilah DYING in child birth.>>

<<FLASH!>>

Persephone said:
Morgan, we have a problem.

Tinkerbell's ears perked up, feeling the tension in Ava's voice.

Persephone said:
Alison sent me here to warn you. She had a vision of Circe's return......and the death of Delilah...

Morgan: DELILAH'S DEATH!?

She saw Delilah dying while giving birth. She will have already been dead by the time Circe attacks. The only factor that could possibly change the outcome is Bishop....he need to be apart of this despite our reservations.

WHY!? Why didn't she let Hecate break that curse! WHY didn't she ABORT that pregnancy...that SEED...from BISHOP!

<< mystic CHIMES sound off! but they sound...odd, chaotic! It's a sign of Morgan's distress and her waning magickal powers. Those chimes are registered by Blaze and Nicolas>>

<< She massages her temples with her fingers, shutting her eyes tightly before exclaiming>>

DAMMIT!

<< At that moment BLAZE arrives. The contracts from Cameron and Zenith checked out and everything is in order. Her signature will set the purchase of The Parthenon and its chain by Cameron in motion and Morgan will will be well paid for this. But now, suddenly, even THAT doesn't seem so important, as evidenced by her rather blank stare and half hearted acknowledgement as Blaze sets the documents before her to sign. She takes her custom designed, diamond and ruby encrusted Mont Blanc pen ( a gift from Sally Spectra) in hand...but does not sign yet. She simply holds the pen in her hand..and exhales/groans as the NAUSEA she experienced last night returns. The symptoms of her growing weaker were becoming more pronounced!>>

<<Blaze closes the doors and shatters any pretense that someone hasn't noticed Morgan's behavior. She calls Morgan out and puts her on the spot. Normally Morgan would try to bluff at least once but it was always futile against the perceptive Blaze, who, while not an empath, was the closest thing to it when it came to reading people.>>

Blaze: "Oh my GOD! Morgan!?"

<< The fire elemental races over to Morgan. NICOLAS wouldve burst into the room by now, but something else...an impulse told him to stay where he was and WAIT. If he appeared, Morgan MIGHT NOT reveal what she was hiding from Blaze...from ALL of them. This was not easy for him.>>

<< Blaze helps to steady Morgan, who now has tears streaming down her face. Blaze helps Morgan over to the sink in the bar, turning the water on and helping Morgan take care of herself, handing her a hankerchief.>>

Blaze: "For goddess' sake Morgan! WHAT IS IT! I'm your SISTER! Tell me so I can HELP YOU!"

<< Morgan cleans up, rinses and dabs her eyes with the hankerchief, slowly walking over to the couch. Blaze follows and sits beside her, holding Morgan's hand, which is shaking.>>

Alison....

<< Morgan said in a much lower, trembling tone>>

Alison's vision also included...Delilah...DYING during child birth.

<< She looks at Blaze>>

According to Alison's vision, Delilah will already be dead when Circe destroys Minerva's mansion...

Blaze: she stares at Morgan in shock, not blinking her apple green eyes for more than a few moments. "oh...no...." the UNDERSTATED tone of Blaze's reaction is an indicator of how SHOCKED she is.

There's something else. Alison says that...the ONLY chance we have to try to alter the certainty of Delilah's death is to...

<< she squeezes Blaze's hand hoping her sister will support her and understand this>>

TELL BISHOP. We must betray Delilah's promise that we made...and TELL HIM. He must be with her at Minerva's...that's all Alison saw, that's all Ava could tell me.

Blaze: Looking utterly defeated "Well FUCK!"

<< Morgan can't help but exhale/laugh, even at a time like this, to Blaze's expression of dismay>>

I couldn't agree MORE.

<< still holding and squeezing her sister's hand>>

But you see

<< her voice rising in tone to its more usual sound>>

THAT is what I didn't say last night, in Michael's apartment. Even when you and I looked in on Delilah, I knew then. I couldn't tell the others. I didn't want them to interfere or make some rash move!

Blaze: "I know. Even if the others couldn't, I could tell You were keeping something from us, FROM ME...now I know what it is..."

I'm sorry...

Blaze: "Don't be. I know how FUCKED UP this is. I understand...you were trying to think of a way to best handle this. I know YOU."

I'm AFRAID...

Blaze: "You think you're the only one? LOOK at you? you're coming unglued! and I KNOW your magick is failing you! Same with Karen and Alison, which is probably why we havent even SEEN HER yet! You're ALL suffering and we can't do anything about it! And on top of that...DELILAH is..."

<< Neither one of them wants to say it, unaware that Nicolas has heard ALL of it thus far.>>

What am i going to DO!? Abouto BISHOP I mean...

Blaze: "You know what you have to do. Inspite of how you, me or anybody else might feel about him, and no matter what Delilah says. When Harbinger has visions, she tells us so that we can try to change them! We may not like what we have to do...but it's ...it's just gonna have to be done. Bishop is no threat to us, he hasn't been in a long time. And whatever we think about him or him and Delilah, we can't judge. We just have to try to..."

<< they both say it>>

SAVE HER!

Thank you....for making it SAFE for me to come out with this.

<< Blaze pulls Morgan into a hug>>

Blaze: "I tell you this ALL THE TIME. I. AM. YOUR. SISTER. You can tell me ANYTHING."

<< as they let go, they both slowly stand up. Morgan sniffles a bit as she dabs her eyes with her hankerchief once more.>>

I better get the contract signed and sent off.

<< Blaze looks at her watch>>

Blaze: "Hmmm...not that I'm not GRATEFUL for chocolate kiss being LATE, but where is he? he shouldve been here by now for our usual wrap up!"

<< Morgan pauses as she wonders that herself.>>

Nicolas...

<< They are unaware that he's been outside the double doors of the executive suite, listening the whole time.>>

Nicolas stepped away from the doors quickly and quietly. He already knew what he needed to do. Stepping into another office close by, Nicolas sent a simple text to someone he never lost track of. Someone who was relatively close by.

This is Nicolas. Delilah needs you ASAP. Come to Melrose Place immediately.

Placing his phone back into his jacket pocket he walks briskly up to the double doors and steps through.

Sorry I'm late ladies!! Had a last minute call to make before our meeting.

<<sniffs the air>>

What is that smell? Is everything OK in here? You look...out of sorts Morgan. Are you OK?

Nicolas looks at the two of them as he gives Morgan and Blaze a chance to come clean on their own with the rest of the story.

<< Morgan jumps with a start as Nicolas suddenly [as far as THEY could tell] arrived. Even the smallest things were a source of upset to her as she felt increasingly drained.>>

<< Even Blaze, who was typically calmer than Morgan on a normal basis, choked on her drink as Nicolas arrived and could tell that SOMETHING had happened in here.>>

<< she nudged Morgan and then...via her sibling bond "spoke" to Morgan telepathically>>

"Oh hell! Morg, get rid of the waste basket!"

<< Morgan, looking rather pale and now EMBARRASSED at this moment, stands beside Blaze. Both women look at Nicolas as a small stepping disc suddenly opens under the waste basket and it's teleported away.>>

OH THIS IS JUST SO....

<< she turns away from Nicolas, as she exclaims with an exasperated tone and walks over to her desk, placing her hands down on the desktop and leaving forward a bit as she shudders>>

Blaze: "Morg isn't feeling well, Nic. She's upset."

I feel like I could PASS OUT at any moment! I'm off balance, I'm riddled with anxiety. EVERY unexpected sound is making me jump. I feel like Circe could show up ANY MOMENT!

<< But of course that wasn't all. and it wasn't really even Circe HERSELF. It was the slow but now STEADY ebbing of her magickal power and energy from her.>>

PLEASE don't let him press about...

Blaze: (telepathically to Morgan) "STEADY Morg. Just try to be calm! Maybe we should just tell Nicolas and be done with it."

Zenith Group Offices - Execute Office Suite - Floor 66

In the HEART of the Financial District (Manhattan) in the midst of bustling traffic & aggressive stockbrokers walking down the streets yelling on cell phones about options and buying and selling, The Zenith Group Offices were just as busy. Having secured several floors in one of the most coveted locations in the city in terms of it's close proximity to Wall Street, Cameron King was hard at work, well for the most part. While people buzzed in and out of conference rooms and offices, all with the ferocious intensity that was often seen on the floor of the NYSE, Cameron seemed eerily at peace, for a multitude of reasons.

One of them being that today was a very big day both personally and professionally. He was about to buy back the Parthenon Hotel from Morgan, coming full circle from where he was to he is now. His passion for the Parthenon had always been there, and now thanks to determination and hard work, the dream would far exceed the expectation. Currently, he was on the phone with Event Coordinators for the evening. Although The Parthenon was still under the control of Morgan, they both agreed that it made sense that he be a point person for the event, based on his location alone. Cameron didn't tell Morgan, however, that he was trying to take on more responsibility based on what he had overheard Nicolas tell Dominique last night, and what he learned from Alison earlier this morning. He figured she would feel out of sorts, so it was his pleasure to monitor things, and it wasn't as if Morgan couldn't be there in a moment's notice.

Also in his office was the woman he had just spent the night with. Dominique Devereaux. What started as a hostile altercation, turned into a very fiery end of the evening, with both parties feel satisfied and at ease with the situation. They weren't operating under the assumption that they would ever be ANYTHING more than what they were right now, but they were both HUMAN, and both under incredible amounts of stress that can sometimes only be relieved by "other things" and Dominique was VERY GOOD at "other things."

Event Coordinator: Yes, Mr. King we have the final press and guest list. Sally Spectra and Spectra Couture are setting up. Everything is going smoothly.

Cameron: Thank You! But let me reiterate, it is of the utmost importance that the guest list and the press passes DO NOT CHANGE. WE have to control the press, not the other way around. That means if TEMPO MAGAZINE comes sniffing around, you kick them out on their asses. I'm being crystal clear, yes?

Event Coordinator: Yes, Sir...

Cameron: Please CC the Guest & Press Lists to Blaze Fielding for final confirmation. Other than that, keep up the good work...be smart, be focused, and of course enjoy your evening. I'll be there soon.

Cameron hung up the phone, as he looked at Dominique who was sitting in one of the plush white chairs across from his desk, in his Executive Office Suite.

"I'm terribly sorry about all of that..Actually, i'm not. I love my job."

He made his way over to his fully stocked granite top bar and began to fix himself a little mid-day Martini and he poured a glass of Hemlock for Isis, from a batch that his sister had given him, specifically for clients of the Supernatural Variety. Heading back over to Dominique, he leaned down, placing the flute of Hemlock in her hand before, brushing his nose against her cheek. She could a little bit of scruff on his face, and just a hint of his warm lips, as he took a moment to almost "nuzzle" her.

"You smell delicious..."

He could tell that Isis was not feeling up to par, and it looked like a headache. If anybody knew what a headache, looked, felt and sounded like it was a telepath. Placing his martini glass on his desk, he promptly opened a drawer, pulling a vial of what appeared to be an essential oil.

"This Blue Moon really is taking a toll on all of you.. You this might help..."

Cameron walked over to Dominique and stood behind her, dropping a few drops of the essential oil in his fingers. He leaned down and whispered in her ear as he began to massage her temples with the oil on his fingers.

"Lavender..it sounds simple, but it's always helped me.. The scent alleviates stress, and even though the pain won't go away completely, it subsides.."

whispering in her ear: "And the scent only adds to your appeal..."

After massaging her temples for a few more seconds, Cameron returned to his desk, sat down and propped his feet up, giving Dominique a very devilish grin.

"Sorry to mix business with pleasure..again, actually not sorry at all. But we should do a little business just to justify our days..."

taking a sip of his martini.

"Before the Parthenon deal tonight, I just want to make sure you are okay with the terms and conditions. Your performances are becoming part of the intrigue of the Parthenon and I'd personally hate to see you go. Is there anything I can do to ensure the continuation of this mutually beneficial relationship?"

