Not recalling much after being punched in the face by the Silver Swan, Ava woke up slumped against the wall with Karen kneeling next to her. Everything was a little fuzzy....but she felt pretty damn good. Then it dawned on her that she was probably hurt enough that Karen had to heal her.

"Thanks."

Remaining propped up against the wall, Ava's eyes were drawn to Silver Swan and Rampage as they fought. Both were knocked out cold and Morgan healed Sharon to the best of her ability. Nicolas recovered on his own due to his own healing abilities, which was pretty impressive considering the fight she just witnessed.

Pushing herself up from the floor, the auto destruct sequence's countdown echoed loudly in the control room. They didn't have much time.

"We really need to get out of here!"

Going over to Alison's side, she helped Cameron assist his sister to her feet.
 
time to escape!

<< as everyone managed to regain themselves and recover, the immediate danger of the Silver Swan had been neutralized, everyone healed or conscious and ready to carry on as best they could, with 15 minutes LEFT.>>

<< they gathered together and moved back out toward the more open area of the boiler room which was now filled with the sound of a blarring red alert siren which only ADDED to the urgency of the situation.>>

<< the area was filled with a pulsating RED light that pulsed in time with the terrifying siren.>>

<< surprisingly as they reached the platform, no creatures were lurking about. and there was no sign of the woman in white either. however she escaped, it was unknown and now it didnt matter much.>>

<< on the platform, Sharon was placed to rest and Karen quickly entered one last command code...as the platform shifted and the ceiling above them surprisingly OPENED to reveal a dark, dimly light , LARGE "shaft". the large platform had plenty of room for everyone and more. and as it began to activate and lift...they saw that an "easy way out" was not going to be possible.>>

<< as Morgan pointed back behind them and exclaimed, they saw...an ENORMOUS creature...as it slides into view, apparently having RAN from where it previously was. even from as far back as it is NOW, it shows signs of extreme rage and agression and HUNTING as it roars and begins SPRINTING toward them. Running with ALARMING speed, the creature is 10 ft tall, stronger than EVERYONE in the group and is rivaled only by SHARON in its level of invulnerability!>>
 
the escape!

<< moving along with the others, Morgan kept Blaze and her mother close at hand. Karen moved ahead with Haleigh to get the platform going and Morgan helped make sure everyone was present and accounted for.>>

Delilah: wait....do you hear that?

WHAT!?

<< Morgan yelled...>>

who can hear anything ELSE over the steam and the SIREN?

<< Morgan looked, as did Blaze, behind them.>>

<< GASP!>>

<< from the distance they saw a creature...humanoid but hulking in form slide into view in a three point stance before standing up and roaring.>>

what is THAT!?

Blaze: one of the men you turned down for a date!? how should WE know!?

<< Morgan glares at Blaze.>>

Oh NEVER MIND! HERE IT COMES!

<< it begins CHARGING at ALARMING speed and stride for them.>>

Mom....HURRY!!!! it's COMING!

<< Morgan, Blaze, Ava and Alison were ALL expressing their distress. Even Delilah and Mike were taken aback as this GIANT creature was now coming for them with savage instinct.>>


<< the platform lifts up...gaining more distance from the ground, and finally getting some speed. the creature stops at the launch point and looks up, and then JUMPS, leaping impossibly high and CATCHING HOLD of the underside of the platform causing it to shudder and shake! its massive bone claws PUNCH through the the platform as Morgan snatches Blaze from being impaled.>>

OhmiGAWD!

<< Morgan exclaims!>>

<< finally the creature BUSTS up and climbs onto the platform and is now towering over them ALL, breathing heavily and growling. the platform is now moving faster up the shaft but they have a long ways to go.>>
 
escape from the nightmare

:: Alison, who had been recovered, was now with her brother and Ava was by her side.::

The woman's power is immense. were it not for my mind being closed to telepaths...i dont think I would have survived....

:: Alison's pride was wounded beyond any magickal way of healing. it WAS the first time she had been truly taken down by an opponent. Silver Swan couldnt touch her, she was sure of that, and apparently Diana knew that too, thats why the woman struck her down but now was not the time to dwell on that. They had to leave...they had only 15 minutes and only a little more than THAT to flee the area of Raccoon City!::

:: the group once again makes it way and as they do not encounter any creatures, Alison says...::

I don't have to be a precog to tell you that the last moments of any nightmare are usually the worst.

