whomever this is is spamming the general discussion thread. i'm not sure if it's another 'penny' person who just signs up to boards and spams things, but i wanted to get the both of your inputs about possibly banning them or what not?

Well, I don't really feel like they are spammers, because their first few posts were about other things (and not stuff like games), and there's no identifiable thing to link that contest back to the person. That's not to say it couldn't be someone from PG, though I think that's a pretty big company to be hiring people to spam message boards about it.
If they kept doing it, then maybe I would think they were just here to spam about a contest, but right now I think there's not enough evidence

alrighty, that's why i wanted to double check with you. i'll just keep an eye out on him/her.

how is it that i miss these threads LOL *sigh* lately, with as busy as i've been...ive missed alot though everywhere.
I saw the thread in moonlight lounge and thought it was peculiar seeing as Soyo had posted in other areas, as vil said. I'm still confused over how "bots" find their way onto message boards but Soyo seems like a real person. we havent had a terrible problem with spam YET but if we three keep an eye out, we can neutralize whatever comes.
on an unrelated note: Dorothy's service was this past friday. I dont think i updated either of you in a minute on her situation but she became brain dead on september 30th and after the hospital struggling with her insane kids about when to pull the plug her heart stopped on September 14th. So she's gone now and I am sort of relieved..not that she DIED but that she's FREE now and that her kids have no more power over her and NOW i can hit Freddy in the face with a brick (i hit his wife with a rock LOL) and not feel guilty!