He waited for her answer, all the while wishing she was wearing far less clothing.

Spectra- Morgan's office

Blaze looks up at Nicolas intently, searching his brown eyes with her own apple green eyes. Even at her height of 5'8 (taller than mainstream Foxfire) and with high heels on, she had to look up at the larger male mutant. But she was not intimidated. Rather she searched him and his eyes for an indication of how he would behave.

She remembered that while Morgan had a psi screen, she didnt. Nicolas could hear her thoughts and likely the faintest ECHO of Morgan's thought calls to her! She hoped he would be understanding at this moment and she hoped Morgan would not be mad at her, but she was going to take this burden off of her sister, if she couldnt do anything else.

She steps forward, slowly exhaling as she begins...

"Nic...There was something else to Alison's vision. She saw Delilah dying while giving birth to her baby. Dying before the final battle with Circe. Morgan didn't tell anyone yet. She only just told me...and I think you know already. Where were you just now?"

She believed in covering all her bases. Morgan was wrong for withholding this information, but if Nicolas had spied on them? He was wrong as well and they might as well get it all out on the table and keep things on an even, healthy level.

"She's very upset. She knows that in the vision, Bishop is with Delilah. So obviously he has to be told. She doesnt want to break her promise to Dee. Neither do I. She doesn't want him around her or ANY of us. Can you blame her for that?

But we know that a life...2 lives are at stake. So don't you be hard on Morgan about this."

The protective nature toward her sister now showing strongly, Firebird was doing whatever she could to help Morgan, who was obviously having a hard time.

Nicolas looked at Blaze and rubbed her cheek. He inhaled and decided that if he was man enough to do something he was man enough to own up to it.

I am not upset about that. You closed the door in my face as I walked up and you two carried on as I happened to be standing 1/32 of an inch from the crack in the door. I KNOW you vomited Morgan and how sick you have been and while I am disappointed that you could not be more honest about that with me I can understand how uncool vomiting in front of 'boys' can be.

Now YOU might be upset with me.

Nicolas walked closer to Morgan and sat her down, then looked at the two of them.

Bishop has a right to know what is going on, that he has a child. I have believed that from the beginning. I have also respected the wishes of this group in not telling him what is going on. But that did not preclude me from knowing his whereabouts and how to contact him should things change or once his child was born.

Things have changed. He is needed. Delilah may not want him there but the die has been cast.

I have JUST contacted him by text and told him to come to Melrose Place immediately, that Delilah needed him. If anyone is upset that I made this move to save her life they can take it up with me. This way she can hate me and not any of the rest of you if need be. She NEEDS you. She does not NEED me personally. If she hates me but lives to do so I will be satisfied with that.

Nicolas grew quiet and waited for what was to happen.

“I love them - thank you so much!”

Delilah shifted in her seat. It was so hard to get comfortable these days, and her back ached. She took a sip of water with lemon.

“So, what’s going on with you two? What have I missed, stuck at Melrose Place?”

Zenith- Cameron's office

:: Dominique was dressed in a stylish Stella Mccartney suit&dress ensemble with spiked heels, accessorized with a Chloe bag, Mary Katrantzou bangle. The outfit hugged her tall, feminine frame perfectly. She did not show AS much skin as White and Red Queens but she knew how to make sure her body was recognized for the royal temple that it was.::

:: She sat in Cameron's office, impressive as it was, she couldn't help but to "white glove" some of the surfaces to see how CLEAN it was ;). To her amusement, it passed the test. She seated her self ever so elegantly in one of the seats, crossing her legs at the knee.::

:: Last night aside, what was going on at this momentreally was INTOLLERABLE. She was not some bimbo to be amazed by the trappings of an "executive office" while the "powerful business man" blustered away on the phone, only to return to her like a boy returns to his favorite toy when it suits him.::

:: The look on her face said it all, as she primpted in her compact for a few moments before loudly snapping it shut.::

Cameron King, this is really too much. When you asked me here today, I expected that we would have a legitimate meeting to discuss my contract and my continuing to avail me talents to the Parthenon. I did NOT expect to be relegated to the status of a "lady in waiting in the powerful business man's office." I am NOT, nor will I EVER be that girl "on the casting couch." do you understand me?

:: She says with a direct, clear, elegant tone as she takes another drink of hemlock. but not even THAT could ease the suffering of her latest headache, which was even causing her vision to blur at some points. She groaned a bit as she shut her eyes tightly::

I have apparently underestimated the toll it would take on me. I assumed that because the origin of my power came from an entirely different pantheon and heritage [Isis being the Egyptian goddess of Rebirth & Magick] that , that I would not suffer as much as some others. But apparently ...

:: Her tone softened a bit::

I was woefully mistaken. It is as though the very VITALITY within me, given by my patron diety Isis, is ebbing from my body. It has left me feeling...rather uncomfortable and irritable.

:: Perhaps Cameron would hope to take credit for Dominique being tired today after last night, he should be so lucky! :p ::

"Lavender..it sounds simple, but it's always helped me.. The scent alleviates stress, and even though the pain won't go away completely, it subsides.."

whispering in her ear: "And the scent only adds to your appeal..."

After massaging her temples for a few more seconds, Cameron returned to his desk, sat down and propped his feet up, giving Dominique a very devilish grin.

"Sorry to mix business with pleasure..again, actually not sorry at all. But we should do a little business just to justify our days..."

::The lavender and his soft hands, with their perfect target and pressure application, did help relieve her somewhat. She relaxed her posture.::

Cameron, you have changed, IMPROVED much since I last saw you. It's as though you've become an entirely different person. Though I am no without my own experience in reinvention and transformation, I must say...you now ARE a most...intriguing man.

