The Inferno Crisis: Hell on earth!

:: As Cameron and the rest of the Six were taken to Liquid Crystal Images, they were instantly taken from one elevator to the rest. Prophet noticed the change and thought it was quite clever. As they entered what appeared to be some kind of control room, Cameron remembered this place from a few nights he had spent there with Haleigh after the battle in the Citadle, where they both kept a close eye on everyone in Illustra. Not trusting people was a trait that both of them shared. The cameras showed the massive chaos that had befallen the city and it almost looked reminiscent of the 9/11 attacks, only this would be something that WOULD destroy the city and that the US Government would not be able to handle on their own at all. Prophet took a look at the monitor as he saw Morgan high atop the Empire State Building which now seemed to be almost demonic temple of sorts with Spellbinder at the helm. Prophet noticed the face in the carving immediately and concurred with Blaze on her obsvervation as well. ::

"I don't know if that demon is him.. but get a camera to zoom in on that demonic carving because that is his spitting image. Looks like Black is back, but how? Didn't we get rid of him in the Citadle? Did she bring him back from the past? And if so, why would he want to work with her. He spent most if not all of his life trying to kill her..."

:: Everything just seemed so crazy at this moment. First Morgan was taking over the city and bridging the gap between Earth and Limbo and now BLACK was back and in cohorts with Spellbinder herself! He looked over at Blaze. Her mind was racing with thoughts and concerns. The voices were so loud in Cameron's head that he almost couldn't bare it, but he had years to acclimate to his powers and he tried to soothe them into just one. He quietly whispered to her into her mind. ::

"Don't worry Blaze.. I agree with you.. I just don't know how he could possibly be back.. Are you sure you are ready for this? To face.. your sister? After everything that's happened now?"

:: Suddenly, As Cameron was in her mind something triggered a premonition as he was taken to the Orphanage he spent his first few years in after Erika had left him there. He saw Morgan, her smile taunting him in the night as he slept in his bed. He zoomed into the future where Guardian was showing Blaze what exactly was going to happen in the Inferno. He saw his younger version being thrown in the air and hit with a powerful eldritch bolt before the vision faded. Blaze's pupils seemed to widen. Prophet wanted more than ANYTHING to explode on everyone! People knew this? How many knew that his younger self would be sacrificed by the Queen of Bitchcraft herself? But something had changed in Cameron ever since the battle with his own Mother and after Morgan had nearly killed him three times. His outbursts and rampid behavior had many been the fuel to the fire of the Six and to Morgan herself. Everyone was working together for the first time in a long time, and for whatever reason, something told Cameron not to mess with that. Though Blaze experienced the memories Cameron saw as well and now she knew that he knew about his fate. She would be surprised to see he didn't say anything. He simply looked her in the eyes with a someone cold desperation as he turned back to the group ::

"So, what are we going to do? Any word on Ororo?"

< Erika watched the others in a quiet silence. For some reason, watching the Six NOT fighting was an even greater sight than watching them use their powers against each other. In all the time since her first interactions with the Six, this had been the first time she had ever seen them work together, let alone be remotely civil to one another. As the scene atop the Empire State Building was shown, Erika gasped out loud and it was audible to everyone. Slightly blushing, she just didn't expect the scene to be that runic and ornate. This was no longer New York City, but New Limbo. She thought things were bad now, but she had no idea that they could get much worse. Erika stood next to Alison as they both surveyed the scene, she tried to make a note about it, trying to put two and two together. >

"Well, maybe this isn't our version of Black? Isn't Spellbinder part of a trinity? There are three versions of her. Magik, Darkchilde and Spellbinder? Maybe this alternate Black would have no problem working with Spellbinder? And besides, isn't Morgan the least connected of her counterparts to Limbo than the others? Maybe Black is trying to help bridge this gap?"

< It may not have made any sense but Erika had to try and make sense of this situation. She looked around at the Control Room in Liquid Crystal Images and was rather in awe. This was some high tech stuff. She knew that Haleigh had ran some kind of underground Intelligence Agency, but this was getting pretty "Alias" to Erika. She pictured Haleigh as Sydney Bristow in all different kinds of costumes and dodging gun shots and the like. She was such an enigma. Though Erika wasn't sure if this group could hold together through this, they only had each other at this point, and to Erika that would have to be enough. After someone of a reconnection with her sister, she would wear the blood of Spellbinder on her hands if it meant that they could be together. The thought stopped Erika in her tracks. >

"What am I thinking?"