:: the siren alarm blared loudly, underscoring the emergency and how uncertain things were. and soon...::

:: the creature appears, and Alison says with a scathing tone..::

you wanted ALL of your family, Nicolas? well you asked for it...and now you've GOT IT!

:: referring to Sharon and now his brother KYLE. the precog apparently saw the time threads surrounding this creature and knew exactly who it was...or who it USED to be.::

:: the creature manages to get ahold of their platform and BUSTS through...now confronting them.::

WATCH OUT!

:: extending her hands forward, she manifests a FORCE FIELD to DEFLECT his deadly pass whis massive , bone clawed hand, the force of the blow is seen against the forcefield::

it is beyond anything PHYSICAL we've seen thus far! its strength, speed, invulnerability are among its abilities but if it scratches you or breaks the skin...you'll be infected with the virus!

there's no escaping it! we're going to have to fight it....and DESTROY IT!

The self destruct siren was blaring loud, which only became worse as they entered the boiler room. Wincing a bit as she helped Cameron move Alison past one of the speakers secured on the wall, everyone soon made their way to a platform which would hopefully lead them to safety.

Morgan: what is THAT!?

Turning to look over her shoulder, Ava's eyes widdened seeing the gigantic beast that slid into view.

"Holy shit..."

The creature started sprinting toward the lift with incredible speed. Ava's mouth dropped open in fear and shock as it made it's way closer.

"Can't this thing go any FASTER?!?!"

Suddenly, the platform rumbled beneath her feet as Kyle's hand came crashing through the metal. Screaming, she tried to move back as best she could to get away from him. As he managed to climb on top of the platform....he was now only feet away from the entire group.

Screaming again as Kyle swiped at the group, Alison quickly manifested a force field protecting them from the hit.

Alison: there's no escaping it! we're going to have to fight it....and DESTROY IT!

"WHAT?! How are we supposed to do THAT?!"

In complete freak out mode, this thing was supposedly stronger, faster, and more durable than anyone or anything they had ever come in contact with....and they were supposed to fight it on a small platform while being lifted in a shaft! But there was no time to think....they had to react--SHE had to react. Extending her hands out, an powerful updraft of wind came rushing around the shaft and surrounded Kyle. Dropping the temperature to levels rivaling the top of Mount Everest, the winds encircled Kyle, FREEZING his body instantly into ice.

<< Morgan bellowed as the creature attacked and Morgan screamed as she quickly moved Blaze behind her, reflexively counting on HALEIGH to keep Karen safe, as she was several feet away from Morgan's reach.>>

<< Alison BLOCKS the creature with her magick and Ava FREEZES it with an impressive gust of arcitic wind!>>

<< Morgan is tense...and looks utterly horrified. >>

<< the ice begins to CRACK in various places.>>

Before its...TOO LATE!

<< it IS. the creature BUSTS out of the ice...and roars...as it runs forward, pulling one of its MASSIVE arms and clawed hands back to strike down Morgan herself! the witch's eyes WIDDEN with utter disbelief.>>

Blaze: MORGAN!!!

NO!! GET AWAY!

<< she trusts her hands forward.>>

<< she lashes out with a massive ELDRITCH BOLT! the blast of dark magick gleams and sparkles as it SLAMS into the creature's chest...causing it to stagger for a moment and roar but it isnt knocked down ...it SHOULDVE been blasted clear away but its NOT! it pushes BACK against the blast! its invulnerability is staggering! >>

Blaze: it's....STILL COMING!!

<< Morgan grits her teeth.>>

Thank god Karen’s plan had worked and they were finally on their way out of this place. The platform began to rise, alarm still ringing and lights flashing. She watched the newcomers with curiosity as Nicolas tended to his mother. Who had just tried to kill them all.

It seemed to the group as if they had encountered the worst that this horrible place had to offer, but they were so wrong. They were being pursued – by a huge monstrosity. They thought they would be safe on the platform – but clearly their luck had run out. For it was suddenly towering before them, and for a second, none of them knew what to do about it.