:: She watched him thoughtfull with her aqua blue eyes. Studying him and his overall presentation. It wasn't an act. She'd be able to tell. He was exactly who he appeared to be. It was an impressive change. But so too was her own, as most people would never have guessed the young, skinny girl from the village that was once blessed and protected by Isis, then violated and decimated by Set, would rise from the ashes of her own defeat and tragedy to become the powerful and alluring woman she now was.::

I have not agreed to ANY terms and conditions yet. And I'm afraid I am not in the best frame of mind to have a thorough discussion on the matter. However, I will tell you that, among other things, my "early out" clause, along with my standing residence in the executive presidential suite must remain unchanged and I will not be made to perform or share the stage with any "flash in the pan" charlatan that "social media" has deemed "the artist of the generation." My fee will remain the same. It's not as though I NEED that money. That money is funneled into a global network of NGOs and hospitals dedicated to helping victims, families of victims and survivors of mystech that I have regularly supported since I learned of the nature of that company and its past.

I have traveled the world, performed for royalty, heads of state and more. Yet...this place, from the moment i first arrive in New York and the night the Night Club manager recognized me and begged me to do at least one song to surprise the guests...I have found that there was a certain "appeal" to it. At first i thought it was because of my own relentless drive to hunt down Nicolas and destroy him, since that WAS the original reason I came here. But even after Malice and Enchantrah offered me hellfire club membership and INNER CIRCLE status, this place remained...interesting to me.

It is my intention to continue to perform as I do. Whether or not that will HAPPEN depends entirely upon you and the contract that you draw up and whether or not I find it acceptable.

:: She takes another drink. Gulping the hemlock down and squinting her eyes with discomfort::

For now...I think it would be better to look ahead...after the festivities this evening, it appears we BOTH will have an engagement [for two vastly different reasons] at Minerva's Aerie. I must tell you...that there are more than a few of your little friends in "The Six" that I could do without seeing ANYTIME soon.

“Oh Karen, they’re beautiful!”

Delilah held up a hand-knit baby blanket, cap and booties.

“You really are spoiling me.”

Delilah beamed. She sat at the table with Karen and Mike, having a light lunch (well, in Delilah’s case, maybe not so light). Karen had made the baby things herself for Delilah, and she had also brought with her some of her special elixirs.

“I love them - thank you so much!”

I'm glad you like them, dear. My grammie taught me how to knit when i was just a little girl. It's something I've kept up through the years and doing it is something that allows me to relive memories of her. I didn't know how much I miss her...STILL...until that night she said goodbye to Morgan and myself...after the Barbas caper.

<< Karen looked up at the ceiling for a moment as she thought of Grammie.>>

But enough of that. I didn't come here to bring you down. We came here to see how you were and make sure you were okay!

Sharon tells us you've been cooperating with her, though not without alot of fussing?

<< Karen raises an eyebrow at Delilah and smiles, as if to say "naughty girl" in a playful way.>>

Just think how it was for me when I was carrying Morgan!

<< putting her hand to her forehead as she laughed a bit>>

I could have USED someone like Sharon in those days.

Delilah shifted in her seat. It was so hard to get comfortable these days, and her back ached. She took a sip of water with lemon.

“So, what’s going on with you two? What have I missed, stuck at Melrose Place?”

<< Michael sounded like he was ALMOST about to reveal the details of last night's meeting. Karen loudly cleared her throat and jabbed Michael in the thigh with one of her manicured nails. She knew JUST the spot to touch, unfortunately, Michael WAS rather ticklish on certain parts of his legs ;) and the certain, unexpected, sharp poke from Karen meant to get his attention caused his leg and knee to jerk UP from reflex, hitting the table and causing Karen's glass of lemonade to fall to the floor, shattering.>>

Oh dear!

<< Karen says with genuine dismay and embarrassmenet [even though she DID stop Michael from saying the wrong thing just then, which was what she wanted]>>

<< quickly getting up, she holds her hand up for Delilah to remain seated>>

Oh I'm so sorry Delilah. But not to worry...I'll take care of this easily enough!

<< Looking at the glass and spilled lemonade, Karen pauses for a moment and then with a look of "easy enough" on her face, she twitches her nose and as that "bewitching" sound that accompanies this move of her's is heard...something happens...but not what ANY of them expected.>>

<< that distinct twinkling sound...it starts off normal but quickly fizzles down and out and the shattered glass and lemonade on the floor? they started to rise up to the command of the witch but as the magick failed, so too did the glass, the pieces falling back to the floor.>>

....

Oh my stars!

It....it didn't work!

<< Karen's mouth opened with disbelief as she placed her hand to her chest and then quickly looked at Michael. THEY knew what this was, but Delilah didnt.>>

Well...I haven't been feeling well. Maybe my concentration is off....

<< extending her hand out, pointing down to the glass and circling it with her finger, another distinct chime is heard...but it too warps in sound and fizzles out as nothing happens.>>

<< She looks at Michael again...with a pained expression>>

Well...I can do it the old fashion mortal way!

<< She says with a smile returning to her face as she goes to the broom closet in Delilah's kitchen to grab the broom and dustpan.

<< Morgan did NOT want them to say anything to Delilah and so, Karen curiously kept silent, playing it off as she quickly swept up the glass>>

I haven't been feeling well since yesterday. Perhaps I'm more tired than I realized. I'm sure it'll pass....

"Oh, Sharon's alright. She's a bit tough...no tougher than you yourself would be, I'm sure, Karen."

Delilah smiled into her glass as she took another drink of water.

"But it has been nice to have her around. I probably would have gone stir crazy without her."

Mike jumped out of his skin for no apparent reason, rattling the table and knocking a glass onto the floor. Mike being a reasonably young man didn't make it less gross that Karen - who she thought of as a mother - was playing footsie with him under the table. Ew.

Delilah started to get up to clean it, but Karen stopped her. She was going to use her magic, but it seemed to fizzle out. She had never seen THAT happen before. Maybe Karen was starting to feel her AGE.

"Don't worry about it Karen - I can get it later..."

But the witch was up, clearing up he broken glass the old fashioned way.

"Oh, be careful! Don't cut yourself."

Karen mentioned not feeling well.

"Maybe you need to lie down?"