< Had Erika given into so much dark power that she was beyond redemption? That was a thought that Erika would have NEVER had before meeting the Six. This was a very conflicting time for her. She loved using the power to bring her sister back from the Spirit Realm, but she wasn't sure if she would like the repprocussions. >

Liquid Crystal Images- the control room

::Hearing Prophet and Erika...Guardian added in::

You're all forgetting something.. BLACK was an ENERGY CREATURE...not a demon. Further more, Ororo damned Black through the siege perilous...Shockwave and I saw him being PULLED APART once he was forced through the mouth of the gem. Whoever THAT creature is on the screen....this all ties into the time period that Spellbinder spent on the butte out in the ocean while we were on the west coast. there was a moment in which i was not able to sense Morgan in ANY passage of time. it was as though she completely had disappeared. When she arrived again..with her renewed , strikingly younger appearence and savage costume..it was until THAT VERY MOMENT that i was able to sense her in any timeline. I believe whatever happened during the time she disappeared will also explain the reappearence of this demon that appears to be Black. We NEED to get back to Illustra......the scrying glass will provide...

::stoping as she looked at another monitor::

all of you..LOOK!!

:: an aerial view of the ground..the same path to Illustra that Guardian had led Prophet and Alexis down the night the droids of MysTech had begun attacking the city...and now...amidst flashes of explosions...and demons and objects...Ororo could be seen flying...and another woman, blonde, riding side saddle on a large wooden beam [looking every bit like Elizabeth Montgomery in the opening theme of Bewitched]....right behind Ororo. both women fending off demons as flashes of energy could be seen emitting from each of their hands and blasting demons in the air and the ground below::

Ororo went to get Morgan's mother and they are making their way to Illustra!
and whats worse...the nearest, most PROBABLE time thread has the creature that appears to be Black...arriving to ATTACK them! We need to leave now. IS THERE AN XPRESS TUNNEL in this facility??

:: Alexis ran along side the group, heading into Liquid Image. reaching the elevator, the blonde was out of breath. Finally reaching their destination, she stood of to the side listening to the others speak of a plan. Ripping apart the lower half of her shirt, she skillfully wrapped it around the gash on her forearm as she continued to listen to the others discuss the current situation. Bitting down on part of the fabric, she pulled it tight, until finally, the blood stopped oozing from the hellish scratch. Lowering her forearm, she looked up at the scrying pool, looking over the images. ::

"Well...we need to get there quickly. Everything is getting worse by the minute."

Haleigh was stretched rather thin.... for from the moment she'd stepped from the elevator, people had been approaching her with problems. Hales returned solutions to several top priorities, and disregarded the rest, instead changing the focus of her subordinates.

"Initiate lockdown protocol. All agents in the field should finish their objective and go to the nearest safehouse. Begin Disaster Response... its too late for damage prevention. Evacuate all survivors..[pointing to Alexis] treat Miss Quartermaine's wound."

Everyone scattered, following direction, and one person came back with a first aid kit, asking politely to look at Alexis' arm. Haleigh was now bent over the terminal in the corner, typing commands and trying to close in on the figure everyone wanted to ID. she had several monitors change to different views of the Empire state building, including the large flatscreen one on its own wall. She was getting closer to succeeding when Alison pointed out Ororo. She looked up at Gaurdian, nodding... she'd been too distracted to hear her ask the first time.

"Yes of course.... I needed a way to get from here to there quickly after I moved into the tower. We must be on our way quickly."

She led them from the room, back to the elevator where she pressed another exec labeled button. She took them down a darker lit corridor before leading them onto a tram... it was quite nice... and obvious that Haleigh was the only one who ever used it. Haleigh sunk into a soft leather seat and entered an access code once everyone else had done the same. the doors shut and the tram lurched forward, gaining speed.

"Itll only be a couple of minutes... the real task will be getting back into Illustra... Morgan last arranged my security systems to treat the most of us like ENEMIES... I could override it... but not from outside the control room. Alison.... do you think you could fix that?"

Liquid Crystal Images-Xpress tunnel to Illustra

::moving with the others, Guardian seated herself in the carrier of the Xpress Tunnel. taking a few moments to check her ensemble and her hair...even SHE had her vain moments::

yes, i can override Morgan's last command into the computer, i was there when she set it, and i have access to all of her security/lock out codes. i can do that while we look at the scrying glass to help us "fill in the blanks".

there's no one inside Illustra...not even Marcus. I dont see us being greeted by anyone upon arrival. Illustra appears to be a CALM in the midst of this storm..only its outside has been taken over by Morgan's magick..but the INSIDE is fortified with her defense spells and will not be transformed.

