allright, im going to say it, since Sam doesnt want to.

Rich, get your character BACK IN ACTION. Had you allowed him to be HEALED he wouldve been USEFULL to the conclusion of the storyline. as it stands right now...its "stop and go" because YOUR CHARACTER , who could fill in at some very well timed moments is "unconscious".

Now, if this has ANYTHING to do with the problem in the Hurricane Katrina thread, and your unwillingness to leave well enough alone, then you need to address that with the people whom you have an issue with in PM and stop holding up the game. IF thats not the case, then understand that Sam is feeling like certain people in this game are only doing "bare minimum" in her storyline and its making her feel bad.

if anybody has a problem...you need to communicate it.
 
Well it's not that I didn't want to say anything about the current situation, it was just that my storyline is basically over (just waiting on a few more people to post before I end it), and I want to move on already. But it is true that I felt like my storyline was half-assed or even disliked (your own opinion, I don't care). But I put forth an effort on everyone elses storylines, keeping up with them, adding situations here and there to add some spice, and I expected the same from everyone else. And when it seemed was that people basically wanted to get it over with.

But as I said, my storyline is on the brink of being over, so there's nothing I can do about it now. I really do hope ya'll enjoyed atleast some aspects of it. I was trying to get into the more 'drama' portion of the game instead of the heroic/battling part; even though there had to be SOME battling.

But anyway, the storyline should be over tonight sometime. (I'm currently at work on one of the computers. hehe).
 
if you felt that way sam, you shouldve said something to me and i couldve brought it up for everyone to discuss. i know that for MY part..Morgan and Alison have DEFINATELY been in the thick of things, and I've ENJOYED the storyline. I liked the character of Helena and the secret she held. the first few threads were some of th best playing threads we've had yet. the characters were all showing different sides to themselves.
 
Sam, I thought your storyline has been interesting and that it added some depth to Alexis that we really haven't seen before.. my only concern was that it seemed short, like I would have liked to explore Alexis some more, but that is really all.
 
well lets not critique the short comings. sometimes a faster/shorter storyline is GOOD because it prevents the possibility of frustration and boredom...given that some posts are a long time in coming during the playing threads.

my thing is, if there's a problem..for anything...it needs to be brought up here in OOC.
 
It's not a short coming at all. I just felt like it went by really fast as opposed to mine which went on FOREVER lol.

like i said..some of the earlier playing threads in this storyline were among our best yet. characters showed different sides to themselves...things were done like never before...and i think thats what made this storyline so good. Inferno (although it was screwed up at the end thanks to OOC drama) was a serious turning point and i think its aftermath excellent segued into the Alexis/Helena storyline. i especially liked the bonus of the battle between Helena and Karen...bitter rivals and old enemies both on and off the battle field.

It's not in Adrian's character to accept help from others. As it stands right now, I don't feel the current Adrian would ever realistically mold with the rest of the team. The comments from ALL team mates about what he's even doing with them has knocked me back into reality and so I'm addressing that. The current Adrian won't stop until he's gotten himself killed, so.. what's simply a "snake" bite will turn out to be much more significant, and the end result will be better with everyone.

As for the Hurricane Katrina thread, I don't let OOC problems get in the way of my roleplaying. And if anyone thinks I'm doing the bare minimum, feel free to hit me up with a PM so we can remedy the situation.

Sam: I love your storyline. Helena is an excellent villain and you made Alexis much more multi-dimensional. Like others, I feel the ending is a bit abrupt, but that overall I saw a lot of good stuff. :)
 
Well i'm glad to hear that everyone else has enjoyed this storyline as much as I have. I do agree that it is a bit shorter then the other storylines that we've had in the past, but in the end it's about quality I suppose.

Like I said, I have a few more things to do before the storyline ends, so just keep up with me until then. It will most likely be done tonight. ;) Tomorrow at the latest!
 
Yeah, I agree. This storyline somewhat showcases how pretty much Alexis is what I believe to be the heart of the group. Most of our storylines before have been like life and death and the end of the world and the Six as we know it but this one I found interesting that everyone wanted to just be there for Alexis and help her grieve, and nothing more. Helena was SUCH a bitch to everyone and the group really stood up for Alexis and showed her how much they cared each in their own way. The Six is fragile but all wanted the same goal in the end: to save Alexis and get rid of Helena. It was simple but faceted, and it showed how well Alexis has meshed with the other characters of the Six ;) Good Show, Sam. Good Show ;)

Dont feel rushed Sam, Im liking this storyline, and whats becoming of it. But... lol... where are we going after Helena is killed? back to recuperate?

Its my turn to pick up the next storyline, right?

I just want to make sure everything flows smoothly. :nod:
 
sorry guys! power outage lastnight because of Ophelia. fucking hurricane...

anyway, once helena is offically dead, i'll probably have morgan teleport us back up to wyndemere, via stepping disk, and maybe have alexis stay there for hte night or the six could stay there. who knows. i actually have to talk it over with farrah to see where she wants this to go.

but i'll direct you through my posts. ;)
 
ROFL!! Yeah when I discussed the new glamouring power with Farrah I thought it would be a great idea to change Alexis' actor image for a little, just to spice things up. :)
 
I decided to change my AI because I couldn't find any decent pictures of him lol.. SO I went to Julian McMahon, whaddyall think? I love my new Banner lol.
 
I actually really like the change. :) Haha, and it's kinda funny how both Julian and Famke were (are) on Nip/Tuck together. :D
