Leaders/Staff from BOTH sides need to be able to communicate smoothly with each other..


the winds of change are blowing and i suspect that AHBL is about to become a much more active place than it has been in the past.......the staff of GoW MUST be present and active. involved with members and helping their respective covens in AHBL.

I want ALL active staff to check in with a post in this thread..and tell me how you are feeling ab out this game...express any concerns you may have and bring up anything that we should discuss.

a TIMELY response is REQUIRED by ALL STAFF ...thank you.
 
I think that it is good to see more GoL's within the AHBL, and hopefully with the new changes we have planned there will be more.

However i think perhaps there should be some sort of thread here where we can discuss questionable posts within the AHBL from members of both sides. I saw the current discussion within a certain fight thread and spoke to will about it, however i think it would be good if there was a place where the leaders could discuss posts that were either questionable or hard to understand so that we could see both sides.

If that makes any sense.

i personally feel like WhiteStar went in to shake things up and thats what he did.......admitedly.....the MoE were not expecting to see a GoL who would be capable of causing such a stir. My personal feeling on this matter is that WhiteStar simply cought some people unaware with his skill and array of powers. HOWEVER......NO ONE is invincible....and i think the MoL should make sure their members know that........because the leaders of MoE stress that in EVERY meeting.

i have dealt with the matter as objectively as i could in order to be fair for both sides......but lets face it...while the FINAL WORD may be handed down by me in extreme matters.......the Dire Wraiths/Evil Incarnate and the Masters/Mistresses of Light should make it a point to be monitoring AHBL.......with increated activity from the members of both covens there should b e increased representation of the leaders. Obviously the Dire Wraiths have had no problem with this.....but lets be real.....the MoL have been SCARCE at best.

I have appointed several new mods over AHBL to assist Titania. two from Moe and Two from GoL. i expect those that were appointed to make sure they prove they DESERVE this apointment by helping to preserve "order", settling disuptes in a fair, respectful and timely manner and making sure AHBL stays uncluttered.

matters in AHBL that need to be discussed can be brought up HERE in this thread....and we can all work together to resolve them....but it requires ALL OF US to be effectively done.
 
Personally, the idea of more GoL participation excites me... I see so many MoE posts that are saying "hey, don't forget me.... i'm still rotting in this thread" Lol.... and I've made a few post like that myself.. in not so many fancy words ;)... if Whitestar was recruited to shock the hell out of some of us who firmly believed MoE would darken the corridors of AHBL for all eternity.... lets just say he's proving himself highly worthy of the task... ;)

I would like to see more MoL fighting in AHBL... it provides the higher and even brave lower levels [like i once was] with a formidable challenge... even we prominent senoir members of M.o.E. get tired of mopping the floor with unequipped lower level GoLs... there's only so many level ones and twos that a girl can kill before she craves some one of POWER...

I agree the the leaders of both sides should have a thread where we can discuss questionable fighting posts and whatnot... and where we can expect TIMELY responses. The times when three or four days went in between posts in the Hollows Crypt need to end... for the sake of our sanity and so that fights with calls where both sides have input aren't on pause for too long.
 
Definately glad for more GOL activity, and hope things improve as time goes on, but i think there's a lot to be done personally within GOL..till i'm satisfied with it at least, lol...as the coven gets brought up a bit, then it'll improve all around..more representation in GOW from both covens is really good.

As far as the ideas go with a place to discuss disputes in AHBL, i definately have to agree to that. MOL activity in the battles is something that should increase, for sure, but i can speak only for myself personally that as much as i would love to be in there more, more pressing internal matters are taking the time and attention away from there, for now, and i think the other MOL's would be able to agree on that. We are working hard as hell on getting our matters straight, so it hopefully won't be too long before we're more active in there.
 
The only problem that I have ever had with the GoL is the lack of focus on RP and the more focus on leveling to catch up with the Masters of Evil..

I mean sure we can promote members all we want but if they can't back it up with the RP skills.. it is almost a waste ya know? I would suggest something like we do in Masters of Evil like the Inferno Storyline or Dark Phantasy in which we are thrust into a RP adventure type storyline that not only tests our RP skills but our skill level in general.. Dark Phantasy helped me ALOT in MoE.. and without it I wouldn't be the same!

I do wish GoL was more active in the AHBL forums and not just in Blaze, and it somewhat concerns me that they can post so eloquently in Blaze but when they are put in the fighting forums their posts are such as follows:

^^ I mean it is almost like SPAM.. I think maybe if the MoLs were there to show them how it is done they will get excited ;) GLAAD the Intercoven Quest is coming up ;)

Those are just my general concerns and comments!
 
Thanks for the suggestions, it's been a long while since we had something like that..might start it up again..Tash and I have been fighting in GOL however to show what we want to see, and trying to build up the skills within before sending them out. And yea..some of that stuff highly annoys me :: grumbles :: ANYWAYS! LOL :p might have to take some advice on the storyline thing and setting up the whole RP adventure correctly.
 