Delilah glanced worriedly at Mike.

Zenith Group Offices - Execute Office Suite - Floor 66

Cameron knew that Dominique would be irritated by being kept waiting because at this point every woman in his life felt themselves too important to have to endure even the shortest of business calls. BUT, Dominique did have a point. He had called her there, and he should have been a little more attentive, though he was sure he had been MORE than attentive last night. The two finally had sat down to discuss Dominique's future relationship with The Parthenon Hotel after Cameron had successfully "eased" some of Dominique's discomfort due to the looming Blue Moon.

Isis: I have not agreed to ANY terms and conditions yet.

She was most definitely savvy, he would give her that much, and it warmed his heart a little to know where Dominique was putting her paycheck for performances as he knew all TOO well the destruction that MysTech had left in their wake. It was a noble cause for sure. Cameron removed his feet from his desk, and took a more serious stance as she continued.

Isis: I have traveled the world, performed for royalty, heads of state and more.

Cameron smiled. There was something about negotiation that turned him on a little. He pulled a contract from one of his drawers and placed it on the table in front of Dominique. The "Zenith" logo clearly displayed on the top.

"My pitch is much of what you just said. Your executive suite will remain in tact as well as your "early out" clause, rest assured. Your pay will not waiver as well. You are well worth your weight in gold. However, you are STAR, and as such, while your performance schedule will remain largely the same, I would like you to be open for special events such as holidays like Christmas and maybe even New Year's as personally your standards from the Holidays remain a favorite in my collection..."

He placed interlaced his fingers and put his elbows on his desk.

"Your name on the front of those doors during a PEAK in tourist season would book this place solid. The language is all there in this contract and UP for negotiation. This is merely a starting point. As an afterthought however, I would like to speak to your people in the future regarding a portion of the proceeds received from door cover as well as VIP Services be also funneled in to the charities of which you are involved in. To have had the childhood I had, and the adulthood for that matter, there is no way I can have what I have and not give back. I just need names, Dominique..."

He stood from his chair and walked over to the other side of his desk where Dominique was sitting, martini in hand.

Isis:For now...I think it would be better to look ahead...after the festivities this evening, it appears we BOTH will have an engagement [for two vastly different reasons] at Minerva's Aerie. I must tell you...that there are more than a few of your little friends in "The Six" that I could do without seeing ANYTIME soon.

"You are right about that...however this is one more, more personal matter i'd like to talk to you about while i'm here..."

[taking a sip from his martini]

"Your mention of the Hellfire Club is coincidental to me. I have reached incredible levels of success in a short period of time here, and while I already a force to be reckoned with on the business and social scene.. I can't help but feel that there is room for progression..."

He furrowed his brow lost in thought for but a moment.

"To be direct, I am looking for nomination into the Hellfire Club. It might sound shocking, but i've thought a lot about it. You yourself have experienced the benefits of it, and while I am sure it is far more complex a group than that..I am a founding member of the SIX. There is no group more complex than them. My goal is to run with the big dogs, Dominique, and there is a group of people in this town that are IN on the decision making. Sure we have politicians, but we both know that Politicians are NOT the ones who get things done in this town..The people who are apart of the conversation, Dominique, are the people I need to align myself with at this point..."

He realized he was being very serious. Cameron didn't want to come off as power hungry so much as entrepenurial. He had dreams and ambitions that far superceded The Zenith Group and the Parthenon Hotel. The Hellfire Club would give him access to resources he wouldn't be able to get on his own (or stupidly use his powers to get to.)

"A nomination from you would most certainly do the trick. I'm already a member of the Six. Anybody who hates Diana would most certainly push for me, and Diana herself might even budge. With the combination of people who are intrigued by getting closer to the Six and the people who see it as an opportunity to manipulate me, I think my nomination would be ratified in record time..."

[finishing his martini]

"As for Minerva's Aerie. I have mixed emotions as well. It's been a long time since my last caper and with so many of our team's strength waining, I most certainly feel the pressure. Still, whatever your feelings, I ask you to politely hold them at bay, for they may not be much to you, but to me...They are everything.."

The HoloDome

[ Earlier in the day, specifically pre-dawn, Sharon had awaken. She was known for litterally getting up with the birds, particularly her pet silver gryfalcons, who were currently being cared for at Minerva's Mansion, along with other special, rare, mythical animals.]

[ After morning meditation and stretching, she went to Apartment 6. She knew Cass didn't keep regular hours like a normal human or even most mutants or meta humans so she was not concerned about waking her. ]

[ once she greeted Cass and told her to get ready and to wear training gear, after Cass emerged, Sharon surprised her with a truly unique experience, flying her through the air HIGH ABOVE L.A. in the pre-dawn sky. A place that was uniquely her realm. With her level of durability and invulnerability, Sharon could go to places and environments hostile to most other biological systems and Cass, being one of the "undead" did not have a need to BREATHE in the traditional sense so there was no danger for her being this high up, unless of course Sharon decided to DROP HER. It was doubtful even a vampire would survive or would want to contemplate continued existence after falling to the ground from an altitude of 1000's of feet at high speed]

[ But there was no danger of that from Sharon either. She wanted to show Ruby the joy of experiencing FREEDOM, the joy that comes from finding new ways to appreciate something that is taken for granted every day!]

[ Time had passed. After that fun flying journey across LA they circle back around and instead of returning to MP, they land at the HoloDome, the state of the art facility owned by Nicolas and outfitted by Haleigh Davidoff. A gym, danger room, holo-envrionment generator that money could not by!]

Here we are.

[ She says as they land and she sets Cass down with ease[Sharon was 2nd only to Nicolas King in terms of physical strength]].

Thiis is the HoloDome that Nicolas had showed you before. This is where I will train you in the art of hand-to-hand combat.

