Well I agree about the similarity thing, because it personally irks me to come on and read everyone able to do the same thing as everybody else.

I feel like we need to work together more, cause it feels like all of us are posting against each other trying to outdo each other and it's not working. We all need to respect each other and their characters and let everybody have their moments.

This is getting out of hand IMO.

it seems like certain people feel like they have eto OUTDO other players now and it was never like this before. It's ruining the game...and this has always been a HELL of a game thanks to the players but now it seems like people dont work together, things dont flow smoothly and there's too much OOC drama.

EVERYBODY needs to get a grip and realize that your character only does what the powers in that character's bio state. you dont ADD or change things at your whim....you check with the mastrix first if you want to change an aspect of your character.

Vilandra is right on the money with this:

this OOC mess started in the last storyline because someone decided to run their mouth about a "Morgan and Alison show" and WHOEVER said it needs to just stop being childish because that shit wasnt even accurate.

First of all Farrah you need to CALM down. You tell me I need to get a hold of myself yet your turning around and flipping out on a game. Is this REALLY going to matter in a year to five years? No, because by then you'll realize how petty this is.

If you had a problem with ME, you should have PM me personally. I would have listened but to prune the shoutbox and fly off the wagon is not needed.

A few points I'm going to discuss and I will defend my point of view to explain myself.

1.) I did NOT see that you were having Spellbinder going to Nicolas. I re - read your posts several times and you made NO mention of it. Unless you posted about it in the shoutbox (which I wasn't reading) then okay. But your post was vague flat out. You should have made it more known. You've done this on more than one occasion once before, it confused me. Secondly I made an error of putting "Morgan battling Erika" rather than "Delilah."

I do NOT take kindly to you blowing me off when I tried to communicate you via the shoutbox like a normal person. I apologized to you TWICE in the shoutbox and I let it go.

But, I am going to express how I feel and I think your overreacting to this. Threatening to cancel the Six? If you feel it necessary its your game and your decision. I'm not leaving nor do I plan to. I feel this little skirmish can be resolved. But, I think YOU need to take a step back, calm down, and then come talk to me. Otherwise we're going to just fight and I have no desire to fight with you over a game. A game I truly enjoy.

2.) Foxfire was created BEFORE Haleigh Davidoff and Persephone. Way before I was in the Masters of Evil. Blaze worked for an organization entitled Section One. It was centered in Europe and obviously Blaze knew a few languages. I thought it was the perfect time to introduce that when PERSEPHONE mentioned of speaking Greek. I had this character's history made and created before Sam even pondered the idea of a Goddess. I was not "copy - catting" in anyway. If you feel that way then Sam I apologize to you personally. But, like I said I created this character before your time. I didn't incorporate Blaze's past because her bio is already large enough. If you have a problem with something my character does (from any of you) then I ask you kindly contact me via AOL, MSN, Yahoo, E-mail, or PM.

3.) If we're going to discuss copying then I would like to discuss Nicolas' character who never had pyrokinesis before in his original bio. He recently added to his bio but I FEEL this is copying from Blaze. Blaze wields fire she always has been. And then hydrokinesis wielding too? That seems unrealistic to me to have all of those kinesis' suddenly. Telekinesis is fine but its odd to me to see Nicolas setting things on fire, which BLAZE can do. Nobody has mentioned that as of yet. If we're going to discuss Blaze "copying" off Persephone then I think its fair to bring Nicolas copying Blaze into this.

4.) I don't try to outdo any character or "show them up" but as of lately we ALL are failing to read posts. Sam failed to read when Persephone returned to Illusta. She stated Blaze was glaring at Haleigh after their bitchfight. Blaze was unconscious from Haleigh's attack.

I myself have been better with reading and including clues and what not. And whatever Farrah mentioned about Nicolas, I say show me Exhibit A? Where is it? Like I said I didn't see it in your post at all, and I'm sorry. I made a mistake, I wasn't trying to up - one you in anyway. If I knew you had this planned I would have accommodated or edited.

