RULES

-SPELL WAR! YOU MAY ONLY USE SPELLS FROM THE DARKHOLDE THAT ARE APPROVED FOR YOUR CURRENT LEVEL.

-NO PHYSICAL CONTACT IS ALLOWED!

- Play within your level

- NO ooc/spam clutter

- NO fatalities (though you can remove your opponent from the battle by rendering them unconscious or unable to fight)

- Observe standard AHBL rules

- Session ends in 72 hours

*1500 Gil will be awarded to all participants. Falire to show up to battle will result in a 1500 gil deduction*

The call to battle is issued from a dark and shadowed arena. Torches placed around the walls light the sand covered floor. Scorch marks can be seen upon the columns and walls. Ikaris' voice can be heard echoing through the darkened halls.

"Let the Battle Begin!"
 
:: A showering cascade of lightning rains down as a huge lightning bolt, coupled with a powerful crack of thunder, strikes down in the center of the cascade and materializing into the titan known as Morpheus... ::

:: The titan stood ready in his trademark black nylon taekwando gi with black combat boots covered with black shin/instep guards. He had a look of disdain across his face, something unusual for a man of his character, but due to his briefing of having to do battle in a "magick-only" thread, he was disappointed in not being able to utilize his physical prowess. It made him feel like he was binded and it frustrated him. Morpheus nodded to Ikaris who noticed his arrived and then looked back at the empty battlefield, a sarcastic smirk falling across his face... ::

"Magick, hmph... These fools are lucky I can't whoop their asses my way... Let's get this overwith..."
 
:: Small tremors were felt in the realm. The ground opened and a pile of clay burst from the opening. The pile of clay was slowly forming a human figure and there stands Jinx wearing a brown sleeveless blouse with matching black fitted leather pants. Her long hair was pulled down, shining at the streak of light...The ground closed again as if nothing had happened..Jinx slowly flips her hair and looked around for someone who wants to have fight with her..::

"Hello there Morpheus, this fight is interesting don't you think?..Let's not waste time..."

::Jinx smiled at him but instantly frowned and cast a spell on him..::

"When our eyes look up to meet,
you will find moving a hellish feat!"


igniting this spell will disrupt the harmony between the brain and the body......causing a sudden and painful as well as TOTAL PHYSICAL PARALYSIS of your foe. The duration of this spell lasts one post longer than your level.

::Jinx smiled wickedly as the spell takes into place..::

"how does it fells to be paralized huh, Morpheus.. Oh! silly me, you can't even talk, can't even move an inch.."

::Jinx burst into laughter, seeing him helpless is indeed a very amusing thing to see..::
 
:: Rama appears on the scene in a bolt of rose petal lightnig. He is decked out in his combo costume. He looks to the two fighters already there. And seeing as Jinxed had just imobilized Morpheus, Rama should do the same to Jinxed, he quickly recites a spell ::

Time is fleeting, its winds they rage!
Let my form now serve as gauge
Time be cruel, your touch severe
Caress this witch/mortal with all my years!


this spell invokes the powers of time and causes the person it is ignited against to experience rapid, debilitating aging thereby nullifying their physical skills and hindering their ability to weild magick effectively.

:: Rama points at Jinxed while reciting and smirks with joy as the spell takes place and as she begins to become decrepit and old. ::

"Now then you were saying something to Morph about not being able to move?"
 
:: Morpheus doesn't notice the appearance of Jinx until it is too late as she casted her paralysis spell, totally immobilizing him from head to toe... ::

(See, this is exactly why I hate magick, I have to deal with people using cheap $hit like this... Ok if that's the way they want to play, I got something for em...)

:: Morpheus watches as Kurama who appears on the seem, casts an equally deadly spell, as Jinx begins to rapidly age to a decrepit state. The titan not being able to move or speak, his eyes roll to the back of his head as he concentrates, summoning his astral form to the battlefield... ::

Astral Morpheus - "Im not outta this yet..."

:: The titan fixes his eyes upon Kurama... ::

Astral Morpheus - "You first..."

This spell causes your oponnet to become tonguetied. They can say no spells/words/prhases/etc..... This spell lasts for:
Lvls 1-3: 3 Posts

:: Seeing as how Kurama could no longer speak, taking away the threat of him chanting another spell at either Jinx or himself, Morpheus then turns his attention to Jink who is seemingly weak from her rapid aging... ::

Astral Morpheus - "And now old lady, time for you to take a dirt nap... "

This spell will cause your opponent to fall into a deep sleep that lasts for 4 posts.

