I'm following Lexi's lead on this one, but Farrah if you wanted us to go in a different direction you can delete my post and make a counter plan with Alison.

I was assuming that Oracle or Harbinger would post giving the outcome of Haleigh's attack, and then we would all react at that time. But if you're waiting on us to post first, just let us know so we don't all sit around staring at each other ;)

interestingly enough, tabitha is the first woman ive gone to with help with my computer. ive never encountered a female who does this kind of work. she's a lesbian (as i discovered upon meeting her face to face) and very friendly. i liked that she wasnt an asshole about this process (unlike some of the men who i called for estimates) and she only charged me $80.00 and not only cleaned it up, but totally redid my anti virus/security set up.

so, NOW im on a lap top. Tabitha has my computer tower again...it apparently wasnt ready like we thought. still, she's kind enough to loan me this for the time being. so here i am :)

i apologize for the continued delays but please bare with me.

ill be back on in a couple hours after we get things situated with this loaner that im using since itll probably be on the long term.

On a side note: Came across an interesting thread over at BB about RPGs. Since we always try to figure out why there are virtually no RPGs like ours anymore, I thought I'd share. The posts I'm reading indicate that "kids nowadays" (lol) feel like forum chats are too slow and they prefer "one on one" or real-time RPGs. Thought that was interesting. :)
 
"kids now adays"....God I feel old lol. But I can understand that. I know there are times in the game where they're a really great moment that's happening in the game and I want to see peoples reactions or what happens next, and nothing happens for a few days. That's definitely the downfall to a forum RPG. However, it also accommodates our schedules so everyone can RP, and we can continue a solid storyline which is documented for later reading. :)

I guess there are perks and downfalls to forum RPG's, but I still think it's sad that so many have died out.
 
I love our RPG, but it is a dying art.

Think of how many people leave high school with no ability to write creatively or enough imagination to visualize something written by someone else and add to it. That exercise isn't even done in schools anymore.

The above is part of it, the other part is the availability of incredible games with RPG capability, from Fable to now the DC Universe series. I am thinking of paying for a PS3 JUST for that.

We are dinosaurs. RAWR...
 
It's so true Garrick. I literally learned how to write because of RPing. My vocabulary, sentence structure, everything was learned from reading other RPer's posts. It really helped me in school, and continues to do so. It's definitely sad that it's a dying art. :( Because i've had so much fun doing it throughout the years that I can't imagine NOT doing it.

That's why i'm so happy we have our RP. :D

And LOL at your dinosaur comment.
 
hey ladies [and gent lol], I know this is poor timing but i've ended up picking up some extra shifts at work. I doubled today and i'm exhausted and i'm doubling tomorrow. Plus it seems I've caught a SECOND round of this retarded cold/flu thing going around.... so needless to say I'm not much up to posting.

I know I kind of opened a can of worms lol, and I wish I could post but I won't be able to until at least friday, IF I don't end up working that too.

You're welcome to just gloss over the stuff with Haleigh if you don't want to wait. I don't mind at all lol, I don't want to hold y'all up. If you want to carry me along, just say that haleigh revealed that she was concerned the sword would be able to kill her now, and that once Alison ASSURED her that the sword would be safe in its new place, that Haleigh relinquished it lol

:( Don't work too much, that's probably why you're getting sicker. You need to rest hun. Just rest Lexi, the game will be here when you get back! :)
 
I echo the others- take care of YOU, dear Lexi. I know what it is to be tired, overwhelmed AND have health issues. We're not going anywhere. Ill carry Haleigh and we'll move on and when you're ready to come back I know you'll pick up easily.

Right now, just rest yourself.
 
okay so i was trying to post but i cant get it together. im rather tired and frazzled after the events of this evening where i was so ill try again in the day tommorow while @ work.