I think we're ALL passionate about role playing and as of lately most of us have made mistakes. I've admitted my mistakes, I learned from them, and I apologized to each of you and Farrah several days ago. I apologized to Farrah last night.

Personally, I think the game needs a reprieve for a short while. I think some of us are more hostile than others. And I'm not in the mood to fight with any other players or Farrah.

Next time there is a problem, I ask ANY and all players contact me. We'll discuss it and we'll go from there. I will happily edit, nothing is written in stone once a post is made.

honey, save your attempts at trying to be a SAGE with the right answers. I KNOW this is just a game and so does everyone else. but its a game that we have all ENJOYED for nearly 2 years now (and so have some non players who like to read along) and whether you realize it or not....some of us would like to KEEP the game going.

Any OTHER time, we've been able to work together but the fact of the matter is, YOU were the one who WRECKED the last storyline with your bullshit stunts and YOU are the one who screwed up what Garrick and I were trying to do in this latest playing thread. It was something Garrick asked ME if he could do because he was trying show a different side to Nicolas for characater development.

Next: don't tell me how to act or what to do. I have handled things here just FINE until lately when more and more problems have occurred and people act like they can't read or listen to directions. If i WANT you to leave, you WILL leave, trust and believe. You don't run this, nor are you about to trip us up with your nonsense.

Next: to be quite FRANK...i may SAY "we've all been doing this or that" but i say that for the sake of the group as a whole. truth be told SOME players ARE working ALOT better than others and the fact of the matter is that this game has been flowing FINE for the last year and a half and until the end of the last storyline and this current one...there havent been any problems....SAVE the problems YOU , heather, caused during the Inferno for which you were taken out of the game. by the way..i know it was YOU who made the comments about the "Morgan and Alison show" and that you WILLFHULLY derailed the last storyline because of it, so if ANYONE needs a "reprieve" from this game...its YOU.

Garrick is the new comer here. he is the only person that none of us have worked with before and while he's new to this game and it's format. I can understand having to remind/correct him right now because this is only his second story and he's still adjusting to the freedom this game offers.

However, i shouldnt have to be doing this with YOU, Heather or anyone ELSE because we've all been working together since ADA. If i tell you o change or correct something, just DO it and stop challenging me left and right all the time, especially when you're the one in the wrong.

As for "when Blaze was created" vs. Haleigh and Persephone? that is IRRELEVANT. common sense: Persephone is a GODDESS, an immortal character who has existed in TWO timelines and worked with TWO sets of teams PLUS she heralds from greek mytholoy/legend. It would be MORE than obvious that she speaks greek fluently. Sam has gone through alot of trouble to revamp Persephone and she's doing a VERY good job with her, this isnt the first time one of her's (or someone else's ) character's trademarks has been copied or stolen by another player but now its getting to the point where other characters are able to do what everyone else does and its out of hand.

here's the bottom line: as of TODAY i will be deciding which powers a character has to let go of in this game because CLEARLY some of you just don't seem to know how to keep yourselves in check. Garrick you're going to have to change's Nicolas' power set. Brandon...Erika needs to REIGN in her ability, even Ororo doesnt go all over the place with her magicks like that and i TOLD you that the formula for "the next big villain" of The six was NOT what we were striving for in this storyline. and Heather...that exampled i used about a fire manipulator turning into a DRAGON or Lycan/Vampire was DIRECTLY aimed at YOU because was a stunt YOU pulled, and truth be told having an omega class healing factor does not mean you have the power to heal OTHER people . it means your own durability , resistance to poison/illness are extremely high. Blaze NEVER had the power to "heal" anyone OUTSIDE of "Burn victims" (which is specifically stated in the bio) until the storyline with Malice/Blackout and then suddenly she could heal all wounds?. THEN in the very last storyline...she sported the power to FLY and TELEPORT? where was this listed in the bio? NO WHERE. This is the shit i'm talking about. we NEVER had this kind of problem before. If a player wanted to add something to his/her character...they came to ME first and we talked about it. a PRIME example:

when Sam wanted to give Shockwave the power to "glamor". we talked about it and found a way to bring it into the story so that she would gain the power and then keep it from there on. THAT is how you do things. You dont just PULL POWERS OUT OF YOUR ASS.