Yeah the RP thing might be a good idea ;) It was loads of fun by the way!

I dont have any complaints about GoL! I like how it is, just needs that extra spice you know? Just more leader activity and some more interesting species and amulets, etc. ;)

The Intercoven Quest I KNOW will bring more intrigue to the game ;) We might have some fun in there and members should be really excited to see it..

Personally I think everything is falling together :)
 
I think it's great to see more GoL's getting active in AHBL :)

I haven't been around much for obvious reasons ;) and I'm still not up and running as before I won't be probably since Fleur is keeping me rather busy (which I don't mind at all).

I myself am really looking forward to the inter coven quest, I think it will be a really good experience for both covens and a nice chance to work together instead of against eachother.

this player is starting to anger me. his movements are ALWAYS dramatic.....barely logical and rather other the top. he was a level one the first time i saw him (when he faced Titania and Myself in streets of rage) and he bailed right before we were about to kill him. NOW after months of no action from him in AHBL .....he is suddenly back in a big way........performing movements that he cant even properly describe, ignoring attacks, and causing confusion that isnt needed.

he is a member of the GoL and i STRONGLY suggest that the MoL do something about him NOW!


i also would like to know what exactly a storm warden is? what is the basic nature of their abilities . from the SOUND of the name..i would venture to say that they have elemental based powers? but even if im wrong, how is it that a storm warden at level four could EXPELL someone's soul via astral projection? first of all.....astral projection is NOT the way to accomplish that maneuver, that sort of attack is NOT POSSIBLE through psychic means........a soul/spirit can only be at best POSSESED by a psychic of power on par with Phoenix or Professor X. only a practicioner of magick on par with Darkchilde, Doctor Strange and the like could even be capable of such a powerful attack.....NOT a level 4 GoL of ANY character type. in regards to this game....only certain character types rooted in powerful magick and gypsies --(because of their curse/black magick--among other character types) would be capable of pulling off such a feat and ONLY at level 8 or above.


my concern is that with the sudden influx of promotions....that the WRONG people are getting them , and that these people are getting power trippy with their attacks.

what do you MoL say about this?
 
The soul thing was a screw up on his end, and his actions.

A storm warden has elemental powers from 1-5, then level 6 has psionic control. As far as Joaquin goes, when I became MOL, he was made a level 3. That was a decision that i don't know about, as i was not an MOL at the time. Now, i can speak for him being promoted to level 4. That was my doing based of his performance in training, the last time on this training system, compared to what else we had. At the time, he did good. If it was a lapse, an occasional thing, i don't know. As for him now, one solution has been to with the new system that's being set up, more training possibilities,and much more strict training is being implemented, and he's gonna be pulled over to the side. That's just one idea so far, and hopefully it'll be soon if everything goes as smoothly as it has been so far between myself and tash setting up and planning the new GOL, with help from WhiteStar. Or, as it's been going on for a while, and things have been said, heck..i just posted again in reference to your post in Warlands in GOL about it..you can always just take your soul sword and go wacky-wacky on the guy. That option is up to you. I've tried working with him, as i will try again, but if it's too much, and it's decided that it's just a problem, then there's no point in keeping a problem around. Honestly, i think he got a bit zealous and eager to please, and a bit too excited with the whole thing considering a few things going on in GOL, and the sudden influx of them actually having morale concerning GOL and the game itself, getting out of the mindset that if you're GOL and you go into AHBL, you just get killed by MOE, they're bigger with more stuff, blah, blah, blah, and that's how it goes. They're seeing things are changing and wanting to do stuff in the coven and AHBL, the mindset i talked about is changing. Bottom line there, is that they weren't really having fun with the whole thing, and now they're starting to. Like i said..that might have gotten him a bit too worked up, and he seems to be trying a bit too hard now, and getting carried away.

As far as the wrong people being promoted, besides people being promoted from trainee to level 1, and 5 other people to level 2 (3 of them), one of those to level 4, and jules to level 5, there have been no other promotions. Joaquin may have turned out to be a bad pick, picked only due to what was there to work with maybe, or as stated above, a little bit too gung-ho and trying to hard now, but the others are worth the level their at, and may have one or two issues to work out which is being dealt with.

This is no sudden influx of promotions, as it is simply members finally getting out to AHBL in the battle threads, training more, being held more accountable for knowing what they're doing, beginning to get more guidance then they have been before, etc.

I am working on solutions to deal with Joaquin, and rectify this problem.
 
I believe that he is probably a little too excited with everything - with the new additions to GoL and also with the influx of members to the AHBL - and i agree he did go to far.

However i also think that it is a very fine line that we have here - because if the MoL's say too much we are left with members who don't go into the AHBL at all for fear that we are going to say something.

We have tried to get our active members in there, and its tough for us, because honestly we probably wouldn't have more than 6 really active GoL's.

