So there is an article on Shannon Doherty in this month's Us. I haven't read it yet but in case my internet connection dies I thought I should post about it. The headline on the cover is "Finally, My Side". So I'm really looking forward to what she has to say about the whole 90210, Jennie Garth, Tori Spelling thing.

I hope she reveals that she beat Jennie Garth's ass more than once LOL! Like how it was revealed she pushed Alyssa Milano on the floor on the set of Charmed! I love Shannen because she is so UNAPOLOGETIC about being a "bad girl/bitch". :nod:

But seriously, I remember Brian Austin Green once saying that Jennie Garth was intimidated by Shannen because she was fierce and driven...funny because the same thing was said about Alyssa Milano (as far as being intimidated by Shannen and why)

well i have a copy of Us magazine which features Shannen. She has lost some weight but she looks good.

the interview is definately well done. I didnt even realize Shannen is from Tennessee .

She comes across as very serene. She acknowledges her "bad girl" image and admits some of it is fact but ALOT of it was fiction, excerpts from Aaron Spelling interviews dispell the rumour that Shannen was "fired" from 90210. He says "she did nothing wrong and had other projects she wanted to do. we were going into the 5th season and werent even sure we'd be picked up again"

other celebs were quoted on Shannen's talent, work ethic and the fact that she's a "no nonsense, no b/s woman"

She talks about her reprising the role of "Brenda Walsh" on 90210's "spinoff" and that Brenda has "grown up" and will not be the 'angst ridden' teen she was before.

and it turns out the REAL hater on Shannen as of late is Tori Spelling, not Jennie Garth. Shannen and Jennie never had a fist fight BUT Tori seems to have a BIG problem with Shannen as evidenced by excerpts from her own book in this article.

as for the issue of Shannen getting physical with Alyssa on Charmed? it wasnt addressed in this interview but I remember a few years ago where I had read that they had to have body guards on the set for Alyssa during season 3 because Shannen was always a SECOND away from whipping her ass and during a scene where they had to hug, as SOON as they yelled "cut", Shannen pushed Alyssa down to the floor. It was reported that Alyssa had felt fearfull and intimidated by Shannen, but no one...not even Shannen and Holly will directly talk about it.