Then Alison and Ava snapped into action, shielding them and freezing the creature where it stood. This thing that was Nicolas’ brother. She was now even more certain that Morgan should have gone already with the others. Here they were, about to die, all of them, and for what?

The ice was already cracking, and the creature quickly broke free and attacked Morgan. Luckily the witch could take care of herself, blasting the monster backwards.

Delilah decided she’d had enough of the blinking emergency lights AND this genetic cess pool giant. She threw her hands straight up into the air, and the others would see the lights stop flashing as she absorbed them into herself. She then drew her arms back in and THRUST them outwards from herself. A focused sonic ultrasound beam hit the creature, something that would liquefy a normal human brain. Concurrently, she sent a high energy sound frequency directed at the creature’s eyes, which would cause its eyeballs to vibrate and thus distort its vision. She hoped this would at least somewhat blind and disorient the monster.
 
Karen knew more about the Silver Swan and how to save her, and quickly relays the history of the woman and the project she became, as well as how to neutralize her as the tightly wrapped chains lost their hold over Sharon. Delilah blasted Sharon, attempting to slow her down. Haleigh backed Nicolas as he prepared to face his mother. Karen bound her with mystical chains to hold her in place while they removed the implant.

I know it will be hard to hurt her…. But you will have to hurt her to save her, Nicolas.

He nodded and stepped forth, pulling at her armor, and Haleigh mentally helped his physical effort with her own control over metal. It was then that Sharon began to scream… a sound unlike ANYTHING Haleigh had ever heard before. She quickly clamps her hands over her ears but the effort is futile. She manifests a pair of headphones with active noise reduction technology…. And that serves to make the sound bearable.

Nicolas: AARRGH! Save YOURSELVES!! Take the others and go. It is too late for us...never forget me.

Don't be ridiculous, I'm NOT leaving you!

She contended as he pushed her away and shielded her with his body, assuming the full brunt of the sonic attack. The sound made Haleigh's very bones vibrate uncomfortably but she didn't back down. A second later the sound stopped and Nicolas fell back towards Haleigh, badly injured and unconscious. Haleigh deftly caught him, more than strong enough to support his weight, and gently lowered him to the floor, kneeling over him. She pulled the headphones off, now that the sound was gone, revealing lightly bleeding ears but it was nothing compared to Nicolas' injuries. She was inclined to cradle him in her lap but didn't for fear of causing him more pain. There was no place he wasn't injured.

Nicolas…..?

She probed, tenderly sliding her hand into his. She gasps as a sudden shock shoots through her hand, all the way up her arm, leaving the familiar tingling behind it. She doesn't yank her hand back this time. Nicolas sits up with a groan, his body recovering and healing itself as Haleigh watches with wide eyes. Everyone was calling for them to leave, and Haleigh helps to support Nicolas as he tries to stand, withdrawing her hand when Nicolas can stand on his own. Nicolas goes to help his unconscious mother, and Haleigh checks on her sister, who is helping Cameron with Alison.

They had little time left. Sirens blared, but Haleigh found the sound to be dull and even quiet compared to Sharon's scream. She ushered the others to the platform quickly, glad to have the worst part behind them-- or so she THOUGHT.

Delilah: "wait… do you hear that?"

Morgan: "WHAT?! Who can hear anything ELSE over the steam and the SIREN?"

Haleigh couldn't hear it but once she was alerted, she checked the cameras behind them, turning to face whatever it was. She got a much BETTER look at it via camera than they did from a distance as it began to charge. Morgan and Blaze argued over what it was… Haleigh didn't know, but she knew it looked PISSED and it was headed their way. Alison made a quip about Nicolas' family and Haleigh surmised that this… creature had once been his brother. They tried to get the platform lift working in time but it too late by milliseconds. Kyle was with them on the platform, and he was formidably HUGE. Alison cautioned them to not let it infect them but gives little in the way of advice on how to fight it. Alison and Ava spearhead the attack, and then Haleigh decides she's had enough of Ava being on the frontline and grabs her, pulling her back away from the monster and placing herself protectively between her sister and Kyle. Morgan seems to have the same instinct toward Blaze and then Morgan tosses Haleigh and Karen a sideways glance, which Haleigh catches. Karen is the closest to Haleigh and Haleigh nods to confirm that she'll protect the matriarch. Kyle swipes at Morgan and Morgan blasts it with a bolt of dark energy, and Delilah unleashes her own effort.