[Once inside the immense structure, Sharon secured the entrance so no one other than the Six or their Allies could gain access, thus ensuring privacy and no interruptions. She activates some programs for different environments and simulations that will increase in complexity and difficulty at her command. THe first is a simple one. They are now on a dark street corner, near an alley, with only the light from flickering old lamp posts providing any illumination]

You're a vampire. Your vision does not depend on the quality of light. I know that you can't sense ME the way you would sense normal targets, foes ..."PREY" as some of your kind would call them, but you can see me standing here

[Sharon was now manifesting the full aspect of her Silver Swan persona, though her sharp metal wings were sheathed and her silver metallic nails were not extended. She also had her silver eye mask on. She she looked fearsome and powerful as she stood before Ruby.]

Attack me.

[ She commanded. Ruby looked bewildered]

Come forward! make your move! I want to gauge your abilities as they are now!

Don't be afraid....just DO IT!

[ she commands, shouting with just a FRACTION of her sonic power, which causes her voice to reverberate throughout the holodome and rattle Ruby's head just a bit]

[ The vampire lunges with the speed and agility of a jungle cat. It is not enough. Sharon EASILY side steps, grabs her by the wrists, using her own momentum against her as she spins her around and toses her to the ground]

You telegraphed that attack so easily, even a blind man could see it coming. Again.

[ Ruby tries again. Sharon ducks, spins around on the ground sweeping off her feet with an extended leg]

You are too obvious. You are accustomed to "prey" that does not possess the skill...or the WILL to fight back. You are accustomed to "prey" that will be intimidated by your vampire visage and be held in your thrall. Again.

[ she waits for Ruby to get up and beckons her to attack again]

I however, have natural resistance to psychic contact and telepathic domination, coupled with the mental discipline techniques taught me by the amazons, even Rampage can't telepathically ensnare me without considerable effort...the kind of time...that I would NOT allow him to have! AGAIN!

[ Ruby attacks AGAIN. Sharon grabs the oncoming vampire by her arm, YANKING her forward and just past her, slamming her armoured elbow into Ruby's back before swinging her forarm up bashing Ruby in the back of the head with her armoured fist and letting her go sprawing into a brick wall.]

[As harsh as these moves seemed, Sharon knew that as a vampire, Ruby had a higher degree of durability and was not as easily subject to pain as a human or even most mutants. ]

[ Ruby was getting visibly frustrated and upset]

You are giving me MORE power over you now that I know you're getting angry. If I were your ENEMY, I would have already desroyed you, cut off your head & turned the rest of your body into ground meat with my spinning stars.

You must understand that the foes you will face in the Six will NOT be intimidated by you simply because you're a vampire and if you come at them the way you come at your typical "prey" it is YOU who will become the prey.

AGAIN!

[ She commands.]

[ 2 hours pass. 2 dozen tries, two dozen FAILURES. Ruby is seen falling to the ground at Sharon's silver high heeled boots. Sharon stands above her look a menacing sentry.]

I have countered EVERY move you have attempted against me, using your own body language and emotions against you. Again, if I WERE your enemy, you would be destroyed by now.

Do you understand NOW that you have much to learn?

:: Cass felt weird. She was FLYING through the air via another PERSON. She could see all of L.A.: the Grove shopping centre, the Hollywood Sign, the Tar Pits, etc, etc. It was so weird...and yet so fun. She felt...free? She wanted to comment but the wind was too loud. After that bizarre flying experience - a PERSON was HOLDING her the entire time - they had landed near the warehouse. ::

"That...was amazing! Oh my gosh!"

:: Sharon smiled knowingly and headed into the warehouse. Cass just stared at her retreating back. It was so weird. It was like she KNEW Cass needed that experience. But...how? She followed Sharon through the doors still bewildered about the whole thing. Sharon went to the panel and pressed a few buttons and suddenly...they were in an alley. The ‘training’ began. Cass was pretty sure she wasn’t learning anything as she was constantly being humiliated at every turn. How many times had she ended up on the floor? Ten? Twenty? ONE FUCKING HUNDRED? Cass was pretty sure that this was Sharon’s revenge for her taking her own sweet time getting ready. It took everything within her to NOT ‘vamp out’ and attack the only friend she had in Los Angeles [since Ella’s been away on business]. Not that she could, of course. Sharon seemed to anticipate her every move. But at least she still looked good. Sharon had told her to wear training gear but she didn't have any. She was starting to think it would be a very wise decision to invest in some.::

:: The sessions went on and on. No breaks, no rests, no ANYTHING. Not that she needed them, of course due to the fact that she was a vampire, but it WOULD’VE been nice to have a few breaks. Failure after failure after FAILURE happened. It PISSED her right off. ::

Who ARE you?!

Silver Swan said:

:: Cass GLARED up at Sharon, her eyes glowing YELLOW by now. She wondered if Sharon was anticipating her to grab her boot and sweep her off her feet. Her hands clenched into fists and she jumped UP onto her feet from where she was laying flat on her back on the floor. ::

Element of surprise, element of surprise, element of surprise…

:: She faced Sharon and her arm shot out and grabbed her around the throat, and threw her down on the floor. ::

“How’s that?”

:: Cass stared down at Sharon...and stuck out her tongue. It was a rare thing for the dark-haired vampire to do, and it showed that her defenses were slowly lowering. ::

Delilah shifted in her seat. It was so hard to get comfortable these days, and her back ached. She took a sip of water with lemon.

“So, what’s going on with you two? What have I missed, stuck at Melrose Place?”

Mike inhaled...trying to decide if he should go ahead and get her ready for what was to come. Karen fixed HIM by touching his leg in a way that normally starts the launch sequence but so suddenly under a table caused him to kick the damned thing.

CRASH!!!

Mike sat forward at first, but Karen motioned to everyone and then went to 'magic' it away.

No dice.

Tried again. NADA.

Mike started to go for it but she used him to steady as she stood and started cleaning it up. He would have done more but he was actually kinda...shocked. Dee was studying him and he knew that she was gonna go all Maxwell Smart on him.

"Oh, be careful! Don't cut yourself."

Karen mentioned not feeling well.

"Maybe you need to lie down?"

Delilah glanced worriedly at Mike.

