puella magi madoka magica

[Karma]

a.k.a. modcka magica

They're a darker version of "Sailor Moon"/"Sailor Senshi" & I love them! Anyone else watch/familiar w/ them??

[Black King]

this series, so dark and twisted and perfect. For something so pink and sparkly (when you first see it) I wasn't ready for the sheer amount of depression this series could bring (watching the whole thing over a few days didn't help). It reminds me of bit of Evangelion (in a good way) but it has its own style and manages to both deconstruct and reconstruct the magical girl anime tropes.

.....if you can't tell from the gushing i like this show

now THIS surprises me b/c when I asked if there were any other fans of the "magickal girl" genre of anime on the board, I recall you saying you were NOT interested in it

this one here is very beautiful & yes it is dark & twisted. I love it myself!

[Black King]

hahahaha I'm a man of surprises and multiple facets

[SiD]

Is it an ongoing show?

Looks interesting, i think i might give it a go

Currently only watching Attack on Titan, and i just caught up on the episodes.

The horror of waiting for yet a new episode begins *wails*

[Black King]

its a 26 episode run but I warn for its dark, depressing and really beautifully made

Attack on Titan is another great series but i only read the manga