It's too enclosed in the shaft to deploy explosives without injuring the people she was trying to SAVE, so Haleigh manifests a 50 caliber machine gun directly BEHIND Kyle and it opens fire at her command. Even at the close range, she knows it will not INJURE Kyle but it WILL serve as an irritation and a distraction in the OPPOSITE direction of the group. He will have to turn his back on them to destroy the cannon, and that will give them a precious few extra seconds. The armor piercing bullets fly, some ricochet and some pass Kyle, and Haleigh catches them before they inadvertently hit one of her allies, effectively protecting them from 'friendly fire'.
 
:: As Cameron got his sister situated, he took a quiet moment to hide his joy in that his sister was once again alive and recovered, and that's when Kyle Kelly appeared on the scene. The creature was GIANT and fast and his jaw was to the ground much like the rest of the group. His sister remarked that they had to defeat it. He was just not sure how the hell they were planning on doing that. ::

"Jesus Christ! Hasn't his family been through ENOUGH?"

:: He watched as his friends attacked and he just came back for more! He was hardly affected by Morgan's blast and Ava's wind, but he couldn't sit this one out. He was thinking that they were going to have to hit him with as much power as they had for as long as it took to exhaust him. This could be their final battle. He watched as both Delilah and Haleigh attacked the creature beautifully, and Cameron stood in front of his sister and decided he would have to fight. ::

:: Cameron closed his eyes and focused, drawing in as much psionic energy as he could. His eyes opened as remnants of the pyschic energy flowed around him and crackled. He clapped his hands as he manifested what appeared to be a semi truck composed completely of psionic energy. ::

:: BOOM! CLAP! ::

:: He then drove his hands forward with great speed as the PSI manifestation barrelled at Kyle with great intensity and STRENGTH, hoping Kyle would be distracted by Haleigh's gunfire. He knew he was pretty much invulnerable, but he thought he might test the waters with psionic energy since Kyle seemed to possess a kind of "monkey mind" acting on pure and deadly instinct. Cameron may not have been as powerful as Malice, but he was no slouch. There was something to be said for adrenaline and fear mixed with a desperate need to protect his sister. ::

"We need to hit him with MORE!"

Nicolas made his way to the platform with the when the other shoe fell.

KYLE

Niclas mind THROBBED with the name as everyone said their piece concerning his arrival. even in this monstrously mutated form Nicolas saw the kid he used to know, saw that he was now dead...replaces by the thing before him, destroyed by Mystech.

The team acted in concert to try to defeat the beast but he was too STRONG, stronger than any of them. He could not be cut by it or he would be mutated himself which could be even worse than Kyle! Nicolas thought about what to do as Kyle was frozen, shot, blasted, and finally run over by psi-form Mack Truck. He stepped forward to take his turn, forming concrete around his fists as he struck savagely at Kyle, using his TK and teleportation to stay far ahead of Kyle, confusing him as he hit him with a ferocity and strength that none of the others could match. He'd made a decision, and this decision forced him to choose his current companions over what he'd known, over what he'd had before with Kyle. Kyle was no more, and he oculd not suffer this beast to live.

Nicolas worked Kyle into the center of the escape pod as he had planned, then tackled him, pinning his arms with concrete as he removed all of the floor except for about 30 inches in a ring around the perimeter. As he did it, he pushed everyone to the sides and held on as he and Kyle plunged back toward the emptiness below.

As they fell, he looked into Kyle's face and was very sad. He sighed and said to his once-brother.

I will avenge the you that was. But right now...I have a pod to catch. Goodbye.

Nicolas teleported out of the embrace he held with Kyle and reappeared back onto the pod, reassembling the floor as he returned a very sad young man.

<< Nicolas was fortunate. Kyle was suitably stunned and staggered by Delilah's detailed and powerfull attack long enough for Nicolas to quickly take control and turn the situation to their favor as he left his adoptive brother to fall to his death down the dark shaft while he returned to the platform.>>

<< Karen continued to guide them up the roof...where they FINALLY saw the OUTSIDE again after what was HOURS and for Nicolas...it was the FIRST time...in over 20 years! >>

<< they reach the top and as everyone quickly hustles off, bringing their passengers along, Karen quickly operates the control pad to begin SEALING the entrance behind them.>>

Karen: There is the chopper, but I don't know how to operate it! i'm assuming, Haleigh, that YOU can assist with that?