There's not going to be a whole lot of discussion on this. For anybody that has questions on what to do with their character, I'll be glad to work WITH you on which powers stay and go and how the ones that REMAIN are to be used. Again, this was NEVER a problem before...now suddenly everyone is trying to do what EVERY ELSE does and I'm jus tired of of the constant need for some people to try to outdo each other.

furthermore: Heather, your assessment of the situation...about US needing a repieve is VERY flawed, considering that I KNOW you've been running your mouth about this game behind my back OFF the board. You who blamed your wrecking of the last storyline on "personal problems"- as if no one ELSE ever has issues offline? if it was THAT bad, you shouldve taken your own break.

I haven't "flipped out" over a game YET, nor do I intend to. YOU will be removed before that happens. If ANYTHING i am truly tired and frustrated with having had to cover the same points in OOC now TWICE in less than a week. Im unhappy with the results of this storyline, and im TRULY tired of people not working together. the game has worked FINE for so long when it seemed people were NOT trying to outdo each other.

i'm starting to see a chronic problem here. were bickering and fighting over petty stuff when we SHOULD be enjoying the game.

and Heather, I disagree with you. Sure, Farrah is at the HELM of this game.... but its not JUST hers.... its OURS. It belongs to EVERYONE who takes the time out of their lives to contribute to it.... but you have to keep in mind that she IS the mastrix and it has worked WELL that way for quite some time... so if she brings up an issue... we should all be the ADULTS we are and discuss it and if she asks us to change something, we should try to accomdate that because she wouldnt ask unless it was to help the FLOW of the game. If it something that you'd rather NOT change then talk to her... she's not a TYRANT and it would seem absurd not to be able to reach some kind of compromise. and as far as I know... she hasn't scrapped a storyline without at least ASKING us first to see what we think about it, so its not as if she's trying to 'Bush' it and go agaisnt everyone's wishes.

as i see it.... this isnt ABOUT who was created first or what not. this is about undermining the importance of something that a person tries to incorporate into their character. so WHAT about speaking in greek? its the PRINCIPLE. it would be like haleigh checking her hair or makeup in a compact, even if it WAS relevant to the situation... 'primping' is a different character's tic. thats specifically why i mentioned that while haleigh COULD speak that language, i made a point NOT to because AVA just did and Perse offered to and it was unneeded and on top of that-- Perse is a greek character and speaking the language is elemental to who she is. and i do see what you're saying on Nic using fire in his attack... so then you KNOW how it feels to be snubbed and should take EXTRA care not to [inadvertantly or otherwise] do it yourself.

Christ, can we not TALK about what's frustrating us without ATTACKING each other?


I PERSONALLY feel like too many people can self heal and heal other people... its getting to be where nobody hardly takes any damage and that dampens the effect of the fight. there's nothing WRONG with getting a little injured... and its not like you can't get healed up. no character's gonna DIE unless their 'owner' leaves the game or WANTS that character to go so dont be AFRAID to get hurt.

Okay, we KNOW there's been a problem with people not reading posts, and everyone's admitted to it, so FIX it, end of story. it not HARD to read a whole post. i know when i get BEHIND or things are going fast i speedread but so does everyone else so just CUT SOME SLACK and do the best you can. there's no need to get all tore up about someone overlooking minor details but its happening all TOO often and its something WE ALL need to work together to fix. its made WORSE by the fact that we're all rushing to post at the same time and posting all over the top of each other and then we have to go back and edit and it becomes just one big ole mess. we need to COMMUNICATE.... in the shoutbox or otherwise if were all on at once and TAKE TURNS posting... that should eliminate people getting stepped on and having to edit and a LOT of that. I find it frustrating myself when i type up what i think is a really good contribution and then have to scrap it in edit... and i know others feel the same way so lets try to give each other some ROOM. it shouldn't be this HARD.... we're all friends, right? lets act like it. drop a line in the shout box 'hey, im gonna post' or 'yall wait for me to catch up' or SOMETHING. I do it from time to time and it HELPS.

i dont think the game needs a reprieve... i think we all need to COMMUNICATE and work together.

