Not because they've retired or they're elderly but rather they had a direct hand in making their own star fall down as hard as it once had risen so high or maybe for some reason it just seems they can't make a hit movie anymore for whatever reason

Off the top I'd say:

Mel Gibson
Tom Cruise
Ben Affleck
Whoopi Goldberg

At least with Whoopi- she started out as a comedienne, she's also a good writer and has found a niche for herself on the small screen.

All the people mentioned here are good ones... Especially Lindsay Lohan; that girl is so sad. And definitely Charlie Sheen. No one is going to want to hire him after all this crap!

I agree with everyone. Most of these people I wouldn't watch if they did come back. You just get that feeling of 'why can't you give up' when you think of some of these actors and the possibility of them showing up on screen once again.