<< Karen points toward the large helipad.>>

<< from where they were, they now had a breathtaking view of the mansion's grounds and forest and they could see the smoke and FIRE rising up from the doomed raccoon city.>>

<< being here now, feeling the breezy late night/early morning air was like a deceptive tease of freedom...they were still not clear of the mansion OR the city yet.>>

<< everyone makes their way toward the large chopper and one by one, they board as Haleigh takes control of the aircraft. she doesnt bother to ask a course...she knows all she needs to do for NOW as get away from here as FAR as possible!>>
 
back up top...the roof!

<< Morgan was going to try to attack AGAIN as Delilah staggered the creature but then NICOLAS stepped up and risked his own life to stop the menace of his "brother". as they reached the TOP of the shaft, Morgan became more anxious as she looked between Deilah and Blaze.>>

we're almost THERE!

<< thick metal locks disengage and the ceiling opens as they reach the top...the ROOF!>>

<< the breezy predawn air meets them and Morgan's hair begins to blow in the wind!>>

we're OUT!!!


Karen: There is the chopper said:
<< Morgan helps Delilah, Blaze ,Ava and Alison off the platform.>>

Hurry!!!

<< as they all run for the chopper, Morgan is bringing up the rear.>>

<< suddenly the ground EXPLODES under her with the metal plates of the platform flying up into the air with such force and SLAMMING down periously close to the chopper, rocking the roof. The FORCE catches Morgan as she screams with shock and PAIN. she is blasted off her feet and falls hard to the ground.>>

OH!! MY ANKLE!

<< which is broken!>>

<< the creature, KYLE has RETURNED...emerging from the open which has not completely closed. HE is now on the roof as well...closing in on a hurt Morgan.>>

<< his shadow looms over her as she looks up at the creature...>>

one last scare!

<< Karen seats herself in the cabin...counting each person making SURE that everyone, ESPECIALLY her daughters are accounted but as the chopper is warming up...>>

Blaze: Morgan? Where is she?

Karen: MORGAN?

<< the explosiove arrival of Kyle is noted and shakes the aircraft. Morgan's SCREAM and flash of PAIN registers with Karen! >>

It's KYLE! He's HERE....

BABY!


<< Karen gets up...preparing to go to her daughter's aid!>>

Blaze: NO! MOM! I'll get her!

Haleigh: Doctor, with all due respect...you're in no shape to fight that creature! Blaze, get your sister and get BACK HERE...I've got something instore for our uninvited guest.

<< Haleigh was mobilizing the rocket launcher on the chopper and preparing to lock it on Kyle dead center.>>

<< Blaze runs out of chopper and down the slope toward Morgan.>>

Blaze: Morg! I'm COMING!!!

<< Karen is visibly distressed and Delilah does her best to hold the doctor steady.>>
 
Out of the plane, back on to the now dust filled air of the roof. the sound of the chopper was drowned out by the screams of tall, big and ugly! the nightmare was always the worst when it was nearly over it seemed and after all the time Morgan had been understanding and protective of HER? She had damn well better make sure she was there for her sister now when she needed it most!

Another problem, from a doorway of the fire exit comes zombies streaming through!

"aw MAN!"

her heart races, she feels fear creeping up. every step forward is like a baby step! everything seems to be slowing DOWN except her heart beat!

Morgan: Blaze...GET OUT OF HERE! just LEAVE!

Blaze: SHUT UP! I'm not leaving you!

Reaching her sister, Blaze attempts to help her up.

"what did you eat for dinner, CEMENT!?"

Morgan: << wincing with pain!>> are you out of your MIND!?

The sisters had this quirky way of reacating in the face of danger...after so much trauma in their past...it was to be expected. as long as they were together, it seemed less....daunting?

The creature was RIGHT THERE, on top of them and to about to streak what would surely be a fatal blow! Morgan couldnt walk on her own and Blaze had no time to do anything ELSE! Was this IT? was it all coming to an end NOW after all they had endured?

SNAP!