Mike went into cover mode, trying to sell it by leaning in and whispering to her.

She is sleeping less lately...fussing over your pregnancy. Probably just needs a bit more rest. She'll be fine. I'll have Nic check her out to be sure.

KAREN:What was that Michael?

Nothing baby. Just fluffing a pillow for D.

Mike pops a pillow lightly and settles back into his seat, his face restored to normality and betraying nothing.

<< Blaze went to bat for Morgan. She always seemed to know when to take the wheel. There was nothing quite like a sister having your back!>>

<< Nicolas responded...with equal candor>>

Nicolas said:

<< Morgan and Blaze expressed disapproval when Nicolas revealed what he'd done.>>

Oh Nicolas, how COULD YOU!?

Blaze: "Nic, REALLY!?"

<< But Nicolas stood STRONG by his convictions and really, he had done Morgan a HUGE favor because could hardly STOMACH the thought of having to speak to Bishop, much less telling him to come to Melrose Place.>>

<< Morgan bowed her head, interlocking her fingers and placing her hands over her forehead as she slowly exhaled and tried to calm herself. Blaze came over, standing beside Nicolas and placing a hand on his shoulder. She was glad he leveled with them after she opened up for Morgan , even if they didn't like what they heard. It had to be done. >>

Nobody is going to hate you. And if Delilah wants to blame some, she can blame ME. I am the team leader. It was I that she first made promise to keep this secret from Bishop.

It WAS my responsibility, once I was given the information. Her pregnancy has become so difficult, I felt it was NOT in her best interest to tell her any of this just now. Obviously you heard how this has had an effect on me, I'd probably a lot LESS of a mess if not for the fact that I feel like my very LIFE is being drained from my body.

And dont you dare say she or anybody else on this team doesn't need you! We need EACH OTHER!

Blaze: "Got that right! What did you say to me when we first met in MY timeline, Nic?" 'We Keep it TOGETHER, Firebird!'

<< Nicolas could feel Morgan trembling like she was weak or exhausted but she was doing a valiant job of appearing to be vital>>

You've done me a FAVOR...and you've done your part to ensure that this part of Alison's vision comes to pass. Goddess grant that it is enough to help AVERT the OTHER part of her vision.

I am not going to be able to protect her! I am...losing my POWER even as I sit here! So is Alison, and my mother! We're going to be....

<< her anxiety started to ramp up again>>

HELPLESS!?

Blaze: "No, no you're not! I'M here...and Circe has never faced FIREBIRD. She's expecting Foxfire and I am to give her a very PAINFUL wake up call! We'll ALL find a way to beat her, Morg, and stop Alison's vision from coming to pass the way she saw it!"

<< Nicolas knew Morgan well enough that part of being was rooted in the knowledge that she had the power to defend/protect herself and her loved ones. With her magick diminishing each passing moment, it was causing her incredible anxiety. He would remind Morgan that she STILL had her base mutant power, she was still a celestial scale teleporter AND she had the power of a wind elemental, courtesy of her father, which is what she used to fly! She was suffering but she was not alone, and she was far from helpless.>>

Nicolas stepped forward and took one knee as he gave Morgan a deep hug. That normally stopped this anxiety train and so he went with it even though Morgan was decidedly anti-PDA. Standing, he pulled her gingerly to her feet and looked into her face.

We all have obstacles sometimes on this path. This is simply another. Even with NO magic you are a celestial scale teleporter with the ability to use your disks offensively AND a wind elemental. Combined with your strength and your still off-the charts speed, you are STILL a formidable opponent. And Circe only gets one GOOD shot at this before the Blue Moon wanes just like the Red Moon did.

So let's get moving. We have things to do and quickly, like prepare Delilah and the others for Bishop's arrival. Might be time for one of those disks of yours. Then we can-

*sniffs*

-get you a brush and a gargle my dear.

Nicolas laughs as Morgan punches him in the chest with one hand while covering her mouth with the other JUST in case.

LOL! whatever! she already rinsed & gargled in her earlier post! :p
Zenith- Cameron's o ffice

:: Dominique could appreciate a strong, direct man. Like any delicacy, men such as these could be savored and enjoyed for the season and would make for pleasant memories with the passing of that season.::

::Cameron wanted Dominique's attention, she granted that. She was enjoying him, like a newly discvoered, exquisitely fine wine.::

::IF he were trying to deceive or play her, she'd know it. As Nicolas, Diana and Helena had seen before, Dominique was a savvy, fearsome woman in the business board room as well as the battle field and now, Cameron discovered she was equally deft in the bedroom as well.::

:: If a man was not ALREADY on her level, she would not reach down to pull him up. If he thought he was ABOVE her, that was not her concern, as she LEFT HIM to his own dilluted imagination and would regard him as little more than a passing stranger on the street.::

:: The changes in Cameron were more than cosmetic. They were complete and authentic. She found this development to be refreshing.::

:: His offer was appealing, covering her immediate requirements and offering more, with him only asking to avail herself for special events, holidays [though certain ones she would not entertain in the least because she considered them a farce] and basically having her on board as the STAR of the Parthenon. She couldn't help but momentarily think of ATHENA, for whom the original Parthenon was created as a temple and place of worship. Her avatar, ISIS, had known Athena Persephone and other Olympians. Unlike humans on earth, most diety pantheons across time and space did not use their differences to justify violence against each other. Instead they shared knowledge and formed bridges.::

I find your offer to be appealing, if not acceptable at this time.

:: She said with her clear elegant tone::

And you can rest assured that I will not be idle in my consideration of it.

:: shifting in her seat::

But, as I stated before I am not feeling well...and would rather not conduct business until I am in top form. We will follow up on this very soon, Cameron.

::Cameron continued, with bold ambition. Dominique's eyebrows lifted at his moxie when he directly asked for her nomination and sponsorship for membership to the HELLFIRE CLUB.::

As for Minerva's Aerie. I have mixed emotions as well. It's been a long time since my last caper and with so many of our team's strength waining, I most certainly feel the pressure. Still, whatever your feelings, I ask you to politely hold them at bay, for they may not be much to you, but to me...They are everything..

