Outsourcing sucks. I can't find ANYTHING about it that's beneficial...unless of course you're the company raking in billions of dollars in profits and tax breaks for sending jobs overseas to India, China etc.
What do any of you think about it? Has it effected you personally?
Ive noticed article after article about how "china and india are rising world powers" or "their economy is booming"...gee i wonder why. could it be because ALL OUR DAMN JOBS are now over there?
I think its a really sad state of affairs that companies (that were already making lots of money before) want to find ways to make MORE money even at the expense of hard working people. and on the other side, when you or i have to call in for "service" issues with our phones, credit cards or even to make a rental car reseveration (if you do it by phone rather than online) you will almost CERTAINLY get connected to a call center over in india somewhere with a person that has a thick accent, speaking words you can barely understand and clearly reading from a script at every turn in the conversation. THAT makes the "customer service" aspect go down the tubes.
How far is it going to go? and what are the long term impacts of it so far?