Heather, you once again are not paying attention. Nicolas' bio said FROM THE BEGINNING that one of the expression of his TK was specifically pyrokinesis. I have not used it much because of Blaze, but it is not a stretch AT ALL to say that a high level telekinetic can create a damn fire. If it will make you feel better, I could have exploded the car on the molecular level. Would that have scratched your damn itch.
As for Nicolas power set, the irritation I have with it at this point is that when he was conceived, everything was FINE. Now there's a turf war every time someone does something. And Nicolas has done NOTHING that is not in his bio.

These things are constantly brought us when they need to be LET go, let it go. We all make mistakes, I made an error when at the time I thought it would be creative. I stepped over the creative boundary.

The end of story. The "Alison and Morgan show" yes I said it, but once again we’re bringing it up. What’s said is said, let it go. Yes, I thought that’s what the storyline revolved around. But I was WRONG when you pointed out that Alison and Morgan were merely supporting characters.

I haven’t threatened to quit the game or leave the board, I learned from my mistakes. But I do not take kindly to you shoving them in my face whenever an argument arises that is being childish.

I told her I thought it was ridiculous and especially how you blew me off when I attempted to be civil to you in the shoutbox. You go off and demand that I stop while I’m ahead. I was trying to find out what the hell was your problem. You can’t come to me when you have a problem, you always tell me, "Heather come to me when you have a problem." I had a problem with you last night and I have one with you now.

I think maybe when you originally did your bio it didn't seem to be overlap, but in practice it came out. Not saying YOU did anything wrong, just that it is what it is. Blaze is the fire one. And yeah it kind of sucks to have Nicolas using fire, if you're Blaze. Maybe it's just me, cause I'm big on variety, but I DO think what you said about having blown up the car on a molecular level would have been better. Because that makes it Nicolas' own. And sort of cool lol. I personally always felt that I was stepping on Sam's toes because Delilah and Alexis had (what seemed to me) similar powers.

On the other side, Heather - just speaking honestly about Blaze and how I've felt reading her character. She seems to have every power under the sun and seems to keep acquiring them. Bios aside - maybe they're all in there, I don't remember - but still.

Maybe we all need to get off the bio kick and just be respectful of the other people, and take this opportunity to "revamp" our characters so they are all unique. It frustrates me personally to see someone try to make something interesting happen with their character or give some insight into their personality and then have it cancelled out because everyone else jumps on it too. Lexi, I'm not coming down on you, but just pointing out that even having Haleigh immediately mention that she spoke Greek (which I'm sure we would have all assumed anyway) cheapened Persephone having said it. Maybe that could have waited until she needed to use it? I know I'm not at the same RP level as all of you are, but if I try really hard to do something with Delilah and then it's as if I shouldn't have even bothered, it sucks.

no, what needs to happen is you need to learn when to SHUT UP and just FOLLOW DIRECTIONS. THe reason why this is being revisited is because you've done this BEFORE and youve done it RECENTLY and people COMPLAINED about it.

Well I only mentioned it because I think probably a lot of the time we don't realize things like that - from your post we can tell you were intentionally trying to NOT step on Persephone's thing.

Ladies. I owe you an apology. When I saw some of the things that were written in the OOC about me, I took the time to think about what I could do better and I am trying to internalize that now. I appreciate when any of you remaining here say something to me because I feel as if you are actually trying to help. Heather pissed me off, and I reacted in a way that you guys did not deserve. I am sorry.

I am working with Farrah to get things together and make Nicolas a better character to work with. If ANYONE has an issue with something I have done in the RPG at a any time in the future, tell me ASAP. I watch the shoutbox, I am available by PM, and I have a YIM account. I would rather not be here than ruin anyone's playing enjoyment and I plan on staying, so I am going to bust ass to make it fun.
