War Room

[ Sharon heard the breathing and heart beat pattern of a new arrival. He didnt bother to sneak in. She looked upon the tall man.]

“So, what did I miss? We heading off to kick some MysTech arse or what?”

He smiled broadly at the three people he hadn’t met yet, a tall blonde that looked like she was about to kick someone's ass, a pretty Asian girl and a tough looking Black kid.

hmph. not a with a scrawny looking thing like YOU.

[she replied dismissively as she expressed her agitation. Delilah reprimanded him. Where had he come from? ]

“Sharon, Richard, Ana-Leigh – this is Andrew. He is going to be joining our team. He is a hyperkinetic.”

She paused.

“And a pain in the ass.”

Andrew just smiled, which made it worse.

[ Sharon eyed him...like the crow had eyed Bishop in central park a few days earlier. Still, if he was here with Delilah's permission, there was no need for Sharon to dwell on him too much...until he made the mistake of getting in HER way.]

“As I was saying…it’s not a surprise these incidents are MysTech-related. The question is, what do we do now. I don’t think we can wait much longer to make our move – they are getting too bold. Much too bold.”

I overheard one of the people of Terra Save the day I sent birds to attack Senator Ron Davis. A woman who said her child was abducted by mystech soldiers in the night and that "they know where all the mutie children are. they have access to records" and more.

Dr.Victory said something about a place called...NERVOUS. It's a data center where they track and compile information on mutants all over the globe and target areas where mutant births are high to "harvest" the babies or young children for experiments.

Mystech thrives on information. Maybe we should start there...

<< Karen audibly expressed displeasure, exhaling with annoyance as she rolled her eyes, turned up her nose and shook her head.>>

“Doctor Victoria, a pleasure as always.”

<< She replied in a tone of icy contempt. Karen was VERY unhappy but she did her best to compose herself, shifting in her seat a bit, crossing her legs at the knee.>>

<< Delilah continued on. Sharon mentioned a place called NERVOUS. A place that Karen's husband had referred to. If Delilah and Bishop were unable to pull up anything from their computers here, Karen had an idea of how she might help with that bit of information.>>

<< But for now, she sat, casting a disdainful glance to Andrew, who had invited himself to sit next to Mina. It appeared that neither Bishop or Sharon were too impressed with him either. While the younger ones in the room seemed to be a bit intrigued by him. >>

 

[Ana-Leigh Moreau]

Ana took a seat in the war room and relaxed back with a sigh. What happened at The Parthenon was beyond crazy...and it was starting to finally settle in. As Delilah asked if anyone needed healing, Ana-Leigh shook her head gently moreso spent than hurt. Delilah and Sharon were in the midst of a discussion when suddenly a new face entered the room talking in a thick British accent asking about zombies. He was hot but also cocky. And apparently he had already rubbed Delilah and Karen the wrong way.

As Delilah introduced her to him, Ana gave a polite smile.

"Nice to meet you."

She wasn't the type to judge a book by it's cover, so despite some of the others obvious disdain towards Andrew, Ana-Leigh had no reason to be a bitch toward him. At least not yet.

 

[Rampage]

He found out the new kid's name was Andrew. And that he was already on D, Doc, and SS's bad side. Shit!

A pleasure. It seems you have already made a first impression man. Good luck with that. But any enemy of Mystech is good with me.

Rich chuckled as he saw the older adults roll eyes at this kid. What could he have done so bad? And who gives a damn as long as he is willing to go right at Mystech?!

War Room

The new people introduced themselves. The blonde with the silvery – silvery – eyes shot him with a piercing gaze. Strangely, she reminded Andrew of a bird…

Hmph. Not a with a scrawny looking thing like YOU.

He smiled at her that practiced smile. She was clearly checking him out and trying to hide it.

“Don’t you worry, I’m full of surprises gorgeous.”

And then, Karen cut in:

That "pleasure" is YOURS ALONE.

He eyed her with a serious look.

“Now, Karen, don’t be jealous. You know I only have eyes for you.”

He batted his eyelashes at her and let his mouth stretch into a broad teethy smile which he kept smiling as he moved fluidly to the young dark haired girl Delilah had introduced.

"Nice to meet you."

“Why, hello.”

Andrew took her unoffered hand, and kissed it before letting it go and looking to the guy sitting next to her.

”A pleasure. It seems you have already made a first impression man. Good luck with that. But any enemy of Mystech is good with me.”

Andrew nodded his head once at Richard.

“Good man. Alright.”

Connor was scowling at him and Delilah was giving him “the look”. He sat back down in his chair and mimicked locking his lips with a key and throwing it away, then motioned for her to proceed.

Andrew was being Andrew. He really missed his calling as a performer…trained monkey perhaps? She just shook her head and turned her attention to Sharon.

Delilah was nodding.

“Connor and I will see what we can find out.”

She looked at him – he looked like he was about to spit bullets at Andrew.

“Is that training room that Alison designed ready?”

He nodded, silently.

“I think everyone needs a good night’s sleep after what we’ve all been through today. Tomorrow, we’ll research while the four of you get in some more practice working together.”