Astral Morpheus - "That's right 'grandma', go to sleep..."
 
OOC: CJ, sorry but Jay (Ikaris) Said only spells, no powers whatsoever so you couldnt have done that. Also you can only cast one spell per post, I have consulted Farrah (Darkchilde) on this before and that is what she has told me herself

:: Euthalia queitly and suddenly appears near a corner of the arena. She looks at each of her participants closely and decides to attack Morpheus. ::

Let the evil that dwells within the sky take form
Let it now surge with anger and malice
as the heavens now part, blast my foe with this dark storm!

igniting this spell causes a sudden and violent dark cloud burst. dark clouds billow in the air above the target...unleashing shattering blasts of thunder, cold air and dark lightnig bolts. the higher the level of the person igniting this spell, the more times their target is struck by dark lightning!

"You know I've always loved lightning for some reason."
 
OOC:Storm for your spell to be effective against Jinxed your age has to be over 75. It grants the physical appearance of the casters age to the victim. If Rama is over 75 then all is good, otherwise Jinxed is able to withstand the attack and can counter it. Good call on the astral forms unless its a spell, its not usable.
 
OOC: Well the darkhold needs to be updated to say that lol. but okay ill just do my new attack here since there have already been some posts
BIC:

:: After Rama appears on the field he quickly strikes Jinxed with a spell ::

"Hear the screams of the banshee
Pierce the ears deep like the sea
Experience the suffering and pain
Feel her powerful evil reign"

casting this spell creates a defeaning sonic attack...summoning the scream of a banshee. the sonic scream drowns out all other vocal patterns and causes immense physical head pain as well as mental pain and when level 4 thru 6 Banshee's cast this spell... it will cause the head of the target to explode. the spell's length matches the level of the person casting it.

:: Rama watches on as the scream strikes Jinxed causing her great pain mentally and physically ::
 
::Appearing in a dark dust Drag is instantly ready to fight::

From the negative energy within, form a ball of Sin!

a simple diversionary spell for trainees and level 1 members . this spell summons the negative energy lurking within a target and calls it forth into a sphere of dark energy which may then by hurled by the caster at his/her target. This attack causes momentary distraction and pain

::Firing it at Euthalia, Drag prepares for a retaliation::
 
:: Euthalia put up her hands letting them get scorched by the dark energy, a look of pain came over her face and she shook the pain away quickly and then turned around to face Drag. ::

Mountains Tremble! Quake and Groan!
Bury this foe under Crushing Stone!



this spell works in conjuction with your own conjuration power and will manifest large boulders above your target. the boulders rain down on the target with force and velocity. a great spell for diversion and pain

:: She screamed those words and then waited for his response to her attack. ::
 
::After getting buried under the boulders, Drag crawls out of the rubble and slowly speaks a spell::

Dark Illusions all around this night
Manifest now and destroy my enemie's might!

this spell will work on any average foe. calling forth the manifestation of thier fears and gripping them with terror. allowing the person igniting the spell the upper hand. this lasts one post/attack

"FEAR THE DARKNESS SURROUNDING YOU!"

::Drag begins to laugh as Euthalia screams in terror::
 
:: Euthalia's eyes grew wide as she was surronded in pure, silent darkness. She covered her mouth before she could let out a scream trying to brave the fear. She shouted out a spell. ::

Seas most evil and black
rise up and rage
surge forth with speed and grace
as i remove my enemy from this place

This spell will summon a rushing torrent of water to be directed at your enemy. The damaging effect of the torrent of water depends on the level of the person igniting the spell

Level 1: rushing flow of water will cause the enemy to lose balance.

Level 2: the forceful current of water will force the enemy back a distance.

Level 3- the sudden blast of water will knock them down flat.

Level 4- Tidal Wave will smash the enemy . knocking them down, battering them senseless and leaving them without a decent breath

:: Euthalia continued screaming( making sure not to send out sonic waves to cause headaches) as Drag's spell was still in progress. ::
 
::A tidal wave sweeps Drag off of his feet and he crashes to the ground....soaked::

"Gee thanks..."

::Getting up he chants a spell::

Noxious Clouds Take his/her Breath!
Give her a Painful Death!


This is a poison spell. igniting it will summon a dark cloud of venom that will sorround the enemy and painfully poison them.

