I've been searching around BB and can't get over how great it's put together. :) Which made me remember being on another board that was very well put together that had a feature that I thought would be great for SG, but completely forgot to mention it to you guys.

It's similar to the feature that Vil used to use in her RPG that was run on here. Basically on the rest of the board, my username would be Samantha [for example] and I would have a barbie avatar and cupcake banners. Then once I enter the six RPG form, my information turns into Persephone, with my AJ av and banner. So throughout the rest of the board you can express yourself and your likes without having to keep your RPG persona, and then once in the six forum, you have all of your characters info just as it now.

It's just an idea. But I thought it would be cool....because sometimes I know I would love to sport a different banner that doesn't have AJ on it, or maybe a different username for shits and giggles. And of course, this would only be available for the people within the six.

Just a thought. :)
 
Well, if it's just for Six people, maybe it's easier to just have a second user account?

But I can do that for the Six if you guys want, not a problem.

this could have been extremely usefull for ME on CB when those idiots couldnt seem to tell the difference between Darkchilde and Farrah LOL :haha:

I like the idea, i think its cute. and yes, I agree, BB is VERY well put together.

Most of us have several dummy accounts attached to our main name and I think it would be nice to see something OTHER than our "Six" profile around the board.

Let's try it out! But only for the players of the Six.
 
I can either make the avatar be your profile picture in the Six, or it can be seperate. But if it's seperate people will have to upload the file to the internet and then enter the link in their profile.

so the one i have now, is the one that appears when we go into the six forum? and then outside the forum it would be something else? (just making sure i understand)
 
I was just asking if you had a preference on whether people could just upload the pic through the board (as their profile picture in the usercp) or if you want the avatar to be a totally seperate picture, which would require the avatar be uploaded to the internet first.
 
I did the profile pic on BB, but it can sort of be annoying.

I'm trying to get it to let me use IMG code in the second signature...
 
Also (sorry) if you look at my post in the RPGer Questin thread I made in the Six, you can see where we are so far. If there's any of the other information you want to hide or if you want seperate usertitles too let me know.

Okay - you want me to fix everyone's for them? And do you want anything else removed from Six posts? Like the green gems and location and all that? And do you want me to add a seperate usertitle?
 
i think leave the green gems (those are the things for rep right?) since most of us got them from our posts in the six.

yes ,lets have seperate user titles. and yes, lets remove location since that really doesnt matter in the six, please.

Okay, as I was loading everyone's in, I came upon a question. Is it a problem that for all our secondary accounts, we'll have to load in the same information in their profiles as well?

I think I can do it so it's just us, but it will be more complicated.
