Possible New Player?

in the past, i had perspective players do a short trial play thread yes. :nod: or submit a character bio that would fit into The Six mold for review & discussion between myself & them.
 
I think his main concerns right now are that he's not at your level with the writing and also I think he's worried he doesn't have enough comics knowledge because he hasn't been keeping up with things recently. He asked me if he should start boning up lol - and I told him hell no lol

I'm sure he will do fine. I only had Charmed to go off of when I first started, then I just learned as I went. If he's a fan of Buffy or other sci fi related things, he'll be good to go. :) Just have him pm us if he's having troubles putting a character together or has any questions.

Also, I went on facebook just now and I saw a recent feed update from Lexi. She didn't post anything, just a status that automatically appears when you become friends with someone on the site. So it's good to see she's around, I just wish she would stop by the site and let us know she's okay.

& w/ lexi...is it possible she's upset w/ me or other players in the game? I cant imagine WHY but i can't help but reflect back on other times/similar board situations when some ppl bailed out on me. lexi & i have been cool for years now. there's never been any issue but while I was in Detroit in June...did anything happen on the board?

if i could remember my fb password, i'd log on there & reach out to her myself.
 
Honestly, when you were away in Detroit, the board became a ghost town. There would be some posting in the shoutbox and a couple new threads, but nothing else really. I don't think we did anything, because you know Lexi would call us out on that lol. She doesn't run away from stuff.
 
Yeah, I don't see Lexi as the type to just leave like that. I just messaged her on FB so we'll see if she responds. I know work was taking up a lot of her time before, so I bet she just got buried in it.

well, now that we know Lexi IS okay & just busy & unable to return for the time being, i have to decide what to do going forward. The Six is "the four" lol & while i can do multiple characters, nothing beats the input of other players combined.

im guessing your guy is not that interested, vil?
 
Well he was thinking about it, last I heard. I told him that if he decided he wanted to try it out, to send you a pm. I didn't want him to feel forced, but I can ask him about it if you like?

The one girl who was our RPG person forever just proved to be totally unreliable, so that's out.

It's sort of like I know reliable people, but I have no idea if they're writers.

And BB seems like a waste of humanity anyway lol. Other than OM, BEG seems the best choice but I'm not sure about his writing. This girl is like my right hand gal on there, but this is all the writing I have on record from her: Chosen Rewritten: “The Chronicles of Cheese” - Buffy-Boards

Well we have some time to try and find people since we're doing a non cannon storyline. Hopefully by the time we end this, Lexi will have decided to come back, and maybe we will have found at least one other player to join.
 
yeah its not like we have someone's deadline to answer to :) i'm thinking after this non canon story, we'll do the one w/ Delilah & the "birds of prey" twist. im looking through right now, vil.