::they make the trip in mere MINUTES...a very impressive addition added on by Haleigh to link the two buildings , although Morgan would be FURIOUS if she ever knew. Once they arrived at the docking point of Illustra, Guardian knew exactly where to go, and immediately began to move with a purpose. finding the private express elevator that only she and morgan had access to, she immediately drew forth an encrypted card and slid it through the reader...the elevator hesitated for a moment..but responded. Everyone was inside..and making their way now to the TOP floor...Morgan's Penthouse...Karen and Ororo were also on their way up....and so as far as helping citizens of NYC against the demons and GETTING to Illustra on time...the team had accomplished that much...the WORST still lie ahead::

:: As Haleigh directed a person to help treat her wound, the kind officer gently took Alexis' forearm, but only to have it snatched away from him. He looked somewhat startled...she didn't mean to offend him, but she was perfectly fine. ::

"I'm fine. Thank you."

:: Walking away from the officer, she followed the others into the elevator which leaded to Illustra. Leaning against the wall, she listened as Haleigh and Alison spoke of how they were planning on getting into Illustra and up to Morgan's penthouse. Crossing her arms, Alexis waited until finally, they reached Illustra. Stepping out of the elevator, she follwed Alison to yet another elevator which would lead the group to the top floor of Illustra. Glancing around the empty halls, after only a few moments, the evlevator doors opened allowing the group enter. ::

"So basically we have a bunch of spells to overcome before even getting to Morgan's penthouse..."

:: What fun. Alexis stepped into the private elevator awaiting the rest of the group to follow. Something somewhat unnevered Alexis about being in an elevator, heading up to the very top floor of Illustra...knowing that there were defense spells around. They might all be stepping into a trap--literally. But this was the only way to get up to the penthouse, so they had to take their chances..::

Haleigh's building to Illustra

** Blaze's anger was furiously boiling to the surface at this "clone" who looked identical to Black! Even if he wasn't the same creature, just seeing him caused a stir inside Foxfire. Both of her hands were tightly clenched into a ball making her knuckles appear to be a ghost white. Her normal soft green eyes were hard and cold, but it was at this time she heard a calming masculine voice fill her head. Looking around, Blaze was surprised until she registered it as Prophet. It took the young Mutant a moment to answer the question, would she be OKAY? Blaze wasn't so sure herself, she felt utterly betrayed by Morgan now by aligning herself with this look a like to Black! That unforgiving creature who brutalized her months ago. She replied back to Cameron quickly, her voice echoed inside his head and Cameron could hear and sense Foxfire's anger. **

I don't know if I'm ready for this....I wasn't prepared for this at all! But I don't plan on backing out now! With this creature who looks identical to BLACK, this will only fuel my fire....which will help me face Morgan! I have to stop pretending she's my "sister" and realize she's my enemy! The final hour draws near, Ororo will see to Morgan but if my sister provokes me, I won't negotiate anymore....all bets are off!

** Guardian's voice called out for everyone to observe the monitors. She noticed Ororo and then the unpossibly, Karen Victoria! Blaze released a very heavy and audible sigh. She knew Karen wasn't found of her, nor did she trust the mutant. But Blaze regarded Karen as stuffy and arrogant with vain tendencies **

"Great! My fan club is here! Although I'm sure she's got other fish in the sea to fry."

** She looked directly at Cameron and Haleigh. Foxfire knew Karen would most likely target them and then herself. Either way, she was in NO mood nor would she be polite if pestered with probing questions. She had a job to do, that was her goal. And if Karen thought about disrespecting the mutant, then hell would literally freeze over. Blaze followed the others out of the hall down to the tram. Stepping inside, she casually sat down, staring out one of the tinted windows. Her eyes piercing into the window until small black droplets rolled down her retina, making her eyes appear to be a black lava. No visible pupil could be pinpointed. Crossing her arms tightly across her chest, she waited for the tram to arrive at Illustra. It came to a slow stop, and Blaze was the second member up besides Guardian. Following the Seer closely, she noted how she vainly check over her hair and makeup. She adored Alison but sometimes she could be conceited. **