Plus we are trying our hardest to fix up the problems within GoL and talk to the members about their concerns. But i'll talk to will about Joaquin and see what happens...

You would have to have turned to stop me, leaving yourself vulnerable to attacks by Sati, deflect my magick, then turn back and finish your attack on Sati which would be very stupid because she would be able to easily defend against you while you had your attention set on me. And how did you know what powers i'd be using?

in order for ME to better understand this...id need to see what happened in the AHBL. what thread did it occurr in? or could someone give us a synopsis of it? looks like Angelus and Jules were having a disagreement that turned ugly......at the very LEAST...they are doing it via PM so as not to clutter ahbl.


and Tash, trust me...i KNOW you and will are working hard....which is why i sent WhiteStar to help out. there has been a noticed changed but the GoL have GOT to stop thinking that the AHBL isnt a HIGH RISK battle zone. not only that..but there are rules to follow....that apply to EVERYONE. the MoE understand this and when I or another DW, EI or trainer corrects them on errors.....the understand the correction and dont take it personally. it seems like the GoL are just a tad over sensitive. the LEADERS are doing all they can....but the members have to make an effort too.....
 
ok..start reading in Warlands, where it all took place. there is one mention in i believe pain and paradise, or streets of rage to her by titania..it started with the fight between sati and jules, which was going alright..then angelus appeared in the thread with her action. Sati was already going to debate Jules's action, and that was just there to add to it. then angelus put in her input, and a comment or two that could have been refrained from, and then Jules immediately PM'ed her after reading that as to not have it in the thread, and to discuss it there, which you can now see for yourself through the PM's what happened.
 
speaking of Sati, Will......it appears to me that you publicly deminished her abilities......she is a level 5 metamorph, a dark mastrix and a well respected, experienced memeber of MoE.

her character type, is ALL about fluent physicality, speed, hard hitting attacks and tactical savvy.


her character type moves with the fluency of mercury, she has excellent dexterity. she is patterned after mystique from the x-men movies/comics.

she has the right to question the validity of moves....if they appear to be shakey.... if things CANT be resolved quickly...then she knows to contact a DW, EI or even a MoL if necessary (if its in regards to the actions of a GoL.
 
I wasn't speaking in regards to her. i don't question her or demish her. if it somehow came out that way, then i'm sorry, but that was not meant at all. Heck. What i was telling Jules was about her speed, etc. the main issue was not with her. I probaly should have kept a line i had in there saying that i trusted her actions to be fair and legit along with Jules, and that i was sure that it would be able to continue without a problem.

Again, i guess it wasn't worded right, but there was no intent in that whatsoever to diminish her.
 
ive never seen Jules conduct herself in a questionable manner in AHBL, although she too ran from Titania and myself with her tail between her legs back in the first "episodes" of Streets of Rage.

i was worried that perhaps you might have implied that Sati didnt have the chops to try to out maneuver an attack.....and in some cases...no matter how fast a person can be, they WONT be able to dodge or get out of a situation.


i guess i just dont want the leaders publicly dissing each other unless its "in character" in battle. If i misread your post, then i apologize.....but that just goes to show that we should all try to be careful how we word things.

I'd really, at this point, like someone to tell me HOW in the WORLD we are supposed to have PHYSICAL fight thread if leaders are approving use of magickal items left and right? it MUST discontinue... I can't even regulate the Streets of Rage thread... it's a bloody mess. I go in there the other evening... a minor glitch, as some have gotten over excited and begun to use magick... I correct it and send them on with their battles... yet STILL i have people using magick and saying its' been approved... like I didn't just sit there and post what they could and couldn't do.

well i just fined an MoE for using Phoenix Down to heal himself in SoR... and he comes back with a 'well imaginary said it was ok'

Who approved that?

I know DC approved Drag's use of the Crystal Dragon athame... but now he's so dependant on it because its the only thing that gives him a leg up... this is just silly. a physical thread... should STAY physical. I can't regulate ANYTHING if the members can just go get stuff approved.

We need leaders to oversee threads from the beginning, to catch everything. I'm keeping the physical thread under control as best i can... but I'd REALLY appreciate it if no more magick was approved. makes things MUCH less complicated for me.

BUT your right... this has to stop. i did NOT intend to cause a commotion with that ....because i didnt know he wanted to use it in THAT thread of all places.

NO items of magick, or POWER of any kind shall be used in Streets of Rage. ......if THAT were the case, My armour would have manifested during my fight with Elrica in that thread (who i am STILL convinced was using a kind of kinetic power in our battle based on the way she defined it).

Its time to just put a stop to ALL of that.....right now and I will do it.

ALSO, it has come to my attention that Drag might actually be a spy. in which case Tru Davies and are about to do some IP checks A.S.A.P and find out. if he is.......hes being banned from MoE AND GoL ( i know what GoL account he would be under)