Blaze's eyes turn yellow and emit sparks as she thrusts her hands out upward an explosive sound is heard as a flash of light is seen and Blaze's emotions charge the manifestation of her power in the form of a FIREBIRD, a WHITE HOT flaming RAPTOR image that she channels and directs FULL FORCE at Kyle. As BIG as HE was? the FIREBIRD dwarfed even HIM and the white hot flame envelopes him eagerly as his roar is drowned out by the din of the fire fall! the elemental assault expands, destroying the zombies instant and Kyle is BURNED through and through before being consumed. the flames ignite fire across the roof now.

<< at that moment, Morgan had no choice but to let the roles be REVERSED as Blaze protected HER and saved THEIR lives! but Blaze's attack , while powerfull beyond measure was not entirely CONTROLLED! it was feueled by EMOTION and the need to survive and now the chain reaction caused by it was endangering their chance to escape the roof!>>

<< Morgan was in extreme PAIN , barely able to stand, and now laying behind Blaze.>>

<< no words...no time...just INSTINCT as Mother had taught her. IN the twinkling of her eye...Morgan TELEPORTS herself and her sister INTO the aircraft among the others in the cabin!>>

<< Alison begins to shut the loading slope behind them.>>

Alison: Haleigh...TAKE OFF....HURRY!!

<< the auto destruct sequence was now 15 seconds away from detonating and the roof was being RAVAGED by fire. Kyle was now a burning heap....DEAD.>>

Karen: Morgan, BLAZE...oh thank the goddess!!! let me heal you!

<< and as she did so...she hugged her daughter.>>

we're all here now...and Haleigh has promised us that once we escape...she will ensure that no one from mystech finds us again!

<< lift off, turn....and take off! they were finally, completely OFF of the grounds of that horrible mansion and research facility! with the fire raging above, and the shape of Kyle still faintly detectable in the midst white hot flames, he soon became an INSTANT memory along with everything else as the auto destruct sequence concluded...>>

3....<< sweeping through all the areas of the mansion they had been.>>

2...<< places they had NOT been, where zombies and other creatures roamed, still unaware.>>

1...<< the underground lair, the aqua ring, the control rooms...>>

0...<< all that had been, all that was....or will be...FINISHED.>>

<< BOOM!

<< from the bottom to the top the mansion EXPLODES in a mushroom of fire and explosives, the mansion is DESTROYED and the immediate grounds SCORCHED >>

<< they HEAR it...and SEE it but thankfully they were far enough away from THAT.>>

<< and now...it was officially DAWN. the skies were blue/pink with the peeking of the sun as it attempted to reclaim the sky from the moon that watched the chaos of raccoon city.>>

<< for the briefest of moments, the GROUP along with their passengers Sharon and the kitten had a moment to realize they had ESCAPED with their LIVES and managed to rescue their loved ones! even Nicolas was now FREE and had his MOTHER to boot!>>

<< but as they now passed near Racoon City....Haleigh picked up something deadly on her radar. precision tactical nuclear device, two of them, yield five, having been deployed by a sleek, black aircraft bearing mystech's logo but under government sanction! >>

<< the devices sail past them as they all sit...lay....weary and exhausted and they streak toward rthe city>>

Back in Raccoon City

<< zooming down from high above back to street level...no one is left alive...at least it seems that way. zombies, the dead walk! the city is ruined to its core...its spirit forever tainted, a tragic testimony to the corporate malificence and greed of Mystech and the complicity of the people here.>>

<< zombies straggle about...as the missles fly into view above the city at its center most point.>>

<< Karen heals her daughter and Morgan's face immediately shows signs of relief. as they finally get properly airborn and on their way, Morgan sits with Blaze between her and her mother. her baby sister rests her head on Morgan's shoulder as the mansion explodes.>>

Blaze: We got our mom back, Morg...and we escaped....its over.

<< Morgan leans her own head against the window and sighs...truly exhausted and weary as she touches Blaze's hand.>>

we're all safe...but is it really...over?