** Stopping behind Guardian a foot away while she swiped the reader with the card. Walking inside, she leaned her back against the wall, making room for the others to arrive inside the express elevator. Foxfire's mind was on this Black "twin." She hadn't realized the elevator motioned upwards. Blaze began to slightly shake, her temper was on the rise! Shutting her eyes, she struggled to calm herself. The volcano would erupt eventually, it was normal for Blaze Fielding. Lowering her arms at her waist, she opened her eyes, ready to step off the elevator. What was abnormal was the injury of Shockwave, Blaze didn't bother asking if she was all right, usually she did. Her own blood thirst building by the second. Her chest breathing heavier than before but she somewhat "appeared" to be calm. But that's like telling a hurricane or a tornado to stop....you couldn't....just wait for it to arrive. **

Haleigh nodded to Alison... it was REMARKABLE that they actually COULD carry ona conversation without a single reference from one to the other's inferiority. relaxed into the leather seat, rubbing her eyes. She took a deep breath... theyd barely begun this task and already it was starting to wear on her. Karen would be at Illustra... Haleigh knew Karen didnt like her.... but it really didnt mean too much... because Haleigh was the only one Karen didnt like that could pull the debt card... Since Haleigh'd had Karen watched over and protected from Mystech... and the Husband form hell... she could always quiet any attitude slightly easily. Still... the idea of a permanent bridge between Limbo and New York was depressing.

A flatscreen panel lowered itself from the ceiling of the tram... it flickered with a CI logo before opening a window with a woman's face in it. Those of the six sitting behind Haleigh would get their first look at Jennifer, Haleigh's executive assistant, who had previous only been seen by Morgan at the charming little diner theyd visited the day theyd met.

"Director Davidoff... there you are. You hurried out of there so fast I didn't get to give you your message. Mrs. Allusi called.... she said she tried to reach you on your cell after you called but she got an 'out of service range' response. Shall I play it for you or just recap?"

"Play it Jen."

A smaller window opened up in the lower right corner, it was dark with a light green line that looked like a heart monitor and peaked and valleyed with the pitch of the voice speaking in the message. Haleigh couldn't help but notice Cassandra sounded a little out of breath... or tired or something. She felt a spike in that terrible feeling she'd had for days.

Message: "Peaches... hey... I... uh... listen... we need to talk... I have something to tell you that can't be done on the phone... we'll have to meet.... I can't come back yet... in fact, I think Ill be delayed here for quite some time... give me a call back... we'll arrange something."

Haleigh stared at the screen blankly. "That will be all, Thank you Jen." Why couldn't she have gotten a better sounding message? hales knew there were several things that couldn't be said over the phone... but this sounded worse than even she could imagine. The panel folded back up to the cieling and Haleigh absentmindedly followed Alison to the Elevator, folding her arms across her chest.

Illustra- the top floor

::hurrying through the upper floors of Illustra...all was incredibly quiet and silent through the building. Ironically enough, it was Morgan's magicks and invested persence in the building that PREVENTED the inner structure from being taken over by the Inferno as easily as the outside had been...but the temperature WAS quite chilly...and there was no longer any sense of vitality...only that of gloom and silence::

Ororo: well, amazingly enough, we have obtained entry but i suspect this is when things will begin to go from bad to worse. The Six will arrive soon...

::looking over at Karen as the two women take a respite in a hidden alcove on the top floor::

i know you arent fond of them...you do not trust Blaze, and you instinctively blame Cameron and Haleigh for this...

Illustra-top floor

<<sitting on the seat closest to the wall..and looking out of the window...Karen could see the devistation.. the sun was beginning to set..the demons would reach a frenzy in this night under the power of a red moon. She could feel her dauther's wrath and desire for vengeance all through the air. It broke her heart..her beautiful little girl who was so bright, fearless, and outgoing as a child...was now this cold, heartless woman who surrendered her humanity>>

Ororo.....rationally speaking, i realize that there's no way you or I could have prevented this. But i DO blame Haleigh and Cameron...and I've NEVER trusted Blaze. She's christopher's daughter..she looks like him...and has his ways about her. Morgan instinctively wished to protect her upon realizing they were sisters, that was Morgan's nature. But can we REALLY trust Blaze? and when this is over....what is going to be done about Cameron and Haleigh..THEY are in largely responsible for this.

