Reverend Jeremiah Wright

Thats a bit much man, hes opinionated and has some deep points. Hes not in anyway trying to destroy Obama's campaign thats Hillary's job. :p
 
True, but of all the times to come out, he basically did a clown dance in front of the national press corps yesterday and mocked Obama, calling him just another politician. All this after Obama defended the guy, and basically disowned his comment without throwing him under the bus. For Wright to come out like he did right before the crucial contests in Indiana and North Carolina is just self-serving. Hell, he even promoted his forthcoming book yesterday! Now Obama is fighting a three front war, one against Hillary, one against McCain, and one against Wright. No wonder he's getting clobbered.
 
i think OTHER people are USING HIM as a tactic to derail Barack Obama more than he himself is out to do it.

for one thing, I think alot of people (especially white people who'd like to say racism is no longer an issue in this country- and yes, i'm white but i'm not nearly that naive) are upset because he speaks what's in the hearts and minds of ALOT of black people, especially those form the civil rights generation and beyond.

there's ALOT of anger, there's ALOT of cynicism and its not like its hard to guess WHY.

its the media and other groups of people who are backing Barack into a corner, forcing him to give an account for this man who hasnt even been his pastor for some time now. That's the way it always goes in election season...find anything, anyone you can and use it AGAINST the candidate.

personally, i'm not a fan of christianity and so I could care less what Wright does from his pulpit.