::Watching as a cloud develops over Euthalia, Drag stands up and watches with an evil smirk on his face::
 
::Jinxed saw Kurama enter the realm and recite a spell.. Jinx then heard a defeaning sonic attack.. she covered her ears to lessen the pain in her ears but to no avail.. She gathered her strength and hide behind Morpheus..so that he would be in between Kurama and herself...She kneeled in pain, unable to withstand the immense pain the spell is giving her...::
 
OOC - Ok then omit all I posted, Im paralyzed, just go ahead and do your thing. Hell, Jinx you can even start over on the three posts that you were entitled to for your opportunity to attack or whomever else wants to attack. Let's just get this overwith. Im not going to start any "high school" type of drama, Im just going to end it here. But I will still give my opinion when I say MAGIC SUCKS, and nobody can hang with me in a physical thread. Just my humble opinion, so dont start trippin'. All I ask is that whomever gets the jump on Morpheus, to give him a decent burial. Thank you.

BIC - :: The muscle-bound titan can only watch helplessly as he cannot move nor speak due to Jinx's spell. But due to her attention being turned to Kurama, Morpheus had been for the moment safe, leaving him to think of a strategy to get out of his predicament. Unfortunately, Euthalia appeared on the scene, taking advantage of his paralysis and striking the titan down with three devastating dark lightning bolts, launching him far from the battle with each strike. Morpheus was in agony from the voltage surging through his body combined with the pain of the continued paralysis as he landed with a sickening thud on his face, the paralysis preventing him from bracing himself.

(I... can't believe... this... How... pa...thetic... Taken out... of...the fight... before...it even... start...ed...)

:: The combined pains were too much for the titan as he slipped into a state of unconsciousness... ::
 
OOC: calm down CJ, be calm, no need to get defensive, it is just a game, here let me help you
BIC:

"This wish is mine to cast,
a magic spell to make it last,
I close my eyes a little shiver,
this wish for me now please deliver."

Ignite this spell and make a wish....it will come true for you in battle. the higher the level....the more creative/deadly/inventive the wish may be.

Level 5 and 6: use your imagination...... but only level 6 may wish DEATH upon a foe.

I wish that Morpheus was restored to full power and unparylized. Let this spell even the field once again

:: Rama looks on as his own magick signature of smokey rose petals danced around Morpheus restoring the effects of the two spells cast on him ::

"Happy now?"
 
ooc: lol, Trent's right, it's just a game no need to get defensive.

BIC:

:: As the poisonous cloud appeared above her she immediately recognized the spell, it was one she used quite often. Euthaia began to break out in an uncontrollable coughing fit as the poison intoxicated her. She tried the best she could to breath regularly. And was relieved when the cloud dissapeared.((assuming that this spell would last as much as your level?)) She continued coughing a bit after it was gone and then regained most of her breath. ::

:: She glared at Drag menacingly, but decided to point this spell at another target. She turned to the earth elemental::

fire and flame from hell
in my hands you may dwell
to take control of your fire for a while
so i decide which creature'll die

this spell grants the caster a temporary influx of Pyrokinesis. igniting this spell allows the caster to blast their foe with concussive force flame blasts that cause severe 3rd degree burns and will knock the opponent down. Level 4 thru 6 may cast this spell and watch the magick of this spell INCINERATE their enemy utterly.

:: A mischevious smile crossed her lips waiting for the spell to take effect on Jinx. ::
 
::Jinx saw as Morpheus restored his consciousness... Jinx can still feel the pain and scrambled her way to a column, hoping to make it a shield from harm while she was still hurting..::
 
OOC - Im not defensive, I was just stating my opinion. I am perfectly calm, it wasn't like I was typing in a yelling-like font. I didn't ask for your help, Trent, as the attacks on me were fair and square, but I thank you anyway.

BIC - :: As Morpheus continued to lie face down, in his subconscious state he could smell rose petals all around him as energy began to slowly surge through his body. The titan opened his bluish green eyes to find that Kurama had restored him. Morpheus slowly got to his feet, loosening his joints making sure that he was able to move once again as he looked at the fiery-haired mutant... ::

"I know you didnt have to do that, but thanks, I owe you one..."

:: Still, Morpheus remained frustrated in not being able to unleash his true strength on the battlefield, he needed to calm himself. He closed his eyes, attempting to recall any spells he had learned from the Darkhold and deciding who he would strike first. Then he opened his eyes, now glaring at Euthalia who had earlier struck him down, it was payback time... ::

"Hey Euthalia, I heard you wanna 'rock' with me!!"
