i have a large collection of comic posters featuring many of my favorite marvel characters through the years. many of them are considered to be "hard to find" now.
one of my favorites is the one where Rogue is wearing her green/black outfit (from 1988-89) and she's laying leisurely on the crescent moon in a starry night sky, popping bubbles in the air.
i had an Astonishing X-men poster but it was destroyed in the middle of commuting between my dorm and home and i haven't had time to replace it. To be honest i would purchase a commission from an big name artist if i had the cash to front for it
I got a few new sketch cards from the Topps Indiana Jones sets that just came out in the last few months, so I though I'd post them for your enjoyment. These come at a rate of one a box, sometimes less, and recently there have been utter crap sketches, like some of those you see on there. Still, I think that getting those really nice painted cards is worth it though. Oh, plus there are autograph cards in the boxes too, hence the two in the second picture.
Continuing to build my collection of Indiana Jones sketches, I am proud to announce that I just acquired a sketch card by none other than Adam Hughes!
I've been trying to get a Hughes sketch for years now, and every year at con, the prices for his regular sketches have gone up to $600 or more, and he's instituted a lottery process that makes it almost impossible to get on his sketch list. But thankfully, my hours of searching ebay have finally paid off, as this sketch was listed as being drawn by an unknown artist, so a card that would otherwise have cost me hundreds of dollars, only went for $60!
I also picked up other cards (including a nice Phoenix one, and a Mark Brooks Belloq) and will post them as they arrive. :xyxthumbs:
