wow. aint that some shit? he & his conservative pals like to use the term "anchor baby" so freely & it turns out HE'S one! :tomato: his father was an illegal immigrant to the united states.

Therefor, according to the Right’s own logic, George (his father) grew up as an illegal immigrant, married, had children, and became Governor of Michigan. NBC revealed all of this last week. Now fast forward to the Republican Debate in South Carolina and this is what Mitt Romney had to say about illegal immigration.

“With regards to immigration policy, that those that come here illegally should not be given favoritism or a special route to becoming residents or citizens that’s not given to those people that stayed in line legally. I think we have to follow the law and insist that those that have come here illegally ultimately return home, apply, get in line with everyone else.”

Even other Republicans caught on to the hypocrasy of his rhetoric & he was booed for it.

It is hypocrisy but he's right - people shouldn't get special treatment because they came here illegally. And that includes his dad.
