I'm on another forum where they all choose something to read each month and then discuss it.

Could we maybe choose a back storyline of The Six and we could discuss it?
 
For everyone. But since it would probably interest the Six members, we'd always have people to be discussing and that would bring others in. The problem in doing something like a tv show or movie or book, is that everyone on the board would have to be convinced to actually watch or read that. I think using the old Six storylines gives us a better chance of discussion lol
 
its funny because i used to have in depth discussions with a few members on the board who were following the six but it was always via pm. Mat, Arkaine, Oblivion and a couple others. but they're all gone now.

I do like the idea. I wish we had more people beside us on this board who liked to READ AND DISCUSS anything in general.
 
I just think nobody in general wants to read anything muchless offer a reply these days.

and WE (the staff and also the long standing members here) can only do so much.

I feel we should participate around the board but inspite of that, changing the board around etc...we can't force others to participate or capture new members <<sigh>>. its their loss though, not ours. we have a great place here and anyboard is only as good as the member makes it with their partiicpation.
 
Agreed. :)

It might be interesting even just for us, though, to see how people look back on those stories now, and how they would do things differently now. *shrugs*
 
Okay, where would you like to start? We could always go from the beginning? Then jump around later if we want? Or something else? Doesn't matter to me :)

I am most definitely down in starting from the beginning.. I mean I randomly read old threads all the time lol.
 
I'll put the discussion threads in a separate forum under the Actor's Studio so it's on the main page and prominent, unless anyone objects.
 
Do we want to do this monthly or maybe weekly instead? Or we could read one week then discuss a week, then read a week then discuss and so on?
 
I would say weekly. They aren't TOO hard to get through. This will be really good for newer members of the Six AND perspective players.
 
Also, how should we break this up. Like should we do the first week as the events leading up to the Citadel (basically the first 4 threads of the Six) and then the next time do The Citadel itself? Or do ALL of the Citadel together?
 
Hmmm. Maybe depending on how long the caper is? Some are a LOT longer than others, so maybe break it up for this one? That might keep conversation going rather than reading the whole thing at once.
 
That's what I was thinking - the first week can be like, "getting to know the characters" and then the next week is the first big battle.
