Rosie has a new home at Harpo!

When Rosie O'Donnell makes her return to daytime television this fall, her surroundings will look somewhat familiar. For her new talk show on The Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN), O'Donnell will take up residence in the same Harpo Studios location where Winfrey broadcast her own show for the last 25 years.

It's going to be very interesting to see what kind of impact OWN has. And I've always liked Rosie as a talk show host. It'll be nice to see her back on the air. :xyxthumbs: Will she go after Ellen in the ratings??

No one is beating Ellen in the ratings isn't she like the #1 (daytime) talk show host today?

SO was Oprah. And remember, Rosie briefly overtook Oprah for the #1 daytime talk show spot on her original talk show in the mid to late 90s, just as Ellen has now surpassed Oprah.

I was thinking about how both Rosie and Ellen are openly gay and wondering how that might play out as their shows are bound to draw comparisons etc.