<< for a few moments, they fly along. dawn is upon them and as they pass over Racoon City, the nuclear devices come. Morgan sits up...>>

tragic turn of events

<< Karen does her best to brace, but the effect is so jarring she gasps as she tries desperately to hang on.>>

<< they are s haken, jarred and jolted and battered th em as they tried to keep themsleves together. Karen was slammed in the head by a falling object. she wanted to pass out, as it was, she was now badly disoriented.>>

<< from a few feet away, a sharp, metal pole piece was dislodged and came spiraling toward Karen....>>

<< she groaned as her eyes fluttered and the jagged object neared.>>


<< BLAZE sees the object and as it reaches her mother, the daughter shifts and thrusts herself over, shielding her mother as the jagged pipe slams INTO HER chest and IMPALES her.>>

Morgan: BLAZE!

<< she screams so loud her voice CRACKS.>>

<< Blaze's head falls back, her eyes open, but blank in stare...blood trickling from her mouth...she's DEAD.>>

<< Delilah struggles to restrain Morgan who tries to get over to Blaze, Karen passes out from shock and disbelief and at that moment, Haleigh announces they 're going DOWN. they're going to have to make a crash landing!>>
 
They were safe. Everyone was alive and really at the moment that was all they could ask for. They had been to the depths of Arklay Manor and they had survived with their lives intact. In fact, they had Haleigh, Sharon, Karen and Nicholas. Everything, as traumatic as it was, seemed to be worth it.

Cameron watched the explosion of Arklay Manor that rocked the helicopter to it's core as they frantically made their way towards Raccoon City which was just as much in ruin. The city where Cameron had made his home was unrecognizable. It looked like a scary movie, only much worse. He couldn't even see once distinguished landmarks.

"What the hell?"

A black aircraft zoomed by as they began detonating missiles into the city, sealing it's fate and not allowing anything on the ground to survive. The blasts were ridiculously powerful and the FLASH was almost blinding as if Delilah herself was at ground zero. A huge rippling shockwave and explosion occured. Cameron was lost for words. Things like this didn't really happened. He felt he was now in a war movie. An apocalypse. The concussive impact SLAMMED into the helicopter as everyone was rattled from their seats and thrown around. Cameron tried his best to grab on whatever was closest to maintain a balance. We're they crashing?

"ARGHH!"

The telepath gritted his teeth, digging his feet to the ground as hard as he could. After everything they had just been through it would seem almost CRUEL to have their fate sealed in the aircraft, it just wasn't right! His thoughts were put to the test as he saw a pole edging straight towards Karen Victoria!

"Karen! Look OUT!"

Blaze quickly shields her mother and takes the IMPACT of the pipe as it horrifically impales her. There was no coming back from that. He was right across from her in the aircraft and he could see her blank and white eyes. Blaze Fielding was dead. Now for the crash landing?! Great. Cameron grabs his sister hand and grips it TIGHTLY.

"Don't you DARE die on me now Ally Cat! DON'T YOU DARE!!!"

Cameron held on for dear life as he prepared for a landing that might kill them all.

As Delilah reached the helicopter, she turned back to see Morgan fall hard in the explosion. Blaze was after her in a split second, and Delilah held Karen back from going after her as well.

“Karen, it won’t help anything if you get hurt too – Blaze will get her!”

Blaze deep fried what remained of Kyle - and just like that they were all safely pulling away on the helicopter, with Karen healing their wounds. Well, their physical wounds anyway. Delilah knew she should feel sorry about Kyle, but right now, all she wanted to do was forget that any of this had happened to them at all. She didn’t watch as Arklay was destroyed.

They flew over Raccoon City, what once had been her home. She couldn’t imagine ever returning there, even if it wasn’t too dangerous. She wasn’t prepared., though, for the city to suddenly be ground zero for a massive nuclear explosion. She gasped. The light was intense, but with her vision, she didn’t have to look away. She took it all in. There was long second of peace before the shockwave hit, the helicopter seemingly coming apart around them. Had they survived the horrors of Arklay, just to fail now?

And then it happened. It was so quick. It didn’t even seem real.

“Blaze?”

Morgan was trying to get to her sister, but Delilah pushed her back in her seat.

“Morgan – stop! We’re going down! You can’t help her if you’re thrown out of this thing.”

She had to do something to cushion their landing. Delilah had taken in more than enough sound energy from the two explosions, so she sent a pressor beam out between the helicopter and the ground. The beam would push them away from the earth, and hopefully, slow their descent.
