::As Devon continued to sit there drinking, absorbed in his own thoughts, he began to think about this current Hellfire club. He was honoured with the position as the White Bishop, however, Devon has yet to know what exactly he was going to do in this hellfire club. Then, he thought about the candidates for the positions. So far, Christy has becomed the black queen, which makes him wonder who the white king will be. If there is one of course. Then he thought of the possibilities. Brenthon? Devon then noticed Lord Ikaris speaking to him which suggests he might be employed. Devon then looked over to Lady Farrah, and noticed a tall looming figure beside her. Ah. Indeed. Morpheus. The Titan who has captured Lady Farrah's heart. Perhaps he would become the white king. It was a possibility.::
::Nevertheless, Devon gradually felt the boredom creeping over him. He decided he should do more exploring. Standing up, he beckoned to Julis to follow him. Devon then thought of where he might head to. He had thought of viewing the garden in its splendor, but he didn't feel inclined on meeting Kurama in the midst of his rendezvous. Without much choice, Devon decided to look around the mansion furthur. As he walked towards the crystal stairway, he paused for a moment and turned around facing Julis::
"Hey... Is there anywhere in this mansion you feel might be worth my visit?"
Julis: "My Lord, i would suggest that you head to the balcony at the forth level. It has a magnificent view. And its really quiet up there. Not even the servants go up there... Also my Lord, your quarters should be near completion."
:: Devon then pondered for a few moments before answering. ::
"Well, i'll go take a look at this foyer you speak. I'll visit the progress of my room shortly after that. Forth floor is it?"
:: Devon then walked up to Julis, and grabbed her hand. A black spiral forms around the two of them with a low rumbling noise, as Devon ad Julis disappeared. At a certain part of the forth level of the mansion, a black spiral forms with a low rumbling noise, depositing Devon and Julis. Devon then turns to Julis telling her to show him the way, while noticing her shocked expression, suggesting she probably wasn't very used to any other form of transportation aside walking. As Julis akwardly led the way, Devon followed her from behind. Soon, they arrived at this balcony, which brings to view indeed the most magnificent sight Devon had laid eyes on. Down below, was the beautiful graden of the mansion, with various exotic flowers and trees. Admidst them, birds of different colours were seen flying about carefree and swift. In a short distance, beyond the mansion, a stretch of grasslands can be seen, with a peaceful lake in the middle. around the grassland, were animals were grazing. On the Lake, storks were seen flying around, and a family of swans swimming around happily. Devon had low regard for human life, but he's always had a certain affinity to nature and other living things aside from humans. In a furthur distance, a hill or moutain of some sort can be seen, with its oeak covered in mist, and water pouring down from it in a cascading waterfall. It was indeed a beautiful sight. The scenery totally lifted his spirits. In a much better mood, Devon turned round to face Julis, giving her a sincere word of thanks which was something that came very unoftenly::
"Well, Julis, i must say you have indeed brought me to a wonderful place. You have made me very happy."
::Julis smiled in satisfaction, glad that her Lord enjoyed it. However, Devon noticed a man coming up from behind. He didn't reconise that man, suggesting it must be a servant. The servant came up and spoke::
"Julis! What are you doing here! You're just a servant! You know you're not allowed here!"
::Hearing the man speak harshly to his personal maid-servant, Devon felt enraged and indignant::
"Excuse me boy! Are my presence here invisible to you? Who the heck do you think you are speaking in a tone like that in front of me? What gives you right to speak to MY servant in a voice like that? You have no idea what you're getting yourself into. If it weren't for the fact that this is Lord Ikaris' place, you would have found yourself quite dead by now. Get out of my sight!"
Servant: "My apologies. You must be one of the Lords. Bu i beseech you, a servant like Julis have no place here. I beg you to allow me to take her away so you might enjoy yourself."
Devon: "WHAT!? YOU DARE REBUTT ME? Julis brought me up here, and who i wish to have by my side is NON of your business. And aren't YOU a servant YOURSELF? What are you doing here with NO permission? I tell you one last time, GET OUT OF MY SIGHT before you regret it!"
::By now, Devon could hardly control his anger. But all the sense in his head told him to refrain from killing this worm. He knew it would bring terrible consequences if he did anything to the servants here. By now, the man had taken his leave while shaking in fear. Devon was not just angry with the man, but pissed that his joyous mood was utterly destroyed. Julis stared at him in admiration and awe, which contained a certain glint of love. Devon however took no notice of it. He did not do it for Julis. That didn't cross his mind at all. Instead, all he did was fulfill his natural disatisaction to someone who did not show him respect. He turned in disgust and left the balcony, heading down the stairs towards his designated room, in a rather foul mood, while Julis followed behind quietly::
