New Dazzler look...complain here!!

:eek: my eyes!? :mad: this is HORRIBLE! & yet, its right in line w/ what brian fucking bendis would do...so why am i surprised :rolleyes:

I remember wanting to throw up when i first saw ultimate dazzler...ugh. That was back when bendis was thought of as "hot stuff" for his ultimates books in marvel. I ALWAYS remained constant in my hatred of bendis & the way he RUINED characters/books (see AVENGERS immediately following the critical & commercial success of vol III) , saying the 1 small consolation was that he hadnt gotten his hands on the x-books. Well...since the start of A v X, THAT no longer applies. The xmen characters are almost unreadable to me now & some ( like dazzler ) now are UNRECOGNIZABLE.

The thing is? Her latest costume (before this horrid makeover) was pretty bad...its like nobody new how to draw her after claremont had given her a nice update when she first joined the xmen full time in the mid 80s & again after the Inferno. Artists kept wanting to reference her original disco look, which really didnt suit her anymore, so she did deserve a new look...but THIS!? <<FAMILY FEUD BUZZER!>>
 
no instead of out of date disco look, she's doing an out of date grunge look. only missed the end of the 90's about 15 years
 
speaking of that era you reference, her new look apparently ties in to them finally solidifying the long standing theory that Shatterstar is, in fact, the child of Dazzler & Longshot during their time in Mojo World. Now it's fact in mainstream time.
