Did anyone else see this movie adaptation of the video game? It received generally positive reviews but it wasnt as highly publicized as the Resident Evil film franchise.

Many creatures in the movie were definately loyal to the video game but it looked like there were some extras too.

I found the movie to be very engaging, a rare thing for a 'horror' film these days. one of my favorite parts was when Rose was inside a corridor and found herself confronted by a group of bizarre looking "nurses" who had no faces...they were lurching about, and were closing in on her with knives, scalples and other crude weapons. it took her great courage to weave her way through the group and finally escape.

Rose showed an incredible amount of courage throughout the film as she struggled to save her daughter, Sharon.

i absolutely hate both newhorror and video game adaptations, so when this girl i was dating brought it over i was like "dear god, kill me now!" so we start watching it and i'm like "ho hum" but then, it started getting scary as hell! junkyard mutants, awful siren, weird guys in miner suits, something horrid in a bathroom stall, huge monster, creepy fire kids and worst of all that nurse scene.

well anyway, before it was over [and i admit this to you all as a gesture from a newbie to his new board] i was like "this sucks, let's go to bed" but actually i was just terrified. really great movie! [yes i ended up finishing it in the light of day]