::Karen was now in a beautiful black "flying suit" with cape. the outfit was more traditional of a witch...and it befit Karen's forbiding, regal presentation. She and Ororo complimented each other in their looks and stature.::

::Ororo also looked out of the window. they were basically hiding in plain site by remaining in Illustra...and with a terrifying ring side seat to the chaos...Ororo found herself remember all to well OTHER situations similiar to this from times and spaces past. She heard Karen's reply and nodded::

Ororo: I do understand your anquish, and I too am not fond of those two. they have thus far erroded the fabric of this team. But one thing at a time my friend. First we save the city and our Morgan....and then, let ME deal with those two.

::her tone was so grim and cold...almost as cold as the air around them. What did she mean by that? well, that will reveal itself in due time. but for now, the two women rest...and wait::

::Guardian stands at the face of the doors on the elevator..as they near their destination::

this wont be easy....or pleasant. Karen is very agitated, Ororo is very pessimistic. Not that they do not have just cause. Haleigh, Cameron, stay OUT of Karen's way...she blames you two more than anyone for what has happened. She has never forgiven Blaze..for simply being who she is, the daughter born from an extra marital affair had by Christopher. She consider's Blaze to be "Christopher's Daughter"..NOT "Morgan's half-sister"...and barely tolerates her for Morgan's sake...but when the final hour comes, her presence here will become most vital.

We'll have a few moments to look to the scrying glass for info before this creatuer who appears to be "Black" shows up.

::they reach the top floor...a soft ding heralds the opening of the doors. they can ALL feel the bitter chill in the air...and the eerie silence. it was as if time had stopped within illustra. the halls were grey and dimly lit...as Alison stepped out and waited for the others.::

** Blaze couldn't believe what Alison was saying, so she carried Christopher's blood, so what?! It wasn't her fault her "father" couldn't keep his dick in his pants. Why should she suffer because of it. Rolling her neck around on her shoulders, Blaze's eyes easily expressed anger. Turning to Guardian, she started to lose it, throwing her fist violently against the elevator door. **

"DAMNIT Alison! Why must I PAY for who I am....whose SEED I am from! I'm not thrilled to be his daughter but its not FAIR I am judged because of it. If anyone is Christopher's daughter is MORGAN, look at her out there destroying the city! I don't mean to throw a tantrum....I'm just not thinking clearly....and I cannot hold back my emotions anymore....just please....keep me AWAY from Karen! I know she detests me....but there's so much more to me than anyone has ever known....if only I was given a chance."

** Looking down, Blaze massaged her knuckle, which was cut up from her strike. The elevator itself suffered a large dent from Blaze's rage. Shaking it off, she followed Guardian off the elevator. Shoving her hands inside her pockets, Blaze avoided eye contact by ALL, a sign she was upset. Her emotions were so rapid by now, she continued to struggle her internal and external conflicts. She at least knew Guardian didn't judge her...the Seer saw through Blaze's protected heart. Her eyes adjusted to the dimly lite hallway, focusing her eye sight more accurately. **

"Will she ever give me a chance Alison...I have to know....please..."

** Blaze's voice was desperate for answers and she knew Alison would openly tell her. She hated this situation, it was taking a heavy toll on Blaze emotionally and physically. Probably more emotionally then anything though for she felt more than any of the six, her emotions so passionate. But when the time came, Foxfire could be counted upon. **

:: Looking up at Alison, Alexis listened....Karen? Ahh great. The woman who taught Morgan everything she knows. Either she was a major bitch, or she was a major bitch. Ha, what a choice! Shifting her eyes to Blaze, she could see how angered the woman was....this entire situation as completely draining, and the fact that she was even sane was amazing. Keeping a close eye on Blaze she watched as the woman exploded....honestly, Alexis knew EXACTLY where she was coming from. Because she was raised by Adam Chandler and not raised by her real family, Helena considered her a black sheep....and Helena's influence over the rest of the Quartermaine's only made Alexis even more hated in the Q's eyes. So if anyone could relate to Blaze's frustration and pain, it was Alexis. Watching everyone step out of elevator, Alexis gently took Blaze's arm, stopping her. ::

"I understand your frustration, Blaze. Believe me...I do."

:: Shock's voice was quiet as she spoke sincerly to Foxfire. Looking into her eyes for a few moments, she let go of Blaze's arm before stepping forward past the woman. Looking down the dark corridor, the meta human raised her hand as the dimly lit hallways eluminated a little brighter, making it easier for the six to see. Looking to Alison, the meta human spoke once again. ::

"You keep mentioning how Karen blames Haleigh and Cameron for everything....and ....how she dislikes Blaze...But, does she have a problem with me? Perhaps since i'm the middle man in this, I could do something to keep Karen in line during this ordeal."

:: It was just a suggestion, because throughout this caper, it seemed like Morgan would always bypass Alexis and go straight for the others....perhaps Karen would look at Alexis the same way. ::

:: Cameron knew that soon they would be standing in front of Ororo and Karen. He knew that the Mother of Morgan would most certainly side with her daughter and hate Cameron and Haleigh. If only Karen could see how cruel her daughter could be without any provokation from himself or Haleigh. That was the thing that people never seemed to understand. Cameron wouldn't have been able to draw that much rage out of Morgan if it hadn't existed there for some reason or another. Blaze talked about paying for who she was and that was exactly what Prophet had been doing ever since he became part of the Six. He was the only man and by being a man alone Morgan was almost predisposed to hate him. But that wasn't his fault. Sure he may be arrogant and overbaring at times but so was Morgan. He didn't understand why he should have to censor himself in order to stop Morgan from falling down a path she would have went down without his help. As the Express Tunnel stopped and the Six entered Illustra, Cameron was immediately intuned to the harsh and coldness within the Building. It was as if time had frozen inside the mighty building. Everything was the same and even though it should have been a comforting thought, it wasn't. If Morgan could protect Illustra from the darkest magicks of her own, than what chance did the Six have at stopping her at all? He tried to intervene. ::

"Alison, I will stay away from Karen. I promise. My only hope is that she doesn't explode upon seeing the three of us. Blaze, right now we can't afford to get our feelings hurt. We need to be strong... set aside our differences and work together, if only to save the city.. and Morgan.."

:: He went back to what she had said before about knowing that her sister was the enemy. Prophet wondered if Blaze would try to be the martyr when they faced Morgan. Would she try and solve this herself? She shouldn't. Blaze would most surely get killed, but right now Cameron was in survival mode. The same one he learned from his time on the streets. If it was anyone who knew how to survive, it would be the three who had been killed before and came back. There would be Black Widow, Prophet and Foxfire standing up at the end of this, like they always did. Or at least he hoped. Would they be able to live to see another day? The tone in the elevator had been that of an impending doom. Things were so serious and everyone must have been contemplating whether or not they would make it. He waited for Guardian to lead them to the Scrying Glass. Her appearance would most certainly soothe the thoughts of Karen and Ororo. ::

meeting in the hall

<< Before Guardian could answer, a clap of thunder seems to UNDERSCORE the sudden appearence of Karen and Ororo..standing tall and facing the group in the hall>>

<<in an icy voice, dripping with disdain>>: i think we can manage to work together long enough to reach our common goals dont you?

<< Karen stood tall...with a very unforgiving facial expression.it was a stark contrast to her beauty. it was easy to see where Morgan got her bewitching looks from. It was unclear just how Karen manifested her magicks either. Her icy blue eyes zeroed in on Blaze, Cameron and Haleigh..giving them each a hatefull glare before looking upon Alison and Alexis>>

<< Turning to Alison and embracing her>> Alison....im glad you're allright. Ororo told me of your ordeal.

Miss Chandler-Quatermaine? <<extending her hand to shake Alexis'>> Dr. Victoria.

<< looking back at the rest of the group without bothering to acknowledge them. before turning away to walk with Ororo and Alison. it was clear that these three women were at the fore front of this caper...with Alexis having a BETTER chance at a rapport with Karen and the rest of the group being smart to interact with primarily Ororo or Alison. There was no telling what Karen knew about them..or what she would say or DO if things degenerated that far...and now was not the time for "in fighting". >>

::hugging Karen Back...Guardian smiled and was happy to see her surrogate mother after all this time::

<<sigh>> it has been rough, but with Ororo and my sister, Erika's help...I managed to survive the first phase of this nightmare. Let us pray we all make it through the FINAL act.

::yet ANOTHER first, as Guardian referred to Erika as "her sister"...without a hint of strain or disgust. perhaps it was absent minded, or on purpose..but either way it was another first for the cold and marble hard Alison.::

::the two older women and Alison made their way down the hall, leaving Alexis, Blaze, Haleigh and Erika standing there. reaching the double doors, SURPRISINGLY there was no warding spell. Not since they had left for Erika's mansion on the west coast. Morgan apparently didnt think she'd be gone for long..but either way..it made for EASY access and saved time::

Well...we are inside Morgan's penthouse. its just as chilly and stagnant in here. Maybe now we can get a few answers to some of the more confusing aspects of this situation. not to mention a CLOSER look at what Morgan is doing.
