Senate Intelligence Report: CIA torture brutal, ineffective

----------------------

& we in America wonder why we are hated so much around the world. This is beyond shameful & we are no more safer today than we were then, but we now have ALOT MORE enemies & ppl who have been "radicalized" by our actions & policies.

I also read this & it was chilling to say the least. And there's this as well

We can hardly claim just cause to criticize other countries for their human rights abuses when we are guilty of our own, from torture, to racial injustice, we have some BIG PROBLEMS that need to be addressed.

Who will be made to answer for these crimes? I'd say pretty much the whole damn [George W.] Bush cabinet for a start. But even then, the report mentions that Colin Powell was kept in the dark about some of the CIA's plans & actions regarding "enhanced techniques" b/c it was said that he'd "blow his stack" if he knew.
