Rules and Reg, General GAME questions

I have a question... Please answer... We all know of a valkyrie's power of 'dominion over men' Basically, it allows a valkyrie to have control over any men in the battle field. Nice little Jules had absorbed Kevin's emphatic powers, and then use it to channel a valkyrie's 'dominion over men' to use it against me. However, i happen to be miles above in mid air, so high that i can only see little figures of the people below. At such distances, would it be credible for me not to respond to this dominion over men since i can't even see Jules properly, it would really be silly to enticed by her and suddenly fly miles down just to kneel in front of her. Jules argued that this power was a level 1 power, and as a level 5, she should be able to dominate ANY men regardless of where i am. However, i refuse to accept that, since that would seem more like mind control to me then some crap dominion over men... I just find it incredulous that just because her powers allow her to dominate men, i have to be so controled as to fly miles down just to kneel infront of her... This dominon over men thing should be more like an enticing and entrancement power rather then a telepathic mind control power... And there should be no way one can be entranced by someone else whom he can't even see properly.

So, please tell me if this dominion over men thing used by Jules channeling someone elses power whould work on me when i'm miles in the air.
 
I don't know if this should go here, but I don't see any other place where it should fit.

I bought a Phoenix Down from the Item Shop. Now, it says that it only recovers a character from KO, however I've seen GoLs use it to heal their not-so-serious wounds. Would I be allowed to use it for the same use or are the GoLs just not using it properly?