I have no intention of harming anyone among your group...not NOW at least.

The TRUCE between The Six and the Sisterhood remains in force. But my primary reason for joining Harbinger in her efforts to thwart Circe are directly due to my duty to safe guard NICOLAS and keep the threat of Set at bay. Never doubt that NOTHING comes before that and NO ONE is exempt from me using ALL of my power to stop them if that is what it takes.

Cameron, I am sure you are aware, that Hellfire membership is OFFERED, not solicited.

:: That being said...Cameron found himself being eyed by her in a rather...knowing...almost PREDATORY way ;)::

As the Black Queen of the Inner Circle, I certainly do have carte blanche to offer a person for consideration to Hellfire. But in order to gain access to the ruling body, the INNER CIRCLE, you would have to be a member of one of the 3 Queens' courts. Although you have changed...improved MUCH since our last encounter, I have yet to see how you would stand as a possible BLACK ROOK or BLACK KNIGHT...

:: In this much, she indicated that she was even CONSIDERING the idea of him being in Hellfire AND on HER court.::

Diana's pleasure...or displeasure is of no consequence to me. As long as the Inner Circle remain on one accord and those on each of our courts is in line with our goals and efforts, that is all that matters. THE REST is ENTIRELY personal.

But perhaps you should think more carefully about what you are asking for. If you were to successfully JOIN the Hellfire club AND the Inner Circle via the Black Court, it is highly likely that your sister and a vast majority of your friends would view this as an affront and betrayal. Which, knowing Harbinger as I have come to, would NOT be received or tolerated very well.

You'll note that NICOLAS, my nephew is NOT a hellfire member, nor is a part of the inner circl via the Black Court. It is simply OUT of the question...not merely due to his affiliation with the Six, but because I...I am not willing to entertain such development.

Silver Swan, Sharon Kelly, retains membership to the hellfire club via her deceased husband, Robert Kelly. But she has no dealings with the Inner Circle either.

:: Taking her purse in hand, Dominique was now preparing to take her leave of Cameron.::

Be careful, Cameron. When you ask for certain things, the cost and effect of getting what you want may proove to be more than you are prepared for and if "The Six" are "everything to you" as you say, you may want to reconsider this request...lest you lose the ground you have gained.

I say this NOT out of conern for them, but for YOU. It would be unfortunate to see you lose the stature that you now have.

:: Standing up, she turns on her spiked high heel and begins to walk away. She pauses and turns back a bit, looking over her shoulder::

Still...If you're prepared to PROOVE yourself, in terms of power...and OTHERWISE ( ;) ) I will consider you for the position of my Black Rook or Black Knight. But remember, I am a QUEEN and if you receive what you ask for, I will be YOUR queen. We shall see if you can service me accordingly.

:: The tone in her voice said it all as she looked at him with a knowing smirk and a sparkle in her aqua blue eyes.::

Ciao...for now.

:: Opting to leave him standing there think about what she said. She walks with poise and confidence right out of his executive suite, closing the doors behind her enterting an elevator and exiting the buildling.::

Cass said:
:: :: Cass GLARED up at Sharon, her eyes glowing YELLOW by now.

[ The young girl LAUNCHED at Sharon with more agression and use of her vampire attributes. She was quite strong and had force behind her physical movement, but she was not physically stronger than SHARON.]

[ Sharon went down, but in that same moment she grabbed on to Ruby's arm with a TIGHT grip, pulling Ruby down right along with her. Ruby was on top. Sharon still had her arm within her tight grip]

Good. You did not hesitate, nor did you attack out of pure emotion. But you also put yourself well within my reach.

[Knowing that twisting Ruby's wrist or apply pressure to a nerve would be useless, Sharon instead FORCES Ruby to let go of her throat, breaking her group as she wrench's Ruby's forearm and hand away from her throat and then forcibly rolls over, now top of Ruby]

And now that I have you. I would not let you go until I

[ Her other armoured hand raised, now holding a silver metallic disc with an air slicing sharp edge, she brings it down with such force! But instead of DECAPITATING Ruby, she slams the disc down INTO the ground RIGHT next to her. The adamantium metal could be heard slicing through the air as it was EMBEDDED into the ground next to Ruby. It gleamed after Sharon released it]

Cut off your head.

[ She waits for a moment, then gets off of Ruby, helping the girl up]

But I am not your enemy. Neither is the Six.

Today was your first day of training. You have potential, but you need to be refined, honed. That potential needs to be turned into an effective EDGE. You can either adapt to the times and circumstance in which you live and PREVAIL or you can be gripped and bound by your past loss and trauma, hampering your overall effectiveness and DIE. And if you choose the latter, you will die ALONE with no one to ponder any possible relevance your life may have had.

As I told you yesterday, You have a chance, and it lies with the Six. Never forget your past and what brought you to this point, but keep your eyes OPEN to look AHEAD to who you yet may become!

There is trouble looming on the horizon. An unquiet spirit roams the dark passages of the Underworld and she seeks to use a fateful circumstance to try to exact revenge and gain an advantage. She is an abomination to all that would live in this world and if she succeeds, she will stand triumphant among the broken bodies of the Six. YOU included. Your only chance is to stand WITH us, just as our only chance to avert this nightmare from coming to pass lies within ALL of us standing together!

[Sharon was now telling Cass that danger in the form of CIRCE was coming, and that she was not safe from it. That her fate was most definitely tied to theirs and that she would be apart of this caper.]

Let us go.

I will carry you back to Melrose Place. We will both need to prepare for this evening's festivities at the Parthenon and need to be ready to teleport with Morgan.

[With that, Sharon deactivates the HoloDome and once they exit, she secures it. Gathering Cass into her arms with ease, Silver Swan lifts off the ground with powerful thrust, climbing high in the skies, she takes off, streaking through the air like an arrow loosed from Artemis' bow across LA toward Melrose Place.]
